Great food very poor service. Ordered a 6 person meal to be ready for pick up at 12pm. Got there and they said it almost done. We only got the food by 12h40. Incompetence is a choice in life.

Well, we were disappointed today by the delivery service Sunshine Restaurant provides. We were both feeling under the weather so I ordered in and asked for delivery. We would have been charged $4.00 because we lived on Highway 138(2 minutes away from the Restaurant) and NOT in Cornwall. I think it’s time that the management rethink of their delivery policy, I consider this stealing from the people. They will be punished differently, if we pay for delivery we won’t TIP and we tip well, so it’s their loss. As for today, I picked up my food and did NOT Tip. Extremely Disappointing!!😢😢😢😢😢😢

OK the food is good but needs spices. For example the best eggrolls in Most places in Ottawa has some cinemon powder on em. And in the Plumb sauce they put some Cloue of Giroff in the sauce to get it some zing and spice. But what do I know ? Only that My favorite Chinese Restaurent in Orleansbontario does it and they got lines of clients that buy a lot of Eggrolls and other things. The Rice is a bit blanch and missing that classic zing to the Fried rice. The place still does not serve food to tables.... But it's the best one in Cornwall but it would not be in Ottawa as it would be a 3 stars in that market. I find that a lot of restaurants in Corwall are bland and borring.
Hungry for Chinese Food, We decided to order at Sunshine Restaurant. It was to die for. I ordered a Cantonese Chow Mein(it was so flavorful & delicious) Also egg rolls(they have so much filling & homemade plum sauce) It was all worth it Will order there again
This place is a gem to Cornwall! The won ton soup is the best around. It has great flavour. A large won ton soup I had probably 9 in there which is more than other places. I love all their other dishes as well.
Best Chinese food on town - the egg rolls are fantastic. The meal for 2 easily feeds our family of 3. You will not be disappointed in the taste or quantities :)

Food is slipping a bit, not as good as it once was however its still the best place in Cornwall and they know it. food is hot & pick up is quick It would be nice if they offered General Tao chicken.

The food is excellent. The service is excellent. The interior could use some refreshing. Parking: There is limited paid parking on the street, and it is difficult to find.However, there is a parking lot across the street. A small walk, but with uneven pavement littered with potholes and gravel for those that may require a wheelchair or walkers.
Ordered for delivery. Website says free delivery surcharge of 4.00 added for 5 kms or more, Im not. Call it in they say has to be 35 or more before tax for free delivery. Nothing on site about that and now my order came to 34.65 before tax. Wouldnt do free delivery. Straight up disgusting very very poor service. I would have not ordered cause of this but my kid was looking forward to it. So I added a drink to get it delivered. Im so disappointed in them I stand by them recommend all the time. Only place I order from. Well not anymore no more recommending nothing its straight up poor management on there part. 55 cents short like really.
Take out only. This restaurant is a well-oiled machine. Despite the heavy volume of customers, they get you your food very efficiently. Amazing food. Not greasy. Highly addictive! Its really good value. You should definitely have leftovers.
Love thier food but will not order from here again. There are hidden charges,including delivery.. if you inquire into why your bill is so high, they respond by saying its an old menu. When there is no new menu available... great way to scam customers.make sure you ask the prices before ordering anything..Im in the downtown core...delivery charge + tip..feeling ripped off. 1 meal over $30..
Crispy beef tasted like pure sodium sauce has been changed or there was a mishap in the kitchen yesterday but usually I have 0 complaints.
Amazing food, I always love their food it s always fresh and well cooked. Fast delivered I don t understand why people are complaining about the 4$ charge and the order minimum is 35$ it says on the menu and online. Overall 10/10 Chinese food

Its the only Chinese in Cornwall. I only purchase takeout. Havent ordered in a long time because I am always disappointed. Coming from the GTA, its very difficult to find half decent restaurants in Cornwall.

Decided on Chinese for a get-together the Friday before Christmas. I did have a bit of trouble getting through on the phone (No-one picked up after a couple tries), so I drove over. Service was quick and the food was plentiful and delicious. The coconut chicken curry and bacon fried rice were favourites! Unfortunately I forgot to order crispy beef, so I will have to try them again soon! :)
Wow tried to call for delivery lady said we have no delivery today so wanted to say I will pick it up but she just hung up on me to expensive anyways

Very disappointed the food is good but theyre very cheap I guess the sun took over and its not the same it can be It or miss somedays I recently went and got a combination plate I asked for an extra packet of soy sauce and he told me no very rudely considering theres only a few drops in the packets to begin with He never should have said no that was not very good customer service. But Im sure he doesnt care Too bad maybe Ill have to try panda next time.
Dont get me wrong. Sunshine has amazing food but their customer service is not there. I know the sun has taken over and his customer service is even worse. I went to get a combination plate last week. The food was great I asked 4 1extra packet of soy sauce since you barely Get anything in them to begin with and he said no for no reason that is not good customer service in my opinion but Hey the food was good check. It out this time I wont say you wont be disappointed could you never know
Food was once pretty good... but the rice now has a consistently burned taste and prices are just too high for the new lower quality fare...broccoli beef was an atrocious mess (I threw the entire dish in the trash) egg rolls had a burned taste which matched the fried rice

My order was to go, Im not much of a chicken eater, but based on the recommendations I decided to try the N°1 Chiken Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, it was delicious, I would buy it again. Recommended
I ordered Egg rolls, shrimp with greens,cantonese lomien and garlic spare ribs. my only comment is that the spare ribs is so sweet that it did taste like they glaze it with sugar and no taste of garlic. but all the food was so delicious except that garlic spare ribs. hope they will improve the taste. Worst chinese food I ever tried to eat. Rice had a weird taste, vegetables were not cooked and the egg rolls were just not good. Also the website says min charge for delivery is $20 wrong it$25. Also expensive.

We ordered a dinner for 3. We live 20 minutes away and picked up. When we got home, no spare ribs. We called and the woman asked if we were sure! Pretty easy to tell but nope. The were asked if we wanted to pick up. No, we wanted to enjoy them together with our meal for 3. Again living 20 minutes away. She asked the packer who said yes he packed them, what else is he supposed to say. So we got a container with extra rice but no ribs to be seen. We were also felt to think it might be our fault??? Last time we ordered was missing plum sauce for egg rolls. Unless you open the bag in front of them and make sure every item is included, ignore this restaurant. Not worth it.

Fast and delicious food.
Friendly service, generous portions for a great price. Crispy chicken balls with a hefty chunk of meat inside, eggrolls with more meat than vegtablle filler. I noticed all the chicken meat from the chicken balls, Chowmein and rice was all breast meat which is a tad drier, but much healthier so I feel better feeding it to my kids. Restaurant is take-out only for now, but the server at the cash said they are looking to reopen for dine in in the late summer or fall.

Im very disappointed with sunshine restaurant now you get half the of the portion you use to instead of the large portion when I call the lady said its all the same but its not for a diner of 4 you would get 2 rib 2 rice large veggies and szechuan chicken 8 egg rolls bigger contains of sauce for chicken balls..... now you will get smaller dishes 1 rib 2 rice....before you can feed a family of 4 now you pay the same price as before and get less not shy with the rice though

We have ordered a few times and it seems consistent that recipes are lacking in flavor for one example: missing fresh garlic and ginger in fresh stir fry just for one example. Almonds would be appreciated in their broccoli veg dish. Most Canadian Chinese menus lack authentic food. Complacency is evident. The chef needs to regain his passion. I am not saying this to be mean. People love Chineese food and you can do better.

Normally I give this place five stars. Today is a totally different experience. The wonton soup taste like old cabbage and see smelled that way too.had ordered specific type of rib sauce and they ended up giving me two containers of the sweet and sour chicken ball sauce. The red stuff. In The fried rice was dry and not very tasty. As I said normally Im very happy with their food. Today. It seems the wheels fell off everything. And they know how to charge!

I can t help compare Sunshine to Panda. We always order from Panda because Sunshine charges a $4.00 delivery fee to Riverdale, but we were craving Chinese food and it was a Sunday (Panda is closed on Sunday and Mondays). Sunshine does have better egg rolls, they are delicious, however their portion sizes are a lot smaller and the flavour is lacking in their chicken soo guy, fried rice and chicken curry.
Hot, fresh, very good, tastes like its supposed to, friendly, fast. Im vegetarian, so I ordered vegetarian rice & noodle dishes, and the vegetable portions were substantial. Vegetable spring roll was great. Will go again. The menu is very small, so check ahead.

Food is okay, hard to find a good Chinese food on Cornwall nothing compares to Ottawa . Egg rolls are good, rice is decent . Spare ribs are good but very sweet, guy ding has no almonds and often the vegetables arent cooked enough and hard. Chicken balls is the most decent option. Combos dont come with egg roll, won ton is good but no bbq pork. Overall its okay for Chinese food craving but will continue driving to limoges at new bun key as it doenst compare. Also lady who takes payment and gives orders at sunshine has no customer service. Owners are very nice

Sunshine has the best Chinese Food in town in my opinion. Their egg rolls are my absolute favorite. Take out is packaged well and hot. I usually ask for the flat breaded chicken instead of the chicken balls. Tastes fresh and the service is always quick! Ordering is always an easy process. I recommend them.

Ordered here this past Sunday. Older lady on the phone, do us and the business a favor, either quit or retire. You are definitely not a people person and by far the rudest order taker Ive ever spoken too. Ya you might be busy but sheeeesh! Sunshine food is good, nothing to rave about but for the price, you dont get much. And their price keep going up and up. Our whole family all agree, the egg rolls have gone down in quality and taste, yet the price increases. I remember buying a dozen for 12.95 now its 18.95?? We havent ordered from here in a long time. Only reason we did is because Pandas is closed on Sundays and we were in the mood for Chinese. Nope, never again. Stick with Pandas from now on. Plus Pandas as upd their egg rolls so Sunshine aint got nothing over Pandas now. OH and the order taker at Pandas actually sounds like he or she likes working or makes an effort too.
Ordered number 10 from menu & lamb curry & fried shrimps on side. Food was good & fresh though noodles dissapointed us for being do bland & tasteless, rice & chicken was v yummy. Despite being a Chinese restaurant no chopsticks were provided though we specifically mentioned it while placing an order & lady confirmed that it will be with the order. Fortune cookies were fresh. Over all its a good food & will surely order next time.

We enjoy going out for Chinese food and especially to Sunshine Chinese Restaurant. The food is good, atmosphere and all and I didnt get heartburn which I have had at other Chinese places.
Ordered 3 combination plate. After a 3 hour wait on mothers day, not one order was correct. And was overcharged. Not going to return anytime soon.
Placed order at 5. She said 40 minutes over an hour later guy got messed up with numbers. It was sitting there for over 25 minutes.
