I've been here a few times as I live close by, and everything has been good so far, however today I made the mistake of ordering 2 all dressed cheese dogs, I say mistake because I found myself struggling not to go back an hour later for 9 more. As a large, straight male, I can honestly say I've never wanted to shove a weiner in my mouth more than I do now, as a hotdog fan, I can honestly say most places drop the ball when it comes to the hotdog, often opting to serve up a larger tasteless dog, on a cold bun, with crap toppings, well not here my fellow hotdog fans, these hotdogs were cooked to perfection, carefully wrapped in a warm fresh roll, and topped with what can only be described as the perfect collection of hotdog toppings and finished with a beautiful coleslaw that takes the entire masterpiece to a whole, notha, level! Until today I was of the opinion you had to go to Quebec for a perfect dog, come to find out you can simply wander on over to Seguins Patate to enjoy the perfect dog, unfortunately I am only here in Cornwall for a short time, that said I have every intention of enjoying as many top notch cheese weiners possible until my departure. I should point out every single time I have headed over the service has always been with a smile, and welcoming attitude, they did not judge as I stood there salivating at the menu, not once did they yell "get out of here till ya know what ya want sausage lover" like the angry hotdog cart guy I won't mention, Jimmy... I will end with this, if you are a fellow hotdog afficionado, tired of having questionable meat served on a bun under the guise of "hotdog" stop trowing your money away on lesser quality hotdogs and come here, I assure you, you will be thrilled with the quality, and service, keep up the good work and I'll be back, probably tomorrow! Not Quebec style poutine, but absolutely the best version we’ve tried in Cornwall. We ordered the Fric Fries extra crispy as recommended by our amazing server and they did not disappoint! They were crispy, covered in loads of cheese, and topped with a generous portion of juicy hamburger meat. Extremely indulgent, so wear stretchy pants and dig in!
If you're looking for a company to host a well-run BBQ event - look no further! Yesterday, we had Jay and Reilly from Séguin Patate host a Driver Appreciation BBQ and they were excellent! Courteous, accommodating, organized and THE BEST FRIES. It was just perfect! The team thoroughly enjoyed their meal and it was worry-free from the planning side. Thanks again, guys!

Got cheese burger and a small fries not good at all. The fries were old and cold the burgers were ok but not hot. I live 2 minutes away and the fries should have been hot they were not, they tasted like they were sitting under the heated lamp to keep warm. Never will I go back very disappointed
Fries were the perfect consistency, slightly sweet, with lots of skin on. The gravy was really tasty, just the hint of ginger that makes poutine sauce so good. And the cheese! What else to say. This got me through an eight hour drive from Toronto to Vermont. Brava.
If you're thinking of stopping here for poutine on a road trip, KEEP DRIVING! We drive by Cornwall frequently and decided to stop by on quiet Friday afternoon based on reviews here. It was extremely disappointing to find that despite it being quiet, my fries were stale-tasting, old and **cold**. Not to mention bland and soft like mashed potatoes instead of crispy fries. The gravy was COLD and chunky. The cheese curds were flavorless and hard to even find under all the gravy. Cheap. Overall tasted bad and I'm not very hard to please. I feel awful for the Cornwall residents rating this place as the best poutine when Quebec is so close. Pretty shocking since pretty much all they do is make fries. You had one job. Do not recommend. Save your $10 for a poutine.
St. Albert Curds, good gravy and good enough fries to stand out. Nothing super fancy, but enough menu options to keep frequent visitors entertained. Valid place to go in Cornwall if you're stopping through and have never tried poutine, not to say its the only one :)
Limited seating available outside. Unfortunately, they close during winter. The food is extremely good. Service is quick. There is no eating in as this is a food trailer. Parking: Limited parking in front of food trailer. There is a strip mall located close by where you could also park.

We have been going to Seguin patate for years but we went yesterday after a long day and ordered a large order of fries and gravy ...when we got home and opened the bag the fries were totally burnt all of them not just a few....terrible terrible fries the taste was aweful...

I went at not a busy time, order 4 hot dogs and they had a napkin over top the bottom 2 with the other 2 on top of the napkin, so you can well imagine the site on the bottom 2! I order a fry and a poutine, cost me $4 extra for the poutine that I didnt get! I should have checked after they didnt give me my drinks and had to ask for them but the dogs were at the top of the bag and they were already a mess without taking everything out to check, cost me close to $40, and the fries were terrible for a chip stand, never again, I like to support local but its a hard no to return to this place.
Awesome fries and the coleslaw on the hotdogs is the best I have had in a long time. Will definitely return a few more times this summer.

Best attitude for staff at any restaurant in Cornwall. Its so nice to see the employees having fun, joking with customers. Oh did I mention the food is Fire ... Really good summer food!

I ordered the bacon cheese burger all dressed . It was delicious no complaints. I also ordered an Italian poutine the fries where good the only complaint would be the sauce it could have been a meatier sauce. I also order a small fry for my Dad who loved it.
I went to Seguin on Sunday April 7th I order burgers and hotdogs for kids those were great and also got 2 small poutines I asked for fries well done the fries were not well done I had cold fires and cold gravy
I had poutine from here last year and wasn t the biggest fan but last week I was craving a good chip truck poutine and Seguin Patate was open so I decided to try it again. I don t know what changed since last year but the poutine I had was amazing, a solid 9/10. I was very impressed with how kind the employees were and how quick my lunch was ready, even though it was very busy. I ve been craving their poutine since and will probably make this my go to spot to get poutine.
Top 3 chip trucks in town!
Although they have a limited menu, the food is good. Only a few minutes wait Parking: Approx. 5-6 parking spots. But since they re quick to serve customers people are always in and out.

Definitely one of the better chip trucks in town. Ive been going there a lot this year and have really enjoyed it every time. The Danny Burger is to die for try a fric fry too. Seguin Patate has had its ups and downs, over the years. For the most patr, one thing that is a constant, is great fries and good burgers at a very reasonable price. The current staff are awesome and are extremely competent under pressure. Kudos to the team, and keep up the great work!

Foods always served quick. Great price and always a friendly staff. Deep fried curds are the best Parking: 5 spots in front. Able to park in Freshco lot or across street. Kid-friendliness: Tables with shade on side. Ice cream wagon beside chip stand. Wheelchair accessibility: Slight incline on parking lot. No steps and order window is low with counter. Plenty of room to move.
I havent had Seguin Patate since they used to have the mobile trucks in town. I decided to stop today for the Boom burger and a poutine. Dont order the burger based on the advertising cause well its just not like that. But flavour wise it was a damn delicious burger. I will also say their fries are unlike any other chipstands fries. Not quite my style, Im a hollow crispy type fry guy, but the poutine was still delicious to the last bite. I did leave without getting my pepsi. But all in all, I would still go back. Greatness can only come with improvement.
Best chip stand in town, hands down. Ask for a triple Boom Burger if you want to experience the best Boom possible. Parking: If possible try to back in as its quite blind backing out of your spot, its a very busy location.

First experience was ultimately heart warming! We dont often order from these restaurant but this one got my heart!! We had a smoke meat sammich and it was delightfull! And their poutine i give it a big 4.5* simply because i am not a huge fan of big fries but the gravy is delicious and the cheese was fresh and squicky! Worth my $$ and makes me feel like 5$ would of been a better tip than the 3 i left! Will come back for sure!

How do we say its a very good potato patch the people are smiling and welcoming generous quantity the only downsides are that there is not much room to eat outside and parking is not easy either good appetite.

We ordered the Large Popcorn Chicken Poutine, the Dany Burger and a hot-dog. It was everything I dreamed about a cantine. Staff super kind and delicious food. I usually take photos but this time, I gulped the whole thing in a blink of an eye.

When the name of your business include the word Fries you expect to receive fresh cold cuts what a disappointment to see the clerk pouring a bag of frozen potato in the deep fryer that was the first turn off sign . I ordered the poutine small size which was not bad of the greavy taste, cheese curds were not bad but still disappointed about the fries... I also order a cheeseburger with bacon and it was overfilled with condiments ... like the clerk inside doesnt understand that you dont have to wet and soak the burger to make it alldress.. Beef was over cook and dry what the put pre-cook bacon like 15seconds microwave maple leaf bacon in the box!!! My recommendation is to go with fresh cold cuts Russet or Yukon Gold . For burgers Go with the ratio 70% meat and 30% fat. After all remember your customer dont come for the diet aspect. And please cook real bacon !!! . Add some love and some taste to your food!!! All this cost me 14.00$ with a can of coca cola which didnt disappoint me because Coca-Cola always taste Coca-Cola expectation always meet ! Good luck in your restructuration and survival!

whats to say, the place is small and borded up currently as its fall which is odd but ok, the place is small and in a really weird spot beside some hair dressing shop that no one goes to cause its literally a house, the poutine is really good i love the gravy and love the curds, the burgers are so well done but a little overboard on the toppings. over all i really like this place and i dont have any real issues only taking a star off for location
