Arguably the best pizza in Atlantic Canada. Travel to Dartmouth frequently from out of province and always visit here. Unreal pizza and great people working there!

Pizza was ready early and service was excellent

Don t usually leave reviews but I had an order issue after using Uber eats, I called and the guy working got everything sorted and sent me out a new pizza to replace the one that got messed up. Pizza was super good and fresh, definitely would recommend to try them out if you haven t!

This was my first time having Stone Pizza. I had a small (8 inch) caprese pizza and it had fresh toppings and was oh so good, My daughter had the Hawaiian 8 inch pizza and loved it. Service was very quick and the staff are very friendly. Vegetarian options: Seasonal vegetarian pizza is very good. Plus they have other vegetarian pizzas on their menu.

Little pizza place downtown. I enjoyed mine I got bbq chicken, thought it was very good. My friend who was with me did not end up liking theirs. But they were quick and wood fired and lots of options. So I still recommend. Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options! Dietary restrictions: They had GF options, and were accommodating on allergies or dietary preferences Parking: It s downtown Dartmouth so definitely struggled to find parking.

My ceasar salad was literally full of bugs. At first I thought it was just spices, but they had legs and heads. They were all throughout the lettuce. There were so many that they were even on the inside of the box itself. Im completely disgusted. Its a shame because I did love their pizza and have sent a lot of people there.

Just popped in for the first time with the new owners. I was skeptical because sometimes things change with new owners. Had the Big Poppa sandwich and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed it. Ill definitely be getting back again. Meatball Hero is the next thing Ill try. Highly recommend this place.

Highly disappointed! Pizzas, one of my favourite foods and I like exploring different places And last night we decided to try stone pizza! By far the worst I ve had in the city! Without exaggeration! It was dry no flavour we had the donair and spinach and artichoke. There was no flavour It was so dry and hard that we couldn t even eat it. I don t take the time to do reviews but this one I had to write a review because of the disappointment and I felt like I literally threw my money out the window! I love pizza and I know a good pizza when I have one but unfortunately not here it if this was a bad night for them, I will not be back. :(

Dietary restrictions: I have high cholesterol so as much as it pains me, had to explore vegan cheese options. Tried the Oh My Veggie with a garlic/ olive oil base and vegan cheese, and was blown away by how enjoyable it was. I can see this pizza being a staple in the weeks and months to come. Thanks Stone Pizza for having this as a delicious alternative.

Im a little torn, this was my first time having Stone Pizza. Ordered a personal size Hawaiian pizza, and one of the oreo dessert pizzas. My Hawaiian pizza was delicious, but my oreo dessert pizza looks and tastes as if the crust was barely cooked...which is really unfortunate

Tried this place as the reviews seemed good, unfortunately will be the first and last time I will order from this place. The pepperoni pizza was a 0/10 the cheese seemed curdled & not even melted. Dough was not fully cooked through & raw under toppings. Im sorry to leave this review, but I am extremely dissapointed.

Best pizza in the HRM

While the toppings were decent( Hawaiian average, Stone burger exceptional) the dough was blah. More like sweetened cardboard then pizza dough. Ive had better frozen pizza dough.

Ordered a donair pizza and was so disappointed, when I placed the order was told it would be ready in 10 minutes which was not typical of when I ordered from Stone in the past as they are my go to for pizza take out. It was evident that this pizza had been prepared much earlier and was reheated the outer edge crust was very crisp. And the donair meat was dry, called to let them know and received an apology that it was not up to my standards, however it was more important to note not up to their standards, the person I spoke with was very curt until I said I was not looking for a refund but making them aware I was disappointed, this makes me rethink my pizza choice moving forward.

My favorite pizza in HRM. We ordered from there when we first moved into our house 2 years ago, and weve continued to order regularly because its so good (and the staff are great)! Theres something for everyone - they do gluten-free, vegan, keto and of course various standard pizzas! My personal favourite is the vegan oh my veggies but I also really enjoy their vegan garlic fingers.

I dont eat dairy and dont care for the vegan cheese but enjoy a pizza every now and then. Ordered a hawaiian without cheese and it was fantastic. It was packed with toppings and tasted great.

Best pizza around

Could be a top pizza in the city of their crust lived up to their toppings. The ingredients/toppings were VERY good, and you can easily tell that they use quality ingredients, but the crust unfortunately held it back. It was hard, dry, and deflated; no airiness or chew to the crust at all. Maybe thats how its supposed to be, maybe it was a bad night, or its better to eat it there, but I dont think a 20 minute car ride home should turn a pizza into a 13 round of gypsum board covered in toppings. Dont think Ill give it another shot, but if I do Ill update.

The service was very poor. The price was almost $40 for a large vegan pizza with extra toppings (the quantities were pathetic). The taste was slightly above average. 100% not worth the money.

Was really looking forward to trying Stone Pizza and ended up disappointed. While the toppings were plentiful for the most part, the crust is bland, the sauce barely there and just tasted mid. Donair pizza was awful; had one piece and threw the rest away. The Meats was okay but the pepperoni was over smoked so overpowered everything else. Garlic fingers had hardly any garlic. Won t be on my list to try again.

Dough was not a winner, underdone and lacked any life. Wont make the mistake of tipping before tasting as it wasnt appreciated anyway. Probably wont be back for those prices on that product.

Wow. What I LOVED about the lunch time slice? Loaded with pepperoni. Sauced well and fresh tasting. Surprisingly filling! Not like other slices. What I didn t like? Gone waaaay too fast. Guess I ll just have to go back. And served by one of the dynamic duo. Always great to see the owners in the trenches bustin it as a small business. I drove by this place for years and finally decided to go in to grab a bite while waiting to enter the April Wine concert and Im glad I did. The pizza was really good. There arent too many pizza places that put Brothers Pepperoni on their pizza in the HRM and these guys do. It was awesome and a completely different taste than the usual type of Pepperoni. The only bad part about the visit is that there was no tables inside so my daughter and I ate on the bench out front. It by no means took away from the pizza. It just made the consumption of a hot pizza more challenging than I would have liked but I will go back to this place anytime.

Theres always been a reason of why I only order Stone Pizza, which is hands down the best pizza in Dartmouth/HRM, but tonight gave me an entirely new reason. I placed an order for 2 pizzas for 5:30pm deliver, arrived exactly on time, but one of the pizzas was not what I ordered. Not only did the store correct it right away (I believe it was Andrew), but he personally delivered the correct pizza to me in less than 30 minutes, letting us keep the incorrect one as well. Considering its Hurricane pizza that were looking forward to having cold leftovers of, Andrew saved the day. Ill never order pizza anywhere else, especially after tonight. A huge shout-out to Stone Pizzas unbeatable quality, kindness and professionalism, and to Andrew and their whole crew.

Thought I was going to miss my low carb pizza from my hometown and wow - not at all. Their keto crust pizza is incredible, and almost as good cold the next day. Toppings are generous, flavours are great, and the crust is actually really nice - better than any other low carb pizza that I ve had. Highly recommend the dill pickle! I ll be ordering from here probably more than I should in the future :) Thanks!!

Normally don t go out of my way to rate but not only was the vegan option here the best I ve ever had.. there was a small size mistake made and they corrected it right away and got me a new meal. Due to the recent increased lockdown due to Covid I went looking for a new restaurant today. In my search I discovered Stone Pizza and what a stroke of good fortune that was. Tonight we enjoyed a Waterfront Works pizza and the Dill Pickle pizza. Delicious! Will certainly be ordering pizzas from Stone again.

As someone eating a keto-based diet I was so excited to hear that someone was making keto pizzas in a pizzaria. Fantastic first experience. Super helpful people when calling to order, unsure of what to order (I was looking for keto, something I could take to bake at home later). The pizzas and garlic fingers were DELISIOUS!!! So filling and quality ingredients. I can only speak to the keto experience, but I will definitely be a regular from now on! :)

Weve experienced great tasting pizza at Stones and thought wed try the veggie pizza. We found the bottom of the crust to be a bit soggy, probably due to the tomatoes juices.

I was told about this spot but wasent very happy with the pizza ....wasent very good and very pricey....not a place I would order from again...

I really like their pizza. I recommend the Hawaiian. Their dough almost reminds me of a pretzel or something. Plus, the place seems clean and the workers are normal/friendly. That alone puts them above most local pizza places. If you don t like them, you probably have poor taste. ;)

Service was friendly. Works pizza was spicy and interesting. Garlic fingers had decent flavour but not cheesy enough and the crust was dry and bland. I think it was over priced for what it is but wouldnt tell people NOT to go

Best vegan pizza in Hali

Simply the best pizza. I m on keto diet and haven t had pizza for a while. I ordered the keto pizza and it just blew my mind, toppings are generous portion and the cheese are melt to wonderful. Way much better than the pizza pizza keto pizza. The online ordering system works as charm, I placed an order and drove to the place to pick up. Staff are friendly too. I just wish they could deliver to Halifax.

The people who work there are fantastic and friendly. I wanna to try a few of their flavors. I liked the you can order half and half on them. I got an entire BBQ Chicken and then half Greek and half Waterfront Works. My fave was the Greek. My boyfriend liked the works. Definitely should try!

Pizza tasted mostly like disappointment

First time ordering and couldnt be more happy with our food! Tried the dill pickle pizza, their smores pizza, pizza rolls and fireworks pizza. My favorite was the dill pickle pizza and my friend loved the fireworks pizza. We both loved the pizza rolls. Ate far too quickly to take photos, but was thrilled with the quality, order was 100% accurate!

Terrible experience with owner or manager behind counter. He was extremely rude and pushy when I was trying to figure out what to order despite being the only person in the venue. Would not recommend supporting this business.

I have seen their posts on Instagram for months and have been meaning to try their pizza.. and I finally did today! It was great! We got the meat lovers pizza and it was like none Ive ever seen - lots of REAL meat! Actual pieces of bacon, sliced sausage, thick pepperoni, and LOTS of flavor. I honestly loved the sauce and crust so much that I will probably go for a veggie or cheese next time (its also super filling because they put so much on it). Really great pizza and I would definitely recommend

Still waiting to find a decent pizza place in Dartmouth. Tried Stones once. Thick crust, very sweet tasting, and not the best ingredients. Its not bad, but I personally would not go back. Also, not really authentic in terms of a stone fired oven ...

I went to the pizzeria 40 minutes before closing, the service was fast but not friendly after giving a good tip I have an impression they want me out of the restaurant and thats not a good first impression. The food is good but I am not coming back in near future. If service improves, it will help your place to be known. Thanks for the pizza though and sorry for coming a bit late.

We finally found our go-to spot for delicious pizza! My wife has gluten allergies so Stone Pizza is a real treat as it is quite a challenge to find not only tasty GF but reliable as well. The GF crust had a light texture and the vegan pepperoni was very tasty. The Hawaiian pizza is superb. Generously topped with fresh pineapple, real crispy bacon, ham and plenty of sauce. Five stars for well prepared pizza with quality toppings and very professional service as well! Looking forward to our next visit.

Got the Chicken Wing pizza along with some vegan pizzas this past Saturday. Best pizza Ive had in Halifax hands down.

First off dont call yourself stone pizza if youre not using a stone to cook the pizza... its like prefab crust. ..we asked for it well done..tastes like cardboard... and the staff lacked lusture and personality... I would just go buy the ingredients and just make my own pizza.

Stone Pizza is amazing. I tried their half and half pizza two months ago and Ive been hooked ever since! I love to have the option for pizza and garlic fingers together! Their Waterfront Works is super good and the garlic fingers are super good. The only slight downside is that it can be greasy at times but the flavour makes up for it! I totally reccomend them to anyone who loves pizza!

I googled pizza places close to my hotel and I was not disappointed! My wife and I each ordered 8 customized pizzas. They were both ready quickly and brought out to mycmy as soon as I pulled up! Great crust and pizza spices! Nice sized toppings! 10/10

My wife and I tried Stone Pizza for the first time today and were blown away! We had a 13 meat lovers and it was loaded with fresh, tasty toppings. And the crust was especially delicious! It reminded me of a cross between brioche bread and arrowroot cookies for its sweet flavour profile and thin, crispy texture. The sauce was also very nice. When I was handed the box I immediately noticed how heavy it was. I thought it was a little on the pricey side before I tasted it but I promise you it s well worth the few extra $$ for its quality and taste. We have been Salvatore s fans forever but will definitely add Stone Pizza to our top 3 rotation of pizzerias in HRM. GREAT JOB LADIES!!!

After trying Stone Pizza, Revana Pizza, and Yeah Yeahs Pizza, I would rank Stone Pizza third out of the three. Bottom of my pizza was pale white and slightly doughy, but still cooked. It really reminds me of a good quality frozen pizza. The flavour of it was nothing special. The price was kind of reasonable, but weighing my options compared to Revanas and Yeah Yeahs, I would probably spend my money elsewhere. The service was nice and friendly, and the place was clean. Good looking interior and welcoming. Not too many seats though. Giving a 4/5 considering 3 is considered low in google review standards.

Easily the best keto pizza Ive ever tried. Friendly staff, great selection of toppings, and reasonable prices. I tried the keto garlic fingers and Keto meat lovers, and Ive never been so full from a modestly sized pizza. Well worth a visit!

Great service, good pizza. Crispy crust and generous toppings. Can be tricky to find a place to park nearby. Donair sauce is yummy. We went for the regular menu items, but supposedly, they do some weird ones like dill pickle pizza. Vegan options. Ate too much.... need nap now....

I have ordered take out here several times. Generally good with a unique dough that makes for a flavourful crust. However , service is not great and at times has been disappointing.
