Excellent breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Their goat cheese and bacon eggs benedict are delicious, also, what I really appreciate is that you have the option to choose from the breakfast or lunch menu. We went on a Sunday at 12:30pm and the place was pretty full. Staff and owners are very friendly accommodating as well. I highly recommend their breakfast.

Coffee is great

Poor reception. We left before eating. We arrived June 10th, 2024 in the morning for breakfast. We sat an available booth knowing it still had to be cleaned from prior patrons. Our arrival was not acknowledged for several minutes. Once we were acknowledged, no hello, just an impolite wait at the front door until the table is cleaned. We went to the door and kept walking.

Twice in a week burnt pizza

Went here based on the reviews and the restaurant delivered. Great, tasty food, friendly service, and comfortable, homey setting. Free parking was a bonus.

Literally the worst dining experience Ive had in this city. Normally when a place is empty on a Friday during dinner service, I walk away, but unfortunately I stayed. The hot beef tasted like one of those frozen Joes meat packages you buy at Walmart, absolutely inedible. Not to mention the lack of staff, it took longer to get the bill than it did to cook my meal - yay microwave dinners. Then the staff arguing in the front of the restaurant and yelling at each other instead of quietly taking the conversation somewhere private was a huge turn off. My first, and last, dining experience here. This doesnt even meet greasy diner level, at least then it might have tasted okay. If I could give less than 1 star rating, I would.

This restaurant in downtown cornwall is a nice place to eat. Decor is out of date but nice to see some places stay the same. The food is excellent and they serve breakfast in the afternoon which is great. Will definitely be going back.

Hands down the best pizza in the entire Ottawa and Cornwall areas. Believe me, I know good pizza and this is the place. Have not had anything else on the menu other than the pizza so cannot comment on other items but pizza is awesome. Thank you.

The mozeralla sticks were good, the rest of the meal was mediocre. Chicken fingers tasted like shake and bake, and the gravy wasnt good. It took over 45 minutes to make this food while there was maybe 6 people in the restaraunt. To top it off, when paying the waitress asked me if its debit or credit. After paying I noticed a very small sign that stated theres a 2$ surcharge. When questioned about it she stated it was written down and its my fault for not reading. I mentioned to her that the sign needs to be bigger as I am somewhat visually impaired, which she laughed and shrugged. Will not return.

The food was just outstanding service was fantastic the proportions were amazing. I had the St George sub and poutine and it was absolutely delicious. Waitress was freaking awesome

What a great small town diner. Friendly, homey service, decently quick, typical diner options plus a TON more and it was tasty! We loved it. If you like diner vibes, youll like this one! We had the wraps (the cheeseburger wrap and the King George wrap) because we thought they looked interesting. And they were! Unusual but good! Might try the pizza or the fish and chips in a future visit :)

Monday around 6pm , worst experience! Ordered for 4 adults 1~ lady on the phone was in a hurry , tried to explain where we lived but she did not listen so of course we get a call saying we cannot find you do food was cold. 2 ~ asked for fries well done but we received fries not even cooked all the way through. 3~ Being Monday and a storm cook must of cleaned his grill because the burger taste like the chemical you clean the grill with , how do I know ? Been in the restaurant business for 40 years , did every job, cleaned many grills and 20 yrs Management, so Thank you for making me sick !!!

Listen. I gave you another chance. This time I was willing to pay for a side of tzatziki but guess what these con artists did..they put the tzatziki that was supposed to be on my sandwich and put it in a thimble and charged me 3.50 and bone dry gyros! Have you ever seen a gyro?? I shouldnt have to ask for sauce at all its supposed to be on it!!

We were here for a coffee and Pizza. Service was fast, and our server was kind and polite and often checked on us. The food and coffee were fresh and piping hot!

What a huge disappointment. First time I ordered from here and unfortunately its my last. Hey try putting tzatziki on your gyros it really makes the sandwich! I even double checked and asked that they be super saucy! You guys owe me a half bottle of ketchup!

We were 8 people who had the Xmas turkey dinner... We were 8 who really didnt like it. Turkey was dry, stuffing simply gross and the peas were nasty. How do you screw up peas!! We wont be going back...

8 people went this afternoon for xmas dinner, my family came from Montreal in this bad weather Dec 24 the food was not very good, it was cold. Peas hard, stuffing awful, turkey not good, the mashed potatoes and gravy was ok and paid $24. For that. I had heard that the food was very good, well 8 of us did not like it

King George Really disappointed Tonight Tomatoes old Greek potatoes barely Cooked And most of all The first time I call to complain In 3yrs since I move here I am wrong Your opinion please I ask for well done I called back to refund me transaction and tip There response was no problem but we close at 9:00 and thats when well come and get the food I really dont think this is good customer service and I have a feeling I might have to get somebody else involved to make sure I get all my money back. Now no longer aloud to order there,,, A little extreme for sure . Lets not forget MY FIRST COMPLAINT . IM SORRY IT CAME TO THIS.....

It was Mothers day, and busy. Potatoes were too salty.

I walked into restaurant at exactly 3pm and wanted to have breakfast, waitress comes over with menu and I say I don t need it I just want breakfast, she looks at clock now showing 3h01pm and says we stop serving breakfast at 3. Are you kidding me with that, making breakfast is not that time sensitive and she certainly could have said , let me check with the kitchen to see if they can still whip you up some eggs. Waitress looked completely uninterested in making any effort to please the customer so I walked out. What horrible service. If I was the owner that waitress would not be working there anymore.

Really bad and stressful service, the servers are in bad mood and always pressuring the clients, they also make messy bills and they charge what they want, we ask for 2 kids meal that are supposed to include the drinks and they charged us extra because they were large chocolate milk instead of child size The answer was very rude you should read the menu before order Also the food was flat and the soup acid Really bad experience sadly

Waitress Talia was extremely rude. Had I done something out of line to upset her, it wouldve made sense for her to have to be rude to me, but we left the place utterly confused and it kinda ruined my Sunday morning. She would act as if she couldnt understand me and make faces while making me repeat myself. I ordered for an avocado toast with soft eggs and I got a totally raw (hard and bitter) avocado, with hard poached eggs on them. I didnt return the food, I just ate the edible parts. When she cleared our table, she enquired if there was something wrong with the avocados, and we told her they were raw (again having to repeat myself), and all she said was aw. LOL, WHO DOES THAT?! No apology, no discount, no nothing. I went to the restaurant cos my friends love the place and were always treated well, but I for some reason was treated poorly.

First time breakfast. 5 star value for the price great service . Highly recommend you come and enjoy it.

The consistency is perfectly executed every time. The meals are perfectly done and are always fresh. The Rice pudding is a dream come true. The update of the interior and the eye for detail and quality makes this one of my favorite restaurants. The server is always prompt. Outgoing. Full of laughs. The young lady who does the Rice pudding is my next wife even though she isnt aware of it yet (joke). Shes very good at consistency of her food. I love that pride. I highly recommend this little place. Two big thumbs up . Vegetarian options: The coleslaw is even great

We ate at this restaurant three times so far since we moved to the east end of the city. The food is excellent and the staff are great. Parking: There is adequate parking, but easily accessible and free. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is at ground level making it wheelchair accessible.

Had a great supper here,was recommended. There was a sign thanking everyone for naming them the #1breakfast stop so we had to check it out the next morning. True to their word! 12 different styles of eggs Benedict and more. A must if youre in Cornwall. Sad if you dont.

Honestly this restaurant far exceeded my expectations When you visit a local restaurant in a town like Cornwall it can go one of two ways. But king Georges surprised me, the experience was excellent. The food was hot, delicious and so very affordable. The service was fantastic. Great little spot for a bite to eat. Food came out quick and was tasty. Good portion sizes. Restaurant was clean and quiet. All in all I will come back again especially for their chicken wings.

I had a simple fish & chips for lunch. They didnt have unsweetened ice tea so they gave me water with lemon and a teabag. 10 minute wait. Was a good meal. Food

The waitress that took my order took it wrong then I called to let them know that it was wrong and they said it would be correct and resent waited for over an hour called back and I was told that I said I didnt want it and that wasnt what I said what I ordered was 3 souvoilaky one with no rice fries instead but they sent me 4 souvlaki and my kids spaghetti because I sent everything back they refused to take my order again

February 26 , 2022 I recommend this restaurant but I ordered today and have been disappointed in the quality and slow delivery despite I live only 3 blocks away from the restaurant .. The food was barely hot so the delivery took 40 minutes so I suspect my food sat in the cold while someone chatted .. Because of this I will seek other restaurants who care for customers .. Sorry King George ...you were doing good job until today ..

Pizza is the best in town. Their other food (e.g., souvlaki, poutine) are excellent. Have ordered numerous times with big, complicated orders and 99% of the time it s 100% accurate. Pizza comes with free poutine on certain days of the week !

The food was good and decent, but the customer service was lacking, we had a waitress and she was having quite and attitude, would come back, but not so often.

I ordered a hot beef sandwich. Which is slice beef between 2 pieces of bread with gravey. They tried to serve me a hamburger oatty that had been all cut up into pieces and tried to tell me thats what I ordered. Disgusting. When I said I wasnt paying for it she said ill get the manager. She came back with attitude and trying to belittle me as she recalculated my bill to remove the disgusting mess they served me. Never have I ever been so insulted and mad at a restaurant employee. I wouldnt let my dog eat there. Absolutely terrible service and food.

We tried this restaurant out on our way to Montreal as we were famished. Overall good portions and we enjoyed the food but... Our waitress told us the soup was Tomatoe and Macaroni. We got served Beef and Alphabet. My wife ordered the wrap no onion, came with onion. I mentioned my mashed potatoes tasted awful, was not offered french fries or a substitute. Talked to one lf the senior staff and she did go out of her way to help us, and gave us a desert on the house. Good food, good prices, good portions, but our first and only experience was quite unorganized which really damaged it.

We were driving on the 401 for an 8 and half hour drive and looking for a place to eat..we like Family restaurants so i picked this place .. But we were very disappointed we waited for 45 minutes for our meal and my husband s pizza was NOT cooked And my vegetables were OVER cooked Server was NOT very nice! Horrible experience! Never recommend this place

Best part of our experience was that the food was good. The service was awful. Not only did the server get my wifes order wrong, she actually argued about it!

Have been going there for years and the food has always been good often even great. Really disappointed when I went last week and got hit with a two dollar charge for using my credit card. No warning didn t see anything on the menu only when I got to the cash I was asked if it was a credit card and when I said yes they said there s a two dollar charge it s a flat fee. I understand that s not permitted under Ontario law. That was equal to an 9% charge for using my credit card, I didn t argue I paid it and I left but I ll never go back. I also deducted two dollars from my normal tip.

Had breakfast there for the first time on Sunday since moving to Cornwall last year and this place is AMAZING ! from the service to the food , if I could give more then 5 stars I would!! Great local restaurant

We called ahead because my wife has a reaction to sodium. I asked what she could have from the menu. I was told the pork chop, chicken and burgers werent preseasoned and neither were the fries. When we got there it was a different story. Everything was preseasoned with spices and salt. The meat and fish were all from frozen. The server was helpful. She brought the owner out who was rude. We explained that we had called ahead and were told my wife could be accommodated. Everything has salt, she said, even the bread. We know bread has salt. It was unnecessary and rude. Im not saying the restaurant doesnt have delicious food, we did not stay long enough to find out. If the owner had apologized about not being able to accommodate my wife, I would not be writing this review. Yet here I am. Avoid this restaurant if you have dietary restrictions.
