Theres a lot of selection to choose from. They had some good breakfast choices. The Majority of meals are in the $20 range. Portion sizes are good

Underwhelming, small portions and not at all what is expected for the Dennys franchise. The restaurant may be new but it already appears dated and tired. The convenient location is a plus. Unfortunaltely with so many other restaurants in the area, Dennys will need a serious work up and kitchen improvements to compete, especially at the high price point.

Pharthana was wonderfully friendly & very attentive . Food was good , could be more generous with the hollandaise sauce .. stuffed French toast is the bomb ..

Lasagna was not good had to send it back but all the other food was amazing and the staff was awesome our waitress was lovepreet she is very friendly and good server Kid-friendliness: Great with kids and awesome

My wifes meal was burnt. Mine and sons bacon were burnt to the point that they shattered when bit into. One other couple was in the restaurant when we came in so not over loaded staff. 630 pm so not off hours. Would not recommend. The three other couples that came in as we were eating were all seated around us.

It was very busy and loud. Breakfast was not great. Both my husband and I had the lumberjack breakfast. Eggs & toast were terrible, toast barely buttered except a big blob in the centre. It took about 10-15 min to have our waitress come over to get our drink order. My coffee once I added the cream all separated in the mug. Waitress was really trying as it was hectic so no fault to her. We will likely not return. The manager came over as she noticed we were not enjoying our meal (we did not request to see her) and offered us a discount. She was very professional and lovely. Definitely is not like the Denny s we remember from Ontario.

Coffee was hot and the server was very pleasant but she didn t ask my partner if he wanted a refill on his water or come back to check how the food was. My family and I enjoyed our meals. The kids ate all of thier food, which is rare. Our sever Navdeep K was very friendly and checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food and who I assume was the manager came over and did a food quality check. We also received a coupon for a free appetizer, to be used the next time we return, and we will definitely be returning.

My friend and I really enjoy going out for breakfast. Today we decided to go to Dennys while out shopping! The service was Amazing! Quick! We were served Coffee and even got a laugh with the waitress! She took our order! It was a but busy so my friend and i enjoyed stacking the milk/creamers! At this point the manager walked pasted and made a point to stop and say nice . It was pleasant and the food was delicious! 5 stars all around! We pulled the manager aside to say how wonderful it was to see them on the floor with their staff! Thank you for an exceptional experience! Parking: The parking spots are small this in not Dennys fault!

We visited Dennys in Dartmouth Nova Scotia and we loved it. The food was great and the service was excellent.

We have had multiple great experiences over the last week at Denny s in the Sandman hotel. The food is great but the service is what made the experience one that we returned for, our server each time was Grishika and she was 12/10!!! Very personable experience we will be back, thank you.

We first went to Denny s in the summer (shortly after this location opened) and we were both less than impressed. At the time decided that maybe it was just new and had to work some kinks out .and decided to try again this morning. Really glad we did! Our breakfast was fresh and hot - and delicious. Our server, Leah, couldn t have been friendlier or more helpful. We will absolutely be back!

Busy atmosphere

Ive been wanting to try Dennys ever since it came to Dartmouth . This was my first time there . I ordered the eggs Benedict . When it came out I couldnt believe the portion size . I ordered the shredded potatoes as my side and it honestly looked like the remanence of someone elses plate ! The portion was sooooo small . The ham on the eggs was one small piece of shaved ham barely noticeable and you couldnt even taste it , it was so thin . The taste over all was ok. Unfortunately I left hungry and was out around 20 dollars ( which is outrageous for eggs Benny and for what you get ) On the other hand my husband had the bourbon burger and loved it . I would really like to give Dennys another chance ! Any type of credit would be appreciated Hoping this review helps in anyway .

Being vegetarian we really find it hard to find good food in Dartmouth , but today we stopped today at Denny s Dartmouth, and whole experience went so well, all thanks to our server Snigdha and kitchen preparations which made our food Customized ! I am obsessed with this place. Being a vegetarian, I must say that vegetarian food here is the best. Our server Snigdha made our day memorable. We always like its food n ambience but I must Snigdha is truly great. Her way of serving food and pleasing personality is appreciable. She presented oreo milkshake in a very unique way. She is good in giving option for food costumization.

Ordered two Desserts. Molten chocolate was a hard uncooked piece of chocolate. Cookie wasnt even warm. Ice Cream on top of both desserts was about 1 tablespoon worth each (not even close to what is advertised in the picture). Very disappointing..

Hmmmmm, its a Dennys so you expect them to conform to a standard, however it doesnt look like thats the case. The hamburgers are definitely NOT the same size as ones in the US. Both were not even round and never approached the size we have had in Florida. Fries were luke warm and stale. Good news, the service was great. Food...just not there yet.

Small portions and way overpriced better off making it at home

Atmosphere was nice, pleasant staff. I remember Dennys in Alberta and British Columbia had great food so I was excited to go to one in Dartmouth. The food was awful and not similar to Western Canadian locations. Menu said cream cheese frosting but whipped topping was used. Hollandaise sauce tasted like water with a small amount of butter. Will not be returning.

They offer free grand slam value 14.00 for your birthday. Food ok nothing to write home about, bacon, eggs toast cant go wrong although bacon a little dry

We had great service, the food is always good. We were there for my parents 55th anniversary and our server congratulated them and was very attentive. Dennys is our go to for a great meal, friendly service and great atmosphere.

I d suggest not using frozen blueberries in your fruit bowl. They were inedible. Food was tasty overall. Pancakes weren t fluffy and didn t care for the texture. Strawberry crepes were great, although I suggest using whipped cream instead of cream cheese or at least offer that as an option. Service was excellent. We came on my birthday and received a discount which was a pleasant surprise. I ll be back to try other items on the menu. Parking: Decent amount of spots available.

Have eaten here twice now. Both times there was not a long wait to be seated, service was excellent, and menu had lots to choose from. However, both times most of our food was quite cold, which really takes away from how delicious it should have been.

I enjoyed a late afternoon breakfast at the new Dennys in Dartmouth. Even though it was a long weekend Sunday, the restaurant was pleasantly uncrowded. I was greeted with a smile and seated promptly. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. I ordered the Denver omelette with very little cheese (next time Ill try it with no cheese at all!), and it was cooked exactly as requested. The eggs were perfectly hot and fluffy, and the filling had a nice grilled, slightly charred flavor. It was a tad oily for my liking, but thats a minor quibble with an otherwise fantastic omelette. The multigrain toast was tasty, though perhaps a little too toasted for my preference. And those shredded hash browns are delicious! I only wish there were more of them. The restaurant itself is really nice. I love the decor and all the windows, which give it a modern take on a cozy cabin vibe. The booths are private and I believe there are some table options for a more open experience.. Looking forward to my next visit.

The milkshakes are absolutely fantastic they bring you, your cup and the extra from the blender. Massive amounts of food on every dish. The waitress checks in just enough to make sure were content. Despite being busy the food was out withing 15 minutes everything was delicious. Parking: Dartmouth Crossing you just gotta drive to the other side of the hotels parking lot. Kid-friendliness: They immediately brought over a booster seat for the 1 year old! And the waitresses would interact with the baby and wasnt frustrated or annoyed when the baby touched her. They also gave us a colourings set just incase she was old enough for it.

This place is ok, but you can really notice the difference between the U.S. Dennys compared to Canadian Dennys.

I ve been putting off going because of all the negative reviews but came for supper and it was all lovely. The server was really good her name started with an L and ended in ia I believe. We will definitely be back. Food was delicious, no wait and excellent service.

Not all it s cracked up to be. Pancakes were lacklustre with one pad of butter on one pancake on top and morning on the other 2, no refills of coffee, eggs had no flavour except carton, one sausage was barely cooked the other overcooked, bacon barely cooked and hashbrowns were barely fried. You could tell someone was just going through the motions in the kitchen. Had to ask for sugar for tea and was given only 2 packs for a whole pot of tea. Place was busy but felt like everyone was just waiting for something .anything .. food, bill, to pay . Would not recommend. Won t be going back. It s better in the states and that s barely.

We enjoyed our breakfast for the most part, but the rice potato hashbrowns tasted like canola oil. To bad that things like hashbrowns are no longer cooked in butter? All in all, it was a great breakfast. I really enjoyed the French crepes. Delicious!

I have been to Denny s in Bangor and it was not good at all and was very reluctant to go to the Dartmouth one. It was delish, food hot and the Denver omlette was amazing. Our server Snigdha took amazing care of our party of five. She checked in on us frequently as did other members of the team, very family restaurant!

Definitely makes the top three worst places I ve ever ate. Street food is better cooked than this. Hash browns were completely raw, the pancakes came burnt, the french toast was completely soggy and cold pretty sure the egg it was dipped in was still raw breakfast meats were very undercooked, they only buttered the toast in the very middle, it s like they plopped a scoop in the middle and just let it melt there without spreading. Table was sticky. You could tell the server was embarrassed to even bring the food to the table as she mouthed sorry as she set it down. Definitely will never return nor recommend to anyone to eat here ever. There is a good chance I will get salmonella from this.

Food was okay. Harmanpreet the server was only checking in on one person at the table when it was a party of 2. Came by twice and only acknowledged the person I was sitting with. My coffee pot is empty, water needed refilling. Not a single eye connection, its like I dont even exist. Too bad, I was paying the bill. For $70 tab for 2 people for breakfast, I expected more quality in service. I still leeft a tip but please know that is for the kitchen because food was not bad contrary to many complaints regarding quality. Will not be back due to the poor service.

Terrible experience at this Denny s. The food was served to us cold. The presentation of the food was unappetizing to say that least and the taste was not good unfortunately. Our service was also sub par. Our server was extremely quiet and timid, barely said a word to us, Don t be a server if you don t have a personality. That s the point of the job, I honestly shouldn t have tipped because there was nothing to tip her for?

Our waiter was amazing, food was not the best ordered bourbon burger meal there was no sauce on the burger fries were over cooked, my sister in-law order lasagna which was over cooked and very crunchy on the outter areas, the floors are super slippery my toddler fell many times while at the establishment, general manager came as we were waiting to pay our bill, he was extremely respectful and apologized for the food offered us more food for no cost and expunged our bill, 5 star for customer service we will return at a later date to try again

Its Sunday at 3pm the food was cold the hasbrowns were grossly undercooked, The over easy eggs were broken and hard, my bacon was burnt to a crisp literally! My daughters fries were half burnt. I used to go to Dennys in Calgary religiously but wont be back again! Gross is a compliment.

Food was slightly over cooked. Eggs were made wrong. Salt shaker had the salt all stuck in the holes, friend couldn t substitute eggs with his meal for something else. I ordered pop and finished it 10mins into my meal, never got a refill for my 40min stay. Was certainly not impressed with this $50 expense.

Very slippery floor

Servers were very nice, the restaurant was clean and tidy, and the meal was great. Being open 24 hours is a nice bonus.

Fast, friendly, and delicious!

The food was super tasty. Mac and cheese skillet. Creamy mac and the meat on top was good. Onions rings were tasty and the bbq sauce is sweet and excellent.

Uodate as of September: the pancakes consistency has severely diminished. 4 months ago, we took home our leftover pancakes and the next day, they were still fluffy and delicious, better than McD s! Recently, it s became really crappy, and tough to eat the next day. Also, the servers don t smile as much as before. We love this new breakfast place and we ll for sure be back here! Pros: Fresh new place, even the ketchup bottles are new! The dining tables, chairs/booths, high chairs are not yet sticky from overuse! We ordered the French crepes and French toast, and the kids ordered from the kids menu, chicken tenders and mac n cheese with sides of 3-pc pancake for breakfast. I fell in love with the pancakes! IMHO, it s better than ihop For dinner last night, we ordered beef steak and tbone steak and oh my gosh, they re both tender and yummy! They come with 2 sides each and we ate them all, we were so full! Lol The servers were really nice and polite, and the manager as well. Shoutout to Harman. And for the manager on-duty that time, for accommodating spouse s birthday treat (for a later date). We found a new spot for us to dine and hang-out, and we will be baaaack! Sorry, no food pics, we devoured them when they were served!

The worst $80 I spent. My wife got the fried chicken dinner and I got the T-bone steak and eggs. My wife s chicken looked like it came out of a frozen box from Sobeys, her broccoli was clearly half cooked in the microwave, still cold. My steak that I asked to be cooked medium rare, looked like it was a pork chop. It was literally the worst steak I have ever had. I am currently writing this in the parking lot about to throw up my meal. 0/10 do not recommend.

Yuck. food was cold and bland. kids portions are laughably small. server was rude to my kids. server didnt refill my coffee. will not be back.

Food was good. Service was good. The pancakes were great. The hash browns were good but a bit tasteless. The french toast tasted a little less like traditional French toast and a little more like donuts (which was a nice surprise). Coffee was ok. Menu was much bigger than expected.

Snigdha was wonderful for our first experience at Denny s, the pancakes are yummy!

The food was good but that was as far as it goes.... unfortunately when I went there was only 2 other guys in dennys that were super drunk and the waitress thought the best place to sit me in a completely empty restaurant was right beside these 2 loud drunk guys.... super loud and yelling the whole time and every 2nd word was a cuss word, they even went as far as asking the waitress to come back to their room and threatened to knock out the manager because there was a mess on the bar side and they couldnt understand the manager for dennys isnt responsible for anything other then dennys... completely ruined my appetite and heard this guys say to the manager *still yelling* that they will be staying at the hotel for the next six months and will be there everyday.... unfortunately I will never go again seeing how the staff will sit you beside two drunk guys yelling the whole time in a completely empty restaurant
