Really feels like old school Halifax Chinese food. In the best possible way.

This place was very, Very dirty and definitely needs some cleaning and most likely another health inspection should done on the kitchen, But the food was really good and the woman there was awesome with good service and a feiendly demeanor, I cant go back unless the place gets cleaned up. Food

Forgot our order after we called it in for pickup. Waited 2 hours total for nothing. Called them and they didn t seem to care after I explained that I was asking where my order was. They didn t take any accountability.

This is the third time ordering take-out from here. Food has been great every time. Last time, we were told that the food would be ready for pick up in 14 minutes (yes, 14). Wasnt ready, more like 30-40 minutes. The girl was telling everyone 14 minutes.

Yes my experience was excellent great service friendly food was delicious very tasty I had combo nine the beef and broccoli was delicious sweet and sour chicken balls tender the egg roll was excellent light and crispy yes I recommend.

We ordered takeout from here because it was one of the only Chinese food places that had a menu on Google. And it was great! I think this will be our new spot. Thanks for the great food!

Restaurant area is a little neglected. But the food is good.

Warning dont order the Chow Mein. We ordered 3 and got a pile of canned bean sprouts. Tasteless and gray. Chicken Soup wasnt soup. See photos.

Had the #7 combo & was surprised by how good the food was. Chicken balls weren t dry and hard & the chicken in the side dishes was also super good quality & delicious. Rice was tasty. Veggies were fresh and well cooked. I don t often leave reviews but the food was really well done so felt like I should let others know incase you were on the fence!

Small little restaurant with very dated old furniture. Not sure how clean it is. Food was rather greasy, egg roll had lots of curry?no meat. Chicken balls were very greasy. Service was very friendly. Would not eat here again.

First time customer. Ordered carry out. Even after a 20 minute drive home, the food was still amazingly fresh tasting & the batter still crispy. It was nice to see sweet & sour sauce that was actually homemade, and flavourful as opposed to nuclear red, and sickenly sweet. The egg rolls were incredible, and clearly homemade. One thing about the HRM that is frustrating are the egg rolls are always filled with a weird meat paste reminiscent of cat food. The ones here were fresh with amazing seasoning, and the meat & veggies were distinguishable. The owner who took my order over the phone was so pleasant & humble. Definitely coming back

Excellent dishes always, I go often and its very consistent great food and service.

The food here is absolutely AMAZING. Their dine-in service is a little small/not as fancy as other restaurants but thats the only tiny flaw this place has. I got the dinner for 3 combo and a small won ton soup and it is SO much food. We paid around 60$ after tax and the leftovers are gonna feed me and my boyfriend another 2 times at least. The rice and egg rolls were soooo delicious, incredibly flavourful. We will be coming back very frequently!!

The shredded Szechuan beef is probably the best thing Ive ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant. This has been my go to Chinese food restaurant in Dartmouth for a while and Ive always had a great meal.

the food is delicious...but the restaurant is filthy...and I just cant seem to get past that...I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like...little things like painting the door to the kitchen or even entering the restaurant would make the experience so much better....Ive gotten take out probably 6 times because the food is really good...and the owners are so friendly...but geez...a bucket of mister clean would go a long way Parking: not a lot of parking but I always manage to get a spot

Very tasty and generous portions

Kim Feng was THE restaurant to go to for me. Best food around in my opinion. However tonight, they lost my business. I have allergies to gluten, soy and Im lactose intolerant. I called to place an order and was told that tonight, there is no changes being made. I even explained my allergies and was still told no. Really wish restaurants would get on board, no matter what day of the year it is, to accomodate customers with allergies.

Ordered chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, beef and broccoli, and egg rolls. Ordered for New Years eve. Waited a bit as they were ran off their feet but I couldve canceled and left but chose to stay for a few reasons. A. Its New Years and busy so I was very understanding. B. Their food was highly recommended by a coworker and a friend so I knew I wouldnt be disappointed. All 5 of our kids ages 2, 3, 10, 13 and 14 and both my husband and I are highly pleased with our food and find it very delicious. This is the 1st beef and broccoli I actually love. Other places I didnt like the sauce and the beef was too chewy. This place is perfect. We will def be going back and will gladly wait again on new years eve. I find the food here to be extremely fresh and clean tasting; not over-sweet, not greasy. We recently ordered the dinner for three. The chicken fried rice was tasty and had great texture. The chicken and pork dishes contained plenty of very fresh vegetables and the spareribs were also good. My only quibble is that I found all the dishes quite bland, but thats down to my personal taste. I like a lot more ginger and garlic and spices. For what it is though, its excellent, hence the 5 stars.

Best Chinese food we have ever had! I don t post things , hardly use Facebook but had to post this! The beef & broccoli was to die for! My husband is not a huge fan of it but loves it now! He ate most of mine! The spring rolls were amazing! There was a spice in it that made it incredible! The rice wasn t dry or over fried, it was so flavourful and moist, and the chicken balls were mostly chicken and not dough! Fantastic! The sweet & sour shrimp were amazing as well! No shell, all shrimp! The chicken sou guy was so tender inside and crispy outside! Unreal! Seriously best Chinese food ever! Even better than Tans! Can t wait to eat there again! I had to call them up and tell the owners how good the food was! The store itself is nice and clean and they were so nice. We got our food as takeout and it was still hot when we ate it! You have to try this place it is incredible! The prices are excellent for what you get, you won t go hungry for sure as good portions of quality food . I can t wait to tell all my friends and coworkers so they can eat here too! Thank you Kim Feng for opening up here, can t wait to try new dishes!

First time ordering from here. Very good price and portion size is great. We ordered combination plates, 3 extra egg rolls, also a soup for my husband. Pretty good for under $45! I still have enough left over for a meal tomorrow! Will definitely order again. Very pleasant to deal with too. We will be back!

Tried this place out for the first time this past Friday AMAZING!!! Those egg rolls are literally the BEST!! I have been trying to find a place in the city for soooo long that uses curry in their egg rolls and not that nasty paste Kim Feng has is all figured out!! Loved my food so much I ordered a different combo the next day and the food was just as amazing! Definitely found my new place for Chinese Food!!! Staff is unbelievably friendly and their food is phenomenal!!!

Picked up 4 combo plates. Food was ready at promised time, staff was friendly. Food was as ordered, and plenty of fried rice. Breaded sweet&sour items were very thickly breaded, and soggy in cloying sauce. Other dishes were fine, but supposed spicy hot dish was definitely not. Egg rolls were large-ish but not full of stuffing. All 4 fortune cookies were stale. Will not reorder from this restaurant.

I ordered 2 rice dishes and a curry noodle dish for pick up. The food was fantastic, large portions. This was my first order but will certainly order here again. Food fresh and very tasty.

Wow, that was the best Chinese food I ve ever had. I didn t know it could taste that fresh and flavourful. Egg roll was perfectly crispy and had a unique flavour. Rice was impeccable - not too dry and not too salty. Chicken balls were so pleasant compared to ones I ve had at other restaurants. Not heavy and such a nice texture. Beef and broccoli was such a standout, great amount of flavour and perfect level of crunch still in the veggies. Ribs were surprisingly so nice too. I have no complaints

Small restaurant with delicious food, good portions and good price. My family and I took some time to give it a chance, because it needs some work in Its visual identity and we never heard anything about it, but Im glad were feeling adventurous one night and it has such a nostalgic taste, that reminds me an excellent traditional chinese restaurant back in my city Recife, in Brazil.

Every time I go here it is amazing!! The customer service was top notch. Very friendly. Food portion sizes are huge!! Quality is some of the best I ve tasted around here. Egg rolls are definitely the best I ve had in all of HRM! I had to update this review because every time I go, the food gets better if you can believe it!!!!! I can t wait to go here again!!

Not impressed with food

Ordered takeout for the first time from here tonight and it was amazing! Food was so fresh, absolutely delicious and skillfully prepared. Not to mention great quality for value. Looking forward to ordering again, easily blows every other local place out of the water in my opinion. A true hidden gem!

A diamond in the rough ! my go to place just recently got a bad cook so I tried Kim Feng for the first time randomly and was pleasantly surprised definitely my new favorite place for Chinese food !

I went there for the first time the other night. The food was great, especially those homemade egg rolls. The staff was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend you give them a try.
