Good pizza and wings. We did pick up, pizza & wings were fresh & hot, so good.
Since opening day, at this Courtenay franchise, ALL the staff and management at this establishment have always been friendly, efficient, and courteous. The food has always been very good. Pizza, Boneless wings, bread, etc. I can recommend them without any reservations. I typically order online and have had no issues whatsoever. :)
I recently ordered from papa johns .The quality of Papa John’s pizza is excellent—fresh ingredients, a flavourful crust, and perfectly melted cheese. The toppings are generous and well-balanced, making for a satisfying experience.

Me and my boyfriend were craving pizza and decided to try out a place we’ve never had before. Unfortunately, the pizza tasted like it was dipped straight into an oil rig. We love garlic sauce, but the “garlic butter” sauce it was supposed to be ended up tasting like a mini sample of a tub of Bacel butter. The service was great, but otherwise we will not be trying it again. Ever.
Order lunch from this Location every Friday, ManPreet is amazing, she is cheerful and always a smile on! food is correct and wonderful each time, have yet to have any issues. Thank you!!
I work nearby and often pop in for a quick lunch item. The woman who works the dayshift is so awesome! She always addresses me by name, asks how my day is and is so very pleasant, I always leave with a smile and return to work to enjoy my lunch. (Highly recommend the papadias) Always consistently great! The owner is lovely and she appreciates her staff and treats them well - and for all of these reasons, I will continue to go and continue to recommend! GREAT JOB YOU GUYS!
Worst franchise of papa johns TBH. As to your reply. No I do not have the sticker, receipt or the box. I was at a friend's house whom asked if I knew a good pizza place. I've had great pizza at papa johns in Chilliwack and kelowna. Your crust is terrible. Never again

Everything looked fine, I was so excited because of the deal they were having. Buy one, get one free. When it came I gagged. Firstly, one of the pizzas were wrong. Thats fine, that didnt bother me. What bothered me is that it smelled rancid. The dipping sauce was vile, the pizza sauce was vile. I had one slice just to make sure its safe and it gave me shivers all night, food poisoning. Everytime I buy from here something is wrong. The only good thing about my order was the breadsticks. I do NOT recommend papa Johns unless you want to get food poisoning.
Just placed my order over the phone and the lady I was speaking to was so nice and professional the short conversation made my day and she deserves a raise for her excellent customer service skills!

$1.60 for added olives and I got about 6 sliced pieces haha not even one per slice.
By far the worst pizza I have ever paid for almost zero toppings and it was almost as thin as the carboard box it came in.

Used to be my favorite spot pre 2023. Since then it has gone down hill fast. Every time i go in they do that tiktok trend where they cut out a slice from the middle and push the halves together to make it look like its a whole pizza. Plus they use borderline no cheese, scarce on toppings, and the crust isnt even good. Every other place in town has better pizza, even the 7-11 across the street. And Ive had the tiktok thing happen at Pizza Hut before but at least their pizza is good. This place is an absolute dumpster fire. Do not under any circumstances EVER consider eating here. The people who run it need to be tought a lesson in how to run their establishment, dont reward this toxic behaviour.

The pizza was ok and the counter staff were terrific but there was a man in there berating the staff. Now, I dont know if the cooks were too slow or what but, regardless, I dont care to hear a manager hollering at everyone. Conduct yourself with professionalism, man!
Food was super good. Should I have eaten it? Probably not lol. Delivery service was a little weird. First they forgot one of the pizzas but went back to grab it from the car. Seal was broken on the box(i m assuming to check if it was the right pizza?) but the pizza was fine. Second pizza had a hot green pepper beside the pizza?? The delivery man was super polite otherwise.
Pizza was as expected nothing special however the lack of training the counter staff have is unreal. Took 10 minutes to explain I was there to pick up an order and pay with my card. The poor lady had no clue how to operate the debit machine, could barely speak English, and the cooks all just stood there and stared at me. The franchise dropped the ball with this location and the owner needs to step up and properly train their staff.
Papa Johns is one of the newest pizza restaurants in Courtenay, and it is exceptional all-around! Papa Johns offers memorable flavours with a great selection of customizable options so that everyone can find something theyll enjoy. The quality of the pizza is well above average and is on the less greasy side too. I have placed several larger orders from here (10+ pizzas at a time) and they have always been made quickly and accurately too. The staff are always so friendly when I come in, I always have felt the service is consistently awesome here. This is my go-to pizza place and I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to try something new!

Lovely greasy pizza - well cooked, well made. Delivery was very quick during dinner even, and the hot chili pepper in each box was a cute bonus

I have had papa Johns twice this month and both times I was sick and throwing up. The first time just me (was not sure if it had been the food), the second the whole family. Pizza was tasty but who knows what they make it with.
