Food was prepared well but they forgot items and for some reason McDonald's refuses to give napkins anymore. You'd think if I order food for 2 adults and a kid you'd give us a couple napkins, especially now that we pay a billion dollar corporation 25cents for a paper bag.
I'm a huge fan of the Grinch so when I heard the Grinch meal was here, I hurried down to get an adult happy meal and a child happy meal. Was I ever disappointed with my Grinch meal! First of, the cashier didn't even know I could choose a Big Mac instead of chicken mcnuggets. She had to turn around to see the big screen advertising the Grinch meal. Ok, staff wasn't aware of the new promo. When I got the food, it wasn't in a Grinch box. I was disappointed. The Grinch meal wasn't cheap to begin with. At $16.89, you get a Big Mac combo meal with a pair of socks. When you add it up, its not a deal. You're paying for every item in it including the socks. You can't buy the socks directly but you can buy the toy only that comes with the child's happy meal. I noted they had a stack of Grinch boxes behind the cashier and yet they did not package my Grinch meal in it. Why tempt me and charge premium? The child happy meal was in a regular box with no Grinch advertising at all. Another disappointment. We grabbed our meals and found the napkin dispenser was empty. First time, first McDonald's that supplies were depleted. When we got home, we noticed we had the shaker bag and dill pickle package but no fries. Blasting mad, I jumped back into my car, drove back to McDonald's and complained. There was no apology. The cashier grabbed some fries and gave it to me. I told her that the rest of my food was now cold and all she did was shrugged her shoulders. Poor service. Poor attitude. Not returning here, Grinch or not.
I have never encountered such a rude manager. After repeatedly confirming whether there was sauce for the McNuggets when picking up my order, I received a definite “yes.” However, when I got home and opened the bag, there wasn’t a single packet of sauce inside. Even the toy for the kids’ meal was missing. When I went back to ask for the sauce, they told me it was a minor issue and said, “Just take the sauce and leave.” They even blamed me, saying, “It’s your own responsibility. Why didn’t you check before leaving?” Furthermore, they claimed that only those who pay their salaries are entitled to reason with them. The service attitude was the worst I’ve ever seen. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. On many previous occasions, the number of McNuggets in my order was less than it should have been.
Simrin (somehow a manager) & her staff were completely rude & disrespectful rushing us to take our order saying we were wasting their time. Also none of the kitchen staff were using gloves or using any sanitary precautions. Never leave negative reviews but just had to share this horrible experience.
I have been going to this McDonald's about three times a week and the quality of customer service I received today was atrocious. I left my job for my lunch break and when I ordered my usual meal I realized that my wallet was left in the school where I work. After doing the lineup (because I couldn't back up anymore I told the customer service representative that I had found some cash and asked if she could help me, she agreed but then her manager told me that there was a lineup and I needed to go lineup again. At this point the manager made it obvious that she did not care about me as a customer and that other people were more important than me. I offered to move out of the to the special drive through area but she did not care. I cannot count how many times I have waited on orders that were not ready but today that I needed great customer service; I received a horrible experience that has made me rethink my choice of restaurant
One of the worst McDonald’s experiences I’ve had. The wraps were very poorly filled, and the service (takeout) was extremely bad. We ordered takeout, but they served everything on a tray. When we asked for a bag, they made us pay extra (not much, but still). The staff member was unpleasant. Paying $35 for 3 people to eat poorly and get bad service? Definitely the last time.
I was excited, especially since the staff were polite and welcoming. However, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse. As I was waiting for my order, I noticed something absolutely unacceptable in the kitchen. The sandwich makers and other kitchen staff were preparing food, including burgers, with their bare hands. Not only that, but they were also touching various other surfaces and items in between handling the food. It was both unhygienic and disturbing to watch. I couldn’t eat my meal comfortably after seeing that and ended up throwing it away. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the lack of proper food safety practices here. I won’t be returning, and I would advise others to think twice before dining here unless they address these serious hygiene concerns.
No wonder this McDonald’s is so empty. I had 3 issues with my visit. 1. It started with no receipt paper on self-order computer. 2. Employees are so busy making drink lid and straw to make a drum kit at the cashier and not helping me. Then he forgot to serve my food and had it sit 5 min until manager realized that I have been standing for a while. 3. When I ate, my chicken wrap had minimal lettuce and also over cooked chicken.(see the pictures) Manager had to keep telling employees what to do.😭😭😭 She needs to fire these lazy ones that she needs to tell what to do. Definitely I am not coming back to this location.
This place has really gone downhill, half a bag of cold fries and a half cooked fish, never again.

I recently visited the McDonalds and had a disappointing experience. I would never visit there again. The staff, particularly the manager, was quite rude when I and my friends arrived to order just one burger. The comment made about us coming in for such a small order felt dismissive and unprofessional. I believe that every customer should be treated with respect, regardless of the size of the order. They Should have some respect for their customers.

The staff was very careless. They gave me three muffins without bacon. When I returned to them, they said they would give me bacon on the side. However, when they handed it to me, it turned out to be the portion for only one muffin. I asked, Are you sure this is for three muffins? They said yes. I asked the manager again, and the manager agreed that this was not right and gave me more bacon. This was a very bad experience. The staff didnt care even when I approached them and pointed out their mistake. It seemed like they just didnt care.
Clean place but quality of food has gone done. Quarter pounder was missing flavors, hardly nothing inside other then 2 pickles and 4 small pieces of onion and that buried any sauce.

Recently for some reason, Ive grown more fonder for McDonalds. Perhaps Im tired of paying $10 for a burger. Or that I really like their fries. This McDs was clean. Used the kiosk to order my food and picked it up at the counter. Not very friendly servers but I got my food fresh and hot. Guess its automated so they have to be less human? The burger is delicious and the fries is always great.
This McDonalds tries to cheat its ordering system by marking orders completed before they have actually been served in order to make it look the service is instant. Today I sat and waited in the drive thru parking for 30 minutes because they forgot my order. Had to go inside and should have just asked for the refund, but i was hungry. The two burgers were cold, fries (which i assume they were making fresh at the time i ordered) were soggy. I always say this is going to be my last time at mcdonalds, and this probably seals it. Employees seemed like they could have cared less too.
The manager was yelling at their employees for what to do. They charge 25 cents for water which is stupid. The washrooms are dirty. Why would anyone even come here to get food when the water costs 25 cents and the food is not made properly?? Take your business somewhere else!!!! I m sure there are better McDonald s around but this isn t where to go!!!

This is the worst McDonald s drive thru there is, they just sloppily throw everything together which would be moderately acceptable if it was quick service; but no, ask you to pull forward and wait for 20 minutes. To top it just found a hair in my burger

I took my son here for a quick breakfast and although the staff were great and very helpful the kids play area was dirty. The floors were covered in food scraps and as my son took his shoes off to play in the kids playground I was not happy to see the floors. They were disgusting. Not a great experience as a father to see your sons feet and hands would be touching that floor. The tables were not that clean either. I had to find a table that had the least amount of crumbs on it and wipe it myself. Although the food was good and staff were very friendly and helpful the play area rubbed me the wrong way. I am an advid reviewer whether it be good or bad with almost 60K in views and this was definitely getting a review from me. I was not happy to see how this restaurant being in tsawwassen a higher end neighborhood was this dirty.

When ordering, I saw the kitchen staff picking up hamburger cheese slices... None of them wore gloves while waiting for the food. It is very unhygienic to handle it directly with their hands. I wonder if this is also the case in other branches?

So my sis in-law, she orders from here for two young lads a young lady, her husband(my oldest bro) and sometimes me, well almost everytime, she has had to call management and explain that all the orders are wrong, weve taken some of the burgers apart and side dishes and had to go back because there is no pickles when there should be, or theres extra cheese when we didnt order it...or the fries are stale not salty, I resist the urge to complain as much as possible I dont like confrontation, however this is a business, and they are in the hospitality industry, not the motel or hospital or car rental. It aint easy working in a kitchen, however nothing worth doing in life is easy. Every valuable endeavor is this vertical struggle with pain staking, nerve wrenching, muscle tearing, sweat and blood letting journey to get to the goal and achieve the results we so desire. Failure is inevitable, you may not have success without failure, deal with it like he champs do, get up get it together and get on with it. Permitting absolutely no 1 to push you down or around. Discipline: doing things you dont want to do, like rise up to see deep blue skies above to get your hungover bottom to the job you may not like, beginning to not like or have hated for years but still man/woman up and get in gear dress up show up and do your best. . . even at your worst there is a form of deep respect which runs like a river flow combined with dignity, honor and loyalty when a wise individual observes folks who are struggling yet not giving up, Diamonds are formed under extreme pressure.
i go here before work because it s only place open in Tsawwassen after 10-11pm- it s always slow service cuz understaffed after midnight and the coffee is always cold they give u the pot that s been sitting there for so long ..sometimes i can t ask for fresh pot because it takes to long as i m starting work at 12:45am and can t wait for it always hoping it will be a fresh pot before i get there and every time disappointed but when ur in a rush i guess beggars can t be choosers

Generally speaking, I dont go to McDonalds for its tasty burgers. Theyre not. They are edible of course but theyre just nothing out of the ordinary. When I do hit one of these establishments its usually for their milkshakes which are only good due to volume for the price. But even with the milkshakes, nothing really to write home about; theyre just a good value.

I m disappointed they removed the garbage can from the drive thru. It s inconvenient to have to make special trips to get rid of my McDonald s trash from the previous visit. Also this no bag thing is a pain. Handing us hot greasy items. Where r we supposed to put them as we drive? Pretty soon we ll have to bring our own utensils. Gave 3 stars because the staff is trying.. it s not their fault I don t c any response from the management on here so I doubt they really care anyway. The message I m getting is We don t really care about the customers anymore

The whole point of curbside pickup is to pull up to a spot and put the number in and have them come to you. The fact I waited 10 mins only to go inside and have them say I wasnt there... How could I not be there if you literally have to pull up before you input a parking space number lol.

Staff was kind and when we were told to park at curbside to wait for our food, it was pretty quick. I gave it four stars because the quarter pounder was burned at the edges, but otherwise the food was amazing.

My only issue with this McDs is the drive through. Ive been here many times and more often than not, the staff will ask you to pull ahead, park your car, and wait for your order to be brought to you instead of getting it at the drive through. I know its not the workers at fault here but this is a silly way of operating.

Dont bother ordering the Double Quarter BLT or the Crispy Chicken Deluxe. It is never EVER the correct burger. I have physically given up ordering these items because even when I ordered through Doordash where I am the one typing in my order for my family its wrong. EVEN when we ask the staff nicely again before paying making sure its what we asked its wrong. It has come to the point where we have to open the boxes to make sure the DBL quarter has 2 patties on it. Today was the last straw. Hire more people or get mangers to check the bags before you hand them out in your drive thru. Furthermore if you do order from here always check your bags.

I recently had a rather unsettling experience at this McDonalds, and I believe its crucial to share my thoughts on the matter. While the incident itself was not catastrophic, it did raise some serious concerns regarding food safety and customer care. During my visit, I ordered a McFlurry. As I was enjoying it, I suddenly choked on a sharp piece of plastic that had broken off from a McFlurry lid and found its way into the ice cream. This was not just a random occurrence; the manager admitted to witnessing the lid break while mixing the McFlurry and still choosing to serve it. All she did was put a new lid on the McFlurry. This, in my view, is 100% negligence on the part of the staff. Upon reporting the incident, I was met with an apology from a supervisor who explained that the recent plastic ban had prompted the use of a new mixer system that broke the lid. I was refunded for my meal and offered a $25 compensation. Frankly, I did not feel that this was an adequate response given the admitted negligence and the potential harm that could have resulted. After some back-and-forth discussions with the owner, I expressed how much more serious the issue could have been and the potential financial damages that could have arisen if I had swallowed the plastic. In response to my concerns, the owner eventually offered an additional $75 in gift cards. While this was a more substantial gesture, it still leaves me with lingering apprehension. My concern remains that this situation had the potential to be far more serious. Had a child or someone else accidentally ingested the plastic, it could have led to not only a lawsuit but also significant public outcry and injury. Thankfully, I did not swallow the plastic, and my injuries were limited to a minor cut on my tongue. Nevertheless, the entire incident has left me feeling rattled. In conclusion, while McDonalds did take some steps to address the situation and increase the compensation, I believe that a more thorough investigation and a more substantial gesture of goodwill were warranted. Food safety should always be a top priority, and I hope that incidents like this can serve as a wake-up call for better training and procedures in the future.

Bad service!!! Most of the time there are issues with the order. Got hair in my bagel, ordered dd but got black coffee, said no meat got bacon in it!! There s always something wrong with them. So much wastage of time and money

This location is extremely dirty. The service was terrible. They made 3 mistakes on a very simple order. The only bright side is they have a play area for children but bring the sanitizer they dont clean that area either. Washrooms have bugs and looked like they werent cleaned in a long time.

Informed my nine grandkids that grandpa will never walk into this McDonald s ever again. Walk in customers don t matter, their policy of drive thru first walk-in last is warped. Thanks McDonalds for polluting our air quality. Having said that, this place is always filthy, every table you go to sit at is filthy, the food is way overpriced and is of garbage quality. Said it all before McDonalds has become a terrible experience. Bye forever

Go through the drive-thru! I parked to reduce idling emissions and did online ordering with curb-side delivery and it took 20 minutes. I even went in after 10 minutes to check and they said they were will making it. It was literally a chicken nugget meal with a sundae! Edit Dang it, I totally forgot about this and did curbside again and it was horribly slow again also took about 20 minutes and order was messed up. Argh
