Texas Roadhouse in Dartmouth

Me and my friends had a fantastic dinner, everything came out delicious (and very quick!)! but the real stars of the show was Jewel our server, and Jasmine who took care of us while we waited. they both were absolutely fantastic.

We had a party of 6 adults squeezed into a booth. My husband had to eat with one hand and I couldnt even see my Uncle who was sitting on the same side of the booth, he was on the end, I was on the inside. It was so noisy and busy, I couldnt even get the waitresses attention as I would have liked to have my steak cooked a little more. The waitress told us about the special on gift certificates but I couldnt even get her attention to tell her we wanted to buy some until the other people in our party were standing up to get ready to leave. We always love the food and service, but this time it was just too hectic and crazy. We went in at 4:00 last Sunday, December 1st, 2024. I also would like to add, I went to the ladies room before leaving and was going to meet my family outside, I literally had to wait for 16 people to go past me as they were going into the dining area, and I was trying to get to the door to leave. All I could think was what a fire hazard this was! Im sorry it really was the worst experience at Texas Roadhouse in No. Dartmouth, MA. We have always enjoyed our meals and service as the Texas Roadhouse near our home in East Greenwich, RI. Parking: It was really discouraging, we were looking forward to having a nice dinner with our family?

we came here last night and had one of the best experiences we have ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. our server Niah was the sweetest human, fast, accommodating and on top of things while also giving us space to eat. the food was great and as always the bread was the best part.

Paid $54 and change, not about the $$, I feel 1app, and 2cocktails with kicker, no alcohol in it only a fancy glass, dirty one too. I work in the reasturant business. mac and cheese is out of a box.

Food was bland, atmosphere was clean, service almost made us leave. The lady at the front has been rude on many different trips here. Our waitress would hardly talk to us, rolled her eyes alot, you could tell she didnt want to be there and couldnt keep it to herself. Not the best location.

Update your business hours. It says 10pm on Sundays and your wasting peoples time when they get their are 8:50 and your closing in 10 min.

Only restaurant with consistency with food and service always great

First time eating at Texas Road House. I like that they came out with four different types of sides that they offered, so that we can try, being that this was me and my husbands first time. We had the the 12oz ribeye, the half ribs green beans and loaded mash potatoes. Everything was very good

Great dinner experience

Yum you can taste the fire on the chicken and steak. The server was excellent as usual . The lighting was too dim its not easy to see.

Service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. Went Thursday at 5:30 pm on 10/3/24.

Our server, Colleen, was awesome! She was very attentive even though it was busy. She really interacted with my grandson and was just incredibly friendly and professional. The food is always good here and the atmosphere is fun.

My wife and I went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate her Birthday, which I whispered to the hostess. Our Server, Angie, was just great. We never had to wait or look for her when we needed something. The steak and ribs were perfect. The Servers sang Happy Birthday, Texas Roadhouse style. I enjoyed that. We had a terrific time and we are going back soon and bringing my cousin and his wife. Music is way to loud

North Dartmouth location Lets start off with our server...Sydney she was absolutely amazing!! 10s all around for her. Atmosphere was great. Food was amazing. Great all around experience.

Came in for dinner. Party if two. We advised the host we wanted a bigger table or booth. She took us to a dirty table for 2 and ask us to follow her back to front while it got cleaned!!! I mentioned we wanted a bigger table and she said it is the only table she had when the restaurant was NOT busy with plenty available tables. We walked out !!!! This was the 2nd bad encounter at this location!!!!!!!!!

The hostest was very rude and did not greet in a welcoming manor that invites you to want to dine there. Our server, Kira, was very pleasant and kind which was the lone bright spot of the visit. The food was meh, the mac and cheese was watery and bland, even my 11 year old said that Easy mac is better than this.

Texas roadhouse well we have been here a million times. I live almost 2 hrs away but visit my parents in Westport weekly. This Texas roadhouse has never disappointed us. The food is always fresh and delicious. This past week we had Sydney as our server. She went above and beyond to accommodate our disabled mother and my wheelchair bound husband. She was the best for sure, very considerate and attentive. Sydney was by far one of the best servers we have ever had. Her parents raised a wonderful human being. Thank you Sydney, you made our Sunday Funday Parking: Plenty of parking, there is two parking lots that join together. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wheelchairs can fit through the door. The tables are quite tight together so not the easiest to maneuver. They will hold your wheelchair at the entrance so you can sit on the chair.

Texas Roadhouse is one of the last truly exceptional chain restaurants in terms of atmosphere, quality, and price. Every visit leaves me impressed. The customer service is consistently outstanding, the portions are generous, and I always leave happy and full. Highly recommended!

Good was excellent with excellent service

Great service and delicious food.

This was a clean Texas Road House location. We ordered apps and meals, which came out really good. The bread was unfortunately not warm, and a couple of pieces had some soggy spots but still good with the cinnamon Butter. Parking was not an issue at the time we went to eat, but I can see it being a challenge if you go around lunchtime with other businesses around sharing that space.

Ive never had a bad server at Roadhouse in Dartmouth. Highly recommend, staff truly cares about quality and consistency.

This location does not know how to cook steaks properly. Medium rare is well done to them. Would recommend any other steakhouse, if possible if looking for good steak. Sides and apps are okay.

So I recently went to the restaurant and me and my friend had to wait awhile but it wasnt too bad. But once we got our table, and took our orders, there was this very polite waitress who took our orders and gave us updates on our food, which she told us the reason why we were waiting so long and gave us her apologies. She was so lovely and so polite, and I wasnt even upset about waiting for my food, once we finally got it. I will definitely recommend her again when I come back!!!! Shoutout to Angela!!! When we were getting seated they wanted to put my husband and I in corner crowded booth when I asked to be switched she made us wait so long and just put us in the same booth in the other corner. By now I just took it she took forever (Kieyana) our server to bring our food we saw people who seated after us eat and leave then she came over to say by the time they got to our order they were out of sweet potatoes. We ordered veggies still no food then the manager came over to tell us they were out of sweet potatoes I informed we already told our waitress and she said oh tell me again I said no. There was something strange in the veggies and they were cold our meals were cold and way too salty. The food and service was horrible. They made us wait when half the restaurant was empty. They played the music twice as loud as usual. The place is horrible I really hope they close down.

I mostly come for the steak, the steak is 5 stars all the way. I love the apps. Good chili. Good menu choices. Good service. Prices are fair. Right off the highway, but with the overgrowth, you might miss it. Decent parking. Can be a little loud sometimes. Definitely gets packed fast, plan accordingly Vegetarian options: Vegan options were limited, but avaliable Parking: A little tight getting in and out of the entrance. Parking in front and back, but fill up fast. Kid-friendliness: Can be loud, but kid friendly and have kids menu and tablet with games

Just wanted to shout out the server we had named Jamie. She was so awesome and hilarious! It was absolutely packed and busy in the restaurant and she was so attentive, she had immaculate vibes. The food was excellent. My friends and I are frequent flyers here but we are sure to be back again just for her!

Definitely one of the best locations in Eastern MA, and my go-to despite having one in my own town (~30 mins away). You get in quick even when theyre busy, service is always awesome, and the food is consistently good.

So far i have been waiting a solid 10-15 minutes just to even be served and the service feels unwelcoming and we have been waiting for a bread refill like for christ sake these people get paid for this lol

did not mind waiting actually good to see the place busy but i wanted to look at a menu in the lobby and was given a mini size menu instead of the normal table menu

Delicious food, Sweetest Server, full belly!!

Server was on it. Manager checked on us. The sample they brought to try out werent appealing for the most part. The mushrooms were ok the corn good. The baked potato was perfection as potatoes go. The NY strip was cooked correctly however it was at least 1/3 fat. Busy place things happen. Id prob go back

Horrible visit. They cant cook or treat people with respect. No manager presence at all in the restaurant. Never go there for a mothers day because they dont care and they just want you rushed in and out. If my children ever spoke to or treated a mother the way they treated me today I dont even know how Id react Id be so angry. Just a horrible horrible mothers day visit. No stars for food or atmosphere if I could. The server was....okay, not bad but maybe new. Very nice though. Oh and parking sucks.

We occasionally dine-in or get take-out, like we did last evening for Mothers Day dinner. OMG, through the whole dinner, we kept exclaiming how wonderful it was. Everything perfect! Steaks were amazing, tender, cooked perfectly, perfect baked potato, not mushy like it had been on a steam table forever, great salads and other sides. Congrats to the kitchen team, the manager, and other workers who get this done.

Parking: I went one night and it was so packed that I had to park at a completely different store in the parking lot on the other side. Therefore I had to walk very far just to get in. But to be fair it was a Friday night so it s excepted to be packed. Food

Literally our go to date restaurant. The bread rolls and cinnamon butter are literally the best and I can fill up on those alone. They are dangerously good. Also the steak was perfect and they have the best chicken strips I have ever had in my life. The baked potatoes are my favorite. I also don t mind country music but the day we went the music was VERY loud I could barely hear my boyfriend when he talked.

Texas Roadhouse is somewhere my family and I go often, we have never had any complaints until tonight. Decided to go out with family to celebrate their birthday and the waitress Colleen we had was very rude. She had an attitude upon arrival and was rude when we asked questions because of her failure to make us aware of different things. Waving receipts in peoples face, walking away during a conversation because shes frustrated, and much more. Texas Roadhouse would do much better without her. Other than that, the food was great and the manager my family spoke to there is great as well.

Got a kids steak bite meal, Togo for my 8 year old for dinner, and to her disappointment when we opened it, it looked like someones unfinished leftovers. Imaging ordering takeout and still having to make her something to eat afterward.

Our family will always come back to Texas Roadhouse! Always very welcoming, excellent service and great food!

Came in for a birthday party with call ahead. Staff very unprofessional and unprofessional organized. We were not seated together as the whole party had different waiters and food did not come out at same time. Some to two managers no help and one especially was very rude. Like going to this place but most likely will not return in the bear future. Felt very unwanted....

The waitstaff are so nice, the food is good not perfect but good

Me and my girlfriend tried to go out for a nice date. We get there at rush hour on a friday night so the wait time was SUPPOSED to be 50 minutes. Okay that s fine, makes sense. After TWO HOURS of waiting and still no text, we finally asked about our table. We were told our text was supposed to be sent over an hour ago but we never received it. On top of this, we overheard a host tell her we had been waiting for two hours and she replied with I don t care . Not only did this lady make a mistake that had us waiting for hours, she was extremely rude and inconsiderate. P.S HER NAME IS MORAA!!!

Food is always great here , prices are very reasonable , I never leave hungry , get to see live line dancing too , plenty of Tvs if you need to see sports scores or watch a game or race

Food was good once we got it. Salads and main meal came out one minute apart. We were almost done with our meal when my daughter finally got her kids meal. The service was awful. My daughter had to watch us eat while she waited the entire time for hers. Then we had to wait for her to eat. It was unexceptable.

So disappointed the last 3 times I went I was not happy . I love this place one of my favorite places to eat . Lets start with the 1st day . Ordered my favorite meal asked for no mushrooms. Guess what mushrooms . They took it back I didnt eat .2nd time same meal but this time there was still a produce sticker on my green pepper and you guessed it a mushroom . Sent it back . The last time I went I ordered a burger med well . Came to my table well done ( which I can deal with ) but it was cold . Its pretty sad texas roadhouse in Dartmouth , Ma is like I said one of my favorite places . Idk if they hired new cooks or what the problem is .

Management was told a large party was coming but then when we went they said they could not seat us. We were even willing to not sit together.

I ve been sitting in a booth in the bar section for over an hour, it took 30+ mins to get our appetizer which was over cooked and burnt. We still haven t seen hide nor hair of our actual dinner order but thankfully we ve been able to watch all of the servers do a funny dance three times now. The booth we are in ( there s four of us) is so small I keep getting hit by bus boys and server trays as they pass. We have seen our server three times including our initial order which we had ready when we walked in. From the time they called our group we had four meals and an appetizer including beverages ordered in less than 5 minutes. This location is usually good seems like it s on the decline, absolutely awful. In this time we have seen no less than 7 other groups come in sit and eat before leaving. Update: food finally came out, as with the appetizer the chicken was over cooked, dry and had the texture of dry dog food. The ribs we ordered seemed like barbecue covered cardboard. A manager came over and offered replacement chicken we were told this would take maybe 5 minutes .well 15 does have a 5 in it I guess. To top off this great trip a server walking by sneezed into our booth right on top of us.

First time visiting here & it was amazing. I had a frozen strawberry margarita & the filet/ribs dinner which was delicious. The bread & butter was SO GOOD too. The music was country/catchy & my server was so nice Would definitely recommend.

Awful experience. 1.5 hours for a dinner for 4 people. They messed up 2 meals. When brought to the attention to the food runner , she was rude and made a nasty face. Manager was no help either! First and last time here!

One of my favorite places to go but as of late hasn t been hitting not sure if it s new cooks or not but usually I recommend the steaks always cooked how you want or to perfection. The salmon is a hit as well and a beautiful environment for the kids

Thought tonight would be a good night to take my toddler and 1 year old out to eat like a special occasion. Everything was fine. Wait time was fine. We went to our table and were seen relatively quickly at 5:46. We waited over an hour. Noone checked on our order. I saw two couples go by at the table next to me. I asked my waitress what was taking so long and she said shed check. She came back...apparently our order was non-existent. The manager comes over. Im furious because my 1 year old needs to go to bed in 15 minutes. She asked if I wanted it boxed and I said yes. They bring a bag over with our food and charge me 17 bucks. Fine. Lets get out of here. I bring it home. Our order is missing my 1 year olds order. Really!? We got back in the car at 7:05 and went home. Dont recommend if you have children and are a single parent.

Party of seven called ahead hours before and we waited for over 45 minutes to be sat. Inexcusable and an obvious display of what big corporations think of the people who actually spend money at their business. What s the point of a call ahead service if the restaurant doesn t honor it? It s simply to pacify the people with the illusion of convenience. They re too busy prioritizing to-go orders, and letting their in-person patrons just basically waste away at the tables, waiting for simple orders. Let s break that down - to-go orders obviously make more money for the restaurant. And the funniest thing is the waitresses and pink shirt managers don t get any profit kicked back on that. So they re working twice as hard for the same rate of pay as pre-COVID, and now every person who is physically in the restaurant (you know the ones that actually pay the waitresses their living wage through tips) are pissed due to awful service. Really just a dumb business model and obvious exploitation of the restaurant workers. You deserve better. If we want any change in what s going on in our economy, let s stop giving our money to these greedy businesses and go find a small business that deserves it.

Felt very rushed

Went with a Cactus blossom for an appetizer, the wife got the smothered chicken and I got the smothered tips with a loaded Mashed potatoes and a side of rice. Had the tips Cooked medium and they were cooked right. Didnt snap any photos of the food, but they have this cool photo of some Boston Legends inside.

The ribs were not well cooked.

My family comes to Texas Roadhouse for nearly every occasion and we love it. This was a HORRENDOUS experience though. Our visit took two hours total. I couldn t even bring my leftover appetizer home because it sat out too long during our visit. I guess our orders got switched with someone else s. They brought the wrong salad to the table TWICE. Finally got the correct one. Then they brought out ONE entree, which was incorrect, while my parents sat without entrees for an additional 25 minutes. People came in after us, got their order, and left before us. My dad got up to get our food to go after over an hour, and just as he did so, the food came out, so we decided to just eat. They would not comp anything on our bill despite waiting over an hour and a half for food, receiving minimal attention from our waiter, and us nearly leaving. Instead, they gave us a coupon for one free entree on our next visit, which expires in 90 days. We do not live in the area, and it is useless to us. I have worked in restaurants and have no issue waiting a little longer when it is busy, but there was no communication, and no apologies at all. And the disorganization of receiving multiple incorrect orders delivered to our table was abysmal. This sucks, as we love Texas Roadhouse and have never had an experience like this before.

We went for my sons 7th birthday. The food was fantastic. The music was BLASTING causing everyone to scream to hear each other. When you entered the front door you couldnt even walk when called.

Food good (esp the loaded mash potatoes) waitress was friendly

Havent been here in a long time but my wife chose Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner. Started with the rattlesnake bites and they were delicious. Crunchy but not too crisp with lots of cheese. The spicy jalapeno hits you after you swallow. Country fried chicken was incredibly moist and tender. The steak was cooked perfectly and so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. Service was outstanding and a Manager came to the table to make sure we were satisfied, which we were.

Very loud in there. Hard to talk across the table. Pork chips are so tender and flavorful. Other than that it was very good!!

Updated 10 December 2023 - Emma is extraordinary! My wifes drink was always refilled before we had to ask and Emma has a sparkling personality. I also have decided that yhe grilled bbq chicken is the best option for me on the menu. To be fair, I think I shouldnt have been comparing Texas Roadhouse to steak restaurants. Their name isnt Texas Steakhouse. And while I personally dont care for their steaks, there is no denying that they have some spectacular employees, and they also make some amazing chicken. Updated 25 March 2023 - Hannah was amazing! She took sich good care of us. Made sure our drinks were always filled, explained all the options. I will also admit the food was better this time. I still think the steaks are bland (the porterhouse tastes like plain meat and oil), but I understand they prefer to let the patrons season the steak after with steak sauce and I dont expect more. But the corn and mashed potatoes were very delicious. My wife loves the food and so does my daughter so Im giving 4 out of 5 stars for the food and of course 5 stars for service. Ashleigh is awesome! Ok, Texas Roadhouse is not my favorite steakhouse. We come occasionally because my wife loves it. But Ashleighs friendly customer service made an ok meal excellent!

Half rack of ribs with chicken was lacking in ribs. Got the very end and only 4 tiny ribs. Pedro our server was very attentive and friendly.
