This is the second time I have gone to Boston Pizza this past 4 day . The first time we had 16 people, we were one of the only table in, and it took them an hour to make the food .This time, I went with my kids, and there is barely anyone there, and we waited to be seated for a long time . So we decided to leave and never come back to Boston pizza. Worst service ever . We decided to go to white spot and the restaurant is full weird .

Just fine as usual no above expectations

Too loud music, staff seemed annoyed or irritated food was okay, nothing like a better pizza or pasta restaurant, comparable to fast food.

So... we have been going to this Boston Pizza since the day it opened. It changed management a few years ago and had gone downhill. This evening we tried to spend our money there. It appeared fairly busy a few open tables, and the patio only had one table in use out of 12. The hostess refused to seat us in the patio as it would be too much for the server to handle with her other tables. Um, isnt that their job. We (2 ppl) didnt want to sit inside. So they refused to seat us. The time before they made us wait 15 mins as they didnt want to overwhelm the server with tables. She already had 3. Just 3? Perhaps a different profession if you cant handle a fourth table. Done with this overpriced mediocre restaurant. Went to another restaurant that happily sat us and received our money.

Late review, we went a little while ago and our service was terrible.. We came with children, my fiance and my father for my fiances birthday lunch. She asked for coffee and it took quite a while for her to get. Many of the things we asked for we had to ask for twice. We also asked for some crayons and coloring mats for the kids. And wouldnt you belive it, after years of having coloring mats and crayons for kids they no longer do. Theyre cutting costs and the service really wasnt great. The food is usually good, but Im pretty disappointed they dont cater to children anymore. Kid-friendliness: Nothing really kid friendly aside from the food.

We stopped in for dinner (may 18/2024) when we first got there it took awhile to even get seated. Once we did get seated and the waitress slash supervisor came over to take our order she was nice at first but after she brought our drinks it took forever to come back to take our order 1/2 a hr later she came back. Then when she did come back to take our order half the stuff we wanted to order they didn t have. So we finally found stuff they had on the menu and when It finally came it was cold and not what we ordered. Finally the waitress came back to see how the meal was and a told her my meal was terrible and under cooked she just grabbed my plate and walked away. As we sat there again in disbelief on how we were treated she finally came aback again and she asked us if we wanted boxes I asked her if her manger was there. She than said to me she was the supervisor there and if she could help us I then told her about how bad the food was and her service and she than started to argue with me saying how was she supposed talk to me when I said my food was terrible and under cooked at this time I knew this wasn t going anywhere with her so I ask for the bill payed it and left. We will never be back to the restaurant and will never recommend anyone to eat there after the way we were treated.

Terrible spot to eat. Ordered the Thai chicken wrap and asked for extra sauce but got no warning that it would make the wrap soaking wet. It looked like soggy ABC food. Got told they couldnt do anything about it cause it was modified so I had to pay for a meal I didnt even eat. Not sure if this spot is hurting for money, or what kind of cheap manager is running the place, but Ive never experienced that before from a Boston pizza. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

The lasagna was just what I was in the mood for.

Beer was very bitter. Wait staff didnt care. Wont be back. Zero for a tip. Were told we could only sit at the bar because the server was busy on her phone. Ended up at a table , she got off her phone. Rest of staff were attentive to their customers.

Our family ordered Boston pizza for my birthday. The pasta and pizza were good no complaints there. My wife and I ordered chicken sandwiches which contained a rotten piece of lettuce mushy tomato and chicken so tough my wife and I didn t even eat it. Quality was very poor do not recommend.

Been going here for 25 years. Its had its ups and downs. I found it was best when Larry was still there. Menu has lost a few items over the years. Service is decent. Atmosphere feels dated. Overall not bad.

I have been going to Boston Pizza for over 40 years. They still make great food. This place is no exception.

Was slow service, unorganized, and they did not tell us they would be adding 18 % to our bill for each person because we had more than 10 people at our table. We booked in advance and it was not mentioned at time of booking. We would have gone elsewhere. Definitely not a happy atmosphere while we dined. If was lacking something. Will be a long while until we go back.

Went there a big group members. Nice area, order Triple Play from new menus. Y Hmmm ..so tasty of it!!! ( If ya like spicy Thai chicken )

Quick courteous service. They need to learn the difference between Diet and regular drinks. I ordered diet Pepsi got regular twice. Apart from that great meal. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for my Grandson who has gluten and peanut allergies.

I was out on the island for business and had a stopover in the area decided to come to Boston Pizza as it is fairly familiar. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff and had a drink on my table within minutes. The server was prompt and polite which was a breath of fresh air after a long day. She explained that she was the manager but was short-staffed so she needed to cover a shift and let me know right away that if the service was taking a little bit of extra time that that was the reason (short staff). I appreciated her honesty and continued to order. The food was absolutely amazing, the perfect temperature and texture. By far this is the best experience I have ever had at a Boston Pizza in all of Canada. If I could give more stars I definitely would! Thank you for the great experience I will definitely be returning.

The food is not great. We ordered bread sticks, they were tiny and for 13 dollars. No worth, they don t even have much vegetarian options. Also, the quenchers are just soda , literally no flavour.

I recently visited Boston Pizza for a family get-together, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The servers demeanor seemed confused, which affected the overall service. Its disappointing when the service falls short and fails to meet expectations. I decided to order the chicken Caesar salad, hoping for a flavorful and enjoyable meal. However, I was disappointed to find the chicken in the salad to be extremely dry. It greatly affected the taste and made the dish less enjoyable. Moreover, the portion size of the salad was surprisingly small, especially considering its price of $20. The combination of dry chicken and an inadequately sized portion made it difficult to justify the cost. Overall, based on my recent experience, I would not recommend Boston Pizza. The confused service, coupled with the disappointing quality of the chicken Caesar salad, left me unsatisfied. I believe there are better dining options available in the area that offer more value for money and a more pleasant dining experience.

I sat down for lunch on my own during my lunch hour break. I ordered a French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad with grilled chicken with NO bacon - as I am allergic. The service was excellent with the waitress and host being very pleasant. Visually, the food looked amazing. A few bites into the salad though, I saw scattered pieces of bacon throughout my salad - but not much. Which makes me wonder if that Chef prepared the salad with the bacon, and then he decided to remove the obvious pieces. You cant possibly do that when someone has made an allergy very clear! The chicken was extremely dry, stringy and clearly overcooked. The kitchen prepared me another salad (to-go) as I was running out of time on my break. They charged me FULL price, I left a generous tip for the waitress (as its not her fault at all) and she gave me the salad and a free kids cookie... My to-go salad container was barely half full and guess what - no grilled chicken - which I paid EXTRA for but unable to eat b/c of the bacon! Overall, pretty disappointing. Everyone wants their moneys worth - which this was not! Campbell River BP will do it right, go there.

Our server (I m sorry, I forget your name!) really made our experience this evening. Was prompt without being intrusive and very thoughtful, especially for our youngest as it was his birthday dinner. Many would do well to follow her example! Special memories for the kids, and a very reasonable expense for us :)

We were in Courtenay just for the weekend and with four young children, we stopped by the BP and met Brian. He was amazing from the minute we met. Left such a good impression with us that we came back the next day. Thank you Brian! Food

You know what your going to get its a chain. Its value for your money but definitely not anything exceptional. The pizzas are OK but there is alot better pizza out there.

The worst experience!!! Meals all came out at different times, pizza luke warm, shrimp tacos were cold! Server got us to pull the shrimp out of the tacos to be reheated!!! Seriously!! Then we got attitude from the server because we didnt tip her!!! Never again!!

Stopped for lunch when we were up in the area. Great service and great food. Always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. Or sit in the bar area and watch the game.

We were in on November 1, 2023 and had the new 12x12 truffle mushroom pizza. It was AMAZING!! From what I understand we were the first customers to try it. The only thing I could say is that the topping on the outside crust was very salty, otherwise it was DELICIOUS!!

Boston pizza is a classic for small or large gatherings, with decent food and great service it rarely disappoints. although there spaghetti is often blande and meatballs somewhat unpalatable, the rest of the menu is very nice, also opening my eyes to the potential of vegetarian pizzas with Zorba the Greek, a very nice pizza .

The deep fried pickles were excellent. We took the pizza back to our motel room. We were so dissapointed. Crust was very old...hard..minimal toppings..not worth the huge cost.

Was fantastic pizza, my friends had the ravioli and a custom pasta and all the dishes were served hot and the staff was super friendly and fast. Serving sizes were perfect.

Got the grilled chicken sandwich, to start. The sandwich was very poorly thrown together. Tomatoes were barely on the sandwich, meat was put in sideways and I had to take it apart and re assemble it myself (granted it was delivered so it could have been the driving). My onion rings soggy and wet, and almost undercooked feeling and so I only ate a couple of them. The food itself isn t great overall and my chicken was incredibly dry and chewy, don t know what else to add it just wasn t good

Strike three your out.. Big Dipper steak sandwich with fries. Fries were cold. The steak was chunks and ice had shoe leather that was more edible. Out of Angry Orchard cider.. at least the Belgian moon tastes good..

I ate at Boston Pizza last night with my brother and his friend. As someone with Celiac Disease, eating out can be a hit or miss experience, and more often than not ends up with me being sick, but I was only in town for a short time and wanted to take them to dinner and a movie. The way that the staff and management handled my restrictions was absolutely amazing, like nothing I have received anywhere before. Our waitress was knowledgeable and was able to inform me of what on the menu would be safe for me to have. The manager personally came out to talk to me about why my food was talking longer, because there was cross-contamination. They remade it for me and all my food was outstanding. Thank you to the wonderful waitress, kitchen staff and management for handling this so well, as this is not the normal experience for someone with my disease. Too often do I end up eating a plain salad for dinner, or being told they couldn t serve me anything when I go out. Thank you all so much for making this one of the best experiences I ve had at a restaurant since my diagnosis.

Such an amazing experience here on Tuesday March 22nd for a late lunch around 3PM. It was our first time in 2 years taking our toddler out in public to eat as a family. I didn t get the Server s name who was working but she was absolutely lovely. She was very sensitive to the needs of our crazy toddler s shenanigans and it really did not go unnoticed how accommodating she was. A little kindness goes a long way and it definitely made the experience so enjoyable! Amazing service and the food was hot and tasty. 100% recommend this location :)

Pizza Royale was just ok. Shrimp on top were overcooked and cold. Side salad was good, more attention to wilted spinach would be appreciated. Didnt finish either.

Pizza not very good

Service was slow even though there were about 10 members of staff on the floor. The lady serving our table took our order , but didnt bring us our drinks for 20 min. In that time we had already ate our starter. And she asked a customer behind me if he wanted a drink and came back with it right away. This spurred me to ask where our drinks were. She said they would be a few minutes. She proceeded to do a lap of the building. Then came back with our drinks. I asked what the problem was. Instead of apologizing she came up with excuse after excuse. She told me she was sweating. I told her that was her job. She ran off crying. Next we had a young blonde server, who slammed my plate on the table and ran away from the table. I asked if I could speak to her manager. She told me she was the manager. I tried to talk to her, but it was pointless. She told me I made the woman fell like she was doing a bad job. We quickly finished up there and left $150 to be treated with such destain. You have 2 options here. Spend your hard earned money on terrible service or make a complaint and you will be subjected to passive aggressiveness bordering on full on aggression. It was awful. I have since tried to call the manager there , but the girls that work there seem to be screening the calls for complaints. Dont eat here.

BP was short staffed on this day but we made reservations for 25. The waitress did an amazing job as serving us and the food came incredibly fast once it was all ordered.

Burger tasted microwaved, bland flavor. Left me feeling ill afterwards. Chicken club was so bad had to remove chicken (dry, hard, microwaved) to eat what was left. Left plate for server with chicken obviously to the side, no questions were asked about the meal just passed the bill. Bandera bread is pretty much the only reason to go anymore.

We have never had a good meal at any BP. Your pizza is the worst good lord are you not a pizza place, the pizza came missing black olives so she brought us a small dish of olives, the tomato paste was just that dry and awful,then the bill 80.00 can t support you anymore.

If I could give Boston Pizza 20 stars , if I could. Our server was amazing. She was incredibly friendly , very helpful , quick , knowledgeable and made a very stressful day feel not so bad. When in Courtenay , we will definitely return. Prices and food were also very reasonable. Just over $ 100 to feed 6 ppl. Very happy to see such wonderful people in the service industry. Other front end staff members were wonderful.

Fries were cold and greasy. They ran out of ketchup. The whole experience was slower than it needed to be. There are better, cheaper places in town to spend your hard earned cash. Go elsewhere.

The food is much better than I expected. Normally Boston Pizza has really disgusting food in most cities. The pizza is sometimes cold, and always slimy. Not at this one though. It was pretty good. I was impressed. Mind you, it was my first time going in a decade. Before that Id been to five of them in different cities in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Not really reliable info for BC Ill admit.

The server, Jasmine, was absolutely wonderful and friendly! Answered all of my questions, and then some. If you do go there, be aware they do the Tip pool thing, so bring cash if you want to reward your server for being a good host! All in all, a pleasant experience.

It was blah. We paid $90.00 and really the only thing we enjoyed out of all the food and including my kids was the lasagna and we had Bandera bread and the kids had some food also but wasnt the greatest. Filled out the survey and we will see if I will be changing this or not....

Took 5 of us out for dinner last evening after boating all day. WORST FOOD EVER!!!! Cauliflower bites were greasy and virtually unrecognizable; Bugs n Cheese were flavorless - in fact our granddaughter didnt even want the desert that came with it. My pizza (Mediterranean) was also tasteless. A bad ending for such a great day - left most if it on the table. Ugh! flavorless - in fact my granddaughter didnt even want

Tried to order take out through phone. Was on hold and forgotten about. Tried to place an order online and kept giving me a general error during checkout. Was just an overall bad experience for a date night. Ended up eating elsewhere.

What a joke! Horrible service! 3 ladies standing at cash register gossiping amongst themselves and staring at customers while doing so. What a great way to drive people away..most uncomfortable feeling ever being stared at by the 3 workers.

Reliable and upper average-ish food with friendly staff, sports bar atmosphere and mints by the door. The mints, though factually correct, are organically irrelevant.

I was waiting for my pick up order and the wait was pretty long but Lilly was so attentive and she keeps updating me about my order. I usually get angry for waiting for so long but she made me calm and not angry. Shes the best. She should get a raise. Not many place can make me feel calm waiting for so long. Shes the best.

Accually the least amount of meat on a meat lovers pizza I have ever seen, also the other pizza we bought wasnt what we ordered but took it so we didnt have to wait another 20 minutes for the right one. Very, very disappointed in the quality and service when we were excited to go to the city to get a well deserved pizza that we used to enjoy. WE WONT BE BACK,,, HORRIBLE.....negative stars should be an option

The great thing about Boston pizza is that the food is generally the same at every location and they know how to hire good, enthusiastic employees. The location in Courtenay is no different. Our server was fantastic and she engaged the kids in the food ordering process. Food was cooked very nicely and COVID protocols were being followed by all employees and guests. Was a good night out!

The owner and staff really go out of there way to make sure you have great experience. Ordered four large pizzas best in town! Did not disappoint
