Best Food ever in Cornwall

Went all out for this meal - samosas, pakoras, onion bhaji, garlic naan, lamb biryani, chicken tikka, chana masala, malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, and gulab jamun. And a mango lassi. It was epic. The naan had more than just butter/garlic/cilantro, there was a blend of spices as well and it was a really pleasant deviation from the usual. Really liked the veggie dishes, a good chana masala says a lot about the cooks, and they are good! The medium was a bit much for my husband, who can usually handle mild/medium so if you re not sure and your tolerance isn t high I d stick with a mild. But I found it pleasantly warm and could have gone for hot (next time I ll order the lamb vindaloo!). Looking forward to our next order! Edit to add: I tried the lamb vindaloo in spicy! It was fantastic followed by the rasmalai - ordered the malai kofta and channa bathura - also fantastic! My baby loved the malai kofta and the rasmalai too This place is well worth the 40 minute drive! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options on the appetizer and curry menus. Parking: There are a few spots to park at the location, and it s free parking on the street.

Be aware this place is takeout only. (There are some outside picnic tables, but not great.) That being said, you have to try it. Very friendly people. Completely unpretentious. Amazing, fresh, flavourful Indian food. Good sized portions. If you ask for it spicey, be ready for spicey. - In a good way. Its a pity we dont live closer. We just dropped in while travelling the 401. - We will be back though.

After a few months of eating at Bombay Grill, Im addicted to the food here! Mr. Singhs cooking is reminiscent of the flavours of North India, and every bowl of food is a trip back home. After sticking to butter chicken for the longest time, I recently was persuaded to try their CHICKEN CURRY, and Im a convert. While the butter chicken is creamy and delightfully flavoured, the chicken curry with its onion and tomato gravy is otherworldly. The freshness of the ingredients comes through in every bite, leaving you with a satiated lightness that only good food can bring. The naans are always served hot and fresh, and their mango lassi and sweet lassi go very well with the menu. The yogurt in these beverages is traditionally consumed with the curries as it helps aid digestion. To eat something similar you would literally have to go to India. This is a hidden gem serving authentic North Indian food in Cornwall and should not be missed! Vegetarian options: The butter paneer and malai kofta are excellent vegetarian options!

I had a great experience at this place. I randomly found this restaurant on google while travelling from Quebec to Toronto and to my surprise, the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered malai kofta, dal takda, naan and tawa roti, they all were amazing. It felt like having pure home cooked food that I ended up getting a chicken curry packed for the dinner as well. Uncle ji, the owner of the restaurant is so welcoming and humble in nature. It would definetly be my go to spot whenever Im around or travelling.

We recently stopped at Bombay Grill on our trip to Montreal. We were travelling with our dog and just wanted some Indian place that would allow a dog in their premise. We went with very little expectation but were just wowed by the amazing food. It was heavenly. One of the best Indian food I have eaten in Ontario. The Madras lamb curry, Aloo Gobhi sabji were out of the world. And it doesnt stop there - the tawa roti was an icing on the top. The owner- Uncleji- was so kind and welcoming. It just felt like eating home food. Totally Totally recommend this place. Actually, I am writing this review on my return from Montreal and cant wait to once again pick up food from Bombay grill.

Went there 3-4 times in 2 years, I ordered a biryani today, first of all, no washroom in the restaurant, and Secondly when I asked if there was raita with biryani, was told no we dont give it, The owner of the restaurant said he could give it to me, I said fine. In my bill, 4 dollars was added for Raita which brought my total bill to 19$, and the same thing in a restaurant called Wow India is $ 14 with raita I am leaving an honest review that they should always tell the cx that the additional thing they are asking will not be free because according to me every restaurant sells biryani with raita and does not use this trick to sell raita itself for $4 ( and hopefully you increase the quantity of biryani and add some raita on the side)

I have gone twice now both times I was greeted with a friendly smile by who I assume is the owner. Both times the gentlemen took the time to listen and figure out what I would like best. The food both times were really excellent. This restaurant should be high lighted in town for both the quality of food and the quality of service. 5 stars all the way I will be returning with a empty stomach and full appetite.

The various menu options that we have chosen have all been wonderfully crafted with care and seasoned to perfection. The levels of spice are offered from American Mild to Indian Spicy. These options accommodate our family wonderfully as we all enjoy different levels of spice. Our personal suggestions for vegetarian appetizers are the onion bhaji, and the veggie samosas. We would also suggest chicken pakora as gorgeously fried chicken appetizer. All of the curry options we have tried (curry chicken, butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, lamb korma, lamb vindaloo, lamb curry, and the butter lamb) have all been magnificent and also are offered in special combo options that include naan bread and rice. The Bombay Grill RBGs biryani offered in chicken, lamb, shrimp or vegetable is also very delicious; the basmati rice is cooked to perfection! As for drinks and desserts, the mango lassi (drink) and the gulab jamun (dessert) are sure to satisfy as theyre a wonderful, sweet, light finish to any of the wonderful selections offered at the Bombay Grill RBG!!
