It was such a pleasure to be in this restaurant. Vegetarian foods were super delicious. I am planning to visit the restaurant again. Customer service is top notch. Very clean and decorative ambiance. If you are food lover, you must visit this place.
This is my favourite Indian Buffet. High quality, good service and tremendous food. Everyone in our party could choose the food that suited them. Some liked vegetarian dishes, I am keen on tandoori meats, the kids chose a plateful of cakes to start with. Nice ( but expensive) cocktails. Plenty of free parking. Not too busy in the week, busy at weekends.
From my limited experience of the Indian cuisine, the taste seemed authentic. My favorite was the butter chicken, which got a little spicy near the end. The seating area was spacious. Lots of parking available outside in the plaza. The place was decorated nicely.
Not bad for a buffet place. Price is alright. Ample parking as it's at a Mall. Not too busy. But service was a bit slow....had to wait almost 30mins for simple Mojito drinks for my table. And also gave me the wrong bill for the drinks and i didn't even realized it till after we left the restaurant. We were at company lunch function there whereby we pay for our own drinks. Food is good though.
I absolutely loved this amazing Indian buffet restaurant. With over 150 items to choose from, the variety was incredible, and every dish I tried was of top-notch quality. The food was flavorful and authentic, offering a fantastic range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The cocktails were another highlight—unique and expertly crafted, adding an extra touch to the dining experience. The service was extraordinary, with attentive staff ensuring everything went smoothly. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be back for another round of great food and drinks.
The food, the ambience, the service and the prices - all are worth it and a great experience. We got the lunch buffet for 24.99 and had a great meal overall. Tandoori chicken was unbelievably delicious and juicy, don't miss it. The desserts were nice too.
Great value of a fantastic Indian buffet! So many curry options, with delicious chicken and fish choices. Vegetarian friendly. Snacks are sweet and fresh, although it is way too sweet for me... Drinks sold separately, but still with a a good price. A huge bottle of Evian is on the table, but keep in mind if you need normal ice water, it is available upon request. Located in a mall, free parking available, both in front of the place, and the back. Friendly feeling from the beginning of the dinner, treated well with the staff here. Gonna come back soon!
We were here 3 weeks ago and we are back again. The food is so delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful, full of happiness. The drinks is amazing and creative. The decoration is awesome too, the space clean and big. Kids and wife love to come here. Will be back soon.
I am going to with my family and I fine in then I water coming told me only today 1:30 mint can sit I pay 45 dollar for 1 person I am going 6 person after that I eat again lady maniger coming ask to her water tell me time is done now do bell only 1:20 mint very bad service I pay over 300 dollar but is siting only 1:30 mint. Very bad please don t go this please then he know
Great experience. Beautiful incentive towards birthday celebration. Food
The food was good it s great.
Split yogurt lassi ( pitcher) was served. We complained twice and no action was taken.
Didnt like the veg variety and taste here considering price, very basic items like chaap and veg biryani is missing, currey not up to mark, would not recommend for vegetarian food only chole bhature was good
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Perfect weekend place for family and friends on top of that food is also tasty
Pathetic pathetic pathetic Where do I start. First we called them and ask for how long is the wait time, the hostess said that we can walk in and there is no wait time. When we reached there, we were told that we have to wait for 40-45 minutes. We decided to sit on the bar. Drinks were decent to be honest. The wait time turned out to be 1:30 hours and we finally got a table at 9 pm. Half of the things were either spilling in the buffet or they were finished. I guess that s what you get when you get to reach food at 9. The place was overcrowded and not enough service staff to handle such numbers. We waited in line to reach most of the below average tasting items. I am not coming back never.
Seriously, $13.00 for a 1ltr of 7up... Thats absolutely highway, robbery!!! I wouldve gone to Walmart and rather have been charged a corking fee... how much was that pop, tho SERIOUSLY Like $2.00 worth!!! All of their prices went all the way up. After a pitcher of pop costing $13.00 and $40.00 for dinner when I am only able to have one plate NOT WORTH IT!!! I FEEL TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF!!! I had bariatric surgery, and I can only eat a limited amount, but it doesnt matter to them. We had our work Christmas party here... NOT WORTH IT!!! Im so sorry business is so very bad for you that you have to rip everyone off.... ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS!!! WONT BE BACK!!! You can tip the server the extra $10.00 off the cost of that pitcher of pop... ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!!!!
Great customer service.
We love it here! The food is so so delicious for the buffet! High quality food and meat! The only thing is, watch out for the water on the tabel, you will be charged! You have to ask for free tap water!:)
Everything was very good
Amazing food will be back ... But was over hearing several people complain about the VERY loud music ) Over heard Punjabi conversations about customers ( I speak fluent Punjabi even tho I am caucasian). But food was amazing and premises were clean and well taken care of .
Overrated restaurant Taste is disappointing Food
I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Took out 9 colleagues to enjoy a nice Xmas dinner, 5 out of 9 were very disappointed. For a $550, $630 including tips, we did not get the value we want. My Indian colleague all complained that the food was not authentic. Food variety was lacking. I am very very disappointed having spent such a large sum, and my colleagues did not have a good time. Drinks were very very expensive.
food served with the hair, Bad
Great food, well balanced taste Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Yes Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Average food. Not worth your money!!!
The best buffet I have been to in BC! Would totally recommend anyone to check it out!
Hands down best buffet in Surrey Ideal for hosting parties. Classy drinks and great atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options in menu but no special dietary requests in the buffet area.
I came here with my family this evening for a birthday celebration. Price of the buffet was overpriced, food was average, they charged us for water and didnt even tell us they would, put a service fee on the bill and didnt even tell us so some people from our table added a tip. I wouldnt recommend this place.
Food quality and quantity is much batter than before. This is my 2nd time to visit this place they have ample parking spaces and it is easy to park . I like their food specially got happy when saw a Halal corner of food. I definitely recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Such a bad place to go, terrible food, nothing was tasty except cucumber. This place was a self realization that food could also be cooked at home or maybe look for any other place where quality is the main priority. They are charging water for $7 which gives you even bigger guilt that was I really that thirsty? Definitely not a good place to go, really bad experience
I visited Tandoori Flame with my partner to celebrate our one-year anniversary, hoping for a memorable food experience, as we both are food enthusiasts. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the most disappointing dining experience of my life. From the starters to the main course, everything was subpar and lacked flavor. Even the water bottle, which was paid for, tasted strange. The only redeeming item was a single small gulab jamun. Aside from that, nothing stood out positively. This experience was far from what we expected, and it made our special day feel quite underwhelming. I would give it a zero rating if I could.
This restaurant is okay for a one-time try, but it didnt impress me enough to make it a go-to spot.
The best Indian Food Buffet experience. Love the goat curry.
We ordered takeout and desert was bland and they did not offer any compensation. We were a party of a 30 people. They were not even sorry and didn t refund and compensate any way. Very disappointed. Food
Very disappointed with the service and over cooked food. Gajar Halva was overcooked and dry. They did not accept the mistake and took so long for remedy and I am not satisfied. Manager did not show up.
Very unfortunate that they do not know how to handle their mistakes. Manager needs training.
Good food
The staff and food & our server Simran & kashish
We had buffet with our family oh god food was not good and they billed 450$ and waiter included tip by himself without even asking us
Disappointed ..
The best buffet we had so far in US and Canada in last 9 years. The atmosphere was amazing, so many dishes to try out for. For vegetarians I was disappointed that biryani was not there but I enjoyed live chat, live sweets and many other dishes. Would highly recommend anyone travelling to Vancouver. In most of the comments I see the price is higher(40$) but I feel worth it if u r trying it for the very first time.
Excellent service and food! Must visit
kashish service very very good, she showed me each desert, me and my friends have very wonderful time here food is good!!!service is very good! Food
Good food and selections. Service was poor One service provider for 20 people. Drink prices are outrageous ( 2 house wine cost $60. ) Food was not refilled when ran out. . Nobody knew which way the line ups start for buffet . Just kept bumping into each other. I wouldn t go on a weekend.
Nice Indian restaurant with many chicken flavors! Nice service by new Pranhjot and the food tasted really good.
Tasty food and good customer service by Himani
food was good, went there in the afternoon, service was zero, couldnt find the spoon , spoon basket was empty , for main course and for soup, bowl was not there , wanted to try the ice cream , ice cream cup was finished , a server 23 -24 year old with mask on face was there , I requested to him , he listened and gone , didnt say coming or bringing , I was waiting for him ,meantime a girl (server) her name was starting with N ( asked her name ) came to me and spoken with me rudely ,she said you are not supposed to stand here, I said waiting for other guy who was bringing bowl for me , made facial expression and that guy never came back. shame
They charge for the water in the table and don t bring you tap water unless you ask. What kind of restaurant does that? They also will prompt a tip on top of mandatory gratuity
We went to Tandoori Flame in a group of 13 for birthday party their appetizers are good but main course is horrible. Nan were cold and only few nans are on the station. Butter chicken was cold goat curry was chewy. It s not worth $40 per person. And at the end they are rushing to get payment they come twice to get payment and we told them we still have to cut the cake. Try some another restaurant.
Gave it another shot after being disappointed 4 years ago. I was impressed this time. Chickens and fish were juicy. Nothing tasted dried or like it had been made in bulk and left to sit out and dry this time. Enjoyed the appetizers, although I wish they had more items like pakoras, samosas, and chaat. The main dishes werent my intent to go but whatever I had was ok. Dessert pastries were a little try. Perhaps a glass dome would keep them from drying out. Pizza was disappointing. They used to make it properly but now its on a Naan so its mostly dough. It looks like the fancy milkshakes are mostly gone too from when they opened last. The salads had been sitting out in their liquids for too long though. Perhaps build your own salad bar wouldve been better. Overall I had a good experience. Id go back to load on thr chicken and fish Appetizers.
Food is not Upto the mark
I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately had a rather unpleasant experience. While at the buffet, I mistakenly placed a non-vegetarian pasta on my plate. Realizing the mistake, I approached a staff member nearby to politely ask if she could take the plate away. Her response was extremely discourteous, as she said, Oh, next time, you better leave it on the table. The issue here is that I was not at my table; I was in the buffet area preparing my plate. I was simply seeking assistance, and her tone and attitude were completely uncalled for. Good customer service is essential in creating a positive dining experience, and this encounter left a lot to be desired. I believe staff members should be trained to handle such situations with professionalism and respect. This was a disappointing interaction that really overshadowed the meal. I hope the management addresses these service issues to ensure better experiences for future customers.
It was really good
INCREDIBLE, i would come back every week if i could
Had great time here . Food is really good and perfect atmosphere for family.
Every thing is perfect.
The service at tandoori flame is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. special thanks to the entire team to make special my wife s birthday celebration . Many many thanks .
Overall a good experience, buffet was good.
An excellent restaurant with a variety of delicious Indian dishes! My experience here was outstanding, especially thanks to the warm and professional service provided by a very kind lady whose name started with K. Unfortunately, I don t remember her full name, but her friendly attitude and attention to detail made my visit even better. I will definitely come back again!
The food at Tandoori flames was good. But it was disappointing when they didn t have any halal options for lunch. I wish there was more transparency with when halal food is being offered. There is a large vegetarian selection of food but I came a long ways because of the halal availability.
Vegetarian option are not very tasty for the price.
Very nice place and fantastic food, unfortunately its extremely expensive. In fact its so unaffordable no avg people will get to enjoy it often. Sad because Id like to go more often. $40 each for the buffet. My wife and I can eat alot of food but theres not many people that can get theirs money worth I feel. Thankfully we didnt take our kids. Furthermore, the drink prices arent posted on the menu so you have no idea how much the drinks cost. Turned out the margarita my wife received was $19. All in all, 2 buffets, 2 beers, 1 margarita, and 1 glass of wine plus tax and tip came up to $175 (literally the 3rd most expensive dinner Ive ever paid for) which would be fine if it was the 3rd best dinner Ive ever received but its just a buffet. I feel the buffet should be between $25-$30 each so more people can enjoy the restaurant. Please price accordingly.
It is a amazing place to visit Price is reasonable Quality is unmatched Servers were professional Nibha was very helpful
Disappointed with Unfair Charges We visited Tandoori Flames on 27th November 2024 (check number 627118) with a group of 4 adults, 1 child (9 years old), and 1 infant (9 months old). While we enjoyed the food, we were very disappointed with an unexpected 12% facility/service charge applied to our bill. It is unreasonable to include an infant in the count for such charges, as only 4 adults and 1 child dined, and the infant did not partake in the meal. This charge was not communicated to us beforehand, and we felt it was unfair and unjustified. We have always appreciated the food and ambiance at Tandoori Flames, but this lack of transparency has negatively impacted our experience. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures fairness for future patrons.
Tandoori Flames consistently impresses with its excellent service, delicious food, and warm ambiance. I ve visited often and always felt welcomed by the attentive staff. Special thanks to Deepika, whose friendly nature and professionalism truly enhanced my experience. I highly recommend this place for a delightful dining experience!
Superb!!
Buffet was amazing
pretty good buffet. Fresh naan and pani puri were my favorites here. Dal makhni and aloo gobi were great, but channa masala and shahi paneer was not. Desserts were fresh. Worth checking out. Service was great, they were really good at clearing the plates everytime i got up to get more food Parking: lots of parking
Amazing!! Cheap and good food!
scam customers ..avoid this budget restaurant owner dosent care.. are you legally allowed to charge a facility fee ? for liquor are you upto date on practices ? bc on your menu alcoholic drinks dont have prices?! city and liquor by law needs to be made aware!
I recently went for dinner at Tandoori Flame, and as a foodie, I enjoy trying different restaurants. Unfortunately, my experience at Tandoori Flame was very disappointing. I expected the first dish to be good, hoping the second dish would be better, but that wasn t the case. I tried everything, but the taste and quality were extremely poor. Even the fruits were unripe and not fresh. Additionally, the cleanliness of the plates and bowls was unacceptable; the plates weren t properly clean, and the bowls had yellow stains on them. It was quite expensive, but the food quality did not reflect the price.
This is an amazing high quality buffet. So many interesting things to try. Definitely bring a very empty stomach!
Great, lots of varieties. Vegetarian options: Yes Food : 5/5 |
Great tasting foods that I actually expect at a good restaurant. At some buffets the food is tired. The food was delicious and fresh, steaming and hot. In the fact that I lived in India 21 years, my experience in eating food across India from North, East, West, Central and South informs my expectations. This is a great place to take a friend to have various tastes of India. For the Punjabi you are lucky for the great food available to you.
We visit this place often. Today, gajar halwa was stale and sour. I was trying to give it to my 2 year old kid. When he made a bad face after eating it, I tasted it to check whats wrong. I tried explaining this to the manager. He did not care to listen and started walking away as if he is going to replace it. They recycle food, but guys, please dont keep stale food. You are a big restaurant, and our kids health is at stake.
Food is always excellent, and service is fast, efficient and friendly. Never had to ask for refills or napkins, they were on top of it! Best buffet in the lower mainland
Absolutely amazing!
I recently dined at Tandoori Flame and was thoroughly impressed by their vegetarian offerings. The food ranged from above average to excellent, showcasing a wonderful variety that catered to all tastes. Their buffet included delightful options across different cuisines, such as chaat, appetizers, South Indian dishes, North Indian specialties, Indo-Chinese fusion, and Italian favorites. The dessert selection was equally impressive, featuring both hot and cold items, all freshly made. I recommend trying smaller portions initially to fully enjoy the variety without overindulging. Each dish was well-prepared, and I found the flavors to be vibrant and satisfying. While I typically lean towards vegetarian cuisine, I would highly recommend Tandoori Flame for anyone looking for a quality buffet, especially compared to options in neighboring Washington state. The diverse offerings and attention to flavor truly set it apart!
I recently visited Tandoori Flames with my family to celebrate my brother-in-law s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. Our server SHARRY was fantastic; very attentive and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The ambiance added to the festive vibe, and the food was delicious, with each dish beautifully spiced and flavorful. It s the perfect spot for a family gathering or celebration, and we left with full hearts and stomachs. Highly recommended:)
The halal options were very limited and we had to wait for almost 35-40 min for non veg tandoori items. And what came to us as chef s special was literally uncooked. We were not informed that the beverages were not covered in buffet and they were very expensive. We would neither visit this place ever again nor will recommend to anyone else.
Tandoori flame grand Indian feast with variety of foods.starting from appetizers to desserts all in the same set price excluding drinks . Good atmosphere ,family friendly . Few things they need to work on to play with there Menu may be add or delete few items during different days so it doesnt feel monotonous to customers who visited before. Dessert section they need to add more international desserts as they are catering for multicultural society. Great service during weekends but during weekdays found some food stations were closed . They are pretty good but can make themselves better
A nice place to go and experience
Vegetarian options: Bad veg options . Baji was spoiled . When informed them - they said thanka for bringing to our notice . Ao they dont even notice bad stuff and give 3 days back cooked food. Food : 1/5
Not good and expensive more than their food
Easy 5 stars. Worth the experience.
Tandoori Flame is a family favourite. The food is delicious and fresh. You can watch the chefs cooking a variety of Indian, Indo Chinese and western dishes live. There are so many varieties, your first visit can be overwhelming. But take your time. Theres lots to soak in! Make sure to prepare a plate of golgappa. We took some pani puri (shells) in one plate. On another plate, we added potatoes, chickpeas, chutney and onions. We brought that to the table alone with a bowl of the juice/sauce. Its a delicious appetizer to share! My favourites dishes are the pakora varieties, malai chicken, seekh kabab, lamb curry and goat curry. The salad bar helps balance your meal. Try the corn salad, broccoli salad and kale salad. Or just take some fresh cucumbers and red onions. Its super refreshing. Ill let my dessert videos speak for themselves. The sweets are made fresh. They arent overly sweet, and the portions are perfectly small. So go ahead and sample a few! This time we visited on a Friday night. We were pleasantly surprised it wasnt too busy. Weve also come on a Sunday afternoon and it was much busier. Dietary restrictions: Limited vegan options. We visited with vegan family members recently, and were told vegan naan was not possible.
The environment was good, everyone was so sweet just the food was cold
Good spread of food. Taste was good too. Enjoyed the lunch with my friends.
They have amazing food/drinks and services 10/10
we tried the buffet and they have amazing food here.Best place with grat staff.Thank you Kashish for hosting us.
I recently dined at Tandoori Flame, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish was packed with taste and made with high-quality ingredients. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, which added to the overall amazing experience. Highly recommend Tandoori Flame to anyone looking for great food and an unforgettable dining experience!
Yes, food is always great a heaven for any foodie with a vast flavor satisfaction, par, with service world class! Will continue to Dine here if the service remains at this level never had a bad experience at this restaurant! I once got an item and when ask by the service person I told them it was cold! I was shocked to see how my feedback had immediate impact I light the big grill in seconds and chef were busy correcting this even though they were like 10 minutes away from close! That was applaudable!
Enjoyed the service and food was too good
Wanted to go for a nice dining experience for $40 person which is high, ended spending $90 person. It is such a scam, facility fee $40, tip, one drink 54$, $36 for water -and extra taxes on all these charges. Instead of enjoying our meal and our experience, felt scammed like many others who reviewed. No transparency for drink prices, and other extra costs. Will not be going again and will not recommend to others!!!!
I would highly recommend to dine in this memorable ambiance and enjoy its flavorful buffet which is designed and arranged for all ages, temperaments and tastes. Don t worry about asking anything you need as all members are friendly and respectful. Kid-friendliness: Although it was not their happy hours, they contributed child discount to us
It was my first time eating at the restaurant and surprisingly being a European person I really liked it. Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend
Food was great. Amazing service. Friendly service.
Awesome place worth the money . Must visit place
If youre looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, look no further than Spice Junction. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff set the perfect tone. I had the pleasure of being served by Rohit, who went above and beyond to ensure our meal was exceptional. The menu is a delightful mix of traditional and contemporary dishes. I highly recommend the butter chicken and the biryani both bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Rohit also suggested a fantastic mango lassi that paired beautifully with our meal. The service was prompt and attentive, with Rohit checking in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. His knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm for the food made our experience even more enjoyable.
Absolutely delicious. I m visiting from Mexico and I loved the place, taste and kindness of the people working there. Highly recommend.
Absoloutely amazing experience, me and my friends came here when one of them suggested we eat here, he hyped it up to the point we didn t think it could match expectations, and yet this restaurant exceeded those expectations. All the food was amazing, and as someone who has tons of experience with Indian cuisine, I was very surprised at how good everything was in comparison to rival restaurants.
Incredible. this guy was there too which was nice
Great Ambience, good food and an amazing staff. One of the best buffets in Metro Vancouver (or maybe entire BC). Huge shout out to Kashish (Guest Relation Manager) and Himani for elevating the entire experience. Will definitely visit again.
Cheap food, specially goat meat as hard as rock, same food nothing new, been there two times, not going anymore
This was amazing their food was so good that I really wanted to give them a 5 stars and since I am writing this review yeah the food is good Vegetarian options: So good
A bit pricey but always good food. Good atmosphere. Staff that work hard
No. 1 place of surrey and delta to enjoy food
I absolutely loved this amazing Indian buffet restaurant. The variety was incredible, and every dish I tried was of top-notch quality.
Great service and delicious food! Went for lunch service on the weekend, and the buffet option had so much selection. Will definitely be back!
Service 5 Food 0 ( everything was cold and was not tasty. Not recommended. Food : 1/5
Harmanjot Singh was serving exceptionally and with a great smile
It was an amazing experience
The food was fresh and delicious. To top that of, the server Nibha and the management people constantly made sure that we had everything we needed and satisfied throughout our visit. Their efforts are highly appreciated. Thankyou team!
Delicious food, polite service, and a very cozy ambiance. Great job on keeping up the quality and standard. Vegetarian options: Plen
The food, the ambience, the service and the prices - all are worth it and a great experience.
If you go for quantity it is there but the quality has gone below average of the food , their indo Chinese section needs a lot of work I honestly never had this bland and bad tasting indo Chinese, appies and desserts are ok
Vegetarian options: Yea lots of Kid-friendliness: Ys Food : 5/5 |
**Update: First time felt like being ripped off. Never ever going there again. They never offered us glass of water. When I asked for a glass of water, we were handed over two empty glasses without any water or jug of water. Offering water to guests and clients which is common courtesy in every Indian Restaurant and in our culture as well. There was a sealed water bottle on the table. Thinking that since they gave us empty glasses, we are supposed to open and use this water bottle, which we used. To our surprise, on our bill, we were charged for the water!!!! What a rip off..!!! And insult to injury, 2 times were asked to buy other beverages. In other words, indirectly telling customers that we have no courtesy to offer water in this restaurant and apart from paying for food you have to pay for water as well.. What a insult to Indian culture of not offering water to guests. Very disappointing Tandoori Flame..!!! I was your customer from day one but not anymore.**
Its same food from idk past 5years same menu no changes stale flavours
We had a great lunch and really enjoy the environment!
Fantastic experience. Had a great time hear with friends. Great food and the mocktails were delicious. Highly recommend
This is the first time I visited this place, the ambience, food, light music everything was just perfect for my special day..The staff is super nice and helpful. Would definitely like to visit again and recommend to others as well.
food was amazing, place recommended by @amit lal
Amazing food and service
Great experience
Excellent service great food
Magnificent place to meet up with family. Kids Friendly. Vegetarian options: We love Shahi paneer. Kid-friendliness: The children enjoy pizza and ice cream in addition to the dishes. Cool.
Super crowded restaurant as they try to pack in as many tables as possible. They asks for review in exchange for a discount, so beware.
Worst place! This place is a scam! Facility charge by making a 1 year old as a head count is totally unfair! Don t get fooled by their non alcoholic beverage! They charge 30$ for it! We got gift card for 100 dollar in their site as they mentioned you will get extra 20 $! But we didn t get it , if we asked them they said it s third party who handle it. One another kid who came with us didn t eat anything due to health issue, but they didn t even consider it and charged for him. Manager of Surrey branch is one of the worst person we dealt with till now! We don t recommend this place to anyone! Pls see the bill for scam!
Vegetarian options: Paneer Tikka Tandoori smoky alllo One of the best meal I have ever had thanks for your hospitality
Very delicious food. Loved the ambience. All the dishes were so yummy. Im looking forward to going there again. Pari did an amazing job and was very accommodating. Food
Had a great time at Tandoori Flames. Best indian food in Canada so far! Love the concept and definitely coming back here everytime! Food
Amazing food and adorable staff specially Manpreet is really down to earth nature nd way of talk is very respectful giving to food nd specially manpreet (GBU
All good, but too costly
Good food
I cant give an opinion because Im not a lover of Indian food. But my husband did, so this rating is his... they didnt have chicken tikka masala, that made him sad, they didnt offer natural water. I dont know if thats normal in Canada... I saw that everyone had it except us
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere.
We arrived at 5.30pm and the restaurant was not full and most window tables were available. We requested a window table but we were told that tables were booked ( i saw every people who were taking food back to their table and they weren t sitting at the window tables). So they look at your face to give you a table. Our waiter ( a guy with turban) was nice and helpful but waitresses did not have a smile on their face and made us feel like they are doing us a favour. Even the women managers have no smile and treat people based on appearance. We were only one hour in the restaurant and were told to stop eating and time to leave, when the people on the table beside us came before us and were still there. Managers don t care and even guest relations won t reply to this review as they reply only to 5 stars review. AND THE FOOD IS AVERAGE, IT IS FULL BECAUSE IT IS A BUFFET SO YOU CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN IN 1h 30MINS.
Our server was amazing (Simran Kaur) and Rohit manager was checking in to see how we are enjoying our experience. Is this a place to check out? You bet Friendly, clean and busy so get there early Food
Good food Everything is perfect Food
No change of 12% extra charge for more than 6 people group. Though you have 1 kid who is 3 years old or 1 year old. And 12% tip service charge they add it without anyones consent, for a buffet which you will serve food by yourselves and only by serving water and giving some extra napkins charging you 12% is not at all good. Undercooked munchooriyas. Not at all worth of coming.$240 for 5 adults including tip and group fee.
Great place to enjoy ur lunch .
Kashis was really enthusiastic in presenting/offering the golgopas and fish pakora to my family. It was my family s first time experience to explore Indian cuisine. I definitely recommend you guys to pay a visit here.My husband was really happy .
Very good food service is nice
Great place. Went for a special occasion in the patio. Food was really great and they had very nice drinks and mocktails. Service was very good at the table. Loads of parking. Highly recommended.
Unlimited tasty food, only issue is not knowing where to start. I would definitely come here again and again, has a nice vibe as well.
Very tasty food and also good service from staff
Excellent service good food. Good experience with kashish she is so nice good attitude Food
Tasty food and good service
Ok, I always give benefit of doubt and thats why food and service is not good but today on week day, hair in food and manager told us we usually order from third supplier was reluctant to take accountability and upon asking for cold food and poor service they gave us new pizza which was cold again.
All time buffet with a wide variety of Indian dishes and desserts. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Food : 5/5 |
waste of money and time
First time in Canada felt like I got robbed. They are hella Expensive with descent quality. I was shocked after seeing my bill
Wastage of the money, I should give them zero if possible. They are asking for beverages to order to make more money. Really disappointed. Not so many vegetarian options. Also, all the food will have greasy layers on top, which make your mind to give a thought, should I eat it or not. Tandoor guy is giving you looks like I don t wanna make new one. You guys are not important to us. Same with Dosa and Bhatura making guy.
I recently dined at Tandoori Flame in Surrey, expecting a premium experience given its reputation as a fine dining Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, my visit was quite disappointing. Upon receiving my meal, I noticed that all the bowls had yellow marks, indicating they had not been properly cleaned from the previous meal. This raised immediate concerns about hygiene and dishwashing standards. It felt unsettling, as if I was being served leftover food rather than a freshly prepared dish. For a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining establishment, I expected a much higher level of cleanliness and attention to detail. This experience has left me questioning the restaurants commitment to hygiene, which is essential for any dining experience, especially in a premium setting. I hope they take this feedback seriously, as I would love to see improvements in their standards. Until then, I cannot recommend Tandoori Flame based on my recent experience.
Went for my bday... delicious food and nice atmosphere!!! Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Tandoori Flame has amazing service, and creative drinks. For a relatively expensive restaurant, food was okay, and very diverse.
Weve ordered take out many times before and have been happy with the food but they recently changed the offerings for the BOGO offer. My wife always gets the butter chicken and I used to get either the Karahi paneer or aloo Gobi. Now they force you into only a handful of options that dont work for me. Why bother forcing people into only a few options? Can it really be saving you that much money somehow? I guess I wont be ordering here anymore. Its a shame as I do like their food.
We came to celebreate our friends bday and we had amazing time here .We also had celebration platter which was the best part of the evening .Thank you Kashish and Prachi for everything. We will come back soon
Tandoori Flames is a first place when we think about any family getogether. Already visited several times. Amazing food selection with buffet style. For first time we also decided to celebrate a birthday at Tandoori and ask for birthday package. Birthday person was surprised with amazing birthday celebration that staffs did. It includes beautiful ice cream cake with lights and songs. And all staff came together to sing and wish the birthday person. It was truly a memorable day for everyone who was celebrating with a birthday person.
Worst Experience!!! 1.Too much crowd, which was okay until we saw half of the food was finished and the rest half was not even warm. 2. Drinks are expensive. 3. The quality of food was not fresh. Wasted our time and money. NEVER coming back!!!
The food and service is absolutely amazing!!
Nice and clean place, food was excellent There were several options for all kinds of people
After being a regular customer since their opening, it is time for a review. In short, amazing variety that captures the tasted of India from North to South, East to West. Excellent and authentic flavors. Very comfortable ambience. I will keep on coming here whenever my stomach commands. Thank you TF.
