Me and my friend come in all the time and every single time this one server greets us so kindly and remembers our order and starts conversations with us. The service is fast and the food never disappoints. I refuse to buy sushi from any other place.
Very attentive staff and quick service! Food is always good and the restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms. Regularly order takeout from here or dine in for ayce and it never disappoints.
such a nice place! every employee is extremely nice and will go out of the way for any needs you have, food is 10/10 with a wide variety of options. every person i've brought with me loved it. my go to restaurant at LEAST 3 times a week!!!
This was my first time visiting from Ottawa. I enjoyed the food. There was a few things I'd change but overall it's a good place to eat. I would most definitely go back.
it was incredible 🤩 I didn't expect to get DELICIOUS sushi in the all-you-can-eat menu 🥰 I recommend it!
I tried “all you can eat sushi” in different places but this restaurant is the best! Very tasty and large portions! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere:) highly recommend!
I really liked the rolls, they were made from fresh products and very tasty (but the "Green Dragon" is huge , it's not comfortable to eat). I didn't like the tuna (strange smell and taste, for me). But my husband liked the tuna. We will definitely go again. We paid 44$.
I love this place. I have been in the other branch in Halifax chain lake, but you can’t compare the quality of. The menu of the 2branches were different as well, the variety of food is more in Dartmouth. The service and atmosphere were awesome, the fish were super fresh. Be aware how much you will order, as you will be charged for the leftovers
Delicious, the fish seemed higher quality than some past visits, the sashimi was extra large and delicious. Everything was quick to arrive. It would be beneficial if you could order green tea on the tablet, its hard to flag down a server for that.
Hubby and I usually stop in for dinner when were in town... my personal favourite when it comes to the all-you-can-eats
Very good service ~ food was delightful ~ great choices for lunch Kid-friendliness: Yes ~ ice-cream bar was a hit!!! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes - very accessible
Me and my fiancé go there every other week, they know my fiancé and twin brother by name. They genuinely care about their customer service and it shows. Ryan and the manager take great care of us every time we go in, 10/10 way to go Ryan. Mizu s is never allowed to go out of business we love them way to much
A great place for all you can eat! Make sure you re hungry going, there will be lots of different dishes to try. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating, as well as having excellent customer service skills. Dietary restrictions: If you have celiac or gluten intolerance, you are able to eat here. Parking: Plenty of parking spots in the area, and specifically for their restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat here, and it is designed for families as well as couples, or eating with a group of friends.
Alright you nay sayers and food critics. I just wanted to clear the air. I eat here almost twice monthly, I have for the past year. Not once was I let down by the quality of food, the service or the atmosphere rather than being crowded sometimes. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food quality is fresh the rice is well cooked and made every morning. The soy is sometimes different in a way I dont like. But thats not often at all. My advice give this place a chance you might be humbly surprised. This place is clean. This coming from one of the biggest germaphobes most people I know have met. The rating is good but I think it should be higher hence why Im writing. Theyre not fluent with English so please be patient because theyre very kind and try really hard to resolve any issues. They work really hard to deliver the good service they provide. And if you see Ryan around black hair, glasses, skinny and tall. Say hi to him hes a good fella Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie rolls Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options but dont go to a seafood based restaurant if your allergic (like come on) Kid-friendliness: See kids here all the time
This is a great go to spot for food. If you can t find something you like here, you re probably the problem. Also the staff is great, hardworking and very friendly.
First time going and it was delicious and quick, it did not disappoint us, loved the way the orders work and the variety to choose from, my only issues is I wish there was more dessert options! We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Parking: Huge parking lot because it s in a plaza. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs available and there were lots of kids there when we went plus we brought a baby with us. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.
Sushi here is very tasty, my go-to favorite is the Volcano roll!
Terrible service, a waitress must have been having a bad day because she was rude during service, and one of the orders had a hair in it. I do not recommend it
Bes sushi go there hungry
Located in Dartmouth. Variety of sushi and sashimi. Highly recommend the tempura.
My partner and I always get great food from Mizu. The staff are always polite, and the meal is always delicious. Our go to sushi spot!
Very nice all you can eat restaurant.
Really affordable restaurant whe one can use the offer all you can eat for about 35 dollars per person. Food is amazing, personnel are very kind and hospitable. Highly recommend!
Excellent staff food was great
Our favorite Japanese restaurant. Consistently fresh and great service
Love the food always
Luckily, Dartmouth has many other sushi places to choose from now , as I will not be back again. I received an order a few months ago that was soggy, cold, everything tasted terrible and also got the sushi order wrong. I called them and they said they would put a note on my account for free rolls and $$ off the next time I order as I ordered over 50$ of food with much of the order being wrong or just not fit to eat. Last night I decided to try again as I knew I had the credit and many other places were closed for the holiday. I let them know there should be a note on my file about the rolls and $$ off. They said there was no note and they would never do that for their customers, as 15% off is the largest discount ! I let them know this is not what was promised considering my order was over 50$ I didn t understand how 15% would be suffice or that that was all they were willing to do considering I was told other wise before. And they still got my order wrong! They said they would give me 15% off again next time and told them I won t be back as 15% doesn t even cover the amount of one roll price when you are purchasing a 50$ order. Save your money and check out sushi 101 for the best sushi in Dartmouth , sushi jet for all you can eat, or jukai/the dahlia for yummy asain fusion and sushi, with much better customer service. I wouldn t write a bad review for a one-off problem with service but after multiple times with staff unwilling to make things right it seems appropriate.
In my opinion one of the best AYCE sushi restaurant around! The sushi is very high quality and I always love coming here
Terrible. 4 teens saved up and dressed up to go. Staff were rude and wouldnt explain menu, just told them it was $32.99 plus waste. They were scared to eat because of waste comment and ordered 4 pieces of sushi. Staff were un helpful. I called restaurant and explained girls were confused . Person who answered phone was unhelpful, made no offer to assist and started talking to another customer. Ridiculous. I u derstand waste concept 100% but girls should have been encouraged to order off regular menu. Update: girls did not receive everything they ordered and were charged $50 when their bill came to $44. Denied receipt. I never publicly complain on reviews but I will be complaining to BBB about this. These young women work hard for their money and saved for this meal, they are not disrespectful or hooligans. They deserved better treatment
Food is delicious. Only complaint is the floor behind the sushi counter is always so dirty. Its gross looking.
This has been our go-to in Dartmouth for ages. The last few times its on the decline. Yesterday sushi was very sub par and the gluten free soy sauce was terrible. So much so, they brought me a few bottles to try and Im sure whoever refilled used the wrong product or they are cutting it with rice vinegar. Yuck. And the staff were really struggling with English, so even though I always notify of food allergies, no one seemed to know what I was talking about and I had to stay away from almost everything because they were arriving in sauces I couldnt eat. Definitely not worth 80$ for two people on this occasion. Also, charged 2x Japanese tea price for a small pot we had to split. Dietary restrictions: Normally I can choose items and have them arrive gluten free or with no sauce. This visit I couldnt even get someone to answer if the Miso was gluten free. I cant go back for fear of getting sick, unfortunately.
The all you can eat sushi was soooooo worth the price We cant wait for our next visit. Their avocado rolls are delicious!!! TravelTalkTea
I came back for a visit after moving away 2 years ago. The food is still as good as ever, but the service was even better!!! Our server Ryan was so attentive to detail and mindful of the allergies in my group. We really appreciated his kindness, service, and his sense of humor.
We eat here all the time and have usually gotten slow but acceptable service but tonight was different. Hours of operation say closes at 10PM showed up at 8:50pm and was told last call was at 9:15pm, I m not paying $33 a head for 1 serving of food. Do better!
Mizu is the best I would die for this restaurant
Great all you can eat sushi Nice calm atmosphere Food
Delicious food! Love the buffet experience!
Great quality for the price!! Always delish!
Dined in recently with friends, service was awful. Food was flavourless. The staff were so incredibly dismissive. We sat at our table for 20 minutes and food had already started arriving by the time we finally got some water. Keep in mind wasn t busy at all when we got there, one of our friends waited 15+ minutes for some food when the rest of us had 2 or 3 items already brought out and we all ordered at the same time. The quality of the food has gotten incredibly poor, we all had stomach aches after eating and we definitely ate less than we normally would there. Almost feels like mild food poisoning or something. Quite disappointing as we were normally regular customers
Awesome food for an awesome price. They really accomodate people with celiac, in person, or for delivery. Would highly recommend.
Staff were friendly and service fast. Food was boring. They have a very limited menu. I know its tough times folks but you gotta try harder for 32$ a head.
Very tasty. Lets come again!
Love this little place! Great variety, very clean and quick. Small and kind people. Have excellent kids plates and chop sticks. I have 3 kids and always feel welcomed.
Good sushi place, good prices, the sushi rolls are big, but have a good taste, always a good experience
A little loud, but the food is so good
Amazing
Delicious sushi with an all you can eat option. Private booths and lots of space. Quiet and comfortable with very good pleasant service.
The staff is great, the food is great and will adjust to your needs without question. Also there is a server named ken here who is the bomb, if the owner happens to be reading this please give him a raise
We love this spot! The new location is alot nicer and the service is alot faster though. Id still eat here anytime.
Best AYCE Sushi in HRM. Love this place. I go a few times each month.
Wife and I liked it.
A great place to go with a friend or two and experience great food
Mizu is certainly one of the best places I like to go for All You Can Eat Sushi in Halifax, The vibe and the atmosphere are super comforting, the staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and are quite friendly. It s well worth the price for the All You Can Eat Sushi, the quality is top-notch, and the portions are not too large.
Good food and service as well.
For a few years, Ive been wanting to visit this place and try this AYCE buffet style along with my kid. First thing I notice is how lovely the staff is, restaurant was clean and even the bathroom were very clean! Service was really fast too. We ordered a few salmon nigiri, , sweet potatoes maki, strawberry and mango sushi, salmon and avocado and some white tuna rolls as well. Texture of the rice was decent and the seasoning of it was good. the fish was fresh but the only thing for me was the size of those rolls are big enough for 2 bites, I would make them smaller and thinner but would be the same serving amount as offered. For a $25 lunch on a weekend, I wish there was more fish option but other than that. It was great for a quick lunch and it wasnt too busy as well.
Good all around AYCE sushi. Wide selection on the menu of Japanese and Thai dishes. Misu roll is a personal favorite. 10% military discount. Kid-friendliness: Discount rates for children
Great food and an amazing selection
I love your food but the last 4 times Ive ordered, I havent gotten the right meal from Skip. Its just extremely disappointing.
Solid choice for AYCE sushi and other items. I ve not been let down, yet.
Overall, not a bad spot. However, when ordering hot items (tempura, shrimp, beef, etc.) it s a hit or miss for whether they ll be scorching hot or near room temperature. The sushi items are usually quite good though, and the staff is always nice
I had such a great experience at Mizu. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. They were also incredibly quick with bringing the food out. I wil definitely be back!
the service is good, and variety of options to choose from. Perfect for family date!
Not too bad!
We went for lunch, it was an awesome experience! Food was AMAZING!! Service was great and very fast, definitely making this place our sushi stop in Dartmouth/Halifax every time we go!!
We had a wonderful birthday lunch celebration! Everything was well handled. I really liked that we could request more ginger and Wasabi from the tablet. The only thing that I didnt enjoy was how dirty the tablet was when it arrived at our table. I could feel particles of food on the surface as I was navigating the menu. Vegetarian options: Great selection of veggies sushi. From apps to rolls! Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to navigate in and out of restaurant. No idea if the washrooms are accessible.
Food was good, nothing to special just a good overall sushi place. Prices are a little high. Cost more on Fridays and weekends
We went to Mizu last night for the first time. A little bit of confusion due to the language barrier trying to figure out how it all worked. My apologies to the young girl trying to help us. After we managed to muddle our way through that, the evening was great. The food was delicious, cheese wontons and shrimp pizza were the best for all 4 of us. Delivery of food to the table was quick and also the cleanup of the dishes. Highly recommend anybody experience this restaurant. The portions were perfect. We got confused a couple of times when they combined 2 separate orders of the same item on to one plate but that was all in the fun of it. You just reorder and make sure someone else at the table doesn t mistake if it for theirs. And they don t rush you as everything is made fresh and you order as you go along. Great evening! We will be back!
I ordered online and went to pick up my order. And how does the employee greet me? , Are you from skip the dishes . Every brown person that walks in your restaurant doesnt work for Skip the dishes. How about a nice, Hi how can i help you? . The employees doesnt know basic etiquette. It was very hurtful. The employees should know better.
This is easily one of the best AYCE sushi places in Canada, not only Halifax! Amazing food, reasonable prices, wide range of options, including vegetarian. Very quick and kind service, and they have fruit rolls that you wont find anywhere else! Mango Banana, Strawberry Banana, and Mango Strawberry rolls! Definitely 5 stars! Ironically though, the other branch in Bedford is one of the worst! Dont mistake that for this.
Good selection of foods and fast service.
I love when friends recommend a new-to-me restaurant to check out AND join to make sure we get the full experience! Mizu would be one of those restaurants that I would risk missing out on the best parts if I hadnt had friends who eat here often with us. Full disclosure: I have a shellfish allergy and sushi restaurants make me nervous however I had absolutely no issue finding safe food here. So - ordering is done at the table on an iPad for sharable small dishes that contain the most amazing concoctions. Seaweed salad - yes! Edamame in the shell - yes! Chopped beef and garlic - yes! Veggie spring rolls - yes! Dumplings - yes! Beef skewers - yes! Assortment of shellfish-free sushi - oh my, yes! House red wine was also two thumbs up. We were so stuffed and we only tried a portion of the menu... which means we will be back again soon to experience it all over again! The staff were wonderful and the restaurant was busy as was their takeout section and I can absolutely understand why. Next time I will take photos! Dietary restrictions: I was able to get shellfish-free foods here without issue.
We come here every time we come to the city it s so good. Warning the rolls and servings are HUGE so if you can t eat at least 25peices of regular sushi the regular menu is probably better. But they are great for allergies they accommodate everything! We will be back next week
Excellent in every way!
An amazing all you can eat sushi place. You get three rounds of ordering sushi for you and others at your table. The California and Dragon rolls are amazing ! The service is great, they send the food out fairly quick and constant, depending on how much you order per round. The dessert is limited but good and quite tasty. Ice cream, deep fried banana and a mango pudding and one or two more goodies. Pricy, but the quality is awesome ! For two people, its around $80.
All you can eat hit the spot and orders come very quickly. Priced at $25 dollars Is a little excessive for lunch I thought..
Excellent restaurant 99% of the time! We went for supper at Mizu All You Can Eat Sushi yesterday. We eat here often, and as usual, the service was great, with friendly, attentive staff and delicious food. Now, I love sushi and my husband doesnt, but they have a large selection of fishless foods, so we can both leave stuffed and happy. Also, unlike the nearest other all you can eat sushi place in town that limits your dessert to two scoops of ice cream, Mizu lets you have all the ice cream you can eat. The mackerel sashimi tasted a bit oilier than usual and didnt taste off, but Ive still had nausea, vomitting, abdominal pain and diarrhea since midnight. Oh well, someone who eats as much raw fish as I do is bound to get sick once and a while.
Reasonably priced for eat all you can sort of restaurant Sashimi is great I started to prefer this branch (Dartmouth) over the sooo crowded Bayers Lake branch No wait time, food is fresh, rolls come to you a couple of minutes after you place the order ... 7 star sushi experience Pro Tip: order Japanese Sake for a complete authentic experience Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available Dietary restrictions: You will be asked if you have any allergies to any of the sushi components before you are served Parking: Ample parking spots Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Really good food, kids friendly, good service, very nice restaurant
Ok... Ordered food to pickup. They used the AYCE sushi which was SOGGY rice... and the fish was old and the WASABI was Moldy... Yes MOLDY it had an Earthy taste and we had food poisoning with nausea and diarrhea.... very disappointed that they use the cheapest and worst quality when you paid Ala Carte!
Great place to eat! Great menu options, efficient service and easy parking lot. Will definitely come back.
Foods great service is great and new way of ordering food
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options Food
I love it!! Nice clean place and efficient service. I usually order can pop as I find the fountain is usually flat, but no complaints. Absolutely delightful
Let me just say that this restaurant went above and beyond, there was always waitresses on the floor for any service question. The sushi and sauces were spectacular and the ordering interface was straightforward and extensive. The have the rule any wasted food may incur a extra charge and I am ashamed to say I was defeated by this restaurant and could not finish one order of sushi, however they allowed us to take our left overs home as we didnt order massive amount of food. Great restaurant and will be back
Some fantastic dishes, everything was hot and the service was excellent.
The sashimi is excellent and affordable, especially if you enjoy salmon and get the salmon lovers sashimi combo for 17.99.
Best sushi in Nova Scotia
Price is getting a little steep for AYCE, but still good as always. Will be back
I love being able to order my sauces separately at the Dartmouth location! So many yummy combinations! Cheese wontons are definitely a must every time we go, so many favourites here, the tempura, eel, beef with garlic.....I could go on and on! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp, no steps, tables with removable chairs, accessible washroom
The service at both mizu locations is always amazing - we went to this location early for super time arou d 4-4:30 and found it reeked of toilet in the whole place which was definitely a turn off... after people started filling it up and the was food everywhere the smell seemed to dissipate. Time for an update at this location, its old and it shows and it smells - too bad, average to good sushi here
Had dinner delivered loved everything about it !
Delicious food and everything comes super quick. The wait staff is very kind and professional. (Order the fried milk it s amazing!) Vegetarian options: Avocado, yam, cucumber, spring roll. Tempura. Desserts.
Great food and service. We always enjoy coming here when were in the city.
The all you can eat with very fast service is cool. However, if youre going for quality, there are other options around Dartmouth. Great for big groups and sharing.
Best Sushi in Halifax by far. Fantastic staff as well.
Cant complain sushi is amazing
Mizu has really stepped up their game! Delicious food, great selection, and quick service. Will be back again.
My wife & I came here for lunch and were told it be $24.99 per person for the all-you-can-eat option, awesome. At the end of our meal because we didnt finish most of the food we were told it be an extra $20 or we could have more time to finish the food, so we agreed on the $20 charge because we were full. Got our bills & we were charged over $100 for our two meals, the additional $20 for not finishing food & we were charged the dinner rate @ $32.99 per person. We tried to consult the rate back to the $24.99 and nothing could be done. Asked for a manager and we were told shes on break and wouldnt be back for 2 WHOLE HOURS. I asked for a phone number and they wouldnt provide one either. I definitely will not return or recommend this establishment
Went there for AYCE, had a hearty mix of AYCE. The Mizu Roll in rice paper was a nice mix on the standard roll format. Tempura orders were all crispy and not oily. Not sure if theres a roll I wouldnt at least order. However, not a fan of any teriyaki meat plates as the meat is dry, chewy, and only redeemed in flavor by the teriyaki sauce. Somehow managed to have room for green tea (matcha) ice cream. Being a crusty old millennial, I remember a time when this was just over $20 at dinner. Guess I should be thankful that its not over $40 after tax for one guest before any extras. Anyway, go with a big appetite and stomach trained to ignore discomfort, or opt going elsewhere for à la carte sushi.
It was really good! Not a huge sushi person but there was enough of everything else for me to be happy
Its okay..
Great Japanese food employees very friendly and helpful overall great all you can eat restaurant Highly recommend the Sakura rolls and the dynamite rolls!!
Love it. Great food, easy to order with an iPad.
today they were very quick with food.
Kids were very happy but a bit messy. Great service with no complaints.
Mizu is great! Such a wide range of choices for everyones palate. My favourites were the wonton soup, shrimp with coconut sauce, tempura shrimp, and mango ice cream. The rest of my party loved the soup as well, and dove right into the sushi! Great place to eat and the staff is very accommodating.
Just went into the restaurant for the all you can eat and was told that because theres 1 hour left I cant do the all you can eat... your name is literally mizu all you can eat... youve just lost a customer
By far the best service and food!
Very nice servers
Fantastic all you can eat sushi - lunch is a far better deal than dinner and if your kids are picky eaters you may not get value for money. But if your kid loves sushi like mine does, Mizu is hard to beat! Our favourite: the golden dragon roll!
In my experience most places the sushi in all you can eat buffets are average taste or below average; however I was so surprised that here the sushi s were actually very good. I enjoyed all the sushi; However that other items like beef teriyaki or calamari teriyaki were not tasty at all. You need to be careful to choose other items except sushi. Overall it was a satisfying experience so I put 5 star as the servers were super friendly.
Amazing food at a great price, very high quality. Love the e Menu.
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! (Thats a lot of exclamation points).
Amazing Sushi!
The Halifax location was terrible experience with staff busy talking to each other and the food was a disappointment, and this is after many terrific experiences at the Dartmouth location. Go to the Dartmouth location and stay away from the Halifax location if you want a good experience.
Nice staff
Ordered some sushi for delivery today - some really delicious meatless options. I especially enjoyed the avocado tofu roll and the mango slushy.
Went here lunch. Will not be back. Ever!! Went by the google stars. boy was I wrong. Not a four star, not even close. one prob after another topped of with a big black hair on the food. blech.
The quality of food, choices and experience has steadily diminished over time. The lunch menu is pretty slim now and the ice cream was full of ice crystals. Been coming here for years and I have to admit that the death by a thousand cuts is starting to show. Still an ok place to stuff your belly. Supper menu is usually much better.
Super accommodating to notes. Highly appreciated! Fried rice is amazing, not greasy, fluffy and filled with what kind you order (veggie, shrimp, etc.). Best green dragon rolls around! Always a safe bet ordering from here, reliable and tasty.
Awesome.
very bad and slow service. didnt get food on time it took 3 hours to get a basic spicy salmon toll. overall very bad
My favorite place. Never disappoints.
Great choices of sushi and other opitions for people who dont eat sushi
Vegetarian options: They have a large array of non-vegetarian & vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: If you cant/Dont eat gluten, they have you covered from the soy sauce to the sushi. Wheelchair accessibility: There are not any stairs and they have tables they can put you at.
Cant say enough about the amazing food. Go before the rush and very little wait on food! Worth the price!
Love Mizu. Always great sushi . So.e items are a little slow coming out worth the wait.
UPDATE: Returned and it was a much better experience My partner decided to take us to Mizu for a nice dinner with a friend and after going here for many years tonight marked our first terrible experience and that is why I am giving 2 stars. We arrived and waited to be seated, which is fine, but then waited for 50 mins for parts of our first order which were deep fried, some things never came. At a place that charges you for leftovers not getting your food or knowing its coming is a pain and I sat for 50 minutes and only got my soup delivered. Then the pop. Ordered a Coke/Pepsi and it was apparent that the syrup in the fountain machine needed changed. When I let the server know they did not understand what I meant, but offered another flavour. So I ordered a root beer. Same situation. When another server came to help and we explained I just never got another pop. After an hour of no food or drink other than a small soup I asked to speak to a manager and was informed they were busy making sushi so I explained the situation to the server who apologized. They didnt charge us for my meal but offered no compensation for our wasted time or the dreadful service.
Left some Edamame shells and tempura skins on the table they charged us 5 bucks because one waitress was on her period lol
Saw this restaurant featured on Joel Hansens Youtube Channel and he raved about how good it was. So they were a Must Try when I was in Dartmouth/Halifax next. Glad I listened to him! It was delicious! Good service. Good kitchen speed. Slick ordering system. 45 minutes later I was stuffed! Ill go back for sure.
My friend brought me here first thing when coming to NS for the first time to visit him. Thinking it would be a great experience as he says he orders from here all the time. We sat in the middle of the restaurant and used the equipment provided to order our food. The only thing we recieved in the two hours we waited was 4 water refills and one of our roll orders and spring rolls. We tried to get the wait staff attention and really couldnt. We watched everyone else who came in after us get service without a problem. It was like we stepped into a black hole! When I left the restaurant I left hungry and still paied the all you can eat price of 28 dollars when all I was served was 2 peices of sashimi and 2 spring rolls even though I ordered much more then that. Not impressed at all!
Best sushi place in town
Hit one of our favourite places for sushi. Faves Sashimi- wife s favorite Chicken teriyaki- fave Spicy red tuna - fave Rainbow roll - a mix of everything super tasty Garlic beef - super tasty quality meat Salmon teriyaki - wow smallest cooked portion ever (about the size of a toony kinda made me giggle) was tasty. Ice creams - mango and chocolate Just ok Cheese wonton - while it says it was cheese it kind tasted like crab. Not bad just different flavour. Chicken skewer - chicken parts cooked together was just ok. Beef skewer - quality beef but was greasy Rock roll - rather large to fit in mouth but was ok Dynamite or dragon roll - it was ok but bland Not my thing Three colour roll - the blend of mango and cream cheese didn t pair well for me with the salmon Service was on point. Orders were delivered promptly Price point was about 5$ too high comparing to other places.
Great value for the price you pay. The ordering system is from a tablet which is great, but the server was hard to get the attention of when we needed things. Lots of options for sushi rolls and rice/noodle dishes.
Best Philadelphia rolls in the city Everything else is on point
Great food. All you can eat served in little dishes fast. Using a tablet directed to the kitchen for ordering. Will return
Best sushi in Halifax. EDIT: Years later, google is asking me for an update. Here it is: Mizu Dartmouth is still the best sushi in Halifax.
Great goto for not-too-fancy Sushi in Dartmouth.
One of our favourite sushi places in Hrm and have great prices.
Excellent sushi, but they also have a huge menu full of delicious non-sushi items which makes it easy to include people who do not like sushi, have allergies, or are toddlers and dont know what they want. Parking: There is a parking lot on site Kid-friendliness: They have a huge menu, so you should be able to find something your kids will eat. They have plastic dishes and practice chop sticks (or forks on request) Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible and a separate bathroom
Super kind staff
Best sushi buffet around!!
If you are hungry, eat sushi. Theres a hugely of rice. And check the menu first..
Too much rice. Too sweet. Treat customer bad. Not enjoy the food. Sashimi was not fresh at all and they dont even set up the plate as well. Just like dump it. Even Shrimp temperatures was cold not even hot at all.
U want save cost? Only bringing food with less quantities i ordered everytime? U aint getting my business anymore.
amazing
I am going there every time I want to treat myself. Especially recommend walking out of the Headshoppe after a fresh new cut ... perfect way to spoil yourself :D!
We had never heard of this all you can eat restaraunt before. We happened to be in the area and googled Japanese cuisine. We were not disappointed. Moderate amount of parking spaces for a strip mall corner side store front; with plenty of seating inside. ( Can easily accomidate large groups, or appropriate for small intimate meals.) The host sat us at a window booth around 230. Lunch price and menu ended 215. So, for over 30$ a person supper menu was offered. A bite pricy for all you can eat but justifiable price *IF* you dont tip, want quick service and considering covid recoup for business/tourist slump.... but because of price it wouldnt be a regular spot for us. How to order: From our table a tablet was handed to us to select the images to send our own order digitally to the kitchen. Items were separated into categories, and when clicked upon the photo you can see a brief description of some of the items, click quantities then send the order to the kitchen. (As many times as you like). The establishment was medium well maintained no obveous structual wear a tear, with wood chop sticks and serving dishes in good shape. Bathrooms were suitable but could use some touch up. Old finger prints on the tablet. Standard canadian accomidated sushi and Thai food. Quick and friendly service with servers brining one or a few items to all tables throughout your meal. Requests you click allergies first on the tablet. Nice!
FYI, the Lunch AYCE is now 24.99 Mon-Thurs.
Great food! I love going here for sushi
Its decent I would not go for the sushi but most other items are decent
Great place to have some good food!
Worst experience ever
Based on my 2 visits in the last 2 months, service has been amazing and food has always been hot and taste great. I love ordering food on a tablet so there is less order mistakes and less person to person interaction for introverts like me. The tablet also includes icons to show what is vegetarian or spicy as well. Went both times with my vegetarian girlfriend and found the menu has many wonderful vegetarian options that everyone can enjoy. No problems at anytime and I find the price for all you can eat is very fair for what you can get. Dessert is included in the price, drinks are extra. Highly recommend and will be going to eat here at least once a month.
Very good value for money and food is delicious Parking: Convenient, plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access
Awful. Way too much rice, rolls are way too big- not in a good way. Flavourless. Cover everything in too much sauce to mask poor quality food. Spicy tuna had too much tempura in the middle tasted like I was eating sand. Very poor quality sushi.
Awesome place, one of my favorites all you can eat sushi.
Excellent and fresh sushi. Staff is friendly and don t rush you. Everything served is fresh.
Seriously, the worst service i have ever had. Our greeting started with last call is in 10 minutes. Didnt tell us the party tray was take out only, refused to serve it anyway. What is the difference...Seriously guys. Sad. Put it in the same tray and leave it at that. There is no difference. The first server disappeared randomly leaving us with a guy who had no clue. Kids screaming like crazy loud music and cheap diner looking interior. Food was meh at best and honestly overpriced.
