Love this spot, definitely a gem in Dartmouth. I couldnt believe the size of my burger. I had the lamb burger with blue cheese & ratatouille relish. It was unique, unlike any burger Ive had before, and dont to perfection. Id order it again and again. The staff were also friendly, even when we had arrived a bit later towards the end of service. The atmosphere is very chill, seems like a welcoming space good for friends or a date

Food never disappoints, one of the best nachos in HRM! The staff are the best and have great knowledge of all the beers!!! Sundays are $6 North beers!

Really liked this place. Fantastic selection of beer. Super friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I had the Dartmouth style Jug burger, and it was so good! Definitely will go back.

First time there, on a Sunday night, surprisingly busy. Had the nachos, found the chips were really hard, wouldve liked them a little softer. The spicy fries were different, Ok. Good selection of craft beer and spritzers, otherwise kind of underwhelming.

Had the Deluxe Burger last night one of the best burgers I ve ever had! French fries were excellent too! Great selection of beer on tap with a nice lean to local breweries. Friendly service was the icing on the cake that guarantees a return visit next time I m in Dartmouth!

Great selection of craft beers are always on their rotating taps and the food is always consistently amazing here. The burgers are top notch but so are the nachos, calamari, salads, brussel sprouts. In fact, Im sure Ive had everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. Cheers!

Every time Im back in NS this is one of my first stops. The vibe, the food and beers and the service is always spot on. Ive been fortunate enough to be served by Eryn many times and without fail its always a great experience. I recommend to anyone heading to Dartmouth to visit this place!

Excellent beer selection, they even have a cask! Perfect fries, and the burger was delicious but I consider 4oz patties a bit big for smash burgers. Will definitely be back.

Good food and even better people

My burger was good, but the spicy fries I thought didn t have much flavour and were too soft. My girlfriend got the Pig mac and wasn t a fan. Good selection of ciders and nice hidden outdoor patio. Service was okay.

Went with my wife and loved the food. Shes vegetarian and got the beet burger, said it was among the best burgers shes had; I gave it a bite and it was quite good! Her burger came with fries and they were really good, though some might consider them a bit over-salted, but we both liked the salt level. Crispy and tasty. For myself I had the classic burger and instead of a side I got the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Both were delicious! The burgers we had both had lightly toasted buns which was great for the overall texture. On mine the pickles were cut pretty thin, as the lettuce was also sparse, but thats great - the additions didnt take away from the nicely sized burger patty. The sauce was a tasty Dijon mustard any mayo mix. The Brussel sprout side was excellent, it had a very lightly spicy oil and really nice crunchy bits (pomegranate seeds, I think), and was well cooked.

I had a wonderful experience at Battery Park last weekend. The fried chicken sandwich was one of the best I ve ever had! I ll definitely be visiting again soon.

The constantly rotating tap makes it worth coming back over and over for great local beer. Only thing that can make the beer better is the burgers to go with! Their gluten free buns are actually good, too.

Highly recommend, more than 5 stars My friend and I were in Dartmouth/Halifax for a week. When we arrived, we decided to have dinner and try a good local beer at Battery Park Beer Bar & Eatery. During one week was our favorite spot in Dartmouth. We were served by Jessie, who made us feel welcome and advised us on the menu. Very professional with a beautiful smile. The atmosphere is also very warm and homely.

Best spot to grab a quality craft beer in Dartmouth hands down! Lots of beers on tap to choose from. Worth the trip over from Halifax without a doubt as well. The Jughead burger is a classic and you can t go wrong with it.

Was there at noon, got seated and 2 young families arrived, noise level went up. Food was delicious (had the Scottish Egg)! Steep stairs.

This is my favorite beer bar in eastern Canada. 15 rotating taps of all NS craft, 2 extra cask taps, and 4 wine/cider taps. The food menu is small with excellent bar bites and burgers. A nice warm atmosphere rhat has stayed consistently great for years. If there is any downside, it is that the place is almost always packed and a bit noisy - but that just shows you how popular it is.

Had lunch here today and it was great! The food was delicious (I had the calamari ) and our server Jessie, was amazing! She was so kind and fun. Thank you battery park!!

I ordered for pick up this evening as a second chance - the first being trying to eat-in during the ice festival with a child and a baby. (This establishment is not very baby friendly as the high chairs dont even reach the tables). Anyways, I digress. Tonight I ordered for pick up. I was eating my burger (double Dartmouth style jug) at home, it was completely falling apart and somehow ended up upside down in the box, thankfully so, as when it fell it revealed a short, curly black hair. I wont be returning to give this place a third try.

One of my favorite spots for local food and amazing line up of craft beer. The staff are always fantastic!

Popped in there for a quick lunch at the bar. The setup and information display about the beers on tap is excellent. You know what youre getting and what youre paying. I had the nachos with spicy chicken, and they are hands down the best nachos in the world! Okay maybe not in the whole planet cuz I havent had nachos everywhere, but they are the best nachos Ive ever had in my 50 years. The food was delivered hot and quickly and the bartender was attentive informative and funny. Id recommend this establishment anyone and I cant wait to go back. The only caveat is that its up a flight of stairs, so I couldnt take my parents because they both cant navigate stairs. I dont know if theres an elevator for wheelchair access or not.

Great downtown Dartmouth location. We arrived on Saturday lunch hour and it was super busy. The service was great Food was good for the price. We found it was a bit cramped in the small space, and because of this, we found it difficult to converse with others at our table. Overall, I give it 4*

Went in here for a late afternoon lunch. The place was packed and had a fun atmosphere. Although the seating is a bit tight the place was very clean and hygienic. Ordered a Fried Chicken and a Mushroom Hoagie along with the Jupiter Cocktail and a Mocktail. The chicken sandwich was fine but we were left a bit disappointed with the Mushroom Hoagie. The fries were good too. The cocktail was excellent. Hope they improve upon the vegetarian/vegan menu but otherwise alright.

Great pub to get a variety of selections of local beer. We stopped in a quick flight of beer before flying out. The service was quick and friendly.

Great place for a tasty burger and a pint. The service was great and the draught variety was awesome. The patio had shade options. I hate the sun but my wife loves it so its great to get an option that makes us both happy. We were there celebrating a birthday. No one came to sing so that made us happy. Best poutine Ive ever had! Great gravy but the fries were amazing! My husband got the stroganoff poutine but he liked mine better. The Jughead hamburger was a little small and needed something, so I put the stroganoff mushrooms and sauce in it, and it was amazing! We had a flight of beer (Cole Harbour and Butter were my favorites).

What a great spot for a relaxing night out. Get the nachos, thank me later!

Truly one of the best hangout spots/bars in Downtown Dartmouth. The staff are extremely friendly, the decor panders to a mix of geek cultures in a maximalist and playful way, something both my boyfriend and I really enjoyed, and the atmosphere felt extremely relaxed and comfortable for two easily overstimulated bar-goers, though we were there extremely early in the day. Unfortunately we never had a chance to try the food, but the menu hits all the necessary classics and we hope to be back soon to try some! Vegetarian options: We never had the chance to try any, but there are a mix of vegetarian and vegan options available on the menu which are labeled as such!

Had the Jughead burger and it was delicious. The star of the show is definitely the spicy fries!!!! Soooo flavorful, a tad spicy but not overwhelming with spice. Will be back for more of the fries!!!

This place was very friendly. Was immediately offered a seat at the bar after a look around on the patio. Erin (sp?)served a well defined flight of IPAs with a Porter. I settled with the soma for another few rounds. Chatted well past closing on the beauty of Altlantic Canada and the wealth of treasures to behold. We had a party of three, two of us had the nachos, the third had the Jughead burger platter. All was excellent! Nachos were the best Ive ever had anywhere! Service was excellent. My only wish is that the restaurant was more accessible. The entry is up a short flight of stairs. Wheelchair accessibility: Entry to the seating area is up a short flight of stairs. Good handrails but not going to help if you cant do the stairs. Also, most of the seating is at bar height which is very inconvenient for anyone who has any physical restrictions, especially since they dont take reservations which means you cant ensure you have table height seating available.

Nice little spot to enjoy a beer, didn t have the food. I was surprised to see Fairweather Brewing as a can available as a local Hamiltonian, since I have barely seen their beers outside of Hamilton. That was a nice surprise.

Erin is a delight ! Gave me all the tourist Intel for peggys cove and Lunenburg. Didnt eat but everything looked and smelled delicious. Tons of beer choices and great diverse menu.

The best pub grub Ive had in a long time. I had the beet burger and Brussels sprouts and they were so so so good. Everyone working there that we interacted with was incredibly sweet and friendly. Vegetarian options: Beet burger was so good! Kid-friendliness: Everyone was lovely and nice to my young child and engaged with and talked to her.

This place is my go to for food on the Halifax side. The people are great there, the atmosphere is a good vibe, and the food is fantastic. Have delicious vegan options as well. They have a rotation of 20 beers on tap as well as a few other drinks too.
