Edit: I unfortunately have to re-review Triple Os. After going many times over the years, the last few times I went the burger was now very noticeably smaller and dryer and worse. I love triple Os, just moved to Courtenay and the staff has always met our giant orders with grace and enthusiasm, and they always make us feel like valued customers. Just the best people working there! Vegetarian options: My vegetarian daughter endorses the burger, she doesnt like very many fast food veggie burgers

I ve been a fan of Triple O s for a long while and last night became very disappointed to find out this location can t do a thick-cut-fries order properly.

After trying quite a few places Im still convinced that these are the best burgers in the valley. Great side choices as well.

Grayson and the Wednesday staff were outstanding and accommodating tonight. I love grabbing a bite here when I can and tonight was a last minute dine in during a very tough financial time for me. To say the least the staff tonight managed to find me the best combo for my dollar and were very understanding and accommodating as I struggled with my card. Thank you so much to them tonight for their selflessness and kindness, please do tip them as much as you can when you see these hard working folks!

Triple O s is great. But the employees at the Courtenay location . Not so much. They are notorious for forgetting parts of orders. We ordered today and they forgot and entire meal that was paid for.

Horrible customer service by the lady who works the drive through. She looks so unhappy and was extremely rude... Get a different job or learn customer relations.

Update: Both of us agreed, by far worse ff breakfast weve ever had, buns were burnt and it was downhill from there. Today we learned that Triple Os is to be avoided going forward ha! Terrible service, took forever, condescending attitude, no idea how to serve customers properly. Told me to never come back because I criticised her lack of basic understanding on how to serve someone. The lying was over the top, no apologies for taking so long to prepare food, just sad all around. If you cant tolerate tourism, maybe you should not be doing this job? I mean, the cook came out to tell her to take your time Hahaha, its like a joke instead of a place of business. So many other restaurants to choose from, go somewhere else.

Had to speak quite loudly to order so ordered at the window. The boy who took the order was unkempt and rude, and when I got home, the burger was not the one I ordered. I was so hungry I ate anyway. It was dry and overcooked. It was fast, though.

They never give me a receipt at the drive-through at least a dozen times I ve been there so I started asking for a receipt with my order and they got angry with me. I don t eat here anymore. bigger burgers than most other places, but a much much higher price and not worth never getting a receipt as I run my own small business, and need the receipt. They went as far as just told me that they always give a receipt which I can t believe they said because I never got a receipt at least 10 times in a row through the drive-through.

Undercooked yam fries, the burger was cooked wrong, and shortly there after I felt sick. Stay away from this place!

Probably a wasted $59.00. About the only good things were my grandsons burger and the Double double that I ordered for my dog. Everything else was definitely not good, onions rings were old, chicken fingers about the same and other than the cod the rest of the cod burger was a mess.

Being a fan of Triple Os in other locations. I was disappointed with my visit here. The woman who took my order gave me the bad vibe as soon as I got to order. She wasnt pleasant and seem like she was having a bad day maybe. I placed my order for a double double burger. After I paid she didnt offer me my receipt or acknowledge my payment. She just continue bagging the poutine cheese on the front counter. Which surprised me with Covid-19 and that I was standing a few feet away. Stunned by what happened I kinda stood to see if she notice me but she continues to ignore me or the health hazard. Her co-worker came over from the drive thru to check on me after she left to put away the poutine cheese. He at least was helpful to giving me my receipt. Im guessing she also made my burger as she came out with it from the kitchen. I hope she washed her hands but I have little faith. The burger was squished and dripping in my car when I tried to eat it. So I didnt have time to snap a photo of it as my hands were getting covered by sauce. I hope head office gets to see my review and take action.

Visited yesterday evening. It was ok, but it was obvious the guy taking orders via the drive thru was either distracted, or doing too many things at once. Had to repeat the order back at least half a dozen times at his request because hed forgotten what Id said or wasnt listening. My mom wanted a tea, so asked for a tea and was told they didnt have any. No apology. Asked for no burger relish on my burger please, only triple O sauce. He told me that wasnt possible because theyre mixed together....I know thats not true, since Ive been ordering my whitespot burgers this way for 10+ years....I was incredulous, so I said the relish and the triple O sauce are mixed together? and he says Yes. I wasnt about to start arguing with the guy so I just said ok, thats fine. Sure enough, after I got the food I checked my burger and it has triple O sauce on the top half of the bun, and the burger relish is a few layers down, on the bottom side of the patty. Definitely not mixed together like the employee insisted it was. So my next question is are the burgers here premade, or are they made to order, as they should be? If a customer asks for something as simple as not adding a condiment, then the staff should accomodate that request, no questions asked. And how does a food establishment run out of plain black tea of all things? Lol. Yeah, yeah, first world problems I know. Hopefully theyre more organized next time.

Great food here... I missprounounced luau burger wrong, and they didnt even laugh at me... my fiance on the other hand, will never forget the day I asked for a laaauuioo burger. It was amazing.

Triple Os is the perfect alternative to McDs or other fast food joints. All of their food is of better quality in my opinion. I also believe they are Canadian which is a bonus! As a Canadian I like supporting Canadian business. 5/5

Window person could use a lesson in manners and customer service.

I have always been a fan of Triple Os burgers and milkshakes, especially the limited time burgers that they come out with. This time around however, was not the same as I have become use to at this location. The Kung Pao Chicken Burger was very tasty but had an excessive amount of lettuce in it and the Cod Burger had a stringy fillet of fish, as well as too much lettuce. Nonetheless, I will certainly still be coming back to this location.

This is my favourite place to go for burgers. Never been disappointed, though it seems the store is consistently understaffed, which is no fault of the folks working there.

Food was really good. We had a spicy chicken style burger and a chipotle BBQ burger. Sides were pickle chips and Cajun fries with one iced tea and a cookies and cream milk shake. All items exceeded our expectations. Prices were reasonable and the staff working the day we went were all super friendly. Food arrived in good time and order was correct. Will go back

Quality of the burgers is not what it used to be but the chicken fingers are the best in town so I continue going back. The customer service is pretty decent too Edit. The past few times I have been here, it has not been very good. I wont be going back anytime soon

I dont know why Im always hesitant to come to Triple Os but I can honestly say they provide the best fast foods option in the valley. Even though they were busy, the order taker was polite, smiled and above all got our order right. I know right, youd think that was a given but not so. Just go though any of the Golden arches locations in the valley. The food at Triple Os in Courtenay is always freshly made, hot and flavourful.

Multiple times we have been missing things from our take out bag. While we love the food and the prices are decent it can be super frustrating to get home and find you are missing anything from a small item like your chicken strip sauce to something substantial like your fries

Go here often, better tasting food with a fast food speed. Always leave feeling full and good. Their burgers, chicken burgers, breakfast sandwiches and milkshakes are great and taste a little more real than most fast food and hardly eve a big line up.

This had been my favorite place to eat especially its burger meal but the customer service is bad. Did my drive thru order and the lady was somewhat yelling at me while I am ordering. Too bad that my favorite breakfast place had this low customer service.

The burgers we got were barely luke warm, I had to go back to the counter and ask for the fries that came with my combo, and to top it off the pop machine tasted like dirty tap water with barely any syrup added. I dont think il be back anytime soon.
