The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The food is always fresh, tasty, and a great value.
Food was good, ambiance was terrible. They definitely need a woman’s touch to make the place more inviting. It felt like I was dining in a run-down factory. A refrigerated case was making an extremely loud sound and all the tables were dirty. If you’re coming for halal meat, be advised that they are shutting down the grocery section and turning the place into a restaurant. Hopefully they’ll keep the chef but change everything else.
Ordered lamb shank today, it was my first time here and I was really impressed with the quality and taste. Definitely a great place to try!
We had the butter chicken pizza for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it. This is our new favourite pizza with chicken. The pepperoni pizza and wings were also great (The buffalo wing sauce has a different flavour so I recommend getting it on the side to be safe). We fed a family of 6 for $45 thanks to the amazing specials.
Shah's is our family's favourite place to order wings. The Buffalo hot and hot flavours are so good! They had a great deal today only, $15 for 30 wings and they were perfect. We will continue to go back as the customer service is always great and the food is amazing!
So, I’ve been seeing a lot of the reviews here, and a lot of them are very mid. But I find it a bit annoying you call all the 1 star reviews fake, because the people edit their reviews and say that it isn’t fake, I don’t think they would do that if they r competing with you. Like yes, I agree some reviews in this are fake like the one that they said there was a lady, which I’ve never seen a lady before but that’s whatever.. And some of the responses to their reviews are honestly in my opinion, unprofessional. but I’m going to talk about what I think about Shah’s. So I haven’t had any of the cultural food before, (like the afghani, Pakistani etc food) but I’ve had the burger, fries, and chicken wings, so first let’s start off with the burger, burger is pretty much okay, tastes like a burger but you know what’s good about it? It’s halal. Next is Fries, not my favourite. It’s good sometimes but sometimes it’s not, my opinion tho. It’s okay. and lastly is chicken wings, very good, I love the sauce. Also I forgot but I’ve had the rice and I think chicken before, my daughter had some at her school but didn’t want to finish it so she gave it to me? But for me it was okay but kind of good, it’s just plain, not bad, not amazing. Some times the food comes very late, like I remember shah was doing hot lunch with my daughters school and it came at like 2, when it was suppose to come at 12. And my daughter said there was only 2 people in class who ordered it, (including her self). But I understand that shah is very busy. But the service is good all the workers are very nice! So my overall rating is a 3/5. It’s okay!
We order often from Shah's Halal Grill and Grocery. Everything is delicious and the quality of the Halal meat is excellent! We have eaten their excellent pizzas, and their fried chicken is better than any other in town. We finally ordered the butter chicken meal deal and the beef korma meal deal this past weekend. They were a great choice! Sumptuous! We should have tried them sooner! So delicious! This is our Family's favorite restaurant. There is something for every taste and the prices are reasonable. The grocery store is clean and full of great selections and the customer service is friendly and helpful.
I don't usually post reviews. We started ordering from shah's about a year ago and we're super impressed with their wings. However they have gotten significantly smaller each time we order. The wing on the left was the biggest one, the others were not even a bite. Very disappointed.

We had 20 honey hot wings and a small meat lover pizza wings were excellent, just wish there was more sauce on the pizza.

Awesome food. Everything we have here is good. This is not fast food. This is quality stuff. Call ahead or be prepared to wait for an order. The meat used for prepared meals is cut in house as this is also a grocery store. The steak platter for 2 is an unbelievable value.

Afghan food is the best food in all over the world but this restaurant make it look bad. We were there today ordered rice, chicken and qhorma but I can definitely say it was wast of my money. The rice was from morning plus they didn t even warm it. Cold chicken and smiley qhorma. I don t recommend this place to anyone.

Tried the butter chicken and meat lovers pizza, with wings. Huge portions and very tasty. Restaurant is inside a grocery store that also has a butchers counter.

The butter chicken pizza is to die for! Everything Ive had here has been delicious from the wings to the curry and fresh naan. Some of the best pizza crust around I must say.

YOU have to go! It s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The food is absolutely amazing. The owner is crazy about every detail, spice and service of the food they prepare. If you are a meat lover, you should try grilled meat skewers, especially filet mignon kebob, which is served with chutney sauce. I learned that it was their signature sauce which is a perfect choice of spices and meat. Prices are really good as of 2022.

Great Resturant, friendly staff. You can buy halal products here. The food is amazing. I ve never tried Afghan food but for sure now i am a fan.
OMG the food is so yummy and the people are too nice. Do yourself a favour and try their lamb plate. Also their wings are BIG.

In town for a few days and found this place, bought a pizza with beef bacon and it was delicious , would definitely recommend and go back to try some of the other items on his menu.

Ma Sha Allah, great place to shop halal products, food and meat! The manager is awesome (he speaks French as well!) and his spouse and son are great people too! I would recommend their pocket sandwich with filet mignon! ;)

You HAVE to try their Butter Chicken Pizza !!!! Non-greasy with lots of cheese and flavor. Amazing food and amazing service. Will be heading back there tomorrow. Great to have hand slaughter halal food.
We really enjoyed the good food and the prices are very interesting. As muslims, its a blessing to be able to eat good halal food instead of vegetarian pizzas elsewhere. We ordered lamb shank, chicken kebobs and pizza for the kids, and it was really delicious.

I found it really very distressing that the prices are far from affordable, since confinement the dishes are not well cooked or too salty, the service is very long the time to wait Is really too long, the portions are reduced with regard to dishes and orders, the tables and places are not clean you can no longer enjoy eating like at the very beginning of its opening where the services were much better than present. Edit post-reply of Shahs: This isnt a fake review at all! Pictures came from MY own cellphone and MY honest review. Many people who frequent this place will tell you :) I have the right to dislike your place and menu like everyone else, not everything is perfect...so is your restaurant that sells overpriced dishes with extremely long-time wait.... For customers info, I did ask for a manager at that time of my visit and the issue wasnt resolved..so on top of that, poor customer service!
I came with my family and we tried the pizza, wings, kabobs and steak dinners. Mr. Shah was very hospitable and welcoming. We will be back to this establishment regularly. Five Stars!
First time visiting. Dishes are very overpriced compared to better places. On top of that, had to wait for almost an hour to receive my food and patty of my burger wasnt fully cooked and fries were extremly greasy (as if they didnt even let the oil drain). After my complaint, he told me that he didnt have time to deal with my issue and that everyone else gets the same thing and no one has ever complained the way I did. Was very nice and respectful about it but after this poorly customer service will not go back again, it was a try :) Update: after looking at other reviews from this restaurant, it seems as if he only answers the bad one and says all of them are fake...I am just making a fact about my own experience. Not everything has to be perfect in life, I didnt like my experience but maybe others do and good for them ! But I think its important to let people know that some customers gets very poor customer service, spread some awareness...it isnt normal to be called fake ...what so ever Ill never go back especially after the response I have gotten wich was the EXACT SAME attitude I got when I complained to him verbally...big shame for him

I dont even know where to begin.....I usually go to winghouse for my wings. (I do love them) But Ive seen over time reviews about Shahs wings, so I figured Id give them a try. Ummmm, hello people...if you havent tried wings from this place, you ARE MISSING OUT!! Hands down the best wings Ive EVER had, anywhere....they are huge, juicy, crispy...just utter perfection. I was in heaven, literally almost crying at how beautiful these wings were Anyways if you havent tried the wings here, do yourself a favor and dont wait much longer before ordering some, thank me later And the picture doesnt do them justice whatsoever

Amazing experience! Went to this restaurant twice and both experiences were phenomenal. Never had such good food at a place that offers hand slaughtered meats. Very clean and overall fair prices. I will definitely visit again and recommend anyone else do the same.
We had the half grilled chicken, it was hot fresh moist plump and delicious, the cold slaw was also very good and the French fries had a dusting of seasoning on them that served to keep them crispy even after being brought home in a takeout order. The only problem was the prices did not match the menu prices on line, almost everything seamed to be two to five dollars more than the paper menu prices were (which I picked up when I went in to pick up my food.) Despite this, I was pleased to be able to pick up a few items I could not find while shopping just minutes earlier at Fresco for such a reasonable price. So even though I ended up paying a little more for my food than I anticipated, I still came out ahead of the game. Not only did I have a delicious meal and got extra grocery items that I needed at less than 75% of the price of the big store price I saved on time and gas in the process. If they correct theirr on line menu prices I would be happy to give them a well deserved 5 star rating. Did I mention the very friendly service. Thank you Shahs, I will definitely be back to try out more of your dishes!

Took a trip from Ottawa to Cornwall on our motorcycles. And decided to stop here for some food. Wow it was so good. My wife got the beef wrap and I got the beef platter. It was top notch!

Food was delicious and prepared fresh. Ordered 15 wings and Chicken Kabab combo. (I asked for a plain salad with dressing) Wings were the best Ive had in town. You could taste the freshness in all the ingredients. The only negative thing I can say is thay I found a small bone in my kabob, but it does happen and I wasnt worried. Will definitely be going back and trying more menu items.

We happened in today, quite by accident and were pleasantly surprised, to say the least. We browsed the groceries for some time (which were very reasonably priced) before deciding to have something to eat. The food was amazing! Im not exaggerating when I say my burger was by far the best burger Ive ever eaten in almost 49 years on this planet! The service was also very good. We will definitely be back!

I was here the other day talking to one of the owners. It was my 1st time here and was amazed at the prices for their foods. I cant wait to go back and buy more. Living in Cornwall is starting to have the perks I was used to in multicultural Montreal where your imagination goes wild thinking of what to create in your own kitchen for yourself and family. I visited from California with my two kids. I am impressed with the effort put in by the owner in this neat and clean restaurant. Shah, the owner is really sincere, empathetic, and perfect beyond words and more often he cooked with pure Heart. It is no doubt a great place to dine and grocery. I stayed in Cornwall for about four days and visited this place several times. Every time i went there Food was awesome, I took kebob rice and wings while my kids enjoyed Pizza and burgers. I highly recommend this place. It is definitely great addition to a small town, such a brand new renovated, ample space for dining and perfectly maintained with delicious meal for all ages and taste. To be honest, i miss this kind of restaurant in my home town Orange county.
