Ramie's Greek Restaurant - Delta in Delta

We had a good time here with my team on monday, food quality and serving is excellent.

Minimum tip is 18% -won t be returning.

We ordered take out of the prawn/scallop souvlaki and the Ramies special. The food was great and so were the portions. Lots to choose from on the menu. We would order from them again.

Terrible customer service. We placed an order through skip and accidentally placed it at the burnaby location for pick up. I called right away and they would do nothing about it. I abandoned the order even tho I had already paid and called the Delta location and placed another order for pick up. This time they sent it to the Burnaby location for us to pick up again. We called again and they gave us no help or compensation and when we asked if we could come into the restaurant for lunch they said no and that they where to busy.

With a group of six... had a fabulous time. Great food and service and lots of laughter!!

The food was good. We had the Ramies burger and Lamb suovlaki. The burgers patty was a little overcooked. Other than that, everything was very tasty. The service was ok. They were a little disorganized but very polite. Food

So I was a little disappointed when I called to order take out. Im a local and we received a menu in the mail and when I tried to order they told me the item was only available for lunch. No where on the menu did it say that. I wanted a veggie greek wrap and my husband wanted veggie lasagna. I dont understand why they couldnt make a wrap. If the flyer had of said that it was only available for lunch then fine. I told the guy on the phone that too. Youd think that if youre new to the neighborhood and want to establish yourself youd go the extra mile. At least say well make it for you this time and notify that in the future its only a lunch item. Again though why couldnt it be made. Its pita, veggies,feta and sauce. Doubt Ill go there now. Was curious. Now just disappointed.

Good Greek food, decent prices, a little out of the way

We had a great first family dinner at Ramies new location in Delta recently. We are very familiar with Ramies first restaurant and our family has been dining their since opening! We are new to the area and are so pleased to have such a wonderful place so close to use. We frequently go to their location by Metrotown. This new location is a work of art and makes you feel as though you are in Greece. I brought my younger brother who is very picky and he said it was the best chicken he ever had. The meat is never fatty and the food never greasy. It is always fresh and healthy. You will feel good about bringing your family here.

Wonderful, out of the way, little restaurant. Changing ownership at the end of this month (August, 2024) hope the new ownership is as good as the last one!

Fantastic meal, clean, beautiful ambience, wonderful staff. Maria and Georgia were attentive but descrete. Soulaviki (Beef and Lamb) were the best we have ever had. We will be back and telling everyone to come here.

The most delicious Greek meal. Every bite brings real pleasure - melting saganaki, the softest roasted lamb, unique missals. Even their own Primerose Coffee. You have to try all of them! I am serious ;) Recommended dishes

What a treasure this family run restaurant is! They have date night Wednesday and Roast Lamb Sunday, plus others. Prices for the quality of food is great; and even better for the portion sizes. Bring your appetite as Maria and her family are like many European families who love to stuff your tummy. They are attentive while not intrusive (this was our date night). I enjoyed the roast lamb thoroughly, so tender my fork struggled to transport it. Cooked perfectly. Pita bread was light and fluffy, just the way I like it. We were too full to have dessert but a slice of cheesecake went to a nearby table and it was generous of portion and looked delicious. Note families are welcome here but childrens menu only has a few items including a grilled cheese sandwich (which was tempting even for this adult). Definitely worth discovering! Near Massey tunnel on the Delta side.

Best roast lamb ever. So tender, not greasy, the portion was huge, had to take home half. Had calamari for appetizer, light batter and the squid was also tender, not chewy. Worth a visit. Service was attentive considering only mom and daughter doing the waitressing. Definitely, will go back.

The Primerose is a family favorite. Always great food and service with a lively atmosphere.

10/10 Food. First time in a while, I ve yawned at 8pm. Food Coma? First Time Eating Greek? Enjoyable? Treated everyone else the same? Taking a big fat nap after this? Double Presentation? Mhm . Would go again? Especially the Salad, reminded me. When I was a kid and having the exact same salad/flavouring on a cruise. Rating? Solid 8/10.

Very disappointing. Having worked in Tilbury Industrial Park for some years, I have gone to several restaurants in the area. In the past, the Primerose was a real treat. This time, however, it was a real disappointment. My husband and I run a small business in the area and thought it would be a nice place to take our staff for lunch before Christmas. While the service was mediocre, the food was not. The dip platter was quite tasty but we had to wait some time for it to arrive. The souvlaki tasted of cooking fuel, the rice was overcooked and the salad over-chilled. No one had any desire to try the desserts. I am very sad that a once loved restaurant has gone so downhill.

Phenomenonal flavours, great consistentcy, a little pricy than what youd expect, but worth every penny. Meal is so large, I personally cant eat it all in one sitting. Their tzatziki is the best Ive ever had. 5/5 would recommend. Everytime I order out, my mind always goes to primrose. Keep up the amazing job!!!

What happened to you Primerose?? Used to be really good but you ruined my mother s dinner. Ordered take out for mother s dinner for 4, food was bland and lamb roast was very dry all went in the garbage- extremely disappointed. Won t be back again!

And from reading all the reviews it sounds like the owner was so defensive & very cocky instead of apologizing for their mistake, he bashing the customer instead - Bad customer service skills!

Great place for dinner. Date night Wednesday deal, $55 for appetizer, two Greek entrees and dessert. Good size portions, the lamb ribs are wonderful at medium well done, and the kalamari is soft and lightly breaded, with the fluffiest tzatziki Ive ever had.

Found this place by accident after visiting Deas Island. Id highly recommend it. We had the slouvlaki and it was tasty, nice sized portions of meat. The staff were all really friendly.

Solid food, and authentic owners who go the extra distance to ensure a great dining experience. Youll always have a great meal, and these days - that kind of consistency means that someone in the background is working extra hard to make it happen, which is just what we all need right now.

I am so disappointed in my last take out experience at Primerose. I have ordered take out from them a couple times and each time it was delicious! This time, there must have been a quality check issue because our food was extremely below average and not worth the $40 meal. We ordered the kalamari dinner. Kalamari was good, potatoes & rice were lacking flavour. My husband ordered the chicken souvlaki, this was the biggest disappointment. It was SO SO dry, so overcooked. It was awful. Then to top it off, the pita bread was bone dry and stale. So so disappointing. Please quality check your food!

I had 12 separate lunches, appies and salads made for my team and I today. I picked it up and we had a great meal. Everything from the Roast Lamb to the linguini was awesome. Maria, Sia and their team did a awesome job

Ordered takeout a few weeks back. A full size caesar with a skewer of chicken and side of calarmi. I cant begin to explain what I had received. For the caesar salad, a handful of yellow completely soggy leaves (not sure if it was even romaine lettuce) with some sort of a watery dressing and was covered with POWDERED cheese. Then theres a small skewer of chicken (DRY). That part was about $24.00 (they charge $10.00 for skewer of chicken). And as for the calarmi, there mustve been about 15 soggy, shape of rings pieces. Absolutely, no excuse but when I called to give them my thoughts, the woman on the phone seemed to justify the quality of their food. Been told by many people that the quality of their food has declined. I absolutely agreed and thought Id give them another try... mistake. Way to go Primrose, youve lost us as customers for good

Had dinner with friends during covid and had asked for a patio and found it not set up as the chairs were pushed up against the tables. My party didn t want to bother having the owners set up outside. Plexiglass was in place and distancing tables but the owners/servers were not wearing masks. I felt very unsafe as our cases in delta are rising. All restaurants I frequent have servers wearing masks so as not to spread droplets when talking. I felt they were not concerned with patrons safety and although the food is good,I will never frequent that restaurant again

We visited this restaurant this past weekend. This was our first time out since COVID. Weve been coming here regularly especially since the new owners took over a few years ago. As always, the food was fantastic. The roast lamb was cooked to absolute perfection. My friend had the moussaka which was phenomenal and the service was second to none. As we walked in, we noticed that the patio was set up with tables and chairs but since it was a bit chilly we decided to sit inside. We also noticed that they had installed plexiglass barriers between all the booths and the rest of the tables were nicely spread out. The place was very clean as usual. There were hand sanitizer stations in the bathrooms and also one large bottle of hand sanitizer was at the front entrance. For anyone who is looking for the BEST Greek food in town, I absolutely recommend this little hidden gem!

We had a delicious dinner tonight! What amazing service! They are super COVID friendly. There are dividers between the booths, the servers have face shields that show them speaking to clients. The food was soooo tasty. We had the chicken and lamb souvlaki and chicken parm. The dessert - OMG to die for! Would definitely recommend! Also lots of space to hold a private function once COVID restrictions change.

I just ordered delivery and I have to say it was extremely mediocre. The lamb was extremely fatty and had to throw out half of it. The calamari was soggy and seemed under cooked. The spanakopita was undercooked and doughy in areas. Although the taste was mostly there overall the potato was not the traditional lemon flavoured dish I was expecting. The rice was bland. I would not order here again. It was a sad expensive meal :(

I went here for dinner tonight to catch-up with a friend from high school and it was honestly amazing! The atmosphere was super nice and relaxing. It was kind of like having dinner in a park, or a European café, but it was indoors. I tried the lamb and it was literally the most tender lamb I have ever had, not even exaggerating. The spanokopita was tasty, and the calamari was well seasoned, fresh, and crispy. I definitely recommend this place!!

Always an amazing dinner Here. Sia (the owner) and his family run a well oiled machine here. He always greets all his guests with a smile and friendly conversation, he chats with all his guests and makes people feel welcomed. The food ..is 11/10 , the atmosphere and decor is perfect and service is top notch. If you want Greek this is the place to eat. All the souvlakis are perfect and the roast lamb is fall of the bone delicious. Do yourself and your family a favor and make the trip out here!

My wife and I hadnt visited the Primerose for a few years; since moving into New Westminster. We happened to be out their way tonight so we decided to go for dinner. We each had a rack of lamb and shared the apple pie for dessert. The food was good. The service and atmosphere was superb! It is a family run operation and as soon as you arrive, you feel like you are part of the family. A warm greeting and personable table service was on top of the menu! Thank you for a nice date night out! We will be back!
