The chicken was amazing. The french fries was served fresh and hot. The service is awesome. The experience was great!

Haven t been to Swiss chalet in months. We went yesterday and there was no 1/4 white meat dinner??? Wait! What! That s all I eat. I ended up with the ugliest chicken tenders. Tasted better than it looked. Husband soup was cold. He would have eaten cool but longest service ever. People complaining everywhere. Hope this was a one off day.

We were served by James this evening at Harvey s Dartmouth. Great customer service, incredibly helpful and personable. We really enjoyed talking with him while we ordered.

Swiss Chalet offers delicious, fresh fries and tender rotisserie chicken. The food is consistently tasty, with friendly service and generous portions. A great choice for a satisfying, casual meal.

Family went for supper and had festive specials. The chicken was dry, fries were overcooked and the green beans were cold and one serving actially had ice on them and were partially frozen.

Our server Ashley was amazing! So friendly and helpful :)

I had a fantastic experience at Swiss Chalet! Simi provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. I tried the chicken soup and the chicken roll with honey sauce, and both were amazing. Highly recommend!

Ate at Harveys which is inside the swiss chalet. I love their burgers and I choose what condiments I want

Used to love this place so much but definitely gone downhill. They were out of chicken breast (?!) so I got the tenders which were very overcooked, dry and crunchy. Fries which are usually my favorite were super dry and overcooked too. Bun was not warm and once again dry. Took awhile for being an empty restaurant .;( The festive meal my MIL got definitely looks pretty abysmal for a premium dish. Too bad but I guess just another failing local chain. Can just buy chalet sauce powder now and a whole chicken from grocery store for 10 bucks.

We arrived at 6:15, the food took 45 minutes to show up. It wasnt even busy. My sons pot pie was frozen in the middle, so we sent it back. My poutine was lukewarm. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication from the staff, and the amount of time it took to get our food, not to mention the poor quality.

We are regulars at Swiss Chalet, but this was the first visit to this particular establishment, and the last. Ordered coffee which was lukewarm when it arrived. This was replaced by the worst coffee I have ever tasted, burnt and awful flavour. Ordered the Thanksgiving special meal, but it was lukewarm. The box dressing was disgusting in taste and texture. The chicken was overcooked. I complained to the supervisor who to be fair refunded one of the two meals and took the coffee off the bill but by then the damage had been done.

We were so disappointed with both the service and the food today. My husband and I are long time Swiss Chalet fans- he used to work there before we got together and it s his comfort food so we typically go to a Swiss chalet once a month on average. We used to really like this location, but over the past 5 years it s has gone down hill- the only reason we were still going there was because they use a different wing sauce then most locations- it s the same mild sauce as Montanas, which I personally love. Anyways, after today we are done with this location. When we arrived there was only one server on, she wasn t rude, but certainly wasn t pleasant. No smile, no hey how are you, nothing. She half apologized for the wait but it was insincere at the least. Just to take our drink order was 15 minutes. We ordered food at the same time. It took 20 minutes to get our appy- we ordered the loaded perogies- they were kinda soggy, the cheese was under the perogies and not quite melted. No side plates and we asked for them the waitress said they were out . The restaurant was almost empty. Fine whatever. Typically they take about 10 minutes. We then waited another 20 minutes for our food, I ordered the wings meal with a Caesar salad, extra sauce. When it arrived the wings and the top half of the salad were both luke warm. There was no extra sauce. My husband ordered ribs and chicken, the ribs were not very good- not what they used to be at all. Waitress never came back to check on us until we were pretty much ready to go- thankfully another waitress who was just starting her shift did, and got the sauce I ordered. That waitress also brought the bill, and I will give that waitress props because she took over as we were leaving and handled the billing issues.

Ordered online which was pretty easy. My order was ready a little later than requested, but it was Thanksgiving day and they were very busy (which I understood). The staff were polite and kept me apprised of how much longer it would be.

I liked this rest . The best angus beef burger in the Dartmouth comparing to all fast food restaurants. Manjinder serviced us with the pleasure a lot of times . Can recommend this place. .

After I dined and paid for my meal, the server asked politely to leave a google review if I enjoyed my experience. I said sure. Then she quickly and aggressively asked if I could do it right away. Being a polite person, I complied and followed her instructions and then.....she would not leave the table!!! Trying to bully me into leaving a 5 star review. Keep saying oh you dont have to fill the rest of it out, just post it, just post it, JUST POST IT!!!! It was the strangest and most surreal awful experience I have ever had!!!! Never ever going back.

Every meal I get there, which is usually quarter chicken is fresh, hot and amazing. Keep it up.

Grossest Swiss Chalet in the HRM. Mice running around and the staff harass you for Google reviews. This place has gone way downhill.

I want to start off by saying that I have been to this location many times before, albeit for takeout. Therefore, as a habitual customer, I thought today would be a good day for my family and I to stop by and dine in. My wife and I took on the all you can eat rib deal, and the kids ordered from the kids meal section. At first, the staff was very attentive, that is, until I noticed a rat stop in the middle of the isle, and then scurry under one of the booths not far from where we were sitting. I brought this to the attention of a male staff member who seemed to be like a supervisor, and he said oh yes we know, were looking for it.....he probably ran in from an open door. As I observed the non interested demeanor, I simply returned to my table and told my family to get ready to leave. It was after that conversation with the male staff that the previously over enthusiastic female staff members completely stopped coming to my table. I ended up having to request my bill from a staff member cleaning the floors. After what seemed like an unexpectedly long time, my server came to give me my bill. I was given my DND discount, which I then returned in the form of a 15% tip. This experience has completely turned me off ever returning to this particular restaurant and ordering anything from Swiss Chalet for the foreseeable future. I take reviews very seriously, and I hope those who follow my reviews head my warnings.

They don t care about the delivery orders and only prefer the restaurant orders. I was waiting there for about 45 minutes and people were coming in ordering and getting their order in 5 minutes.

We hadnt been to a Swiss Chalet since pre-Covid! Last night we decided to give it a try. We ordered a Club Wrap w/fries, a Quesadilla w/baked potatoe & Chicken tenders w/ceasar salad. The restaurant was clean, the food was served hot & the staff went above & beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Portions were large. Staff was very courteous. It was a great experience & we will go back again!

Food was good, however service to be seated, served and the bill took a long time and multiple servers. The tvs were on one local cable channel, air conditioner wasnt on and 32 degrees outside. Refills had to be asked for, and servers kept walking by. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking too far from building

Ive been coming to swiss chalet for 20 plus years. Was my favorite restaurant to go to. Lately its gone down hill, food is cold, fries taste like theyve been heated a few times. The chicken is dried out. Staff is still great, but they dont seem happy. Customers do feel the stress. Be along time before I come back if ever.

Worst customer experience I have had in a long time. Messed up my drive thru order and then I had to talk to 6 different people to try and get it corrected. When I talked to the manager he hung up the phone as I was explaining the problem to him.

Food was great- server were kind. We really enjoyed ourselves the only suggestion is that there was a delay between appetizers and main however the server were frequently checking in us and gave us updates. Would def. Come again.
