The servers are very kind and the food is delicious!

Food was good. Service, all things considered was good. There was a shower or party, some sort of gathering of some kind going on, so half the resturant was extremely crowded, and unfortunately this was the half of the facility that had both the kitchen and the bathrooms, so all the traffic was in one location, which is no fault of the resturant.

Came here for an after wedding dinner with a large group. The atmosphere was nice, the food was great, and the service was wonderful as well. I LOVED that I was able to order a half and half pizza as I was torn between two options.

Meh basic bar service in a place that is supposed to feel like its for upper class but it really feels like middle class. Its like any other bar that serves food. Nothing special. A for effort but umm its 2024. I dont see a place like cornwall ever booming because its own people dont even like each other but some day the city will be happy and improve their food and atmosphere.. its just a matter of when

Simply the best Poutine in Cornwall. I came six and a half hours away and would drive all that way just to come back here for the food. The staff is friendly and the food is hot, fresh, and delicious!

Such a nice spot for date night and excellent food

We had lunch on their terrace a Saturday in May, service was very good. My boyfriend had the chicken quesadilla, our friend had the Rainbow Salad with salmon. They both loved their meal. My daughter and I shared a pizza, shes 13yo I couldnt try anything outside of the classic all dressed. It was good, absolutely nothing wrong with it but I personally prefer a pizza with a thicker crust. Unfortunately we forgot to take pics of our plates lol we were too hungry and dug right in.

Local favourite. Great vibe. Sit in the bar at the high tops for the best experience. You can order 1/2 pizzas which will allow you to try more than one of the great combinations. Right now the Canuck is my favourite.

Stopped for lunch here while were in Cornwall to see the solar eclipse. The food was great, and the service was outstanding! I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice meal in Cornwall. Kid-friendliness: We took two 6 year olds for lunch here. They loved the food and the restaurant was very accomodating.

I discovered this place while on a work trip in Cornwall. Been to this restaurant twice already. Overall the food and service was great. I was not too impressed with the beef tacos.

Traveled some distance with family to find out we weren t welcomed due to a private party from 12-4. Being closed was never mentioned on their website and I don t do Facebook or Instagram. This information needs to be on their website.

I been refused to be served dinner items at 2:30 pm in case they didn t have enough for the evening. A 20$ burger was the closest option.

Enjoyed a New years Eve meal 2022/3 was a great time with great service. Delicious food... special menu just for New years. My one complaint was I ordered Short rib bourgignon and it only had 2 small super delicious pieces of meat for the price Id of hoped for more. But otherwise everything was perfect waitress was super helpful gave us suggestions and checked in just enough.

Wow is all I can say! We were together in Celebration of Cornwall Toyota being the #1 Import Volume Dealer in the region. But besides being about us, this post is about Esca! What a fabulous restaurant, atmosphere and excellent food! Most important was the outstanding waitress we had! OMG her personality, her smile, and her mannerism magnified the experience I had tonight! I highly recommend and will return again to Esca! A great experience and the perfect Salmon Dinner!

My husband and I are food critics. Like I was surprised with the taste, portions and price. It was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was just as amazing. We do not like to be hounded while we have a mouth full if food. If we need anything we will ask. Not once did they hound us! Absolutely amazing. Will be our new weekly spot.

Nice, casual spot for tasty pizzas. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Walked in and had a table right away. Had calamari, the Beet and goat cheese salad (with candied walnuts, arugula, strawberries and balsamic reduction). Also ordered a prosciutto and parmesan pizza. Everything was great. Had lots of leftovers lol. The wine card is a little limited (especially by the glass) I will go back. Vegetarian options: Some of the menu has veggie options.

It was a little loud tonight but thats only because the place was absolutely packed and for good reason. Its got great food, great service and its just an all around pleasant experience every time weve been. The price per person in my review ($30-$40) was roughly what we payed including appetizers, mains and drinks. Vegetarian options: They have a delicious looking vegetarian pizza. I didnt try it myself but my friend got it on a cauliflower crust and she loved it. The crust held up well under the large amount of diverse veggies piled on top Dietary restrictions: They have the option of cauliflower crust and some other options for keto and vegetarian diets. Not 100% sure about vegan but I imagine you could get a veggie pizza without cheese

Really need to work on their margarita! Far too bitter and definitely not great tequila. At least it was served over ice vs. frozen. Thats a positive. Tables food was good. My burger was excellent but my fries were over done and definitely the bottom of the basket - when brought to the attention of the server there was no offer to make it right. Other fries at the table were not overdone and proper good fries, though.

Great place! Good was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Good service at the speed we wanted. Try the Strawberry chocolate cheesecake and/or the Guinness chocolate cake. Both were exceptional.

Nice place we stopped at for lunch. We got a table right away. Airy, modern, rustic industrial feel and also has a patio if you wanted to sit outside. I really liked the decor. Staff were so friendly and patient with our questions as it was our first time here. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner!

The food was delicious! I had their Nona salad and pickle pizza. It arrived quickly, which was appreciated. The service was great. The server was kind and checked in frequent enough (but not too much).

Closed on Sundays in the summer with a big patio. I would have expected brunch and dinner. Disappointing. This is why downtown cornwall has become slums.

Kitchen closes at 8 on weekdays (other than Friday). Great selection of thin pizzas fit for one hungry person or 2 people willing to share. Fantastic selection of brewskis. The patio on a summer evening is absolutely perfect.

Well what can I say? We moved to area in late July, and we ve been a few times. The food is on point, and they have a great selection of beers. The service is off the charts, especially Abbie, a very bright light in this amazing establishment. We ve been to a lot of restaurants throughout Canada and the world for that matter, and she s the absolute best server we ve ever had. RJ one of the owners is a wonderful humble guy who knows how to run a very nice restaurant. We are your new regulars. Congratulations for getting it right on all counts. See you soon, Rob and Diane.

Online menu not accurate. Jedi pizza is a must. Honestly I would only go here for pizza out of 6 meals only the 2 pizzas were top tier. Was not offered a kids menu

Pickle pizza +bacon is a must have when coming to esca, actually every pizza is must have. Love this place and i hope esca are here to stay for a very long time. The restaurant can be very loud at times. Not very sensory friendly. But choose your times wisely if this bothers you. Over all great place, great food . Do yourself a favor and get pizza. Parking: Very difficult to find parking. Expect their to be none ehen arriving.

Tonight was my first time trying Esca as a night out for a family members birthday. I m pleased to say, I was not disappointed. Food was excellent, service was outstanding, and everything went great. I had the Vesuvius pizza it was amazing. Maddie was our server and she does an awesome job! 5 stars all around, 100% worth every dollar!

Yesterday was ours, and our daughter and son-in-laws first time going to Escas. Well let me tell you if you have not gone to try this restaurant yet.......what are you waiting for! It was a wonderful experience, the service, the food, and the atmosphere is so great, if you love thin crust pizza...they have the best in town Thank you to our wonderful server Maggie, super pleasant and very informative on the menu items, and also for taking the time to tell us what she recommended on the menu. No regrets here, we will become regulars for sure hands down

So this is a hidden gem in a location you didnt expect. The food is delicious and we went twice while we were there everything was fantastic, portions were good and youre paying for quality. Definitely a place people who love food will appreciate. I had the grilled salmon rainbow salad and it was so good! If youre in Cornwall go here!

Esca is a great place in Cornwall, probably the best restaurant in town. Service is great, prices are decent. However, I don t understand why the coffee refills are not free. That seems like a weird decision.

This place is very modern and fresh looking décor but the food is ...mehhh.. so so! I ordered the ravioli and much to my surprise the sauce was way thick and tasted like pizza sauce :/ I wasnt fond of it and barely ate anything off the plate sadly My husband ordered the Ribeye and potato, he said was just ok Cant say I would ever go back, all the great food comments I just dont understand, was nothing special! The drinks were cold if thats any constellation!

Visited with a dragon boat team of 16 out on the patio. Our server was incredible;quick taking our orders, and ensuring everything was correct and to our liking. On top of this, the Rurban pizza I ordered was amazing.

This was a great place that easily accommodated our large group. I had a pizza, thin crust and tasty toppings. it was delicious and was plenty left over, to take home. I had a cider, on tap, but there was a huge selection of craft beers.

Excellent service and food. Our waiter was Jacob. Very pleasant and great customer service. The food was excellent and always is. We had different types of pizza, they were all delish and spinach dip as an appetizer. The dip comes in a bread bowl, so you can eat it too. We went for a birthday party on a Saturday night. It was busy and a little wait time for food, but well worth it! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Had there jerk chicken poutine for lunch. It was the best poutine Ive ever had anywhere.

Went for lunch - my husband and I both had the smoke meat Reubens sandwich his with fries and mine with a Ceasars salad. Excellent! The server explained that theyve had their own smoker for 2 weeks now and so the smoke meat was done in house. Its worth tasting the meat by itself to savor its rich smoke flavour.The bread was fabulous! Baked in house and lightly toasted - just enough to give the sandwich a nice crunch. My Ceasar salad was made with homemade croutons, a tangy dressing and nice big pieces of shaved parmesan. The fries are served with a small dish of ketchup and a small dish of mayo - nice touch! I highly recommend this place to anyone spending any time in Cornwall(as it was recommended to us by the owner of the Burban Brewerie, also in Cornwall)
