Mary browns use to be my favorite place to eat and everytime i come i regret it instantly. First off my mary was just a chicken breast with no batter on it like seriously? It's not even butterflied just a big hunk of breast! Do better mary browns. Please re teach butterfly cuts and also stirring the batter between dips this is just plain sad !!
Never had a bad experience until today! Ordered a big Mary and got a plain piece of chicken on a bun. That’s it! No mayo or lettuce and my fave part the pickle! Didn’t see it obviously until getting home. Shocking! KFC from now on! Also emailed them as asked and no reply.
Very clean and layed out very well. The lady working was so friendly and the service was fast. The food is also great quality. The fries were fresh and the big mary chicken sandwich was so good. The bun was soft and fresh and the chicken was crispy and not greasy at all. Well worth it.
Can't give a rating, never received my delivery. UberEats refunded my order, but doesn't make up for the 2 hours spent waiting for something that never arrived. The let the wrong delivery driver pick up my order, and you can't call Mary Brown's because they don't answer the phone. I expect to see more than just a refund.
I only picked up my order, but the atmosphereseemed clean and well looked after. The issue was what we ordered on line. An " all white" meat "mixed spicy/original" batters box. I'm not a professional chef, but 2 wings, 2 legs , and 2 ribs is far from white meat...and zero spiced pieces was as far from what I ordered...and paid extra for. We really enjoy Mary's chicken, but have had better from some locationsthan others.so you may want to watch which location you order from.
Place is nice and clean. Lots of seating available. The service was great. The lady that served me was very friendly and made sure that I had all of the utensils and condiments needed. I liked this, because I find I always have to ask for condiments at other fast food places. So, I appreciated that. I got the Big Mary Original combo. The chicken was so nice and crispy and the overall delicious. The taters were also nice and crispy, but I needed to add a bit of salt to them. Overall a great meal on the go and great service.
9pc meal will run $50. Medium sides are about 3 spoon full (pictured). The chicken was moist and ok. However paying $50 for enough food to barely feed 3 of us and basically enough side salad for one person is crazy. I get it’s a “nostalgia thing” for some. However you can get super store fried chicken. More of it. Less cost and honestly I prefer the flavour.
The staff is very friendly the food is mediocre all though the chicken was crunchy on the sandwich today. I think this place would be a lot better if it was cleaner. It was not busy at all but every table was dirty. You know damn well after eating Fast-food you're gonna go blow up the bathroom. Which was a pleasant experience as the bathroom was very clean in fact it was cleaner than the dining area. (Note to self eat in the bathroom next time.)

I had a great experience here they had just made my order and handed it to me they realized they put pickles on my burger before I left caught me and made the correct burger but let me keep the mistake burger too, amazing staff. I have always loved Mary browns chicken though so. Haha

I m from Newfoundland and this is my all time fave location outside the homeland. The staff are amazingly friendly, the food is always accurate and hot and tastes just like home . Keep it up Cole Harbour!! Loves it!!
Most people have childhood memories of other fired chicken, mine is Marys browns and I can honestly say the changes they have made over the years has not greatly affected taste or quality. 9.5/10 Even the new big Mary is better than the old one. Chicken-great, sides-great, new stuff-pretty great. Theres usually a wait, but it shows how popular this place is and its worth having patience.
Just stood at the counter for 10 minutes in an empty store, absolutely no service! One staff member who saw me come in just sitting back with his feet up on a table on his phone. Must be on break. No wonder the store is struggling! Joke
Typical experience so no complaints there. I was disappointed to find out that the Thai Poppins have been removed from the menu. Without all the flavour of the Thai sauce these are simply popcorn chicken similar to KFC. Do better Mary Browns.

Recently ordered a spicy big Mary combo and was surprisingly disappointed. Thin, dry sandwich. Worst chicken sandwich Ive ever had, which given my past experience with Mary browns fried chicken, was very unexpected. Not sure if I got a dud one off or what, but was not satisfied. Cant recommend the spicy big Mary. The fried chicken was still amazing last time I got it though

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We ordered for pickup from the app. When we got to the store to get our order, we had a gift card that wasn t working on the app, so we figured it can t hurt to ask if there s something they can do to help us out since we d paid already by credit card on the app. We understand that sometimes nothing can be done, but we figured it couldn t hurt to ask. When we got to the counter, we nicely asked the girl if there s any chance we could change our payment method so we could put it on the gift card and not our credit card. We couldn t believe how rude she was to us!! She glared at us like we asked her to give us her first born and then, with the worst attitude, told us nobody even does that. I couldn t believe that asking a simple question warranted the attitude and look she gave us. We would ve been totally fine and would ve understood if she had said unfortunately we can t do anything , but instead she made us feel like we were idiots and looked at us with complete disgust. I hope the manager witnessed this encounter because we will not be ordering from or returning to this location again since their staff think it s ok to treat customers rudely and make them feel stupid.
Puts the chicken under the taters when you order so by the time you get home it s soggy and wet. Love that when I order fried chicken don t you!!?

A lot of time staff cannot be bothered to help the customer. Sometimes staff acts like they could not care less and do not help out the customer. Good service is hit or miss.

Went in to grab lunch a few days ago and an employee was just standing there at the cash working on something. Another employee in the kitchen looking out at me. Not 1 hello, can I help you nothing! Stood there for maybe a minute and just walked out. What ever happened to great customer service? Can t find it anywhere anymore. So disappointing.

Food is usually good but today, the chicken and taters were dry and overcooked. The gravy tasted like water. If this is the trend, selling watered down gravy with overcooked food, it will be my last visit to this Mary Browns location

Easily one of the best fried chicken sandwiches, its very consistent and the staff are friendly.
Great food...not greasy like the other chicken places in town. Staff so friendly and helped me out as when I arrived the power went out...we came to a decision on payment and off I went with a smile on my face and food to go in my familys belly. Plus they offer military discount which is always a bonus.

Got home with our order and was missing part of the order. Called and was told I didn t order that. I asked them to check my receipt and they would see that I did indeed order and pay for it. Then they said I could get that the next time I was in. That wasn t helping me feed 5 children who were visiting so I asked if they could send it to me and was told no but they d record in the book what they owed me so I could pick it up next time. I told them that wasn t going to help so could they just refund what I paid and didn t receive. They advised they couldn t refund part of an order so I suggested they refund the whole order. They couldn t do that either. Asked to speak to the manager they had been discussing it with but she wasn t there and could call me the next morning. I asked them to have her call me same day and of course didn t receive a call. Still waiting. Obviously I won t be returning.
The food absolutely carries this place. If the food was even remotely worse than it is now then I wouldnt come here again. Would definitely not recommend eating inside, just pick up and drive home.
Pretty slow service given the number of staff. Although for a rush hour felt there shouldve been more. Washrooms were gross and one was out of service or locked off. Very poorly organized

The blonde tall chick that works the cash should not be in customer service. I waited almost 5 minutes for her to take an order from the phone and then when she was done she just starred at me. Later when i got my order I asked for some ketchup, she rolled her eyes at me an tossed them over like I was taking her precious ketchup. She is what is wrong with the youth today entitled, lazy and rude.
Of all the fried chicken franchises in the area, Mary Browns is the best by a long shot. The food tastes great, and the taters are much better than the limp soggy fries from the other places.

Ordered on the app so that it would be ready when I got there or not long after. Waited 45 minutes after I arrived waiting for my food! After waiting almost 30 minutes I was asked what I was waiting for. When I finally did get home with the food, it was not made the way I had requested. Multiple people came in and ordered at the counter and got their food within minutes. I will not be back to this location. Staff also had little to no regard for the customers but spent a lot of time standing around and laughing while people waited.

I like this place! Especially for the Big Mary sale, they are $3.99 each on Mondays. I think they use smaller chicken breasts on Mondays though, so we up the ante and add tater poutines with curds. Deelish. Staff is friendly and fast! COVID Measures in place. A mask must be worn inside the building. I believe curbside pickup is available via the Mary Browns App
