Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Dartmouth

Big family outing for lunch last weekend to up 26 seats. The waitress was amazing. A guy dropped off drinks. We had our own run because of the group size and were a bit loud, Im sure. Excellent service. Great food! Vegetarian options: \ 1 Dietary restrictions: Not too much, but low calorie meals are available. Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere dining area or bar/lounge area with tables. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance with ramp and hand rails. There are no electrific doors, though.

Jacob was a friendly, knowledgeable server who was able to anticipate everyones needs. Great visit

Everything came out perfect, the food was delicious and had divine seasoning and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant deserves 5 stars Vegetarian options: Im a vegetarian and I really liked it, because we have the option to say what we dont want on the chosen menu. Its very difficult to find tasty vegetarian food like I found here at this Oliver Gardem restaurant. Parking: I found it perfect and safe Kid-friendliness: I really liked the place, because it is great for families and especially for children. My children loved the place, the decoration and the food.

Our server Jacob was the only exception to our terrible dinning experience, food was terrible and bathroom needs some cleaning.

The bartender/server that was on tonight, 11/4/2024 was acting like we kicked her puppies.. so miserable. She didn t check on us ONCE; we ended up paying on the kiosk (should ve just ordered everything off the kiosk at that point) because she never came back to the table after dropping off our food. Never asked us if we wanted dessert & we also had to ask the host for boxes because the bartender/server was nowhere to be found. We felt incredibly rushed tonight & uncomfortable tonight. Wish I caught her name but she barely even greeted us.

Had a longer than usual wait mid afternoon due to small staffing, but excellent

We had the best waitress ever she was on her game she kept the drinks flowing she was very kind and gave us extra breadsticks to take home the food came out hot and the salad was crisp and fresh definitely a top place to go

I got the new garlic and herb rigatoni and it wasnt that great. Had barely any taste and was more of a oily sause not a creamy one. The bread sticks were really really salty, so was the crispy chicken I got in my pasta. I ended up ordering something else the 5 cheese ziti al forno and it was ok but the pasta was dry and it wasnt as good as I remember a few years ago. The waitress was wonderful so nice and helpful and gave great advice on deals. Overall its an ok place to eat but for two people who ordered the bottomless pasta, bread sticks with the dipping sause, salad, a water and a raspberry lemonade it came out to a little over 52$ which i think is insane.

Service was very poor, girl was as slow as molasses..

Shrimp fritto misto appetizers was way above expectations will definitely order again shrimp and chicken corbonara is delicious add a Italian sausage to it even better.

Our waitress Jennifer (from Aguadilla) was amazing, best experience I ever had. Prior to her we did not have good experiences ! Thank you for being kind and on point to me and my big family !

The food was okay, not enough alfredo sauce whatsoever, there was no flavor at all. The noodles were very dry. The breadsticks came undercooked, over proofed and no flavor as well. It seems like they took them 2 hrs after taking off the freezer/ fridge to defrost and cooked them either too long or too little time. They were double the size of the usual breadsticks. i visited Saturday evening 7/20/24. Completely disappointed with my experience. Truly wish I went elsewhere maybe a different location.

I enjoy the food at this restaurant, and the portion sizes are just right.

My 7 yr old was the last to eat... people we were with got their food and were done before we even got our food.

Food was good and I really enjoyed my margarita

The service was great and food was delicious, however i did notice one of the managers I believe to be named Tammy was very rude to some of her workers. She was talking to them with extreme incompetence and does not treat them with respect, I question supporting a business with managers that treat their employees this way!!! It seems that she played a favorites system and does not treat her some of her servicers well at all!

The bride and groom to be. Had reservations and this place. 14 people, which was supposed to be taken care of. We showed up? No water or bread sticks were on the table. The menue was already picked out. That wasnt ready. Almost 2 hours, we all sat there starving. I went up to the manager and told her this was unexpecteable. She tried to argue, but she didnt win. I will never go again. . Parking: Located to park. Wheelchair accessibility: I know its wheel chair access.

Food was awful

The steak was cooked perfectly, the Alfredo sublime, the wait staff was friendly and quick, the atmosphere was reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside and transportive. A lovely dining experience.

I would give this place a better review but I have to say, not everyone likes sausage meatballs or meat sauce. I like a beef meatball with my pasta. It should be made an option. I think the sausage ones are awful.

Entree was good, bread sticks were stale usaly its much better, calamari was like rubber. First time i came calamari was better, waitress tosses plate onto table like a frisbee

Unfortunately today s visit for lunch turned out to be a failure. Sorry Olive Garden. I have to give you an F on the entrée I ordered shrimp scampi which I have ordered several times in the past The pasta was so over cooked it totally broke into small pieces and so soft no palatable. Thec scampi sauce had so little flavor. The only good thing about this meal was the chicken gnocchi soup The service and the atmosphere is fine but I m sorry the food was an absolute failure today

We went to the restaurant with our 2 grandsons. The waitress came to our table immediately. The four of us had decided before we arrived what we were ordering so we gave her our order before the waitress she left our table. My husband & I ordered the endless soup & salad. While 1 grandson ordered spaghetti with butter, the other grandson ordered a pizza which was a store bought prebacked pizza pie on which they put sauce, cheese, onion and fresh green pepper. Immediately, the soup & salad arrived. However, our grandsons dinners arrived after my husband and I had finished our soup & salad.with an additional 10 minutes to wait for our grandsons dinners to arrive. I did not receive a satisfactory explanation of what caused a 30 minute wait for 2 simple meals. The manager tried to tell me it was only 15 minutes. We arrived at 1;30 pm placed our order at 1:33. My husband & I received our salad 5 minutes later. Then, our soup 5 minutes after that. 20 minutes later, our grandsons received their meals. She offered to take both of their meals off the bills. I said that was not necessary. She said thats all she could do at this point. I accepted her compensating us for just 1 of my grandsons dinners which I felt she needed to do more than I needed her to do it. The most annoying part of this whole experience was hearing the manager say that the boys meals arrived in 15 minutes minutes not the 30 that we waited. If she had stopped and given this any real thought, she would have asked hers3lf how we consumed our dinners in 15 minutes , I believe that the order for the boys was misplaced in the kitchen. Certainly, it prevented us from enjoying a meal together as planned.

Something is going on with the pasta here. I went a few months ago and the fettuccine was hard like it had been sitting out a long time. Then a few weeks ago I gave them another try and the pasta was so hard again idk. It s a lot of money for food that isn t consistently good.

Our last time was a complete letdown to the point we waited months to give OG another chance, but this time Richard went above and beyond what was expected to make this an incredible dinner. The guy knows his business and is attentive, patient and always wears a smile on his face. The food was soooo much better, clearly made by someone who loves food and who loves making great food for others! We will absolutely be back and thank you again Richard and the staff at OG for making this such an amazing date night! :)

Haven t been at Olive Garden in years First time back, not a good experience at this location waitress was nice at first, utensils and cups were not properly cleaned, once served my pasta there was a hair in it two hairs matter of fact, and I let the waitress know after waiting on her to come to my table for about 20 minutes then for her to tell me that it was a burnt cheese, I proceeded to ask for a new one Second bowl of pasta was a completely different pasta than I had asked for, but I stuck it out. Second dish was a chicken Parm in the chicken inside was black and red. I also ordered a cheesecake which was hard and felt like it was there for days. It was dry. Server did not even apologize. Had attitude after. she was an older taller woman with stiff blonde hair I do not recommend this location to no one.

People can say what they want to say about Olive Garden but the food is really good. Their Zuppa Toscana, Alfredo dipping sauce with breadsticks, and their Chicken Scampi was delicious. The waiter was a very courteous young man who was also very attentive.

Our server Ambra was witty and warm. She made the experience unique and special. Food

My wife and I love going to olive garden im a huge fan of Italian cuisine and simply cant get enough. Our date was made very special thanks to a very attentive waitress. We will definitely be going again asap

Our waitress was amazing. The food was perfect.

The server never asked if I wanted cheese. I told her I did not like the machine to check out with and asked her to ring it up, and she then put the card in the machine and turned it to me and said, Finish it.

Unfortunately I am not able to share details of the dining. We were seated and waited for 45 min never even seen our waitress once. Horrible service absolutely terrible never again. Other waitresses kept walking by watching us twiddle our thumbs completely ridiculous.

Soup was fantastic, pasta was decent. Absolutely terrific service.

My FIRST experience EVER at the Olive Garden and it was AMAZING! Thank you Jennifer for being so above and beyond, your service is very much appreciated! The food was incredible. I ordered chicken gnocchi soup and I loaded it up with cheese which tasted divine. My entree was Chicken Parmigiana and they gave me enough to eat two meals. The breadsticks were also very tasty, especially after cheesing up the gnocchi soup and dipping it like a cheese sauce but I didn t get to test out how unlimited they are as I got full and had plenty of left overs to take home.

Smells like pee in there, either the carpets are never washed or the tables are cleaned with dirty water but idk how anyone can eat here when the smell alone is very off-putting. The food itself isnt too bad I never had ay issues with that, staff are nice unless its busy.

Who doesnt know about Olive Garden by now. Yes, they are pricey, but the food is good, and when you taste it, you can tell that it was prepared by good hands.

Isaiah, the waiter held the perfect balance in being conversational and attentive. Vegetarian options: I had the minestrone. I think because I do not add salt to my meal, it was too salty for my palate.

The breadsticks were okay, l had the lunch-size lasagna and it was delicious and sized correctly. I hear this location is the best in Massachusetts, I believe it!

But very slow waiting

Everything was amazing, except for the Tour Of Italy. Lasagna was pretty good, Alfredo was cold and non saucy, and the chicken parm was okay, but it s boring without pasta. The whole staff, especially the manager and the waitress Jenna, (best waitress I ever had.) were fantastic.

This is our favorite Olive Garden!! Weve been coming here for years. Food is amazing, and the staff is friendly and professional. The rare times weve had hiccups with our orders, they were very good in resolving the matters. Keep up the great work, Olive Garden Dartmouth!! And thanks for last nights amazing take-out order :)

Its my husband and I first time ever to come here and its our 16th wedding anniversary our server cley and julia made us feel so welcome and comfortable and was very helpful

We took my grandma for her birthday. She has dementia and couldnt understand the different pastas. The waiter went out of his way to bring each of the different noodles out from the kitchen to show her. It was amazing service I havent seen anything like that before.

Came here for dinner, been about a year since coming to olive garden..... I have never had a waitress argue with me... very unprofessional.... if u have a promo going which is 1399 all u can eat pasta.... i order literally chicken alfredo and she charges me 1999 only thing i had extra was broccoli which is a up charge of 349. Im a waitress and i would have offered the special and still rung it in as all u can eat pasta and added the broccoli. Then ask for the check as im payung cash... snapped back yes it in front of u.. i wanted a paper recipe 2 pasta dinner 3 drinks for 70 dollars really oh and my 5 dollar dipping sauce 70 bucks.... really poor service... short girl blue hair tattoo up one arm yes never again will u serve us customer always right no matter what honey cakes... she said i got three jobs i dnt know how when u speak to ppl the way u did me... i paid the full amount and still tipped her and walked off..

Good service, a little expensive food is great

Will never go again! Food was awful. I ordered a simple dish, grilled chicken alfredo. Took them 3 times to get it right. Time I recieved it, my wife finished her meal. The dish had no flavor and tasted like it was simply microwaved. The waiter actually said, Im sorry the food sucks! They did nothing to compensate for the inconvenience. This place is the Italian restaurant version of fast food. Disgusting.

Stopped for a quick. Waitess was fantastic, lunch was excellent, bill was cheap. Always love the salad there. And bread sticks.

Update: along with (mostly) tasty food, they have horrible service. Worse every next time we visit. Will not visit anymore, maybe only takeout. They mess up orders, forget something, takes forever to get anything, and they ignored that there was a child at our table, asked nothing for her, like food or anything, took our orders and wanted to leave. Every each time is worse. The very first experience here was good, but the next ones in any branch were BAD in terms of service. And why should i leave a tip? For what? Also the only italian thing is the music..

Saturday afternoon and had no problem being seated. The servers were friendly, polite and responded to our requests. The food was delicious but somewhat slow in getting to us. What was disappointing was the female restroom. Door was heavy to manage with a walker. The handicap stall required cleaning - toilet paper on floor and hanging out of toilet, and urine splattered on floor and toilet seat. Toilet unflushed. Not usable. I immediately reported it to staff and left.

As a member of a large party, OG didnt have our reservation, and we had to wait nearly an hour before being seated. While waiting, we all went to the bar. We we informed that they were not bartenders but servers. I suppose that explains why it took 40 minutes to get 21 beverages. All in all, our server was exceptionally adept at making us feel welcome. The food was good and we finished by 10 PM.

My server was very OnPoint. She was very courteous very helpful and very polite the food was delicious and of course the atmosphere was very comfortable. I do intend on returning soon. I would the Olive garden highly. Kid-friendliness: I have seen many families go there with their children. The children seem to enjoy the food and the breadsticks the most. Wheelchair accessibility: I have a handicapped daughter in this establishment allowed easy access inside very suitable for wheelchairs.

The whole experience was great. Will visit again.

its pretty bad majority of people dont have table manners. take your hat off be quite.. No be loud and obnoxious and blast your phone as loud as you want!. they need to put up signs stating to turn off phone like its the movie theater... not the restaurants fault but COME ON people ruined a birthday by allowing loud obnoxious people to be even allowed in!!

Shady practices. server did not have a name tag, So i cant complain? Bread sticks were soggy and tasted old, People that dine here and are allowed in is criminal. Loudest mexicans you can find are allowed in and seated right behind you! enjoy hearing loud phones and them talking in another language as loud as they can. Horrible fast food

Tonight (11/6/2023) I was served my Deyna. Her attention to detail and her prompt filling of requests made at the beginning and the followup afterwards made this one if my best times here at Dartmouth Olive garden.

Delicious italian food

I went with my friends for a group birthday dinner. There was a long wait, but our server was awesome! The food was delicious. I got the Zuppa Toscana soup and the chicken tortelloni alfredo! They were so freaking good! Definitely recommend!!

My niece and I received wonderful service from Dion last night! My pasta came out overcooked, but I didnt want to complain. She noticed as we were preparing to leave that I had a lot of food left on my plate and hadnt asked for a box. She asked if I wanted another plate or a different type of pasta, and although I politely said no thank you, she refused (kindly of course) to let us leave without a proper dinner to take home free of charge, not to mention it was out within minutes AND past closing time. Rather than leaving on a mediocre note with not so great food, we left after having a great exchange with her to the extent where I had to ask her name and give credit where its due. You have an amazing employee with a wonderful smile and personality. We really appreciate her! That was truly THE best service between general interaction, a few laughs, and all around experience Ive ever had! Thank you Dion!!

Sat at the bar, and the service at first was terrible. The first bartender said, They werent serving food at the bar at the moment, Then, a waitress came over, apologized, and took my order. If the bar isnt serving food, then they shouldnt be seating people there. One would think a bartender in a restaurant would have better people skills

Update: went for lunch on 11-26-23 and got the worst food poisoning of my life Im assuming the chicken was bad.... AND this was my only meal of the day so I know it was from here...Clearly food safety isnt a priority or wasnt yesterday when I went....
