Being raised in a city where taking your family to the Fry truck(s) under the bridge was a long existing tradition meant that I spent my entire childhood taste testing some of the country's best Fry Truck Foods. No joke! I'm an expert! plus I can dodge a fry stealing seagull like a Olympic champion ;) Point is, I know quality when I come across it and we have it here In Cranbrook with the Last Great Fish N Chips stand!
You don't want to miss this stop! Best fish and chips I have had at any place. I highly reccomend the premium cut cod and the poutine fries. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were homade and delicious. Friendly service, fantastic food, and reasonable prices What more could you ask for?
Fantastic food with super friendly people!! The fish was cooked beautifully, beer batter was crispy & not greasy at all, and the tartar sauce is the best I’ve ever tasted! Everything is home made and you can tell. We’ll definitely be regulars here!
Literally the best fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. Everything is homemade and everything is amazing. The tartar sauce is homemade and is incredible, the fish was cooked to perfection, and the fries were absolutely perfect. For a $10 lunch special this is gourmet fish and chips.
I visit Cranbrook often and I was looking for a late lunch. I found this place on maps and was in the mood for some fish and chips. This place did not disappoint! The fish portions were the perfect size for take away and eating in the vehicle. The homemade tartar sauce is amazing and compliments the fish very well. The fries were seasoned appropriately and the coleslaw side was fresh and tangy. I will say the gravy was a bit light on viscosity and flavor but the seasoning on the fries compensated this fact. It also liquified once it cooled but this would only be a factor if you had leftovers. 😉👍
My first time visiting was today and I had the best experience. First of all, the customer service was spectacular. The guy who took my order was super friendly! I ordered a one piece fish and chips, I was surprised to see I was given extra pieces of fish since it was my first time there. Being from the east coast, I’m pretty picky when it comes to fish so believe me when I say this fish was one of the best I’ve ever had! The coleslaw and homemade tarter sauce topped off this amazing meal. I wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often. I can’t wait to visit again!
Super friendly staff and quality food. Fresh tasting fish that was not greasy and a thicker cut fry; homemade tasting coleslaw and a dill tartar sauce to top it all off! I will be back!
Excellent food. They were down a fryer when i went to try it so they were having difficulties keeping up with demand, but it was well worth the wait. I was running late for an appointment, so i only got a nibble in on my way, and it was crispy and delightful... Surprisingly neither the fish nor the chips went soggy after 45 minutes of sitting in the car and i enjoyed them even after a decent wait. Definitely ask for extra tartar sauce, though, because it's amazing and one serving is not nearly enough. I will definitely be getting this again, it's well worth the wait and the Price tag (they even threw in an extra piece of fish, due to their fryers being down) excellent customer service, excellent attitude, family owned, great food. Easily deserves a 5 star rating

Absolutely the best food In cranbrook, the family meal was huge we all ate and have fully bellys . Fries are perfect on there own, crispy perfectly cooked fish, crunchy fresh coleslaw, then there is the sause.... OMG!!! its heaven and goes with everything!!!Seriously GO HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, I promise .
Absolute must stop if passing through cranbrook! Great people and even better food. Fish and chips were very fresh and straight out of the deep frier. Prices where reasonable and head a great selection

Hands-down the deadliest fish and chip joint around! The Cod was epic, super light and flaky, literally melts in your mouth and the home made tartar sauce will rock your world. Would recommend anytime.
Tasty fish&chips! My husband liked the cod one more and I like the pollock better. Poutine was so good too! Both regular poutine and loaded poutine were good, but I wanna try just fries next time because I could tell they would be just perfect. Con: The food truck is located in a dealership parking lot, so there s no designated space for parking. I had to park at the neighbouring motel feeling a bit guilty

Opening day here at Cranbrooks newest food truck, and the crew are holding up well, delivering hot, fresh, delicious fish and chips, poutines, and fries and gravy. The food is great, but the line is long. We look forward to sampling the full menu soon!

Super good fish and chips, also pretty cheap considering some of the other places around town. Staff is super personable and make you feel at home. My dog also enjoyed the piece I accidentally dropped on the ground

This is the only place I have had phenomenal fish and chips the fish was awesome the batter was just phenomenal and the fries me personally I could have got for a little bit more fries but everything that cooks were for awesome very great friendly and I really really like it highly recommend this place if you want great fish and chips go there its worth the money

Service was excellent, they go out of there way to ask your name as well as introduce themselves which is a small thing that impacts so much well done on that. The food it s self was great but was a little salty but not bad by any means(no longer salty-edit). Would recommend if you are looking for a fish n chips fix.

Had haddock with fries and gravy, shared an order with my wife just to try it out. We both loved it; fish, fries, gravy, coleslaw and tartar sauce were all delicious. Staff was friendly too, noticed when I got home they gave me an extra piece of fish.
Awesome meal, we biked the Northstar trail from Kimberly to Cranbrook to have lunch here. Worth the pedal! We had the 3 pc cod and the 3 pc haddock- both excellent and loved the fat cut fries - crispy outside and just right inside!

Came here with my family today on a long roadtrip! Cranbrook was our final stop before heading back to Alberta and this restaurant was a diamond in the rough, Our roadtrip has had ups and downs for food but this place made our trip! Delicious Seafood with quality battering, Everything on the menu is simple and extremely delicious, Homemade tartar sauce, no grease in the batter! Nothing bad about our experience, please keep it up! You Rock!
