The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service was spectacular, my waiter provided excellent service and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here.

The food was so bad my wife couldn t chew the dry chicken. My birria tasted nasty and to top it all off they gave us flour tortillas and told us they were corn!?!? American Mexican food Not Mexican at all Taco Bell is better

I was there on the weekend, the food was good, the place is nice, the service was good, what I didnt think was that the waitresses and waiters play in a way that leaves a lot to be desired (one waitress had her legs on top of another classmate, it is a compromising position) and well, children go there, and especially at that lunch time they must be more exemplary

My husband and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant close to us at Sawgrass with good queso and this place hit the spot! Everything tasted great and the place was decorated like day of the dead (very festive). We will be coming back! We had the quest, strawberry margarita, peach margarita. Chicken quesodilla, and 2 combo with beef Enchilada and hard taco. We will probably order the same exact thing next time bc it was all awesome! Our waitress Stephanie was also amazing!

I really didnt like the service. We arrived around 3 pm. A group of 40 people from Orlando attended us but the service was not good...especially with a lady. That when we asked to sing karaoke he only let us sing 1 song and then he turned off the karaoke he told us that it was at 7:00 pm I understand that but also that you understand we were 40 people it started and when we arrived there were only three tables occupied and when we left there were 2 tables My question is, what was wrong with letting the group sing? Lack of common sense to Mrs. REGRETTABLE I AM NOT RETURNING Now the same group returned in December to that same area...but we will not repair to eat there

What a disgrace to Mexico! The only reason someone can have given this place a good rating is because they have never been to Mexico or to an authentic Mexican restaurant. Both food and drinks were disgusting. Service was terrible. NEVER AGAIN!

And let me tell you about the piña colada that is made from her very own special mixture made in house!!! our little fam. frequent this restaurant at least twice a week because we are addicted to their tacos, alo Americanos.. With the crunchy shells. So addictive I guess the cat is out of the bag because now the place is always busy and it s because the food, atmosphere , staff & Dj entertainment is amazing . The atmosphere is nice. Waitresses are great. I picked my order up at 11:39 pm last night. The order was wrong. I went back the following day, and informed a Waitress about my order. The Waitress offered to remake my order, but I wanted a refund. I spoke with owner and she said I can order anything to make sure I was satisfied. I requested the refund. I received the refund. My son recommended the restaurant me. I am a satisfied customer. Great service!

This is a warm and beautiful place, the food is very good, the waiters are always attentive to the customers, the karaoke is great. Its a shame that the first day I visited the place I went with several friends and one of them did not behave well, he got drunk and caused serious discomfort and for this reason the administration behaved extremely badly with the rest of the group, which I thought was inappropriate. very bad taste, since in this type of business they must be used to handling this type of situation in a professional manner. We feel mistreated by the Business administrator.

Today we went to order food and we are disappointed. We expected more for the value of the food. The food was totally plain without flavor, the soups were cold.

I went with my family on Saturday night. When you arrive they spoil you with a hors doeuvre courtesy of the house, that was a good initial impression. We had a very good meal, we ordered quesadilla and birria tacos. Also fresh Jamaica flower water. Abundant and quality food, taking care of the details. The food was excellent as well as the service and the unbeatable atmosphere, very picturesque in the Mexican style. The night with karaoke was very happy. I recommend them 100%

La esquina de las ratas!! Will never go back again. Got charged for a non-cash fee and when we asked why, none of the servers knew why we got charged a non-cash adjustment. We had a few drinks and our bill was $280 yet when we got there it was dead but we brought good vibes and had the bar jumping with good music. Then we get a suspicious charge on our bill and nobody could answer as to why we received this charge. Bad customer service overall if an establishment is going to charge a fee they should be able to explain as to why. I do not recommend going to this spot they are shady and as a local I expect better

Sad to even take the time to write this. Two things: 1: the employees were pushing out a rat from the kitchen while we were there and it seemed like it was not the first time. Barf! 2: they have an undisclosed merchant fee (NON CASH ADJUSTMENT FEE) that they placed our bill AFTER we gave them our credit card. In other words we agreed to pay high food and liquor prices as they disclose on their menu but we did not agree to pay this establishments merchant fees. It was not disclosed on the menu or anywhere near where we sat to order our drinks and food. This restaurant did not have my authorization to charge my credit card with the fee additional non warranted fee. They did not provide a solution when we realized this fee, in order for us to avoid paying this predatory fee. They could have given me the option to pay $280 cash. I could have gone home minutes from their restaurant. The staff also did not have proper training nor management present to handle our inquiry about this fee. They were hostile in their response to our questions, they also mentioned calling the cops if we didn t pay BUT they had already charged our card. Every establishment has their cost for doing business. It is wrong to have rats in a food establishment and it is wrong to charge this fee to your customers. For these two things I will not return. Food is not any good and it s not worth the happy ambiance which is created by happy customers anyways. The response from the seller days later shows the same hostility that was given to my husband and I. My husband only asked a question about the charge to the waiter and then he asked for the help of another person that said that she was helping that waiter cause there was not a manager. We didn t agree to that fee, especially since it was placed after our credit card was ran. The owners comment about us not paying our tab is fabricated. I would not write a review if I owed you money. Silly! Most important here is your legal $9 fee you charged is without authority it s the rat. And you know that it s true. Don t be upset with as I had to be upset at your restaurant. I just won t return and you ll continue your business. The END.

Maybe my experience wouldve been different if I went into the location but I ordered takeout. I ordered two chicken quesadillas with beans and rice and a side of chips and queso. The queso dip was good. Chips were slightly stale My quesadillas on the other hand.... Ive had better from sports bars. Chewy chicken and burnt tortillas. Nothings but cheese and chicken for 17 dollars. No peppers or anything. Might as well have been a kids memu quesadilla from tgifridays. I also got only a spoonfuls of beans. Literally one large table spoonful And the rice was bland as. I dont ever leave reviews but I just had to on this as it went into the trash and I ordered a pizza for my family instead

My family and I where there last Sunday, and ALL of us got sick with diarrhea. The food taste was good but obviously something there got all of us sick. This post is just a heads up to management to be more careful handling the food. Well never go back there.

I loved the place, the atmosphere on Fridays is too good... the karaoke and the DJ! They are the best But not everything can be good.. UNFORTUNATELY... the server who served us was very rude, since she had already finished her shift and had to leave, she forced me to close my account. And I still didnt want to leave, plus it wasnt even close to the stores closing time for her to force me to close my account. ** It bothers me a lot because it is NOT my problem that she has to leave, you as a local should have a mechanism for this type of situation. Example (you sign a receipt and the other person whose turn it is follows at the end and shares the tips of the table) I have no idea, but it is not the way to do things!

We came for the first time to La Esquina to celebrate my daughters graduation day. We ordered several dishes. I bought a plate that had steak and shrimp, rice and beans. The dish was quite good. My daughter had birria tacos, ceviche, hard tacos and she also had good reviews. My wife ordered tortilla soup, but she didnt like it much. The soup was very thick and lacked flavor...overall everything tasted good. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were all okay. The place has 3 or 4 TVs around the dining room which makes for a good experience. They also have an open bar with many, many alcoholic drinks... its a good Mexican place to visit.

I was there Tuesday to watch the soccer game. The atmosphere was excellent. Danny was doing excellent job with his music. It was my first time at LA ESQUINA but will definitely be back.

Did not care for this place at all. Restaurant smelled musty and actually seemed kind of dirty. Saw multiple bugs when I was eating here which makes me suspect the kitchen is really unclean. The chips and salsa were OK but the rest of the food grossed me out. The chicken tasted like it was frozen and reheated and the beef had a weird foul taste to it. The only thing I really liked about the place was the aesthetic with the Day of the Dead-style theming on the walls and menu. There wasnt live entertainment when we went so that may have enhanced the experience, but the food was just awful. Im not really sure what I ordered because the staff didnt speak English, but the chicken nachos were gross and the combo plate I got just tasted all the same with really bland and weird tasting beef.

La Esquina with the typical stereotype of what a Mexican place should to look like, cute decor I would say how ever the food isn t real Mexican and it s not that tasty. Not many choices for vegetarians and fails to justify the price. The music is way too loud. I don t suggest going here and I won t go back. Not recommended for those seeking true Mexican cuisine or a comfortable atmosphere.

I ordered the flautas through uber eats and they were nothing like actual flautas which are suppsed to be crispy long thin and made of corn tortillas. These looked like egg rolls made from flour dough with chicken inside. Too bad bc i really wanted to like it. The food was made fast though.

From the first sip of their margaritas, I knew we were somewhere special. The Mexican food was perfectly prepared, with flavors that transport you straight to Mexico. Without a doubt, this place has become my favorite destination to enjoy the best Mexican food and the most delicious margaritas. Highly recommended!

I recently tried out a taco joint, La Esquina Restaurant, and holy smokes, they were insane! So authentic and delicious, I thought I was in Mexico for a moment. And theres this staff member there, Lissette. Shes so sweet and gives the best service.

Nice atmosphere, I liked the tongue tacos and the nachos...there is also Karaoke and very good service. The margaritas are very delicious too.

Great place great service and damn good food

I love this Mexican spot. Burrito Al carbon is my go to here. Music is good, atmosphere is good and food and drinks are great. Place is nice and clean.
