I was at this location at 8:30ish in the morning on Thursday … the fellow that was working was awesome…. He was the only person there at that early time so he had to take care of the drive-thru and I store customers (I was inside)…..he was as fast a 1 person could possibly be, upbeat and smiling the.whole time…. You have a great team member
Understaffed to the moon and back. 22 mins to serve 2 people before us and a collective 37 mins to get out the door. 6pm on a Sunday. It's never going to change this review will effect nothing. Kearney lake did the same thing to me in 2017 1 person during lunch rush. Not due to shortage, just expectation. No fault on the employees the franchise owner yes. Through and through. Longer then eating at a restaurant
I’m not much for Subway. But the family enjoys it. This particular Subway is run very well. I’ve always had the most incredible customer service. The team there clearly cares and it shows. I was there today during a rush. And the multitasking, juggling, and moving quickly was all done with a smile and a kindness that I find is rare in the fast food world. I’ll continue to frequent this location not just for the food, but for the quality of the staff.
This location is my favorite until this evening. When I asked for cheese on my schwarma bowl the tiniest amount was added and when I asked for more the employee making my sub said it would cost extra because they have to weigh the shredded cheese now. I asked when this change happened and he proceeded to tell me they (the staff will no longer get free subs if they give "extra"). Shame on this location for not making their customers priority and taking away employee privileges over a little bit of cheese. Are all subways like this now or is it just this location.
I was here Saturday night, it’s a better sub place than others as the atmosphere was calm and clean. Service was smooth. Two girls helped me a lot with my order and food served perfectly according to my choice.
I showed up here Friday night for a quick bite and saw the new menu. My wife and I tried out the new chicken shawarma and chicken rancher after recommendations from the staff. Very happy with these items. With the new menu, there is plenty more to try as well.
I try to avoid Subway, but I was in the area, hungry, and this location looks so clean and modern from the outside so I figured it would be good to dine in here. Nope. Only fresh vegetable in sight were the tomatoes. Everything else looked rotten or was empty. Their new proteins were gone. We asked the guy working if he had more fresh ingredients but he said no. I got my sub with just tomatoes and the last of the olives and went to sit down to eat. There was only 1 semi-clean table in this store. One guy working the front and barely any customers and still this dirty in here? Yikes.

Stupidest parking lot set up Ive EVER seen in my life
I did an online order to save some time. I went to pick my order up(app said it was ready(had to wait because it wasnt ready)). Brought it home, opened the wrapping to find that 1.I was given the wrong bread, 2. I was given the wrong cheese. I ended up having to drive back( which now cost me money and time). I brought my receipt back with me to prove what my exact order was, the guy at the front look a quick look at my sub and automatically said Nope this isnt right!! He made me a new/ fresh proper sub. This isnt the first time an employee has messed up on a sub.
Can you teach your sandwich artists not to lean on the bun while slicing it open, gets pretty squished.They were in such a panicky hurry, rather have it done properly than quickly.
Not good service the guy who works in closing shift no manners of talking and if you go for pick up he will ignore and then say not ready very rudely.
Rolled up to the drivethru with 2 cars in front of me. Was sitting there for over 30 minutes. The car in front of me finally drove off with their order and 10-15 minutes later I was still sitting waiting to order and no one took my order so I ended up leaving without ordering.

Update: still the worst Subway Ive been too. Was hoping that the long list of bad reviews here would nudge the owner to improve it but apparently it hasnt. They still serve stale bread, are out of many things, and the owner doesnt even care. If youre looking for a good sub in CH go to Randys, Alexandras, Kennys, etc.; even SuperStore subs are much better than this Subway. Very poor customer service. I had a problem with my order (the bread was stale), which is OK, it does happen. The problem was that the owner didnt seem to care. I reported the problem, and all I got was an email back saying they will train their staff better. No offer to make it right, no attempt to fix it. I havent been back and wont be. Edit: still the worst restaurant/take-away in Cole Harbour. One thing that makes most Subway restaurants stand apart is their fresh bread. You can smell the tastiness as you walk in. This one seems to deliberately bake their bread and then put it aside for three or four days to make sure its stale by the time they serve it. Dietary restrictions: Dont eat here if you enjoy food at all.
Waiting for door dash order for more than 30 minutes couldn t get any help from employees

I was there to pickup doordash order . I have waited for 20 minutes but she did not start my order . She was very rude to me . I ask her how much time for my order she said i dont know. Very unprofessional.

The beautiful location is completely spoiled by the unprofessional behaviour of the employees. The staff lacks basic manners and customer service skills, particularly the two girls on Sunday evening shift who I assume from India. They are extremely slow at the counter and seems to go out of their way to annoy you and make you want to leave. The sandwich preparation is also very poor, the amount of filling in the sandwich is disappointingly low. Avoid this location at all cost.

Tonight I ordered eight subs, I only received seven, witch is fine, I understand mistakes happen, especially after that many subs, my issue Im having is that the phone number to this location doesnt work, it rings once, goes fuzzy and hangs up, I live out of the city so its not as easy to go to the store to get reimbursed for the missing sub, and also the phone issue is kinda odd, the subs we did receive were awesome, my issue is more so with the phone number issue and how we cant communicate with the establishment.

Really bad service. Workers are not respectful and make you feel stupid. I apologized for not knowing something and the worker gave me a dirty look and said okay with attitude. When I asked what meats they had the worker had said whatever is there and I said can you name them cause like I am not a meat expert so I don t know everything about meat, and then she continued to be rude to me the whole time I was ordering and made me feel forced to get a meal with it. I do not recommend going to this subway.

This location is very new and clean, it has lots of space for eating on the inside. The staff is very nice and it is located in a very convenient spot.

They seem to have a bread problem at this location. The first time we asked for untoasted, the bread was not toasted but was stale which was crunchy and flakey. The second time they were out of bread. Today we called ahead asking if they had herb bread to which they said yes. Upon arrival they did not, saying it was in the oven, they had only white bread which was fine, however the bread again was stale and crumbly.
Last several times I went the bread tasted like it was a month old. Hard, stale, and crunchy. Been to other locations and the bread is fine. Only seems to be this location. Wouldnt recommend unless they fix their bread issue.
I love this new Subway location! The staff are always friendly and helpful, theres always a great selection, theres a lot of parking, and the store is brand new and beautiful! Every time Ive gone here the food has been fresh and delicious! I definitely recommend this location!

I ve lived all across Canada and this is the worst subway I have ever been too. Staff have terrible attitudes and food quality is poor. I wish there was another subway within walking distance because I will miss eating subway now. Very upset. The person I assume is the owner made me feel like less than nothing. I m actually crying. If you are reading this guy who served me I hope you know you hurt my feelings and ruined my day, my dinner, and my happy go lucky state I was in before I decided to try to have subway for dinner. Thanks a lot of the worst interaction and service ever.

Currently understaffed and having difficulty keeping up with in-house, drive-through and online orders. Food is still good, just be prepared to wait a bit longer than expected for your food.
The drive-thru is really handy when you re in a rush. They take the time to get your order right at the speaker.
You want to talk about slow. So incredibly painful. 25 minutes for 3 customers is unacceptable. No one moves with any type of purpose.

Nice drive thru service, my friend cant get enough of their turkey and guacamole wrap. Best part is its customizable to your taste for sauces and veggies. Staff have always been very nice, accurate at this spot.

When I arrived a girl was waiting on somebody which was fine. She finished her order she walked in front of me and said Ill be with you in a minute never to return Memaw three other people walking around everybody looking at me but no one would serve me. Finally one of the guys came up and asked me is that my sandwich theyre ready to be made it was not it was one of the employees that made their sandwiches first before serving people not very good experience. Finally two people came out and helped to make my three foot long Subs their service was good once they came out but you need to concentrate more on your clients that are in front of you and not make them stand around waiting and make your own sandwiches first
Asked for fresh bread that was not crumbling on top but did not get it and they did not give me my cookies i bought got a attitude when ordered a drink at the window. Will not be going back

Unfortunately I complimented the servers at this location on their service within the driveway only to get home with stale crunchy bread. Disappointing subway. Please serve up what you would want to consume yourself. Stale bread should be thrown out and not served.
Me, my sister and my mom all got the lobster subs 6 inch. They are very good this year, its all lobster meat, we each got at least one full claw. The lobster was moist and yummy. The staff at this location are very friendly, this is the best subway around imo.
Went through the drive thru and tried the potato bun sandwiches. They are on for 2 for for $5 ... WITH the purchase of a beverage. My total came to $8 and change. Regular price potato buns without a beverage works out to roughly the same price. They are tasty and definitely hit the spot.

Pushing Covid Pass
Really happy with how they set up ordering sandwiches in a drive through setting. Ive never had any issues with quality or order correctness. They tackled Covid very seriously at this location and kept on chugging through the pandemic, which was great. Very convenient to stop and get lunch or dinner as you drive by.

So slow at the drive though they make each sub as you order so if your 5 or 6 cars back you better off finding a different place to eat. That being said the food was good any they were friendly.

So good its gone! I traveled across town to go to my favorite location in Cole Harbour. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic they are only serving via the drive thru, but dont be afraid... they move through fast and get my order right every time. Courteous and clean service.
Condiments and meats always taste fresh
Quite possibly the worst sub shop. You cant go inside because they dont want you to see them mess up your sandwich. I understand people a new but you cant even use the right meat or toast the sub, even tho you asked.

Asked for honey oat bread,when noticed that bread that was being cut didn t look right asked if it is actually honey oat.Answer was no,they ran out and don t have it.Hello?! Can you mention it and ask if we want to make a different choice instead of just making your own decision. Then after cutting bread,employee decided to look for tuna we asked for.Surprise,they do not have tuna. There are so many other places to eat.Needles to say we left and not going to be back. If you own/manage this location,I really hope you learn that this is exactly how you loose customers.
Mostly a good place to eat. Messed up my sub a few times, leaving things off it that were supposed to be there, using the wrong meat or bread. But those are mostly rare instances.

Friendly but painfully slow. Very annoying that the dining room is closed and you must wait in the drive thru. This should be very CLEARLY stated on the app when ordering. Had to wait over 10 minutes for an order placed about 30 mins ago. What s the point? Should be grab and go or have an express lane for those who already ordered. Then the order was wrong when I got home. Very annoyed!

The food is fine. What I dont like is that I cant pick up my food from the drivethru contactless. After watching Marketplace its its proven the highest bacteria and germ count is on the debit machine. This is even with staff cleaning them. The safest way to use a debit machine is contactless. I dont have the luxery at this store because the staff has a tip function on the debit machine. This means I have to actually opt out or choose a tip by touching the machine. I dont have an issue with tipping, but it defeats the whole purpose of having contactless purchase.

Went into subway today. Usually I like the atmosphere but today it was very cold and uninviting. I understand lunch rush it can be very busy. But when the sandwich artist is very robotic with asking questions. It was very weird. Not great customer service today.

Not very good....they werent very busy but they rushed and slapped it together like they had a bunch of orders to do....they didnt even cut through the subs. Wont go to the Cole harbour location again when this crew is working.
Very modern and a fresh update to the Subway look in this new store. Wifi plus charging stations at tables. Food was on point as usual and we noted as busy as it was the staff were extra with everyone to make up for the long wait.
The staff is great , friendly and funny . My sub was exactly how I wanted it and there was no problem with LOTS of extra pickles .
