Was a fun place, they do their own cocktails and the bowling is with the smaller balls so your basically hucking balls down the lane. It is a bit more expensive for the town it is in but it is a good time and a good energy compared to what it used to be, its actually a fun place to be

Our wedding weekend was in Cranbrook this past August. Having all of our guests drive 6+ hours, we hoped to make a weekend of it for everyone and added Golf as well as an evening at Encore, the night before our wedding. Guests raved about the delicious food, boozy milkshakes, bowling for the kiddos and of course spacious retro atmosphere! Strongly suggest making this spot a part of your wedding weekend, or even vacation! Looking forward to returning!

Amazing service, good selection of inhouse beer. The food is tasty and at a reasonable price for the amount you receive. Really enjoyable atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Thursday trivia night was a lot of fun. Great selection of craft beers. The only thing missing is a couple of pinball games.

Awesome vibe, the arcade and the bowling action was on point and the staff was very understandable and friendly . Unfortunately very disappointed with the dining aspect of the place especially the food, we ordered most of the items on the menu and most of them arrived to the table cold or being slightly Luke-warm and the flavours were disappointing . The menu sounds a bit all over the place and i find the execution was very poor in this instance. I do believe in creativity but unfortunately for me the dining experience dint convey the overall aspect of the place. I do understand the challenge that the hospitality industry go through these days but I do believe some for them can be rectified. Thank you

great staff, great food, great beer, great games. I recommend the Tall Ryan pizza for anyone who likes meat pizza... get it with the optional maple drizzle. the sweet and salty combo is fantastic! 10/10 will be a regular

A wonderful addition to cranbrook! Fun & lively atmosphere. Friendly staff. Especially Maria -- shes always a delight to be around. :) Tasty sharable food, good beer on tap.

Delicious food and the beer was even better. Server was great to deal with and told us some desirable areas to check out while camping. Will be a stop we wont miss if in the area.

Glad I found this place on my walk. Visiting Cranbrook and found a cool place to have a beer and snacks! I love that there is bowling and other games to play. Will bring my kids next time!

6 of us went out to eat. Paid for a drink that we didn t get. 4 meals were cold. Food overall was mid. There were no cups for water (however that happens). Bowling was fun. Won t be back.

Had a night stay in town so decided to try encore. Kids loved it! Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Pizza was great, my boy had a hotdog and tots and liked it. I had a flight of beer and enjoyed the 4 I tried so much I bought some for the hotel. Played some arcade games/board games, would highly recommend for a family looking to try something different for dinner. Only negative was they dont have chocolate milk so my kids had to drink juice lol

It was an experience had a interesting menu. Go up to the counter to order. Then they ring you to come and get it. There is lots of kids in there so volume is loud.

Amazing venue to visit if passing through, the food and drinks are incredible, the staff is amazing and the atmosphere is immaculate. 10/10 recommend visiting Encore brewing!

Amazing snacks pizzy Glizzy is insane !!!

We visited Encore Brewing for the first time this week (visiting Cranbrook) and had a really pleasant time. It was pretty quiet and as we walked in and looked around we were warmly greeted by Grace, the server behind the bar. She was a solo show and she gave attention to every single person who came up to order drinks or food, get kitted out for bowling etc. We ordered a flight and Grace described the beers to us. She was friendly, engaging and helpful. The reason were giving a 4 and not 5 star review is that we ordered a snack of Tater tots and that took forever to come out even though we were the only ones to have ordered food at that time. And the portion was really tiny. Our server had to ask the kitchen what was going on... Beers were tasty and cold. The Five Pin and the ESB were our favs.

A fun place. Casual, light lots of table top games and lively family activity on Tuesday. Great, friendly staff and pretty excellent food; we had a variety of tacos, the Ruben and a selection of true-to-style beer that rivals the best craft brewers in BC. Cool their pizza has spent barley in the crust; a unique texture and taste. Stop in!

We are always treated well at Encore. It has become a regular place for us to eat and spend time. The staff is wonderful and aways great us by name. Hats off to Grace. She remembers our orders, and is personable with everyone who orders at the bar. The bands they bring in have been awesome. BCDC and The Hip Replacements were so much fun to see. I miss the honey hot sauce I used to get on my pizza! I wish they would bring that option back! Please bring it back! Ha!

My family & I visited this establishment for the bowling & the arcade . We were all disappointed by the services we received & the quality of everything tied to the bowling aspect. Almost every pair of bowling shoes you have to pay to rent are disheveled, filled with holes & kept in terrible condition. Along side that, the shoes aren t kept clean either. Standard practice at bowling alleys will spray & sanitize rental shoes after every use, for good reason too. This establishment doesn t clean the shoes at all falling below standard practice & sanitary values. The arcade was considerably small, with only a handful of games to choose from making it hard to call an arcade. The pool table & cue sticks were in rough condition. All the cue sticks were broken & fixed with tape, & the pool table was not level making the game rigged & unenjoyable. The bowling alley itself wasn t level either, slightly slanted & warped. I believe the alley had too much oil applied as well which impacted gameplay.

4.5/5 I got a glass of the Jam Jam beer and the Pizzy Glizzy. The hotdog was probably the best Ive ever had. The beer was also very good and paired for a great after mountain bike ride. If you are after a pizza or a hotdog and a beer, this is a place for you. Looking at other peoples food that came out while I was there, it was very consistent. The mini games and arcade style games in the back make it a nice date night spot or a meet up spot after a long ride on two wheels

For a busy night, I must say, the staff at Encore was amazing. Top notch service! Encore never disappoints!

Went for daughter s birthday. She loved it and so did we. Will be back again.

Tasty selection of beers to choose from, good food and friendly staff

Nice set up in this place! Fun decor, clever to incorporate the bowling alley and games to the brewery/pub! Beer selection excellent, reasonably priced flights and pints. Some unique food options; the pepperoni wrapped in cheesy bread was great. The cheese and bacon dip was also good but pretty unwieldy to actually eat with the pizza bread. Sadly, a bit too noisy on the tables side. Music was louder than it needed to be for the atmosphere, almost as if was same volume as the lanes side.

Pizza was great! Would have got 5 stars but the website for ordering was off a little off. You can t order a pizza without a credit card online.

I would have given 5 stars had it not been for a large personal deal breaker. The reason for the one star removal is due to the fact that they removed the couple vegan options they previously had. I was so excited to be able to come here for family fun and enjoy the same as everyone else in our group but they have made that change. I found out as we decided to go there with group as it was a place we all new there was options for all of us.... until that visit we learned that was no longer offered. The reason I would still rate it highly as the atmosphere is great. The bowling is so much fun with the family, and they also do many events and offer fun weekly savings often. The one thing that stands out above all is the customer service. The staff there have been nothing but kind and helpful! I just hope I can come back and eat in near future ;)

Unlike anything else in the Kootenays, this rejuvenated bowling alley turned brewery, restaurant, arcade, and pizzaria is coolest one stop shop Ive ever been to. What a vibe!

What an incredibly refreshing change for cranbrook! Encore brewing brings an excellently crafted beer and entertainment venue unlike any other experience in town. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly. Vegetarian options: Amazing Chilean vegan tacos!! Kid-friendliness: Children are allowed in the premises until 9pm

This is the place that Cranbrook needed! The food and drinks are amaaazing (the strawberry milkshake is delicious). The staff were so friendly and the service was great, especially considering they just opened their doors. The atmosphere is so fun and unlike any other spot in town. This will be my new go-to spot!

Cool retro vibe. Design and up-cycling of old lanes is great. Milkshake was a 10/10. Happy it s a place where kids can go to bowl too. Not enough parking- this place will make the neighbours . Need to work on menu so people can easily see gluten free options. Needs a bike rack. will definitely return for food.

I went there a few times now, and i really enjoyed myself, specially on the bowling alley. Lots of people having fun. And its nice to see all the families and kids enjoy their self. And they now have pool tables! and the staff are super friendly.

Fun environment, had a good time bowling, food was good. Was pretty disappointed when they told me they didn t have a button in their system for a virgin Caesar, didn t have any hot sauce, was still able to get one at least, but they charged me $8, which is very expensive for a mocktail that came in a 12oz glass.

Really liked the vibe of this place. Beer was really good, pizza was amazing. A bit on the pricey side, but so is everything now anyways. Will be back for sure. One thing Id love to see.... some pinball machines!!

The food was okayish, except for the fact I found mold in my pizza. The employees couldnt care any less if you were talking to them. Theres broken glass everywhere and overall its super loud in there.

Amazing new brewery and arcade. Beer was great and so was the milkshake. Awesome selection of arcade games.

Was looking forward to the experience but unable to drink anything. Dietary restrictions: No sugar free drink options available. Serve sugar loaded coke but no Diet Coke. Then thought ok get water. The water is self serve with open grab glassware. Not for me.

Noisy, ordering system odd. Pay at ordering makes 2nd drink option annoying so skipped it and left. Picking up your loan food removes any point in tipping. Probably set up for younger crowd. Would not recommend for anyone past 40.

I was really excited to do a company event at Encore and ended up very disappointed. We booked two lanes and scoring only worked for one of the two lanes. Half the group didnt get to bowl at all because they were trying to fix the lane the entire time and since they were booked they couldnt fit them in elsewhere are afterwards. The $22 dollar nachos has maybe 6 or 7 pieces of meat and a smattering of cheese. The potluck dipper had maybe 1 cup of dip with a ton of chips. Overall was overpriced and underwhelming.

Great place for Cranbrook! Good food and beer! Nice to see a place where young can hang out and older folks can have a beer.

They were able to accommodate our party of 15+ with no reservations which was fantastic. The pizza took a while, but was delicious when it arrived. The bowling was a fun time and the kids love the arcade. Definitely a great way to spend an afternoon/evening.

What a brewery. Not sure I ve seen a nicer brewery from a visually stunning perspective. It s so 70s, but modernized and cool. The staff are fantastic, beers are tasty and the pizza was scrumptious.

This is my new favorite place in Cranbrook. Great prices, great atmosphere, free pool, live music sometimes, really good beer, and the menu is simple but everything on it looks great. We had beef nachos and some pretzels and they were fantastic.

Clean cut & modern take on the previous bowling alley, with a handful of lanes, 2 pool tables, some arcade games, and a brewery. Great place to hang out, with food until close!

Nice spot, fun things to do and decent pub food (pizza, nachos etc). Bartenders are friendly, but getting drinks is very slow for a walk-up system. Problem seems to be two-fold - bartenders dont know the drink menu well (every time you order they have to check the menu to see how to make the drinks) and their beer taps are strangely slow. Its especially odd because the drink menu is quite small for mixed drinks and beer. Kid-friendliness: They have bowling, and a small selection of arcade and carnival games.

We all loved our food, and our server (Grace) was awesome. We gave the atmosphere a 3 because the music was too loud for us.

Super fun place!

A great place for any type of occasion

I work for Boys and Girls Club and today we took some of our kids bowling. We had a great experience! Rose was an awesome worker at Encore and assisted the kids in many different ways! I would definitely recommend taking your kids bowling at Encore!

Went there for the first time today and everything was perfect. Great atmosphere, great service (thanks Adam!) and more importantly, great beer! 12/10 would highly recommend!

Great place to hang out with or without kids. Lots of games, bowling, arcade games, and billiards. The pizza is fantastic! They use the spent grains from their own craft beers to make the crust! Delish! The staff is also incredible! I will definitely go again! Parking: Small parking lot but other places to park that are close. Kid-friendliness: Lots to entertain the kids.

Dietary restrictions: Encore brewery and bowling are amazing.!!! Coming from the mainland to lovely little cranbrook I didnt expect such thing as an established restaurant catering to gluten free etc. But Rncore pulled thro and not only do they offer gluten free options (INCLUDING THEIR DELICIOUS PIZZAS) but also vegan! Encore brewery is such a great place for family fun / drinks and tacos while bowling, pizza at the long tables and such incredible friendly service by mr. hospitality ADAM!! They have pool tables basketball and slot machines!! You got to try it out!! Parking: Huge lot Kid-friendliness: So very kid friendly!!! Even have glider ladders to help kids do their best!!

Super nice people and a fun vibe all around

We re so glad we found this place! Such a cool atmosphere. The beer was great and the service was top notch. We had a blast playing the arcade games and bowling. We enjoyed the place so much that we came back for a second time on our way back home to the US.

This was our favorite place to hang on our road trip! Retro decor and fun, laid back environment. Amazing beer, friendly employees, and the Pickle Pete pizza was delicious! We stayed for hours bowling, playing pool and arcade games. Our first time playing Five Pin and it was a fun challenge. Had to come back a couple days later on our way back through!

Lovely environment

This place is heaven on earth! The food and beer are amazing, and it s run by some of the best people we had the pleasure of meeting on our road trip back to the United States on the Canadian Rockies route! The staff, owners, and patrons were all so freaking cool! Highly recommend this place! The tacos were amazing, but you gotta be able to handle a little spice! The brisket was astounding, and the ingredients on all of them were so unique and hand crafted. We also LOVED the pepperoni appetizer. It s not your average pepperoni breadstick - it s gamey, smoky, and oh so delicious! Whether you are into beer, craft cocktails, milkshakes, pizza, tacos, or even bowling and hanging out with amazing people, this place is up your alley (pun intended). It literally made us want to move to Cranbrook!!!

Terrible customer service honestly Id give no stars if I could food was good but a very poor selection of overpriced food with nothing for kids and issues with most arcade games and no workers know how to work the machines bowling is nice but you are cut off mid game if you dont want to pay for another full hour

Not your typical brewery. But in the best way. Brewery bowling pool and homemade pizza using the spent grains from the brewery. Nice clean spot.

We stopped through Cranbrook during our vacation trip to Canada to meet some friends. Encore is a pretty impressive place! We thoroughly enjoyed the beer, pool and playing Canadian bowling for the first time! It s the place to hang out and have fun!

If I could give 2 and a half stars I would, I would consider 3 stars to be generous. I would say the drinks are above average. The service is below average and the food is average at best. I can spend a dollar or two more and get a sandwich with a side an any other restaurant in town. Never a good thing when you leave hungry. Atmosphere was alright. Could hear the people right beside me. And somewhat hear the person across from me other than that ight as well not pay attention to the conversation happening around you as you wont be able to hear it. Left with a minor headache from the noise. Expected it to be noisy as it is a bowling alley. The noise from the bowling was negligible all of the noise was from everyone yelling over eachother. Service was decent. It was counter service with buzzers for food. I dont mind the idea, but could be improved upon. Might be back in the future, but as we talked about when we left there are many other place we would go before going back to encore.

I feel bad for giving this place such a bad rating but I have to in hopes they improve. The atmosphere immediately walking in is very unfriendly and awkward. I ordered a drink (double) and when served it tasted zero alcohol, bartender then dumped one shot on top as she didn t know what she had done. My friend got a Moscow mule that was absolutely terrible. Shot glasses were only 3/4 full when we ordered our lemon drops, and everything was quite pricy and took a while to get our drinks. The place was quite clean and pool was free which was nice.

It was good, nice place, and theres literally no comparison to what our bowling alley used to be. They worked wonders with the decor in there. Its got a modern feel, but they worked in little hints of vintage bowling alley into it. Caught the vibe of stranger things as I was leaving. I Had a flight of beers, to try em all out, a pizza roll, played some ski-ball, then some pool, (which is totally free) had another pint, tipped the waitress, and I think it was like 40 bucks all in. Also did a growler fill a few days ago, and it was 2 quarts (almost 2 litres) of a nice craft brew IPA for 15 bucks, which ya just cant go wrong with

Best pizza I ve had perfect consistency

We rented out the space for a large event of 200 people, and it was really awesome! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. We ordered 70 pizzas to feed everyone and they were all delicious and up to the high standard weve come to appreciate from Encore!

I helped arrange a work party here and it was fantastic! The bowling is classic, the food tasted great, and the service - even on a busy night - was very good. Shout out to Grace who helped set us up with a group tab and explained how things could work best and smoothest. There were a few setbacks with my planning for the party but she was able to help our party out and made it a very enjoyable experience for our entire staff! 5* s - we hope to return!

Club and Reuben sandos were killer. Add a caramel milkshake, and you get 5 stars!

I find the place noisy, but that is common with repurposed facilities. The food, beer and service more than make up for the volume. Grace makes me feel at home and I always am grateful to see her smile. Everyone else is awesome too!

Probably the finest establishment in the city of Cranbrook. When it comes to management and customer service, this place makes you really feel at home. I will be back often!
