My go-to meal for chicken burger! Juicy and crunchy!

Cant rate the food, couldnt get anyone to serve us at the counter. Midweek, 11:30 am, not a soul inside. One worker loitering at the drive through, one employee looking like a manager in a corner playing phone. Chef twiddling thumbs. Waited over 5 minutes, then walked out. Never again.

Visited today for lunch. Food was great. Staff was excellent. Will come back for more.

I will not be returning. I had to leave without ordering. Second time this has happened. Only one other person in the entire restaurant. The employees were so busy with online orders. No eye contact, didnt speak to me, I was there for a long time. Nothing. No communication at all.

They serves fresh chicken always. Never disappointed by food neither the staff. Keep up the great work

The sandwich was okay, a little on the small side. The French fries were okay, but a very small serving. As for the coleslaw the container was half full.

Have had Popeyes several times since they opened and it has been good. This time however have been feeling nauseous and stomach cramps for 2 days. Ordered a 20 piece family meal, wary of going back now

Mostly I visit here with my friends and the food served here is lavish.service is too good they dont make me to wait for.

Had an amazing dinner at Popeyes! The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service, making the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend it! The manager on duty made our visit one of the best experiences we ve recently had at a dine in.

I have come here twice, both times my food has been excellent and its literally empty. My food was hot, correct and actually really good. The gravy is amazing and I will 100% be returning. Nice job Popeyes Kid-friendliness: Im sure that is great for kids

This is the last time I am wasting my money at this location. Ice Cold fries, wilted lettuce, saddest tomato slice Ive ever seen. Absolutely disgusting

We had bought a variety of different items wings which were excellent strips popcorn chicken all were excellent. We were leary about order from Popeyes as we had tried the chicken at the Nanaimo location and had awful experience. Courtenay location had great helpful staff and food was great! Give it a try.

1st time I tried it got pretty sick. Had stomach ache and nausea all night. Bought extra for left-overs, ended up throwing all of it out. Waste of money!

Super unorganized service. If you order online, they dont pack your order until you show up. When you come for your order they could give a walk in customer the last of pieces or chicken and make you wait 15, 20 or even 30 minutes for the next batch. They also give priority to deliver drivers.

It was one busy Sunday afternoon, the line up was expected as it was Mothers day! Obviously many love their chicken (i mean who wouldnt?). I waited for a bit for my order as the crew was taking too many orders both from drive thru and inside the store but it was all worth the wait as the manager was able to handle the line up very well making sure we know how long we are expecting our food. With that great number of orders i thought they needed 4 extra heads to handle it as i had time to observe from the back comfortably waiting for my order to be served.

when i took a bit of my chicken burger, the whole inside was raw. They gave me a new one, which also turned out to be raw again.

Guy taking my order does not seem to comprehend the English language. Overcharged me, wings were too small and it was too late for me to return them as it was a take away order.

Food was served cold and chicken was smelly. Over the time I did come across a lot of negative reviews about this place and it is right. While I was scrolling through the review section general manager has added a review himself (AM). People come here with a lot of expectations and it s high time that the people here should take this seriously.

Decided I wanted a couple of sides, mashed with gravy & a biscuit. Not sure what the potatoes are actually made from ... flakes maybe? Gravy is ok, biscuit is a biscuit, my biggest complaint ... 3 cars in front of me in drive-thru and it took over 15 min to get my order. They always seem to be out of something or they dont have any ready, fast food but not fast.

The food was stone cold and I m complaining the general manager, he has very rude. Popeyes is a very reputed food joint, and should give classes to their management in order to save their reputation. Never visiting this location again! Not recommending it at all!

Its the third time i have been missing the sides with my order. They Need to work on efficiency

On my visit to the restaurant, I was so eager because of the good reputation of Popeyes, but this wasnt the case and changed my mind completely. The food I ordered was stale and smelly. It wasnt even fresh, and on reporting the management about the same, no action was taken! Very poor staff management and authority! NOT RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

The chicken was good. The gravy was awesome. I bought some ghost pepper wings to take home. They were a disappointment, hardly any spice.

Service is always top notch when we visit and the food is usually pretty good too. We noticed the fountain drinks taste more like soda water than soda lately and the gravy has been a little too salty in the past. This location is still one of our favourite drive thrus to drive thru, when we are visiting.

First time trying Popeyes. This location was very clean, and they had wonderful and friendly staff. The food was crispy and fresh. Overall, it was a great and tasty experience!

I have been there a couple of times and I had the ghost pepper chicken with fries combo and I found it delicious. I am glad that I went there and I will return.

Second time there and second time having the wrong order. They don t seem keen when you double check that everything is there. And you d think they d get it right as it takes around 20 mins to get your food, even when ordering ahead on the app. It seems they don t start making the app orders until they ask you why you re standing there. Foods either cold, soggy or over cooked or some combination of the above. I d say three strikes and you re out but this place only gets 2 strikes.

Worst experience ever .I been there some time .They always take too much time some time for single item have to wait for 30 to 45 min .For first few visits I understand they are new but still they are taking too much time to prepare one order .Annoying and it happens all the time dinner and lunch .

We recently ordered meals and , chicken tender from here. Delivery was before the estimated time.. food was pretty warm. Burger size was good and quite filling. I love their coleslaw salad.. its super yummy .. their chicken tenders were very juicy and super crunchy .. best part of the meal was fries.. i dont know what they add or how they do it.. they are soooo good.. i mean really good the best in all foodchain. Their hospitality is really awesome. Ive met the manager George, he is just amazing, I admired how he treats the customers and his coworkers . He is really an amazing man.

Tried the Ltd. fish sandwich. It was good. Service, I pre-ordered from their APP and still had a 10 minute wait for food.

Good chicken... everything else needs work. Staff messed up multiple orders during my visit. Restaurant was filthy and no manager to be found. Waited 25 min for my order which was incomplete. I like the chicken but will find a different location next time.

The chicken burger they gave me was maybe room temperature if I m being generous. Never had fast food served that cold before. Won t return.

Crispy chicken sandwich was wicked good. Plenty of crunch, juicy, on a brioche bun. Popcorn shrimp were slightly overdone in my opinion.

This is what you get for a 30 minute wait at Popeyes in Courtenay, BC 1 wilted lettuce, 2 tablespoons of mayo and 1 sad looking chicken burger in a soggy bun, because of all the mayo. I did not ask for tomatoes. The definition of fast food is food that can be prepared quickly and easily. The excuse given, was that they had new staff. My thought on that excuse, is do not use the new staff until fully trained! I do not blame the untrained staff, I blame the owner of the franchise, letting them hit the floor before they are trained,

-Food took 25 minutes. -forgot a drink and was confused about the fact Id like my 2nd drink. -forgot the honey mustard sauce... THE HONEY MUSTARD OF ALL THINGS. My nugs remained dry , but my tears kept my cheeks wet... I was too tired to care so i just drove away, so thats on me. Chicken was pretty darn ok though

Theyve got a ways to go here. The food was luke warm, except for the biscuit, which was hot. The food has obviously been sitting a while and the lobby was very dirty. Very disappointing as other locations do take pride in their business and serving guests.

The manager is racist towards natives and to top of that experience the food was not good at all dried out and only lukewarm having been left with indigestion from our racist experience we were not able to digest the food as well. We will not be back ever.

First time having this chicken, did not live up to the hype. Nothing special.

This was my fourth and last trip to the Popeyes chain, good thing is they are consistent, consistently bad, unfortunately this franchise was my last and final visit so they get the brunt of my bad review, service was great and friendly, store front was really nice but like all the other franchises in BC (Mission/Nanaimo/Richmond) the food is really bad and overpriced. I literally think a McChicken tastes way better and a lot cheaper. Lots of hype for overpriced food that ends up in the garbage because it tasted like cardboard. One good thing is they do give lots of dips to make the food palatable. Thumbs up for that.

Their crispy chicken sandwich was one of the better ones weve had at a fast food place in quite a while. Their portion size for fries and onion rings are very small.

This is my 3rd instance I was send away and reason saying shop closed . I checked if my watch was wrong or I was at wrong time zone! No I was on PST TIME and I was there at 840 , 845pm and yesterday at 839pm! Moreover when asked if there was anything left , they said that 4 pieces were available. Much to disappointment we found only 3 pieces in the take out and charged 7$ for 4. Terrible experience.

Placed the order on the app, called them specially to request to make the chicken fresh even then the chicken tasted stale. Disappointed with the poor behavior of selling and getting rid of old stock. Will never try again! Food : 2/5

Food was awesome but the wait is long because of Skip The Dishes orders. They fill them before walkin orders.
