If youre in Courtenay and craving a tasty pizza, I highly recommend checking out Local Pizza . I recently had their pesto chicken pizza, and it was fantastic loaded with veggies and chicken, and the pesto sauce was delicious. Plus, the staff are really friendly and they whip up the pizza quickly.

Oh man, first of all. Congratulations on the pricing. 35-36$ for 3x 12 is a throwback to the good old days pricing That spicy tandoori Chicken was so nice, never thought cilantro &the chicken was gonna work but it just does. The garnish was plentiful and sauce adequate. I would add fresh basil on the sauce under the cheese for the supreme & maybe eggplants for the greek but thats my personal take on it. Good job

I really cannot believe this place has 4.8 stars. We were just looking for good pizza after a day of riding in Cumberland on a Tuesday. Nothing opened or only walk up pizza. So we decided on this based on the high reviews. Huge disappointment. Got three slices that tasted like frozen pizza, she put in the oven but was not warmed through. Got the combo with a fountain drink, the Pepsi was out of order and Diet wasn t even an option. Took a few sips of and threw the cup away. Who doesn t have diet? Bathrooms were also out of order. Maybe it s because we did the slices instead of the whole pizza, but the crust, the sauce, nothing was worth noting except the price. Thank goodness we only spent $10 for this less than par pizza.

The staff were super nice and friendly but unfortunately the food was not so great. Similarly, this location didnt have a washroom available for customers to use.

Locals was easy to work with, affordable, organized and able to bring a large number of pizzas to our double kiddo birthday party in Cumberland. They even went above and beyond and brought a little cake for our kids. We appreciate the good service and food and delivery to Cumberland isn t always easy to come by either! We thought the toppings were skimpy. Also, I am celiac so ordered the GF crust. There is NO information on their website about which sauces and toppings contain gluten so I played it safe and ordered a very boring pizza.

Awesome and quick service with delicious food

Shahi Paneer - ordered at one hour to closing time, delivery. Order arrived at the last minute of estimated delivery, but with a smiling face and reasonable explanation. Well when the pizza was opened, oh sweet jesus. This is the best indian food in Comox/Courtenay. Hands downs. And it s in pizza form. Thank you, we are now loyal customers of Local Pizza.

Not bad for a quick pizza, but not worth gourmet pizza prices for what you receive. It is tasty for a moment but falls short of fulfilling hunger and desire for pizza because its just lacking... volume.

Ive eaten Local pizza maybe ten times since they opened and the quality has tanked since they opened. The ingredients are the opposite of fresh, the dough is floppy and undercooked, theyre sparse with the cheese, the delivery is 5 dollars off the bat and then an additional tip for the delivery driver. Its extremely cheaply made food with cheap ingredients, made by people that really dont care that cost way way too much. Tastes good if youre very drunk, otherwise, its a rip off. Honestly, its very easy to make your own pizza for a quarter of the price and youll certainly like it more. Local pizza wont survive too much longer because there is no passion or care and theyre trying to compete with the chain stores by cheaping out on ingredients

I seriously love this place, theyre so friendly and the pizza is good! Their gluten free crust is bomb too. Its always fast and pretty affordable too. Its a go-to dinner spot for us!

Udo and his team are fabulous!!! we are from Calgary and we were in town and ordered pizza the pizza was the best pizza we had ever had and we went back to Calgary telling people how amazing it was and were wishing we were able to order local pizza there! Great selections and flavours are amazing, when we came back for a visit we ordered again and Udo the owner personally delivered the pizza and once again didn t disappoint!!! Can t recommend enough! Ever since dropping the fresh slice brand I have found they have created a great new menu and the pizza dough is awesome, butter chicken is my favourite, well done!

I recently tried the Local Pizza joint and while their pizza was alright, it wasnt exceptional. However, I did manage to score a good deal on their 2 extra large (16) pizzas for $31. Just pepperoni and cheese with garlic sauce. Their prices are a bit higher than other pizza places in the area, but it was still worth it for what I got. Redeeming my discount through Facebook Messenger app was a bit of a convoluted process. I had to message a code they gave me at the restaurant to the Local Pizza Facebook contact and redeem it when it said to in their auto response. The person behind the counter seemed a little too unimpressed the whole time, which made me think that she also wasnt a fan of the process either. The restaurant itself looked clean and my order was done in the given time, so in the end it worked out. However, I may check out other pizza places in the area to see how they measure up in pricing .

Ate at this location a long time ago, when it was fresh slice and vowed to never return. I am extremely happy to say I gave Locals a try, I have a family of five to feed and they can be picky at best. Not only did we get 3 xl pizzas for the price of 2 at the competition. But my whole family is stuffed with a whole pizza to spare. The young lady working was super friendly and while we were trying to decide between 2 pizzas she suggested a half and half. So now i have 4 different types of pizza inside me . The pizza was made in like 15 mins and it was incredibly good. I dont have enough positive things to say. Cost was very fair, service was awesome, pizza was very good. The only negative I have to say is that i dont have a forklift at home to get around now that I am immobilized. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend them. If you tried fresh slice and hated it, this was a whole other experience. Loved it.. This place is excellent all around. We just about always get the BBQ chicken with pineapple and banana peppers. Butter chicken is also a favourite. Whatever you choose, its always delicious and consistent quality. The staff are wonderful and the service is awesome. Highly suggested if youre after some super satisfying, affordable pizza.

Pizza was 20 minutes late. Was soggy and cold. Was pretty dissapointing.

We are a fan of this restaurant but today tried their Panner pizza for the first time. I must say everyone should try this and trust me, this is going to be your favourite place forever like us. Most reasonable and yummiest pizza in the town.
