5 star WOW for this restaurant from both hubby and me! We received a warm and kind welcome from the smiling hostess who greeted and seated us = 5/5. We had the pleasure of efficient and professional serving by the lovely Timo who was also very personable = 5/5. We enjoyed the 4-pc fresh summer rolls, the 4-pc spring rolls, cashew chicken with rice, and a yummy lemony cheesecake delight. Food = 5/5. The owner engaged in pleasant conversation with us. The combination of background music, ambiance, décor, glassware, dinnerware, excellent service, and delicious meal made for a nice date at the end of a beautiful day. The sun was shining...in the sky and in our hearts. Thank you for such a positive experience. Well definitely be telling our friends, and well be back!

Summer roll, a little disappointing lack of taste, pad thai with chicken when you have to look for the chicken there really isnt much I think I didnt have more than 15g of chicken so that we should eat at least 100g there was more tofu than chicken which in my opinion is not normal. My husband had a sizzling beef and it was good. He had wonton soup okay

I ve ordered takeout from them a few times, always getting the curry and it s delicious. One star reduced because I always have to make my own rice at home. The portion of rice they send is absolutely tiny.

The Thai food was amazing. Highly recommend the roasted chicken potato. And the spring rolls. Amazing restaurant and the waitress super friendly and nice. The Thai ice tea is also amazing to drink.

The restaurant is exquisitely decorated and the dining environment is clean and hygienic. The waitress Nicole was very nice and attentive, and patiently introduced us to the appropriate dishes. The boss is also very friendly. The ingredients are very fresh and taste great, worthy of its signature: WOK, very hot pot! ! !

Used to be a much nicer place to eat during covid, Im guessing inflation and other economic factors caused them to lower the quality of ingredients in order to keep prices the same. Still one of the better Asian restaurants in HRM but there arent a lot of good options sadly. Prices are very affordable which is one of the larger upsides.

Fair price and great thai food. Way to slow to order pickup from.

Have dined here at least six times over the last two years. After being given a gift certificate from a colleague for a Christmas I enjoyed it so much that I asked my family to have my next birthday supper there and have been a few times since (with others even requesting we go their now for their celebrations which speaks volumes about how good the place is overall). It is a cozy restaurant (be sure to make reservations if going at peak times as Im sure they fill up quickly) but there is enough space between tables and booths that it does not feel crowded. They set the atmosphere very well with dim lighting, candles and music played at a volume that is nice but not so loud that it is distracting or hinders conversation. The whole decor seems to match with a theme that comes office classy/intimate but still accessible (would be a good place to go on a date I imagine). The staff are always appropriately pleasant, attentive and accommodating (my family are the kind that always as for things like extra napkins, condiments and other small but multiple requests that I am sure staff eventually find insufferable but never let it show). The time between being seated, ordering and receiving ones meal has been very reasonable everytime. Same sentiment when it come ordering take out as well. The food presents at appropriate temperatures, seems to be made with fresh ingredients and is Always delicious. Portion sizes are pretty average (usually cant eat it all so do take away some leftovers). My family has never sent anything back while coming there and that is a rarity. Also have been told their gluten free options are quite good. Have usually started of with either calamari or wonton soup which have always been nice. The ginger beef is so good that I have had it a couple of times now. The prices are reasonable and you are getting quality for what you pay. Will continue to keep it in mind whenever a suggestion for a place to dine is brought up.

This place is amazing. The service was extremely fast and friendly, the atmosphere is elegant, the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Its nice that they have the variety of vegan options clearly labeled on the menu, even dessert! Vegetarian options: There are quite a few vegan options, including dessert.

Amazing food at great prices! I wished we lived closer to this restaurant because we d definitely be regulars. It was the best calamari I ve ever had. The cashew chicken and ginger beef were a big hit for my husband and 10 year old daughter. Recommend 100% will definitely go back when we go to Dartmouth

The decoration and atmosphere of the restaurant are very good, and the service is good. But the taste of the food needs to be greatly improved. Their sauce is very watery, and the taste of the food is very bland, which basically does not reflect the flavor that Thai food should have.

Tried take out for the first time from this place and was very impressed! Online ordering was easy and the food was fresh and very flavorful - basil noodles and green curry were the favs. Staff were so nice as well. Highly recommend!

Ive wanted to try here since I first noticed the place, but hadnt gotten around to it. A recent weekday, a coworker and I decided to try it for lunch. I was immediately impressed by the decor, without having noticed the elevated written right on the restaurant sign before. I was just expecting a very casual, more bare-bones atmosphere. Not overly huge in size, maybe seating for 30-40? But very tasteful, with very comfortable fabric seats, some natural light coming in. Friendly, quick service. I tried the Zhajang Noodle lunch special items and found the portion just right for lunch ). Enough to be satisfied, but not too full. As salty as would normally be expected of this dish, quite tasty. My friend compared the place to Chabaa, but nicer vibe. I definitely will be back.

Best restaurant Ive experienced in Halifax! We had our clubs holiday dinner here, and I cant say enough how top-notch our experience was. From the first email to book until we walked out the door, everything was seamless and perfect. I was amazed at how beautiful the decor was, but when I experienced the food and service, it was all the same excellent classy quality. Food: I cant recommend one dish because at our table, we had a large group that ordered a variety, and everyone said theirs was amazing. I can speak for the massaman curry and spring rolls! Service: Never an empty glass of water, friendly and professional. Food came out perfectly timed, and everyone had a smile. Atmosphere: Calm, relaxing vibe with warm lighting that glows on the panels between warm wood. Romantic, intimate, classy, relaxing, cozy but spacious. We also had Jasmine tea and Lemon Cheesecake. Everything was very tasty and well done. Food got to table in 10 minutes. Great place to go for lunch in the middle of your work day. Bill was $47 + tip. Pleasantly surprised! Spring rolls were great. Green Cream Soda was delicious! The Thai Basil Chicken was very flavourful and had great spice to it. I also liked that it was served with a fried egg. Great value for your money. Service was good and food was presented well.

Came here with my family in a Saturday night for dinner. The atmosphere was quiet and serene. Food costs a bit but worth the taste.

We had fresh spring rolls mango salad to start and then had Shanghai Noodles and Panang Curry with Prawns. The food was so amazing we just had to try their desserts and were not disappointed!!! 5 stars for delicious food, cleanliness of restaurant, decor & ambience, short wait time for take out orders. I am thrilled they have a vegan menu option. The massuman curry is absolutely delicious. I get two meals out of the portion size. I look forward to trying more. My only complaint: I wish they made their spring rolls in house. Correct me if I am wrong. However, if they are made fresh, they definitely taste like frozen spring rolls. The sauce that goes with them is good however.

Folks, you absolutely MUST try this restaurant if you havent already! It is our new go-to, neighborhood gem and we simply love their food! Whether we eat in or pick up for takeout, we have never been disappointed. The restaurant is not large but has great ambience and the staff are ALL amazing. The Black Bean Beef and the Shanghai Noodles are our faves, but have tried several others and enjoyed them all.

Its a lovely restaurant with very tasty food and an attention to detail with their interior design. The waitresses were busy but friendly and accommodating.

Wow! That is almost the limit of all I need to say about Wok Your Way. The restaurant came highly recommended and they were very accurate in their description. I look forward to returning and probably trying most itsms on their menu. The Massaman Beef Curry was delicious, and the Thai Iced Tea was simply incredible. Everytjing had loads of flavour and texture without being overspiced or overpriced.

Had a fantastic few meals here: headed here without knowing anything about it, and expected it to be Wok Box-esque, and we were so wrong and so pleased. The menu was varied but not too fusion that it s roots weren t apparent. We ended up ordering 3 dishes each, just to be able to try more things (& have tasty work lunches through the week!). All were fantastic. Everything was sizzling hot, but the spice level was surprisingly mild. Rachael served us and was a delight, very happy to give suggestions and have a laugh with us. Will be back!

I never leave reviews but felt it was necessary this time! I ordered via Door Dash and was extremely pleased with my food. I ordered Zhajiang Noodles but asked for it to be made vegetarian, some restaurants ignore the special instructions made in the app, but to my surprise - not only was it vegetarian, they added tofu as well! I would have given the dish to my husband if there was meat but I was so glad I got to enjoy it. It was the most authentic Thai food I ve had in such a long time. I also ordered mixed vegetables (such a simple dish, that they made just delicious!), Tom Yum soup & fresh rolls and felt great and full after eating. Will be ordering many more times! Happy to have found this restaurant!! Love the vegan options and accommodations, it is so much appreciated.

The food, atmosphere, and service at Wok Your Way was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful decor and calm, relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing and recommended us the best food. The chicken wings were excellent and we loved the Thai basil chicken, and make sure you safe room for profiteroles for dessert. By far the best place we ate at on our trip, and we will definitely be back!

Me and my boyfriend both ate here today. Always looking for new vegan spots in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. This place is now one of our favourites and we will definitely be regulars. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in, the lady who served us was very sweet and quick with refilling our water and getting anything we needed. The food was simply amazing. If you are vegan you MUST go here and try their sweet and sour tofu. We also had the spring rolls and the vegan sweet corn soup. Everything was seriously delicious, served hot, served quickly, great presentation, 10/10. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, perfect for a date night- very intimate with beautiful furniture tables, countertops, etc. Can t talk this place up enough. It seems to be a hidden gem but I m happy its location is out of the way, otherwise you d never get a reservation!

Tried this restaurant when visiting Halifax and we were not disappointed, all the positive reviews check out. The Pad Thai was delicious, had almost no visible oiliness and filled with flavor. The Thai basil chicken was delicious and had good spice. The serving sizes are quite generous. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Absolutely Phenomenal! We found this gem of a restaurant via a random online recommendation and it did not disappoint! When you first arrive at the bland outlet mall exterior next to a grocery store, youre not expecting much. But once inside, the interior is both stylish and inviting. The epitome of casual elegance. Every detail is well thought out and nothing is skimped on - right down to beautiful cutlery! (who thinks twice about cutlery?? Wok Your Way does!) The food choices are expansive but not overwhelming. Im vegan but the rest of my party was not and there were plenty of choices to satisfy everyones palate. All of us had both an appetizer and entree and the food was fantastic! There was no greasiness or MSG saltiness. All the food tasted fresh and delicious. Every dish was a home run. Every. Single. Dish. Service was also amazing! Super friendly staff. Our only note was that the kitchen was a tad slow. But considering the amazing food that came out, the small extra wait was worth it! And to top it all off the prices are super reasonable! The two of us that shared a bill, we each had 2x alcoholic drinks, an appetizer and an entree and our combined bill was $82! After tax! Like wow. A truly wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Wok Your Way has just become our new favourite restaurant!!

I met the owner when the store was first opening (during the pandemic) the owner is super accommodating and very friendly. This place is absolutely beautiful interior. Would make a great date outing for when things get back to normal. The prices are reasonable. They have Vegan options and the food is reallt delicious. Cannot wait to order again.

We stopped in today for lunch on the recommendation from a friend. We absolutely will be back! We had a delightful meal, food was fresh, well prepared, quick and fairly priced. While we all chose the same ginger beef as our main from the lunch menu along with an order dumplings and for dessert, profiteroles, we all were very pleased with our meals. A great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We would highly recommend this restaurant to add to your list of great places to eat in Dartmouth. See you again soon perhaps for supper next time!

Location is good, although it is not in tourism area or close to the ocean, but when we wet there is was nice. Decorations and layout, the space is not large space and not small. Decorations was perfect, tables and chairs were cozy. And elegant. Service was excellent, the lady takes the order and well knowledge about the incidents of each plate. Timing for preparation, it was within expectations. The plates looks good, rich and tastes delicious. We ate and we were full. Plenty of food Prices was reasonable and affordable. Cleanliness, the place in our experience was cleaned within expectations. Conclusion, I liked it and I will come back for sure.

Food quality and portions are excellent. The dining room has some of the most comfortable restaurant furniture Ive ever sat in! Food aside there is a great selection of local drinks too.

Everything on the menu is great and the staff are very friendly. This has become our go-to Asian takeout spot, and with a wide variety of Thai and Chinese style dishes it is a one-stop-shop that has something for everyone. Stays open a bit later than other spots in Dartmouth also. Wish we had discovered it sooner!

What an amazing addition to the Penhorn area and Dartmouth in general! We got take out (spicy chicken, pad thai and panang curry) - omg! legit thai flavours, very fresh. I cant get over how authentic the panang was. Generous portions too. The interior was beautiful- I definitely want to sit-in at some point when we are allowed. Looking forward to the next visit/take-away! thank you!

I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and my experience has been extremely positive each time. I have introduced my friends to WYW and they all love it as well. The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful and the restaurant itself is very well maintained. The decor is modern and very comfortable. The bathrooms are immaculate. I have switched over to takeout during these Covid days. Try the Cashew Chicken, its the best I have ever had. Keep doing what you are doing, I love Wok Your Way.

I dont review places a lot but Wok Your Way has ALWAYS been consistently delicious and the staff are all great. This restaurant is a must-eat and they deliver which is great! Do yourself a favour and get the Thai Basil Chili Chicken, you wont regret it.

First time being there. It is a beautiful establishment with nice ambience. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, best I have had in a while. Prices are excellent and well within anyones budget. Just one recommendation....make a reservation. Just about every table had reserved on it.

For those who know real traditional Chinese cuisine from different regions, it is a pure delight of fusion cuisine where I find my traditional dishes and flavors with a completely delicious local touch. Well done to the whole team

Delicious food, spring rolls were to die for, wish there was more peanut sauce provided with the satay chicken. Mixed vegetables were crunchy, and the coup was delicious

We received probably the best service ever tonight from our waitress Sharon! Our food was delicious as always with big portions (pad thai and sweet and sour tofu) - compliments to the chef! The mango/coconut milk sticky rice dessert is incredibly sweet and delicious. We will definitely be coming back because our waitress was very prompt with ensuring that our waters were filled, she was polite and provided us with a vegan menu, and was very kind and made the dining experience feel elegant! We also watched as she greeted others at the door, answered the phones and took care of multi-tasking, but ensured that we felt like VIPs. 10/10

The atmosphere and customer services are outstanding! Satay chicken and chicken wings are my favorite appetisers. Id also recommond spicy basil noodle and sweet and sour tofu. The homemade cheese cake is really good. Definitely like to try different dishes every week.

One of the best Thai food I ve ever had. Smooth music and elegant decor. The top Thai food experience you probably could find in greater Halifax area. The vibe is great for a date! The food; the soup, mains and the dessert are dedicated and authentic! They also offer Thai drinks, we enjoyed the experience and loved the food, will definitely come back again!

First time dining here today for our anniversary. Arrived to an empty restaurant and very hesitantly decided to go in. Ever so happy we did. The food and service were simply amazing and for a very modest price.

Big improvements in service over the past few months. Food is even better now than originally reviewed. Our fav place for Fusion this side of Halifax. (Next is my original review) Great food, best we have had in this part of town and rivals anything we have had in Halifax. Very well kept, clean and service is very good although some things need attention like clearing dishes away but thats nitpicking. We loved the Cashew chicken, the currys were fab and so were many of the other dishes. The service staff is friendly and very accommodating (we had a large group). This is now our Go-To spot for in house and take out Asian Food.

Loved our experience here. Atmosphere was very nice, it s a beautiful restaurant, service was wonderful, and the food was outstanding. Our entire dining party was vegan, and they were able to veganize everything we ordered. Just an overall great experience. We ll most certainly be back.

My birthday dinner I know people say you need to try thisrestaurant, but seriously you NEED to try this restaurant! So beautiful inside with piano music playing and the food is just awesome! The only thing was I thought they may have offered a birthday dessert...

Home to Nova Scotia for a bit and was looking for some last minute takeout for supper last night. Found this little place in Dartmouth and tried it on a whim. Service was lovely and efficient and the food is great! I was surprised when they handed me my bag - it was so heavy j thought Id gotten somebody elses order, but nope, it was mine! Had the chicken pad Thai and cashew chicken and was pleasantly surprised to recieve a small order if rice too! Will definitely be back before I leave in January
