Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Cornwall

I understand their is a certain culture working here, but do they need to speak their language over my food? One lady she kept speaking like she was on a high... No one cares what is happening. Just give them their food... I am just fed up with a lack of customer skills overall.

Had to wait almost 1 hour to get my food. Did a mobile order and I drove 15 mins to come pick it up. When I got there it still wasnt ready. I waited 15 minutes and then I asked the take out girl where my oder was. The girl packing the food said she sees my order and then proceeds to fill everyone elses order. I wait another 15 minutes and everyone elses order was full filled and even many people who came after me got their order got their before mine, even people with a similar order who came after me. After 45 minutes I had to complain to the manager for him to get the girl to fulfill my order. Not sure why she had some kind of problem with me since I never even said a word to her but terrible customer service.

I have had Popeyes at the original restaurant and this is not it, I don t think the original recipe is being followed.

Normally we have a good experience but this time not so great. Chicken was definitely not very fresh. It tasted as if it was sitting in the heater for awhile. But the lady was nice overall.

Well because it was three piece chicken special day. Dont ask for a mixed box. All they give you is their wings and drumsticks to get rid of all the small stuff and dump it on you.

Best place for fried chicken. All fresh and good quality. The staff very polite offer me, special promotion for 8$ . We gonna definitely come back.

October 6, 2024, at 11:30 am. Family often visit this restaurant because my kids like to eat there. My family of 6 plus my parents 8 total. Before, they are the one suggested us to buy the family meal and they gave extra plate to use and they told us to buy the 2 liters drinks and give us the cups to save a bit. As usual, we order the same thing. In our big surprise, they dont want to give us extra plates and cups for our drinks even though we told them that its our usual order. They insisted not to give us. We are so pissed, we ate in the tray with the napkins tissue that they gave. Every time we visit there, after we ate we order another family meal for take out since we drive from Montreal Qc because we dont have popeyes restaurants here, but that time we didnt order for take out because of the service and attitudes that they showed to us. We like to eat there at least once a month but never again after that experience. Kid-friendliness: They did not give extra cups even for the kids for drinks.

Good service

I have loved going to Popeyes but lately the chicken pieces are so small. The drum sticks are more to the size of a wing drum stick. I will consider not going back as I feel it is not getting my moneys worth.

No ketchup or sauces (they didn t even wanted to give any other sauce for free) and served me small chicken leg. I had to use my chick-fil-a sauce instead.

No issues with the food, however we could not find a cleaned table to sit at.

Didnt get our fries and didnt notice until we got home. Didnt get a drink and they were not accommodating to an elderly disabled man while we were there.

Popeyes at this location is lit . I generally visit this place in the evening after work and the people working there always greet me with positive smile and enthusiasm. Always get my order quickly done.

Service is slow here and the girls are very difficult to understand. We waited 30 minutes for our mobile order that was actually ready the whole time but apparently we missed when the girl asked is there anyone here for mobile order , as we didn t understand what she said, and we had the same issue when we inquired about our order, very difficult to understand and not friendly service. Definitely considering a different chicken fast food restaurant in the future.

I thought it would be the same as the Popeyes we eat in the States, but this location was horrible. The chicken wasnt cooked well. Very disappointed. #BadFood #PopeyesFail

Im only giving one star because I cant give zero. The place is unclean. The service is complete garbage. They dont understand half of what you ask them. The employees barely speak any English and are always conversing in their own language. The employees have zero customer service skills. The employees are never friendly or inviting. They never smile. The portions are abysmal. The food is subpar. 0 stars.

Ghost pepper wings is not spicy at all, at the very beginning, the taste was very good, started from last year, it became worse and worse. why you save peppers to make it unspicy at all ? Just can t understand

I m keeping this short. We placed an order through the app to pick up. Took an over 25 minutes to get our food even though it was placed ahead Our biscuits were dr. I got the chicken strips they were soggy my friend got the chicken nuggets there dry and oil burnt. We wanted to exchange one of our sauces so instead they just decided no sauce. You can barely understand what they re saying and communication hard to do with the staff when you try to converse they speak to each other in their native language. Im done I won t be back

Ordered pickup for 9pm did not receive until 9:20 due to not having a dedicated pickup line and having to wait in line with everyone else. Ordered wings, and for the second time was given boneless bites with no explanation. The drink station was filthy with spilled liquids all over the counter, food and garbage on tables and on the floor with nobody cleaning up. Stains on the wall. This location has gone downhill since opening.

I recently visited the Popeyes in Cornwall and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambience of the restaurant is top-notch clean, well-lit, and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The evening staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They were not only polite but also went out of their way to be helpful, ensuring that my order was exactly as I wanted it. It s rare to find such a combination of good food and excellent service, but Popeyes in Cornwall has managed to nail it. Highly recommended!

Came in at 2:40pm on July 5. The staff was unfriendly, I could barely understand them. The chicken was dry and unappealing. My fries were thrown in the chicken box without any care for correct portion or presentation. Wont be coming back to this location.

I loved going to Popeyes. Their food is great but their service and atmosphere has been declining and tonight was terrible. We ordered they said it would be at least 20 minute wait for chicken so okay whatever..it happens. The staff at the counter do not have patience when asked about the sides and or the menu. They still have that stupid plexiglass and with the noise from the kitchen we and the staff were putting our heads on the other side of the plexi because we couldnt hear. We take a seat..had to move to 3 different tables as they were all broken. Luckily we eventually get a booth. The music in there was so loud we could barely talk and when staff is shouting out order numbers you of course cannot hear them. I have always enjoyed eating there but think this may be the last time. Also no one out cleaning tables at all. Not impressed.

I placed an order online upon my arrival. The order was still being prepared after the app mentioned it would be ready by 8:18. It took about another 20 minutes for the order to be packed. There were barely any fries, and the staff were unpleasant to deal with.

The worst Popeyes you can ever go. Portion are so small and there are barely chicken !!! Very disappointing, I had to tell the staff that those small pieces doesn t count as one piece, very cheap restaurant. I will never go there from Montreal. Id rather travel an hour extra to Ottawa to get better quality and service. What a waste of money and time I do not recommend it.

The chicken was small, no meat. I guess they learn from KFC. Also it was salty. Are they doing their own or following the reciepes. Such a waste of the opportunity. Came all the way from Montreal for nothing.

The store close at 11pm and there was a worker cleaning at 9.30 and people were sitting there eating Dont Care About Four the People Eating There this is very bad i think i am also inform in the city food department.

Out of chicken breasts when the only meat you sell is chicken? Really? So we get Tenders and they are half cooked. Gross!!! I call and get nothing but attitude . Apparently, they re not allowed to give out phone numbers for complaints, but that s OK. Lol. This place is a dump and I d rather eat off the sidewalk then eat there again.

Presentation and layout: The place overall was quite clean and organized, with a good amount of seating for groups and a refill friendly soda machine. Service: The service is very kind and friendly. They ask how your day is going, and make sure to get your order correct and out to you in a timely fashion. The items themselves are VERY well packed. No loose or spilled items to be found even on a larger order. Prices: feeding two people came to 27.50. A very reasonable price for the chicken and sides Menu: their menu overall is very large and diverse, featuring significant seafood options was definitely nice to see. Overall Popeyes is a great value and an overall enjoyable experience, I will be returning.

Customer service 0! We were 4 people and each of us were missing something from our order. The employee especially the women were giving us attitude. Was not worth the trip. worst popeyes i ve ever eaten. I currently live in Texas right on the border of Louisiana n this is absolutely not real popeyes. far cry from real southern popeyes. plus you have to pay extra for a biscuit. that should be standard in the box. just wow. can t believe y all like this in cornwall.

It is a nice chicken and my family s favorite place to go. The only thing I dont like is when they trick you by giving most legs part on your order. Its very annoying and I even warned them before I ordered about not too much legs and still they hide it. I ordered 16pcs of chicken and this is what I get when I got home. Very disappointed! I hope the management will pay attention on this.

It s 100+ km from Montreal but worth every km. If you are willing to hit the road for some of the best halal Fried chicken you will ever taste, make the trip to Popeys Cornwall, your taste buds will thank Food

Honestly its amazing how different this chicken is from KFC, and by that I mean night and day. Popeyes is by far superior and its an honest shame that they are not in Quebec. My husband and I have driven over an hour just for their chicken, and I know others who have done the same. The only thing I would have to say is that the mac and cheese is let down, everything else they make is very good though.

Where to begin? From the people taking the orders with automaton-like coldness to the incredibly greasy, flavourless and fatty chicken, I was left thoroughly unimpressed and regretting having driven from Montreal for this. And the sides? The red beans and rice tasted like Uncle Bens parboiled rice with a few beans thrown in. Flavourless. The Mac & Cheese was equally bland. Kraft Dinner tastes way better. The biscuit was actually the only part of the meal I found decent. The premises were cheap looking and cafeteria-like. Im shocked that people actually rave about this.

The food was excellent! The wrap had a big portion of chicken and the chicken was amazing. The classic Chicken sandwich was excellent as well. We had two fry sides and they were seasoned perfectly. We used a coupon online as part of the deals and the staff exchanged a classic Chicken sandwich for a blackened chicken sandwich. We will definitely be back!

The sandwich is good, but the other things you feel some of bad smell in the food especially with bones
