Ever since we arrived to Nova Scotia, this has been our go to place. Landed here by luck since it was the only breakfast joint opened at 7:30 am, and even though we were skeptical since our daughter had a lot of food allergies we gave it a shot. She never had a reaction to any of her food allergies and we are grateful Frankey. Anything we have tried from the menu has been good, from sandwiches, waffles, omelets to poutine.

There never open on time

Terrible order services. I ve ordered ahead of time several times to be told only a 25 minute wait till the said food is ready. Every time I go down after my set timer goes off I still end up sitting in the store waiting for them to make my food when it sometimes takes half an hour. The point of ordering ahead of time is so that the food is ready by arrival. Smh need to work on that.

Don t waste your time with DoorDash pickup. After being told it will take another 10-15 minutes several times it has been over an hour since the original order was placed. It appears DoorDash customers receive lowest priority.

We waited like an hour and half for our food(20 min for coffee/ another 20 min to take orders). Server gave food to a table came 30 min after us. Additionally, she placed a food on our table after we touched it. She said it is wrong table took the food and gave it to another table. And she did this twice! Everyone was stumned.

My daughter had the blueberry pancakes and they were marvelous! No more Cora s for us, it will be our breakfast place when we go to Halifax/Dartmouth. The food is delicious!! Super friendly service! This is one of the best lunches Ive had in a long time! I dont normally eat breakfast potatoes, but this time the seasoning was incredible and they were delicious!! Also the best blueberry pancakes my daughter has ever had! We wont go anywhere else, its become our favorite place for lunch when we go to Halifax!

I recently visited Nanas breakfast house and had their poutine with hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely amazing! The hollandaise sauce added a delicious twist to the classic dish. The place is owner operated, and the service was fantastic, friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Overall, I highly recommend Nanas breakfast house for their delicious food and excellent service. If youre in the area, be sure to stop by. (PS. they no longer only take cash; now they do online orders too.)

Good breakfast. Great service. Simply menu. Great sausage and eggs. Simple interior. Music was a bit loud. Did not encourage hanging around. Would have liked to try one pancake but limited extra options did not include that. We will come back. Were too busy enjoying the company and the food, forgot pictures.

Delightful little restaurant in a small strip mall. On first impression one can see debris outside, it does take a lot of effort to pick up any garbage that is strewn in front of your establishment or for that matter wiping thecwindows and doors first thing in the morning. This is your calling card. Pride costs nothing. Regarding the food. I am not a fan of deep fried sausage, my server asked the chef if he would cook mine on the grill and he graciously did. The only critique I have is the food is heaped and I was served french fries instead of breakfast home fries. My friend ordered a breakfast with eggs and waffles. The eggs were placed on top of the waffles...yuck. Waffles should arrive on a separate plate. It was just so unexpected to see this presentation. I suggest the owner invests in some large oval plates not the small dinner plates they are presently using. That aside, restaurant is clean and staff are just lovely. So...bottom line, tidy the outside and the windows, dont heap food, home fries for breakfast not french fries and please dont deep fry sausage, they can be pre cooked in an oven and then heated on a grill that keeps them from drying out. Nice staff.

My best friends and I go to brunch every weekend. Weve gone to Nenas several times now and everything Ive tried on their menu has been delicious. One of my favorite brunch meals is Eggs Benedict, and Ive tried it in a lot of restaurants (in Halifax, Dartmouth, and Montreal)--I tried theirs today. Well....it was the BEST Ive ever eaten--the eggs were a perfect medium, the bacon cooked perfectly (I dont like ham), and the sauce....the sauce was perfectly creamy and flavorful. They serve homefries with it and they were delicious, too (and I am NOT a fan of fries)....and they have great coffee, too. Do yourself a favor and give Nenas a try.

Friendly staff, amazing food, great prices

Food was decent, breakfast wrap was delicious, home fries were not my favourite and a little on the dry side. Cute and clean looking place. Was not expecting to walk into a breakfast joint @ 10am and have heavy and very explicit rap music playing. That was pretty uncomfortable. After explaining that we were uncomfortable with the music choice, the music did not change. We asked if they could turn it down and they did a bit, thank you. Would not return with that atmosphere.

Honestly great. Huge portion. Fries were crispy and moist. Eggs done to request. Salty and soft waffle. Juicy sausage. Reasonable price. Excellent. Were happy tourists.

Definitely a hidden gem! Was warned there would be a wait when we arrived as they were backed up with online orders. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed while we waited. I ordered the breakfast poutine and beans. Both were fresh, hot and delicious. Can t wait to go back.

Expected more from previous post. The eggs could have been cook a little longer, they serve that with French fries, which tasted greasy and finally the sausages did not taste good, not sure how they cooked them, they tasted like grease. I would not recommend it.

What it says, breakfast and lunch. Great service, good food, and quick cook. Ive always preferred small local restaurants, and this one is excellent, with very reasonable prices. Even came up with a small bowl of vinegar for my wifes fries. Apparently never had anyone ask before. Lol. Dang Ontarians! Highly recommended! UPDATE: Back 2 years later, and liked it just as much. Not gourmet, not much to look at, but clean with great service and food. Still recommend it!

Food was good, service was awful. Didnt check vacinne papers, took awhile to take our order and when he did, the young gentleman was very rude. Someone in our party changed their mind mid-order, something simple and was very polite about it and his response was Ugh... Jesus Christ... probably wont be back for a bit...

My wife and I wanted to try somewhere different for breakfast. When we received our breakfast, the bacon was barely half cooked, the home fries were partly raw and everything was cold. This is not healthy.

This is one of the only places in Dartmouth serving real breakfasts early in the morning, so we decided to give it a try. It is a simple family run restaurant. Service was quick and and friendly, but we were the only customers in the spot. I ordered the Plough Drivers Breakfast and it had bacon, sausage and ham with the eggs. The home fries are actually just French Fries, but they were hot and crispy, so I did not mind. I will certainly go back again.

The waiter doesnt know the difference between real ham and the processed roll. I asked if it were real ham or toupee ham. What I was served resembled back bacon. However the sausage and eggs were perfect considering alot of places dont get over medium correct.
