69 Alderney Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2Y 2N7, Canada
Traditional Irish pub with savory pies, occasional live maritime music & patio seating.
Had a great time here! I went here with a friend. We ordered the munchie platter, mac n cheese balls and the soft pretzel with mustard. Everything was delicious and the service was very quick and friendly. The amount of food in the munchie platter was fantastic for the price. There were 6 wings, 6 mozza sticks and a mountain of onion rings, tater tots and potato skins. It was all very crispy and not too greasy. The mac n cheese balls were very tasty as well. Rich and creamy with a crispy coating and a flavourful marinara sauce. We had lots to take home for leftovers. I'll definitely be back!
This was our second visit to this pub across the street from Alderney Landing. Our first visit was at lunch time and the pub was quiet and the food was great. This second time, the food was still superb, and worth the noise. Can't complain about the noise, we're the idiots who went to a sports bar during a rugby match! But mention it so other folks are aware. We had chicken fingers, Trinity Steak Boxty, and shepherd's pie, with sides of butternut squash soup, and all were exceptional.
Had a good lunch here. Got the spinach salad with the chicken. Service excellent and food was quick. I would go back.
A good pub where you can find not just what to drink but to eat well to. The menu is quite big and varied. The atmosphere of the pub without some deep entourage but well maintained(Wood will always be held in high esteem). I liked the small half-wall between the common zone and the bar counter - stylish and convenient to create a comfortable feeling behind you when you sit at the counter and still be in the common space. Friendly staff. The prices are normal. My wife and I ordered Tall Ship beer and a lemon tea. Pretzel with mustard. And Trinity steak boxty and Steak & Guinness pie for main dishes. In fact, for a $5 I would like 2 Pretzels instead of 1, but if you are taking it as a snack. If you are taking it as a bread for the main meal, 1 is more than enough. Both main courses were very tasty but it was a bit disappointing that they gave us the same side dish in them.
Just had a quick pint but my fella had the pretzel appetizer. Said it was tasty. It looked delicious but we were headed somewhere else for lunch. I say go give’r a try!
After a busy day I decided I would have a beer and check out the menu. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Perhaps I over ate a little. It was really good. Had the Lamb, wings (had to try them) and cheesecake.
Rooftop patio was great! Amazing view of Halifax waterfront! The fish and chips were massive and the spinach salad was delightful! We will be back next time we visit Nova Scotia!
I always walked around the Celtic house, given its close proximity to the Alferney landing, thinking I might go in and try their food someday. So one evening, I was able to convince my friends to join me after we saw they did have a vegetarian option in the menu. They ordered their burger with carrot soup while I ordered the chicken burger with fries. Sadly, all the burgers were quite bland and lacked flavors while having excessive oil in the chicken one. We also ordered nachos, but they were quite mushy and didn't seem the kind we were hoping for. We went in on a Saturday evening, so it was hard to find a spot. It can get quite loud. Our server was great, though. The food took a long while to arrive, but the place was packed, so it was understandable. Hoping for a better experience next time around.
Admittedly, we were a large group but after ordering our food it took 1.5hrs to get it.,
Nice friendly atmosphere and good music when they have it. Good good to. Try the seafood chowder.
I was parking in a no parking but loading zone what I believe to be the owner driving a Mini Cooper pulls up behind me it didnt notice my four ways on. Getting cuts and close to me giving me dirty looks not sure why either he doesnt understand parking spots or four way blinkers, he then parks in the parking spot out back for Celtic corner gets out puffs his chest up and stands there like hes gazing down at me trying to intimidate me like hes some kind of enforcer. Im not sure if he realizes how creepy that looks as you dont know if hes crazy, or if hes just trying to make a person feeling uncomfortable. If the staff there are so unhappy starting their day or so unhappy going to their job perhaps theres something that needs to be changed there. But in no way on your way to work pulling into your business should you actually give people a hard time that are legally stopped for loading and unloading.
Happy birthday to me! Wonderful service and the xmas decorations are a slay
Second time there and the food is great! It was crowded this time and still good service !
Just had the worst experience here!! Service was very very poor to start it all off. Undercooked fish, and plastic in the lasagna!! When the waitress was told about the plastic, she just looked at it with a dumb found look and then took the plastic, 5 minutes later comes back and says oh do you want another one , told her no thank you I m fine and yet she STILL proceeded to go back to the kitchen and get another lasagna made. 20 minutes later it came out, we put it in a box and then tossed it in the garbage. Didn t discount the bill for the inconvenience on the plastic in the lasagna, still charged full price!!! Mariia the server needs to learn how to deal with people
Worst restaurant experience I ve ever had, I would leave 0 stars for both the food and service. We sat in here for supper this evening. I ordered a lasagna, it came out with burnt plastic in the dish. I informed the server and she said oh . Sorry and walked away. She later came back to ask if it was in my lasagna and I showed her where it was. She asked me if I still wanted it and I said no, it was fine as everyone was done eating and it was a major turn off. She told me it was in the oven anyways and I could just take it home with me. She still charged full price for this and was absolutely horrid as a server. Beyond rude and from this experience I wouldn t recommend this restaurant!!! Mariia, you need to learn how to treat guests how come into the restaurant, and how to properly manage customers complaints for kitchen mistakes. No one wants to eat food with burnt plastic
Stopped in a few nights for a Guinness and whiskey. Great staff and a friendly, local vibe - theres always someone willing to chat at the bar. Live music several nights a week. Slaintè!
Food was good and server was great. I did catch a bar fly kept staring at our groups female friends and made them uncomfortable so we had to switch seats it was kinda creepy
The atmosphere is of a well enjoyed pub. I enjoyed an ample glass of Merlot and a delicious leeks and chicken pie. I ll be back.
Went here last week for lunch with a family member during Truth and Reconciliation Day. We were looking for some place different and I had heard good things so decided to give it a try. After joking with someone in the main restaurant about how you had to go through the Joseph Howe park and cross to the parking garage we ascended the stairs to a lovely rooftop patio. It was vibrant with some fun paint choices and decorations and some good music at just the right volume so as not to make it hard to hear conversation. The views of the city and harbor were amazing. It was also very clean despite there appearing to be only one server at the time. The server was polite, and well put together which you could see via his being well-dressed and groomed. He was knowledgeable about their service and able to answer a couple of questions off the top of his head. He was also very accommodating and had no problem with us switching tables before our food came due to being right next to some women who seemed to be enjoying a few spirited beverages that afternoon. I could see they were clearly enjoying themselves and I was happy for them but their boisterous laughter and chatting made it a little hard for us to carry on our own conversation. Our order was taken and our food was delivered in a very timely manner. You could tell the food was hot and fresh. I wanted to try something outside of my usual orders so I ended up getting a potato pancake which was filled with greens and steak strips. It was delicious and Im so glad I tried something different. My fries were also hot and fresh so really enjoyed them as well. My family member had the shepherds pie and commented on how it was the best thing they had had in quite some time. The server was polite and easily maked small talk while we were paying the bill. He managed to make my family member laugh at something witty he said. Will definitely be going here again in the near future. Parking: It is downtown Dartmouth so if youre expecting to find a parking spot at peak hours good luck. Parking is usually free in the evenings and weekends so thats a plus Wheelchair accessibility: I did not see a separate access to the patio besides the stairs that we took and if this is the case it might be difficult for someone who has mobility ssues.
Excellent food?great staff always helpful and happy. Great atmosphere when it comes to football (soccer?) Lol keep up the great work geof and pen..x
My husband and I were here for the first time, we decided to have a snack. My husband took calamari and beer, and I took salad and coffee. The calamari was very tasty, the sauce was warm (the first time we see warm sauce, in a good way). But the salad was disgusting, this is the first time I ve eaten such a tasteless salad corn house salad . The lettuce leaves were not washed, as I could clearly feel it on my teeth, and they were cut into huge pieces. In general, I didn t eat it. In general, this establishment is no longer for eating, but for sitting with company and having a drink. I don t like it, it s very noisy, not cozy. I would like to note that we sat outside on the roof, but there is also a cafe inside with live music. We were not there
Great location in downtown dartmouth. Friendly owners. Good food.
Walk around back to the upper deck the views here are great. Staff was very friendly.
The service was good, no wait time at all. Great place to hangout and has a great view of Halifax! Food
My boyfriend and I are in Dartmouth from out of town. We were told what a great place Celtic Corner was. We had only had two drinks each before leaving our hotel to go out around 9pm. We went in to Celtic Corner, were given menus and seated. When the server came ro take our order we asked about the price of a pitcher of beer. She disappeared for a minute or two, came back and told us we were too intoxicated and asked us to leave. I have never felt more belittled and disrespected in my life. Worst experience EVER!!
Great staff and lots of beers, five stars. But if you re hungry and like soup , this place has the Best soups in halifax dartmouth. No jokes. Best soup in the city. They make different soups all the time and today I had the Italian meatball soup and it was amazing. If it s chilly out or maybe it s warm out and you want something tasty , you gotta try the soups here.
Great little spot. My wife, daughter and I visit on Monday. The service was great and the atmosphere was good.
Wonderful place with a warm welcome Owner and staff so attentive Had a blast here Even when my wife lost her glasses the owner couldn t do enough to help find them Thank you so much for your great hospitality Btw lake city cider and bloody ceaser were amazing
Atmosphere was nice and good for a couple drinks. Food was good but not anything to brag about or that I would get again. I was there on a Tuesday night and they have open mic comedy. So stayed for a bit of that. Was okay. The bar tender was nice and friendly.
Excellent the Irish stack beef burger a signature dish is the best Ive eaten. The salmon signature dish with a cream & dill sauce was also delicious. This venue is highly recommended. It also had a live band, what more could you ask for!! They serve Kilkenny beer night complete. Im a Welsh man (Celtic neighbour) on holiday..
Had the grilled salmon with creamy dill sauce; absolutely delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Great place and very friendly and nice staff
Waited well over an hour to get food. Food was just OK. Very busy for the staff on hand.
My group booked a private room and was treated very kindly with the server being so friendly and made sure we were all happy.
Had the chance of visiting this pub for dinner on my trip to Halifax, and I felt very lucky to be there!! Delicious food, we tried the steak and Guinness pie as well as the fish and chips, and they were amazing! We also had the pretzel with mustard as well as the honey garlic wings to share, which were good also, but the mains really stood out! Very authentic public house vibe as well! The bartender/server was amazing as well, I was able to tell him what type of beer I liked and he brought me a great selection, I loved all of them, and he promoted local breweries which is always nice! Would definitely come again next time I am in town!
Get your $10 draft beer elsewhere. Overrated in general very unfriendly state.
A great spot to eat, drink and relax
This place is perfect! The food, the area, and the view were all amazing! The service was also top-notch! I would definitely go again.
Great prices. Went boozin and was pleasantly surprised.
I came here to enjoy company and drinks. The food is, as youd expect from a pub. I enjoyed the club sandwich and soup of the day. My friend pointed out that The Shepards Pie is supposed to have lamb in it, not beef. But I believe they were just getting pedantic over nomenclature on the menu. Food
A wonder venue for an old friends wake... thank you.
Ive been here in the past, and its always loud and busy, very much an Irish pub, if you want a pint and a loud conversation its the place for you, if you dont want to yell at your neighbor, go somewhere else. This time I got their tower burger and onion rings. Tho the burger comes with bacon, cheese, onion rings etc etc, itsseriously lacked in taste. The burger itself was burnt, I had to check to see if there was actually cheese on it as I couldnt taste it. They dont butter the bun or use any condiments, everything was falling off. I told my server after 3 bits I didnt like it and it was burnt, she said shed tell the kitchen. I attempted to eat it, but left more than half on my plate. The server took some time to come back with our check after I had told her I was unhappy with the meal. They took 15% off the bill, I wasnt even offered an alternative. For this reason I wont go back, Ive worked in tourism and hospitality for the majority of my working career, and this is not how you make a return customer. Their management needs to do better and give their staff the ability to make things right.
Food is always good
Loved it, great food and service
Cosy pub in old Dartmouth. One piece fish and chips was delicious, cooked to perfection and quite sizeable. Recommended! Parking: Some parking out front in the street. Parking in much demand. You dont have to pay after 6pm on weekdays or all day on weekends.
We stopped in as there was a soccer match on. The place was definitely busy. We ordered the haddock tips which was just that and nothing more. No side to go with it just the fish and it was only so so. Better options in the city for sure. We also ordered the pulled pork which came with french fries. The pulled pork was ok but the fries were terrible. A place like this should cut their own fries versus serving this low quality fries that we on the plate. Would set them apart from other locations. We will be back as the atmosphere was electric and service was great but wouldnt bother with food other then maybe nachos which looked pretty good. As always I recommend trying the place for yourself as your experience may be completely different from mine.
Great place. Food is absolutely terrible though. I keep trying, and its always very bad. Steak sandwich was brutal
Nice place to hangout with friends, service was great and atmosphere is just perfect for dinner.. Wheelchair accessibility: There is front door that allows for wheel chair
Save your time and money.
I had the burger during Burger Bash Week and it was exceptional! Although the service could have been more attentive, it didnt overshadow the overall great experience.
The worst !!!!! The Worst!!!!! Nothings worse than this place. This was the worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life. Go here if you want to pay for something and cant eat it. I went there for lunch with my friend. We ordered Fish & Chips and the RISH ROUND TOWER BURGERS. They were so greasy and smelled bad, that we couldnt eat them.
Definitely the worst! poor!!!!! These were greasy, smelled bad, and had no fresh fish. The score is zero It was the worst food I have ever eaten. the food was really bad. the atmosphere really bad! Food : 1/5
Food was ok, drinks were good.
Incredible service and amazing food at reasonable prices.
Skip the food.
Oh yeah They really need to print out the booze and drink menu. Crowded place and they make you stand in front of seated customers to read their drink list posted on the wall. Oh but the server will tell you what they have, all of it. Oh yeah that doesnt make anyone uncomfortable. Great food. Excellent server attention and service.
Great Music!!! Good Food & Friendly People... everything you would expect in an Irish Pub
A good place to have a quick drink +Tasty, crispy French fries +Fast and friendly served -No drinks menu except beer and cyder handwritten on the wall -Dirty table, wet glasses stains -Smelled vinegar from somewhere
Their server oliver is rude and immature. Also talks bad about customers to other customers, really unprofessional.
Excellent food and service. The Chicken Club is a most try.
Great spot. Great Caesars. Could have more consistent live music tho. Longer Matinees, and better bands would be nice but it s a good spot overall. Food
My friend & I had lunch here. I had the Dine Around menu & it tasted ok but the spicy shrimp were very sweet, not spicy & it was deep fried so very heavy. My friend had the Mexican burger ( I would ve had a burger but they were too gimmicky) & she found it lacking flavour & the salad that accompanied it was mostly lettuce with very little else. The service was good. My main issue was with the cleanliness or lack there of. It must be hard to keep that type of floor clean but I saw a big clump of dirt & hair on the floor, not under a seat or in a corner but in the main area. The restrooms were dingy & seemed not very well cleaned. Not a complete write off but not somewhere I d be in a hurry to come back to.
Have been going here for years Theyve never changed and I think its great Food
Was here last night for food and drinks with my friends and we had the best time. Our server was Oliver and it was genuinely the best service I ve ever had. He was so nice and funny and helpful with the menu, as well as super efficient with our drinks. As a server myself I took notes on his service, he was incredible!!
Large work party, couldnt have gone any better
Bartendrts are really alert. Overall, really good pub atmosphere. I will be going back. Bernie!
Honestly this place is hit or miss on the service and food. Last time went in bartender was engaged and food was decently prepared. Could go back tomorrow and have the exact opposite experience.
It was great. The music. The food. I loved it all.
This place used to have really good food but its changed a lot. I had the calamari, and it was like rubber covered in sand. My main was the salmon, and it was very dry. I was in Dartmouth to visit my family, and was really excited seafood in Nova Scotia, but was very disappointed. That being said, the staff was nice and the place was cozy and lovely.
Pub atmosphere. Only been there 4 times but all 4 time food was great Food
amazing environment.. live music.. helpful staff.. and nice food too. very good beers! Recommended dishes Burger and Fries, Club House Sandwich, Chips
Great place, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff!
Went for lunch two days in a row while working in Dartmouth. Had the Lamb curry and Steak & Guinness pie. WOW. Everything tasted amazing. Staff was excellent. Cant wait to go back for more.
Emma is the best waitress EVER!!
Appies were not very tasty, and over priced...disappointed for our group of 6. Washrooms were a mess floor tiles were off or loose, one toilet was out of commission. Music is usually great. I think they need to put some time into their Washrooms and app menu. Nice atmosphere here but need to do some work.
Great down town pub. Great selection of beers. Good pub grade food and a wonderful atmosphere where you can sit and talk. Will go again 100%
Awesome spot. Amazing staff.
Best chicken leek pie EVER in EXISTENCE! And also the burgers are amazing and the fries are nice and crispy, never soggy AMAZING
Good staff and reasonable prices. Good to see a pub that the public enjoy. Vegetarian options: California Wrap
Love this place. So friendly and food is yummy, large portions!! Today...March 12th. My 87 yr old Dad and I are back from Celtic Corner. He asks me what I think of the restaurant we went to. I said yum. Dad? At least an 8 out of 10. Too cute
Enjoy this spot. Was disappointed when last call was at midnight on St. Patricks Day.
We had the mixed platter of appetizers, cod cakes, and a skillet. It was all delicious with decent portions. Our server was friendly and attentive.
Cute spot
Great pub experience! Food was delicious, wait staff is supper friendly!
I come here every other month or so for their seafood chowder.I think the first time I ever had it was back in between 2015 and 2017. Simce then, Ive had the chowder at Boondocks, Pilots Pub, The Triangle and Dirty Nelly to name a few.. and Celtic Corner takes the title for best Seafoos chowder in my opinion. That insanely delicious tra biscuit they pair it with is incredible! Recent visit, my mom had the lamb & rice (she is gluten free) and we shared the calamari. Also delicious Hope to be by again soon in another few weeks. Thanks again Cetic Corner, for maintaining such excellent quality
Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! Dont be fooled into thinking it is just a pub, the food is incredible, and to drink, they have more than just alcohol present.
Friendly little pub with great service.
Good fish, great cesar salad!
Food & Service ! Lasagna, Salad, Chowder, Shepards pie, all delicious. Large selection of Beer on tap, many local. Plus old fashion Service, where they continue to return to the table in case the customer requires more.
Great local pub feel. If I lived local Id be a regular for sure.
Awesome place, good food and shows the footy games, highly recommend.
Had a great time watching the soccer game.
Great little downtown pub
Asked for a bottle of colors light was told they had none then they served 3 other people a bottle of colors light after me. So I finished my drink and probably wont go back.
Great place
Signs up for special. No special. It s a Garrison night . Wouldn t offer other drinks even though other tables were enjoying the special. Not inclusive of all people or gender. Please do not go.
go straight to their patio in the summer
A Dartmouth classic!
A soup of the day A delightful minestrone A Guinness on the side Could one ask for more Staff with a great attitude
Ive been to the bar off and on for 12 years since Ive lived in dartmouth, today on the patio we asked to move under an umbrella to finish the meal which was 98 dollars, but there was a line up (there wasnt one person) normal service would be to move the people that are eating until they were finished in 10 minutes. I like supporting local businesses, but the service on the patio has noticeably gone downhill.
The food was really good! The server was super nice! The manager was not very professional. Id give him 0 stars. Sir needs to calm down and treat his staff with respect and dignity.
I love Celtic at night don t go before 8pm it s not it, make sure to get a whisky sour :))))
Great food and service
Been a few times, however this time the service was awesome. The food was good, the atmosphere was getting ready for trivia night. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Never had the food but the drinks are fresh and the service is great..Shout out to Adrian who is a great bartender. Tuesday night they have an open mic comedy night thats free/pay what you want and its always fun. Pro and amateur comedians.
Loved it! So calming Food
Despite how busy it was, we received outstanding service from all the staff. Well done!
Trivia is always great. Food specials would be welcomed.
One of my favorite bars in HRM
Waittress was professional and efficient. Also very polite :)
Not bad, over priced though. The chicken tenders were tiny, seems like they cheaped out on the portion sizes since last time I was there. Calamari was very average Service was good though
I had a half Clubhouse sandwich. That was delicious. I had Hot&Sour soup with it. The food was very good and I like that you can make substitutions for fries or potatoes with soup or salad. I find eating too many potatoes and bread exhausting to think about. Sluggish my former. I kind of felt rushed out of here or not welcome. I think that it is because I ate by myself, as I prefer to do everything alone. I didnt get a chance to tip my server because I was her last table and I guess that she didnt care for the tip. I had planned on tipping big too. She seemed like a very respectable young lady who was probably saving for college or university. The girl next door kind of looks, prettier than most others in that demographic as viewed through my simple man eyes. Ill try this place again a couple of months down the road. I mean Coronation Street
Always have great service and tasty food!! Friendly staff and fun atmosphere!
great beer and football on tv !
Excellent food and service!
Awesome Gluten-free Curried Lamb Stew and Wednesday night trivial pursuit.
It was my very first time visiting this place. I had a really good time. The only reason that Im giving service a 4.5 out of 5 is because of the fact that it was busy, they were swamped, and there were several moments where we tried to flag down a wait staff, and nobody was able to come to help us for a basic drink refill. The wait staff were great overall. The cosmo martini was not great. The cider however was awesome. Great suggestion from waitstaff. Water quality is not that great - I would suggest just a slice of lime or lemon to mask the cholorine taste (this is very typical of city tap water). Vegetarian options: Several dishes. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, the main level is accessible from the front street. Rooftop is not accessible however.
I finally found out about the patio! Such a good view of Halifax. Good food and good times
Friendly staff. Good food. Great atmosphere.
Worse customer service wont be back... had to come home to cook my supper because the waitress/server couldnt be bothered bringing what we ordered. When I described the meal I wanted us to order she agreed it was the fish and chips and I showed her the piece of fish with my hands this big and she agreed that it was this big and can cut it in half ... ....you cant imagine my shock then annoyance when she served something else and I was so angry I eat my 8 fries and 2x1 inch piece of fish and left the restaurant to come home to cook supper. I was with others which stopped me from sending it back... But this waitress is suppose to know the menu ans better than me I stated several times the fish and chips this big and I showed approx 10 inches and agreed with me so she knew she brought the wrong thing.. Had I been on my own I would have sent it back. IT was clear she couldnt be bothered taking the order properly and if we didnt know what it was she had the onus to educate us she chose to just order the wrong thing ....Unpleasant experience and unenjoyable meal as it was the wrong meal... She agreed with me when I said the particular meal of fish and chips. The meal she brought was not worth the cost and certainly could only split it with a child... it was not a piece of fish this big!!!! Never in my life have I ever had to go home and cook supper after I bought supper. Maybe CC has gotten complacent that it now rides on its laurels and forgot what servers are supposed to do and that customers expect to get what they ordered. I left citing I had a meeting I didnt have so I didnt upset the others supper but I had to remove myself from my company because I was so angry at such incompetence that ruined my meal and experience .To actual force to eat the meal I didnt order to have me so angry I couldnt talk.... I did speak to the server before I left and of course she had excuses yet those at my table heard what I ordered... and seen I didnt get what ordered
I ordered the appetizer platter, and the onion rings, potato skins, and wings were all over cooked , so much so I couldnt eat them. I did not complain at the time as the waitress was very overwhelmed, and we went there based on our friends(who were with us) recommdation and did not want to make a scene.
We had great service as well our meals were very good. Atmosphere was louder than wed like but it is a pub and people like to talk! Great entertainment made staying a little longer after eating enjoyable.
Cozy place ! Home away home
Love this pub, always great food and great people..
Great food and service. The staff are friendly and courteous. Good atmosphere. Will be back again soon.
It was recommended by a friend as a new place to try being we are new to the province . Definitely would recommend as it s a nice cozy atmosphere , friendly service and great food and menu selections .
Great local pub. Good food and atmosphere.
We had a large party. The server kept the drinks coming, our food arrived quickly, and it was delicious!
But the bar flies are expecting me, moe barney, and that guy who calls me bill.
We like the place and have been there may times. But the last few times the food has been very poor. Fish was not fresh. I had the Corn Beef and cabbage. No flavour. Vegetables not cooked.I ate the cabbage and carrots. Sent 76% of my plate back. All they did was take 20% off the bill. Wont be going back. Parking: Had to walk a distance from where we found a parking space
Wanted to acknowledge our waitress Emma. It was Aug 2 I do believe ( april wine concert) the patio was very busy, low staff & some unpleasant customers. Emma was very professional, patient & friendly during this chaos. I have worked in retaill for over 35 yrs & her customer service skills were excellent. Thank you Emma.
Best food Ive found during my visit to Halifax. Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Pot pie was incredible.
Tasty fish and chips with good selection of beer on tap. Good place to watch World Cup soccer. The place could use some new stools to replace worn out wobbly ones and a heater in the men s washroom. The atmosphere is dated but has a level of charm and classic Irish pub feel. Will return.
Food is awesome
Food and service were great!! Menu is quite varied Food : 5/5
Great place for a pint!
Another office lunch spot, and perhaps the occasional after work libation
Love the vibe in this place. Excellent service, too.
