Our visit was delightful, and we quickly discovered some standout dishes. The macaroni pie was a comforting, cheesy delight, while the jerked chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The jerked salmon was equally impressive, offering a succulent bite infused with that signature flavor. The great sauces served alongside the dishes added depth and a delightful mix of flavors that truly showcased the essence of Jamaican cuisine. And we can't forget the black cake, a rich, moist, and very dense dessert that was the perfect ending to our meal. One of the highlights of our dining experience was the hibiscus drink. Without a doubt, it was the best hibiscus drink I've ever had—refreshing and vibrant.
Hidden gems! Food was good; flavourful and well balance spices. One of the best 👌, top 3 in Montreal, I would say. I will return to order some more dishes.
I heard of this restaurant on Instagram and decided to make the trip to Montreal to give it a try. While I haven’t had the chance to sample their dinner menu, I must say their breakfast options are outstanding. The wait time for service was a bit longer than expected, which might be due to occasional staffing shortages. As for the food: The peanut porridge was a perfect 10/10. The ackee and saltfish with boiled dumplings were also a 10/10. One standout item was the ackee and saltfish eggroll, a unique twist I hadn't tried before. It was incredibly flavorful and my personal favorite. Given that each order includes only three eggrolls, you may want to consider ordering a second set! I also tried their sorrel, which was perfectly made, especially to my taste buds, not too sweet, not too bitter, with a nice hint of ginger. Since my first visit, I’ve returned twice, and I look forward to exploring their dinner menu soon.
Best jamaicain food in the city authentic and very nice atmosphere i ordered the salty fish and jerk chicken and it was amazing just the right amount of spice not too spicy
Bought a jerk chicken food was ok. But when I bit into the chicken it tasted dry and old like it was from the day before. So I ask one of the pets was it cook today he said yes with an attitude. I am Caribbean and I know when the chicken is good or old because I know how it taste. Anyway just so you know. Management doesn’t even care when asked. Rice was ok and the other stuff but chicken was dry and tasted off
It was my first time trying Jamaican breakfast, and I loved it! I will definitely come back to try the lunch menus 🇯🇲
I’m a bit mixed about this place. First of all the service is amazing the owner is very lucky to have amazing employees like this. They are very kind and helpful . Now my honest opinion on the food. The jerk chicken plate was small for the price. The chicken was excellent but the rest of the plate the rice the Mac pie and vegetables were quite bland. Really disappointing. The chicken roti was the smallest roti I’ve ever gotten from any restaurant I’ve ever had and h the the price for the roti and the quantity of stuff in it was ridiculous. The famous lobster soup was not as good as I thought or hoped it would be it was bland but I do appreciate that they use real lobster in it . I am on the fence if I will return to this place for Jamaican Caribbean food because there are many other much better and more bang for ur buck places in Montreal. I do recommend the jerk chicken in itself was awesome
I had the opportunity to try out this amazing Jamaican place in the heart of Cote St Luc and the food was absolutely delicious! The jerk chicken was spiced just right and super tender and the oxtail fell off the bone. We also tried the macaroni pie and it was amazing!
Amazing place. Amazing staff. Always a place I bring friends. For great West Indian food. My parents love this place too.
So pleasant, friendly, and DELICIOUS
So I m fairly new to Montreal and having lived in Toronto, it s very easy to find an authentic Jamaican spot. I had a friend mention that he knew a really good Jamaican spot and I didn t believe him until he forced me here. I ve been here twice in the span of a week. Their food tastes authentic and you get so much food for the price. The first time I was there I go their Jerk Chicken meal, with Ackee and Saltfish Egg Rolls and a cup of Sorrel. Second time got the Fried Chicken Meal, with Ackee and Saltfish Egg Rolls and a Ting. While we waited the second time, they offered us a sample of their soup. It tasted like my mom s soup, I was so happy. Next time I go, I ll probably order that. All in all, it s far from where I live but don t mind making the trek and the people inside are very nice. You won t regret it. One more thing to add - Give me a bigger slice of that Mac & Cheese next time, please lol Parking: Parking lot fills up fast depending on the time but you ll find a spot.
To avoid not good and too long service
Good tasting food.
I was happy with the size of my breakfast. For the $18.15 I dont felt it was worth it.
Clean and very pleasant customer service with Jillian. Food is always on point. I will continue to support.
Rotis ate to small be a bit more generous...
Even though its far from home, I forget about the journey when I take a bite of this delicious Jamaican cuisine. Best spot to eat a good portion of jerk chicken!
Very friendly staff , the gentleman up front event gave me extra rice n chicken food was very tasty
LOVE LOVE LOVE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM TERREBONNE FOR THIS DEFINITELY AMAZING Vegetarian options: So delicious Parking: Always available spots Kid-friendliness: They are so welcoming with the kids
dry chicken. not as flavorful as other places iv tried. no white meat. defintly subpar. gave it multiple chances. not impressed.
I was so excited to try this place because the West Indian food scene in Montreal has really gone down and the reviews for this place were promising . However I wouldn t even classify it as Jamaican or West Indian food . Don t get me wrong the food was very flavourful but not the flavour it should be . The oxtail was more like a peppered steak Sort of flavour and the jerk chicken was more just a spicy chicken but not that jerk flavour . I was disappointed as it was not what I was looking for flavour wise at all .
The service is worth the wait, calming atmosphere
I tried their goat roti, it was really really good. Tender meat and seasoned well, defintely slowly cooked for hours. I havent tried anything else on the menu but Id like to go back soon. The only thing was the macaroni pie (mac & cheese) can definitely be improved. Apart from that I enjoyed the goat and the service.
On a delievery , l got cold ox- tail and the bag it came in was leaking...the only good thing that tasted good was the veg,s...2nd time l ordered ...first time was great.
Came from Toronto to spend some time with my husband daughter and she Search and found this place for us to enjoy some real yard food. Was not disappointed, food tun up, season up and taste real good. The best since my 2 1/2 years in Canada, wish it nearby us in Scarborough. Keep the flag flying high boss, you did us proud. And dont forget to try out the bagels, we got stuck in try for over 4 hours and we did get into them.Bless up my brother. Will certainly stop by when next in Montreal. Blessings from the sister who had the the steam snapper with Crackers and okra. All the best from a real Jamaican to excellent roll model of our beloved island Jamaica

If you re looking for some Jamaican food fix and a quick grab look no further. They have a special 2 for 1 on their website (ONLY WEBSITE). We were pretty surprised how filling and generously portioned it was. Reasonable price and yummy filling appetite.
This is probably the best Jamaican spot in Quebec!!! You can get an excellent and appetizing meal and then get some bagels for home. I really suggest getting some fresh patties or frozen to take home. Really suggest this spot

This is in my top 3 for jerk and number 1 for sauce!! Amazing food. I had the jerk and fried chicken that was amazing beats some Toronto places too! Potato salad was 5 star amazing flavor. Had the homemade lemonade that was top notch too. Everything that comes out of this place is gold. Well worth price.
The jerk chicken is to die for. That SAUCE is life.
Wagwan! Delicious Jamaican / Caribbean food. Complements to the chef
Great food with amazing service! Can t get better than this place. Must try!
Food is bland like no other. No taste and oily . I got the oxtails. First time I ordered and i was disappointed . It s overhyped on TikTok. I wouldn t call this Jamaican food. Y all need to add flavour to your dishes & less oil if you trying to keep your business open.
I loved the fried chicken lol, I love KFC but this one is another story

We ordered and left with our pickup - so good and fresh. Fried chicken, oxtail and goat curry, pumpkin soup, Jamaican Sorrel drink, all yummy. Next time I m picking up the mac&cheese, the small piece in our plate was not enough. It s our new favorite Jamaican restaurant !
Good service and very clean. Ox tail, curried goat and jerk chicken plates are delicious and good size. Very good tasting chicken roti, but just too small. Ill definitely recommend this place.

I am a real yardie. Unfortunately you have some people pretending to be Jamaican cook. I am very disappointed with this restaurant. I paid for Curry Goat and they served me Curry Stew Beef. Or as the manager called.it boneless curry goat. They could fool some people but not de real yardie.
