Everything I’ve tried from this place is delicious, fresh and super addictive! Their chicken is a must try. Truly the best Greek restaurant/BYOW in the south shore by far!
We had dinner at Cava Grecque, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, with fresh and flavorful dishes. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We especially loved the variety on the menu and the generous portions. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy Greek cuisine. Highly recommend!

Genuinely the best service I have ever experienced. The staff and the food were all such a pleasant experience. Not only that but the aroma of the place was beyond amazing. I’ve had a lot of Greek food in my life. And this place is definitely the best one I’ve ever been to. Tasted PERFECT!!! Not only will I go there again but I will go there often. I highly recommend.
The food? Excellent and i have never tasted the dishes they serve made with so much passion and love. 5/5 Service? Outstanding and nice especially comprehensive with our orders. 4.7/5 Atmosphere? We were there with family last Saturday June 18 at 7-9 pm in Delson. Two tables next to us were allowed to be too noisy! They were yelling as if they owned the place or were alone outdoors. We couldn’t speak among us. I ordered $40 langostinos dish that tasted good but were too small! Maybe only 4-5 centimetres long each one.
This review is grouped based. Wasn't all negative but I wouldn't go there again. Terms of food- They start by giving every table bread, it was cold dry and dull. Not the end of the world. Moving on to their "cream" which is a chunky lookalike soup not creamed, regrets don't be fooled. Salad Cesar :) cut your damn salad please. Cesar sauce seemed diluted, missing condiments but to the taste it wasn't necessarily bad. As for the main plate chicken permasen was probably the only truly decent thing. Last but not least The Forêt noir, they are lying to you it's just a plain chocolate cake with a sparkle of chocolate and white glossing. To those who might think overall 2stars is a bit mean if the main course was acceptable. Being acceptable doesn't clear every other rating factor. SERVICE- was terrible and I feel bad cause I know it's hard to be a waiter but the restaurant wasn't super crowded there was more than one waiter and an assistant. Yet, Water glasses were empty for aprox80% of the time. We spent more than 2 and ahalf hours there because of slow service. Never got my ketchup, literally 1hour of that time was us waiting for the cake we ordered, she brought the receipt to pay even before serving it to us and then the waiter and assistant blamed each other for never serving it. Summary- Lack of comfort, Poor service, overall taste disappointed, not worth the price.
AMAZING greek spot with delicious traditional meals. It’s a bring your own wine place and the portions are very generous!! We ordered the Superbowl special this Sunday but we have been there a couple of times and it’s always been great! They have a lot of options from fish to meat to chicken. Every plate comes with salad and soup, so you definitely eat a LOT!! Can’t wait for COVID to be over, because a Sunday night in this restaurant has an amazing vibe. The owner and his family are very lovely ❤️

Hidden gem of a restaurant for a really reasonable meal. The dressing on the house salad is a little bland, but the Coquille St. Jacques was perfect, the lentil soup exceptionally flavourful, fresh hot slightly crisp potatoes, fresh bread, and good coffee.

This is the ONE. I ve been to plenty of restaurants in my lifetime but none comes close to La Cava Grecque in terms of food and service. The staff were kind and professional, and the place had a delightful ambiance. Highly recommend it!

Lots of people but it was a rough Saturday evening but it was really good and the servers helped each other.
The only negative point: the bussboy should come and refill our water glasses more often. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

We often go to Cava Grecque because my parents-in-law like it and so does my daughter. I have always had problems with what I ask. The Greek salad is just Caesar with 2 slices of tomatoes. Last time I asked for chops, they were not edible. On the other hand, everything that is brine, shrimp and seafood is good. Still, the soups are always too salty. The reception is good. The servers are very active and work hard with the shortage of staff. There is little to cater for all customers. The restaurant is always full; you sometimes have to wait to get a table, especially for a group. The decoration and atmosphere is beautiful. Parking: Plenty of parking

Definitely, we did not have a good experience. Very deceiving, given the description of the website. The tzatziki was really good, but the other plates were too salty and tasted like seafood from frozen food boxes.

Honestly, I dont recommend this restaurant in any way. The prices for the plates are really excessive for the quantity and quality on your plate. The dry chicken skewer, the overcooked butterfly shrimp and the garlic butter disgusting. Honestly very disappointed. Desserts already made from another store.

Always received with a warm welcome, the place is family, and for my part, the price is very good with good food, to start, we give you good bread, then if you want you take a starter for example from snail gratin, then comes the very good lentil soup, then the chefs salad or the romaine salad, and of course, to finish your main plate which I suggest, the filet mignon with shrimp, rice and potato with mushroom sauce and butter garlic! Bon appetit :)))

We waited 2:30 to get our meal. The salad was bathed in vinaigrette and almost nothing on our main course plate. I prefer to go elsewhere. (fall 2021). The waiter seemed at the end of his tether and I understand that. Too many people, not enough staff and on top of that there were orders to bring. At a given moment make a choice and serve the people who are traveling.

Almost two hours to have a meal, which has the look of an economical meal and not a meal at 35, 40 dollars but more than 15, 20 dollars, when we have something asked the waiter (man in the quarantine gray hair) notices us and raises his head and continues on his way, and of course comments aloud on the tips obtained because it does not suit him, so all that to say your best go old canal or casagreek in brossard than put money in the fire like that

A very warm and friendly restaurant! I go there with my mom and we love everything about it ! Their food is amazing and their service is excellent! Their menu consists a variety of dishes; steaks, filet mignon, chicken parmesan, calmars and Greek meals. Additionally, you get a salad, soup and a desert with the main meal for a very low price. Pouding chômeur is my personal favorite along with my mom. Also, it is bring your own wine! I would highly recommend this restaurant! I promise you, you will want to go again!

Although the gentleman serving the food was alone, we had very good service. Tour was delicious and especially the butterfly shrimp. Sufficient mass quantities. When you eat a soup, a salad, a main plate with 6 large shrimps, potatoes, rice, bread, dessert, I dont think youll starve afterwards.

Always a pleasure to eat there with family In my photo filet mignon skewers with pepper sauce (because the sauce that normally comes with it is a mushroom sauce and I dont like mushrooms.) Accompanied by a salad from the chef of Greek potatoes and rice. As a starter I had the succulent lentil soup and for a lighter dessert... A rice pudding. My partner took the scallop which he really liked and my mother-in-law the same thing as me but with mushroom sauce. Their celery soup and it looks like it was really good. The prices are pretty much the same as any other restaurant of this type. Plenty of parking.

The night started off positive. Nice atmosphere, and friendly service. The soup was good as was the mushrooms gratinee.. thats where it ended. The ceasar salad didnt at all taste like it. One bite and it was just awful. They forgot our order for main course, ( only because in asked if they forgot us. so an hour later I get what was supposed to be filet mignon,smothered with their horribly salthy sauce. I had to send it back and ask without the sauce. No eay was was it filet mignon. Terrible. Im a frequent customer of vieux canal, but based on reviews I wanted to try a new one. Big mistake. Never again..
The portions of the plates have decreased, I understand the lack of staff, but 30 minutes before having the menu, I found it a bit long. For the rest it was excellent. THANKS

La Cava Grecque, here is a restaurant where you can be spoiled and you can spend time having the joy of tasting well-made dishes and appreciating the altitude of the server, a true Greek full of humor, understanding and patience. The dishes are delicious and the portions quite generous. We will definitely come back here to taste other dishes, because the menu is very generous.
