Skylight Cafe in Cranbrook

Hp sauce 1.50 hot sauce $1.50 You pay for a full meal and they charge for condiments...never again, loyal for years....

Glad I tried the Cranbrook burger of the month here. So big I had to eat it with a fork and knife, and every bite burst of flavour. I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

The Cobb salads ingredients did not match menu. Asked server for dressing on the side on both orders but that didn’t happen. 3 of 4 meals showed up together, 4 one served about 15 minutes later. The Liver was over cooked and dried out even after it was the last order delivered. Only 3 tables in use and still can’t get it right. Very sad. Won’t be back.

My fries were raw and weren’t cooked but the chicken was okay

Good quality food at a reasonable price. Not a huge menu but lots to pick from and includes an all day breakfast menu.

Food was not great service poor. Never asked if wanted anything else after main meal. Just given bill

Again, I had to return both my orders to kitchen to have cooked how I asked. Waitress was a trooper. I feel bad about it but don't feel like paying for food not cooked to my specification. I have been coming to this restaurant for years. I host a ladies Christmas party here every year. Come for wings 1-2 times per month. I would hate to have to find a new establishment to go to.

We had a horrible experience. All of our meals were incorrect, my 3 year olds meal never even showed up, my 5 year old got her meal 30 minutes after my husband and my gluten allergy was completely disregarded. After being told the kitchen "doesn't know what is in the beef or chicken breasts" I was given a plain garden salad. I tried to order a plain steak which came served on garlic toast AFTER I specifically said I had a gluten allergy. Our waitress could not be bothered to listen to details and we were way over charged. It was absolutely appalling.
