I ve eaten here a few times and have to say that the service that I received on Saturday, July 13 was exemplary. The individual taking my order (I believe their name is AJ) greeted me, asked if I d like any recommendations, upsold me on a combo and was just overall incredibly pleasant. Their service alone would bring me back! (Oh yeah, and the food as always, was great)

Tried to make substitution (as I have made many times in the past) was told no they have never done that, and wont do it. Food was good and hot. Asked for dine in was packed to go (find it harder to eat out of the take away) overall not the best experience my friends food was burnt.

Ordered Spicy Chicken Pad Thai, there was no spice. The pad Thai had no flavour and tasted very bland. Adding hot suave did nothing to improve this. I ve had Pad Thai from other places and they blow Wok Box out of the park. This cost me 24 dollars and I m not happy with my meal what so ever. Wok Box you guys have to sit back and try your food and change it.

The food was good. It was Friday so it was 10% off wing night! The wings were very good. My husband and I plans to go back and try other things.

I havent been in years but decided to try the other day. Food was ready really quickly and the veg was very fresh, staff were kind. Will be back again. Vegetarian options: The structure of each dish is made to order and you choose which protein to add so if youre not having meat thats not a problem. Parking: Dedicated lot right outside if the establishment.

saw MULTIPLE mice running around the cooking area and the guy cooking our food was shoving his hands right into the garbage then went back to cooking without washing his hands. barf.

Been here many times and not disappointed with the quality of food. This time i got a kung pao chicken with chow mein noodes (amazing) and my mom had a wor wonton soup she enjoyed. They still served us 10 min from closing. Truly appreciated. Thank you. Please keep up the great work!!!

They changed staff and my food is undercooked. Also it was quite difficult to order as I had to say date night deal 3x. Not sure how the quality went down so quickly

The noodles and rice both tasted like theyd been sitting out for a while and reheated. The spring rolls were complete mush and very gross. We spent over $50 for two people and both of us were unhappy with the quality. With the prices of everything youre better off going somewhere with real wok rather than fast food

The worst food this side of the Atlantic. They precook the chicken several days in advance then toss it in your selection of sauces. I hope I dont get food poisoning from partially eating what I ordered which was old cooked chicken and their excuse for a butter chicken sauce. Dont eat there!

Walked in at 845 and they said they that they were closed. Open sign on and door says open till 9. What gives? My subway I got next door was great.

Order from them today and got a staple in my food, completely unsafe. The order had a sauce missing and supposedly there was a 4pc spring roll for free which I did not get.

I would have loved to eat here but their debit machine doesn t have tap? In 2023 that s kind of a deal breaker, I never have my cards anymore let alone cash. A piece of paper and tape is slapped on the debit machine indicating they do not have tap. Not tap is broken but no tap I m pretty familiar with debit/pos/cc machines and their systems having worked in the industry for years, and the model they had is only a couple years old. It absolutely CAN take tap, that function has just been disabled or locked out, which is kinda sus. Two star is MORE than fair until that changes and I have a chance to eat here! Aside from that the menu looks pretty good for a small chain, and the restaurant appears to be clean inside. It is a small chain operation though, and like most chains from what I could see into the kitchen 95% of products are premade and dishes are just assembled in the wok. Nothing explicitly wrong with that if that s what you like, but worth mentioning.

Really was expecting more from my Crispy Chicken Rice Box. There was so much lemon glaze in the bowl that the rice was floating in it. I don t mind a little glaze, but this was more than necessary. Really had better expectations for this place. Maybe I got the wrong dish and other items would be better.

The wings they offer are a good size. They do have some grizzle on them. They were missing a few sauce choices. Service was slower than expected as being the only person who was placing an order.

We used to love eating here. We hadn t been in a while so decided to go for lunch today. They were out of ice (???) sriracha, and the pad Thai on the menu showed soy eggs and shrimp and it came with neither, but did come with broccoli and carrots. I was told we haven t changed the menu picture yet okay that s still a really strange pad Thai. It wasn t bad, just not what I ordered. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. The attitude from the person behind the counter was what got me. We won t be back.

the food sucked. my teriyaki chicken came with 1 piece of chicken and 2 pieces of broccoli with some wierd spinach? my butter chicken tasted like it was made with minute rice and it was over $25. not happy at all

A great place to recommend to people you hate. You know how bummed you feel when you spend a lot of money on horrible food? They cultivate that feeling here. The sauces are from a bag, the chicken is the cheapest possible meat byproducts on the market, the noodles are like sand, the atmosphere is postmodern misery but without any music. The food is prepared and served by staff that clearly know it s terrible. For the love of god DON T try this place. I just asked my dinner partner if this review was too harsh and received an emphatic NO!

Not bad I guess

Ordered Pho and a side of 4 spring rolls. When the order came in there was only 2. I asked about it and buddy said he put it in as a combo, and a combo comes with 2. They offered to get me 2 more, but I said no worries, it was cool. As I was eating buddy #2 came over to my table with 3 spring rolls on a plate!! What an awesome couple of guys! I added a bit more to the tip and thanked them for a great meal and fantastic service! Clean place, nice variety, very tasty food, great service!!

Since the location on Young St. in Halifax closed, when we are in Dartmouth, we make a detour to this location to get our fix. Love the fact you can get vegan chicken and soy eggs, not just tofu as your vegetarian protein. We also love their superior selection of Bubbly - they have way more flavours than anywhere else.

Web page and door says open till 9 pm I showed up at 8:45 and they were locked up and waved me away . You lost a customer for life Wok Box !!

Quick and tasty treat on the go. Various sizes to appease most peoples hunger. Fast, friendly service. A tad dirty, but nothing over the top.

Ive tried this place 4 times thinking it would maybe be better, its so bland no flavour every time.

Have ordered here before, but this long weekend decided to try the butter chicken. Never again. It has turned me off their food. The chicken was like boiled strips with painted lines in it. Sauce was terrible and rice was actually a rice ball. Waste of money!

On September 12th I drove 15 minutes to get there with ample time before closing to order for takeout. Listed hours said they close 7pm on Sundays. I arrived at 6:28PM and as I approached the door an employee came up and locked it and waved for me to go away. Not impressed. Will not be returning.

Purchased tofu pad Thai and chicken pad thai. There was absolutely no flavour at all. Within a couple bites we knew our money had been wasted. $40 for two sumo servings of the worst pad Thai we have ever had. I d even asked for extra spicy - there was no spice at all, no flavour - tasted like plain noodles. Experience was so disappointing, we will not return. Do not recommend.

Its way too expensive for what you get and its not that good. I got the Kung Pao chicken and it was bland, the chicken tasted old (it had a chickeny taste, like old fish has a fishy taste) and it just was not impressive. Hardly any flavor and nothing in it seemed fresh. I wanted to try other things on their menu but now I probably wont as its too expensive to possibly get something bad again.

They made my food in less than 10 minutes and it was great, staff was also very nice.

Terrible experience. Ordered off of skip - 50$ worth of food just for 2 people - half the order didnt come, wasnt given to the driver - my order was the one that came and it was very mushy and barely any veggies (which is what I chose as my protein option) - also it says that they have a gluten free option - I even noted in the comments for them to switch the spring rolls for something I could have but they just sent the spring rolls I cant even eat - just wow. I dont even know if its safe for me to eat

Awful service, awful food. Have had Wok Box in other parts of the country many times and was happy every single time. This location is awful. They made a large fuss over substitutions (actual, very serious allergies). The other order (when the person with allergies decided against ordering anything) was bland and oily. There are many other Asian-type restaurants to try. No need to go back here.

Soggy noodles with no flavor, veggies were yellow and some barely cooked in the sweet mongolian. The chicken wasnt too bad. Edit: Contacted them as they requested just to get an apology through an email... Umm okay? Apologies dont make your food taste any better.

Me and my friend tried buddha bowl. It taste excellent. I really liked the taste of tofu. Hope if they can add manchurian gravy with rice in there menu.

Their food is okay. Nothing special and is basically just another Thai Express. Their seating is nice and is always clean, although an older gentleman who has been seen working their for quiet sometime has very little tolerance or is not a good people person.

I dont get to have their food that often because my husband doesnt like it so when I get the chance I grab it. Food is fabulous and the shop is very clean. Staff are very friendly.
