I wish I could rate this higher!!! The pulled pork with pineapple is to die for. Customer service is top notch too. Crust is perfectly crunchy and golden on the outside

Pizza was terrible. Crust was like chewing on cardboard. Comparable to a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Do not recommend.

Simply the best pizza in Courtenay

We ordered the lasagne for 2 large size. Got 2 salads with it. Our family of 3 (teenage boy included) made 2 meals out of it! Excellent portions. Food was amazing and VERY cost friendly.

Home made donair meat the bought stuff is hella salty this is lightly salted. These people know food. Fat friggin donair, huge friggin pitta real sauce . Greasy and cheesy pizza. Plus it is responsibly priced. I died and went to heaven. I will be back. Holy bleep. Why I dont come by sooner.... You have acquired a regular customer.

Good pizza with fresh ingredients but a little heavy on the cheese. I enjoyed my Italian pizza from them and will probably order again soon. I ve also tried their Pazones and they are also delicious.

Chewy dough, everything comes off with one bite. Wouldnt go back. Had 2 small pieces and the rest went in the garbage. Would of taken it back but couldnt be bothered.

Pretty good pizza. The toppings fell off of a few slices while taking them out of the box and the pieces werent cut through all the way. Good ingredients and lots of toppings

I have been a fan of Mr Js since it was called Cosmos, my favorite for years has been Bills pizza, but no more, I have ordered it twice in tbe last 6 weeks both times it was been a sad immatation of the pizza I used to love. I could tell the difference just by picking up tbe box. Extremely disappointed

Gf and I ordered on recommendation from a friend, absolutely loved it, its pizza the way its supposed to be, and there panzanati is huge and delicious.. 10/10 will return..

I ve been for takeout 3 or 4 times now & I just found about this place a week or so ago, the wings are probably the best in town(I ve been back so often so they must be). I ve lived in the valley my whole & I m ashamed at myself for not knowing about this local Pizza/ food place sooner! dominos/ Panago won t be getting my money anytime soon

Bought two large pizzas , got soggy uncooked dough and little to no mushrooms after ordering extra mushrooms . The other pizza was soggy and tasted like cheddar cheese and tomatoe sauce. It was a taco pizza no sour cream very little ground beef a few lettuce pieces and huge chunks of tomatoes. These are our go to pizzas order the same kind always but for 50+ dollars was a waste of money .

Ordered Bill s Special(AGAIN) and it was fantastic. I actually always order this pizza because it is THAT GOOD!!!!! LOADED with delicious toppings, crust cooked to perfection, and ALWAYS great service!!! Cannot go wrong with this gem of a pizza place!!

Best pies and calzones in town

A little disappointed that a pizza that was supposed to cost 16.50. Plus an uncooked pretzel bun at 3.10 cost. 36.00 with a tip. And the pizza was just cheese and sauce. I have the receipt. I wish I could upload it to show how I got ripped off. And they change the total 3 times. To 28.98 with a 6.00 delivery. 1hr 17 minutes later. And the pizza is cold. Thank you for the great experience.

Great pizza

The little storefront offers big flavour. I have been skeptical to try this place since moving here. Im glad that I did though. Got a vegetarian pizza and a cosmos pizza. Impressed by both options. A pizza is only as good as the crust and Mr. J dances on the line between thin and regular style which I perfect. Not to doughy and not to this that it flops over. Also if you like Donaire, this place is one of the few in the valley. Definately satisfied an itch Ive had for a long time. Glad I found this place! Would come again.

Great food ! But when you order on a Saturday night add about 10-15 minutes to their estimate. Worth it though.

The girls working at the front were very friendly and considering how busy they were they ran efficiently. First time ordering here, pick up. The pizza was good, would have preferred it to have a bit more toppings as some areas on the pizza were bare. Not sure if this is the norm or due to the stress on the kitchen.

Surprisingly, great pizza. Do not let this little hole-in-the-wall spot deter you. It has been a few years since I have eaten here, but my personal favorite was the Dracula s Revenge pizza. Not sure if they still have that one. It sounds weird, and I would probably have never tried it if not offered it once turned out to be simply amazing!! Now that I think of it, I think I need to stop in there again and give it another go!

Lived here for over a year now and I guess I should have tried Mr Js a long time ago. Had two pizzas that seemed to be freshly made with quality ingredients. Lady at the window was friendly. Nothing bad to say here. Pizza was even good on the second day. Will have to try a few more!

We Love this little hole in the wall for evenings when we dont want to cook. Mr J and his staff are hardworking and friendly. My favorites are Panzarotti and the J Rock salad with shrimp

Had two large pizzas delivered, $53. The dough is more like bread than pizza dough -- loafy. Pulled pork was sliced pork, other toppings werent notable. Completely underwhelming. There are great meals to be had for this price in the valley. This just wasnt one of them.

The price and location are outstanding. Secure easy parking since you wont be there long. The pizzas are made fresh and fast. The lasagna is delicious and homemade freshly there. Close to the walkway if you want to walk or bike there to pick up.

Hands down the best pizzas in Courtenay! We moved here two years ago and always drove past the store/shack and wondered about it and decided to give it a try one day and never looked back since. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful on each pizza and you get amazing value for your money too.

Definitely a hidden gem! They have awesome food, and its very reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I got the rib dinner for two the other day, and it came with soooo much food for $30!! Everything was so tasty, and the ribs were perfect.

Wow, what a disappointment! It was my first experience with Mr. Js. I picked up 2 pizzas, which took longer than expected. Now I realize why they took so long: they were left in the oven too long and were both quite overcooked, with a dry, tasteless crust. I ordered from Islander Pizza a couple weeks ago....no comparison! Theirs was delicious, one of the best crusts Ive ever had! Sorry to the friendly staff at Mr. Js, but as they say, you dont get a second chance to make a first impression. :-(

Cant believe I didnt try this place earlier. Looks so non-descript. Amazing pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Thin, crisp crust, tangy homemade sauce with a bit of spice, thick proper pepperoni and tons of real mushrooms. Delicious! And very reasonable priced. A hidden gem!
