I love this place but the last couple times I found the rice a little hard on the outside of the sushi rolls and the tempura is soggy.... I love you guys but the quality has to stay up there in order for you to survive... Just some friendly advice.

I order from Uber Eats at least once a week for a long time no, can you please put at least 2 soy sauce suckers for the large rolls like Philly roll? If I m spending $40 why am I only getting 1 soy sauce?

The food here is my top favourite sushi place in the area! The staff are friendly and helpful. When I had my braces put on my teeth, they made me giant portions of miso soup, so I could eat something at home while my teeth pain calmed down. The bento boxes have good portion sizes and the flavour of the food is always yummy! Highly recommend.

Great diner to get sushi, no matter the time of day but expect long line up s! Must try is the grill fish and sashimi so fresh and delicious texture along with their special rolls. Don t forget to order deep fried tempura as the crunch really takes it to the next level. Highly recommend.

Overall an excellent place for sushi. Very fresh and a lot of options for different combos. Not super quick but still doable for lunch or quick dinner.

Food was good! I ordered the beef dinner set and came with soup, salad, tempura, California roll, and beef teriyaki. The beef was a little salty for me so I finished the rice before the beef.

This place is AMAZING!! Ive been eating here for a long time, and it has never failed us. While the preparation is long, it always tastes fresh and we can always count on it. Weve tried other sushi places in the area, this has always been the best. Kid-friendliness: Totally tasty for kids! Really easy to handle.

With delicious cuisine and welcoming hosts, this is a fantastic location and opportunity to support local businesses. We frequently placed online orders for my favourite sushi and udon, and each time, the food was ready for pickup in 20 to 30 minutes.

Food was ok, Ive had much better Bento chicken teriyaki boxes before for the price, but it was ok. I was not a fan of their teriyaki sauce. And we waited a long time to get some of our other food... Ive only been there once so not sure if that is normal although there were only 2 other tables used, but its seems they had a lot of take out so that could be the hold up.

Lauryn was an awesome server she had a great attitude and I will be back! 5 stars all day and night! Vegetarian options: Tofu

This is one of the best sushi places

First time here,the food was all great,the waiters were very nice but unprofessional,there was a lot of parking.The only bad thing I did not like was the wait time,the people beside me complained about how bad the wait time is the the owner.The outside was not bad but kinda shady in the dark places at night.But it was a okay time there and I enjoyed it.

Oshi is over priced for 6 pieces not 8. Service was slow for being the only table in the place. They were very nice, and the food tasted just fine. My biggest gripe is they charged me $0.50 for the regular tea that other places would give you for free.

Amazing food and staff are amazing

Portions are small, quite a bit smaller than competitors in the area. The soy sauce is watered down. You have to request Wasabi and ginger. The flavors overall pretty bland. Place just screams cheap. Todai or Nordel Sushi are better options. My opinion.

Incredibly long wait for take outs. Was told that the order did not make it into the queue and had to wait for 30 minutes upon arrival. Many others were also there waiting and seemed frustrated. One skip the dish deliverer lost out on his order because they took too long. Food actually werent bad, if you can wait.

In the quest for good sushi in Delta, we tried Minori tonight. The good: I ordered pickup and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. I went to the Delta Lion for a beer to wait it out. 30 minutes into the call, they called me! She said hi sir, your food is prepared and is just being packed up now. We wanted to give you a heads up . I have never had that happen before, and it was awesome. The food was all pretty tasty and very fresh. The not-as-good: for $60 the portions were small. My wife and I ate everything and I was still quite hungry when I finished. Also, they forgot to include soya sauce (although I managed to find some at home). Lastly, the tuna sashimi was still frozen .and that s just never pleasant.

The mango avocado rolls and yam tempura rolls are always delicious.

The best sushi I ve had in sooo long. The rice was fresh and the yam inside the yam roll was still crunchy from the deep fryer. The agedashi tofu breading was perfectly crisp and the tofu was nice and soft. The dashi/tsuyu broth that went with it, OMg. I could keep going on But seriously, go here if you want the best FRESH sushi in Delta!

Great place! Food is delicious theyre kind people. Though the food takes forever to make, you might wait up to an hour or so, which is the only downside to this place. Though I dont blame them, there arent enough workers. I hope they stay open, theyre my favourite takeout

Update April 2022: Changing initial review of 4 stars to 5! This is a solid sushi place here in North Delta and all throughout Covid times, their quality never suffered. Prices are still very reasonable considering everything around us has been increasing so much. Initial review: Good sushi and price. There was more rice than fish in the negitoro rolls I had but was content overall with the food.

Delicious food, and super friendly service!

Picked up dinner here last night, and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered roughly $65 worth of rolls and yakisoba, I certainly felt like I got my monies worth. I saw that previous reviews had mentioned small portion sizes but I did not find that to be the case. We had a ton of leftovers, my lunch today was almost as big as dinner last night. Quality was great as well, no complaints on any of the dishes. I was very impressed at how well our food was laid out in the pickup containers, often times at sushi restaurants I feel that the food is stuffed into the to-go containers, but the staff organized everything and had little wax paper sheets separating the different rolls. Solid Restaurant Some of the dishes we ordered were: Veggie Yakisoba Spicy Tuna Rolls (also tried to deep fried version) Yam Tempura Rolls Spicy Mango Paradise Roll Spicy Agedashi Tofu (The spicy sauce was some of the best I have had and I order this dish at every sushi restaurant I visit. They do more than just slap some Siracha on top)

ordered here last night Salmon Tataki salad what a joke -dont do salads if you cant. it was a slop in a box that i paid $12 and waited 1.5 hours for. Also order the signature bowl chojang & Atlantic salad bowl $15 spring mix?? nooo try chopped brown lettuce both food containers had a puddle of water at the bottom . I guess they dont drain the water off the dead lettuce before packing... save your money the food here is not fresh!!!

This is my first time to try sushi at this restaurant from Uber Eats. Fresh sashimi and sushi but the rice seem not cook well and spinach over cooked and hard to chew it out.

This place was very unassuming, but the staff was friendly and the food was incredible. We came from Victoria for a day trip, came across Minori on Google, and decided to check it out. This was the best teriyaki wed had in years, and I tend to be opinionated on teriyaki sauce. My yakisoba was still sizzling and the vege croquettes were fantastic. If were ever in town again, well definitely be back.

My favourite North Delta sushi since I was a kid. Delicious classics and fresh sashimi, highly recommend for a yummy local eat - prefer it over the newer place across the street!

Food has been *preparing for over an hour on uber eats and is estimated to be deliver another 40 minutes from now. Ridiculous.

Minori is my favourite place to order Japanese food. Service is great...yam and prawn tempura so very very awesome...so were the crazy rolls! I wish I could dine there every night.

Ordered Bc roll and minori roll! It was not great at all. My BC roll didn t have any salmon in it and my minori didn t have any crab. Their sushi is just nothing but just rice and sauce!! Terrible sushi. Will not order again.

This place is Soo good. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Pick up takes a really long time but thats because theyre so busy because theyre really popular. Staff is super nice and sweet.

I love this restaurant! Theyre so kind and sweet! My boyfriend and I always order sushi from here. We honestly order from this restaurant almost every single day. The food is great and the service is always amazing. The staff is very welcoming and always smiling, even when they are super busy. One day my boyfriend and I were waiting in the car for our order and it was during the heat-wave, the lady working there is so nice!! She handed out cold drinks for customers waiting out in the heat!! I refuse to get my sushi anywhere else!!

Worse sushi tray I ever had. The selection quality were really bad.

Not a terrible place to get sushi! I like their food especially comparing it to Todai Sushi which is nearby, their food is better for the price. Their service is also pretty good. I will always keep coming back here.

I heard this place has been there for so many years, like more than 15 yrs, so I tried one night. And it was super good. Not really fancy, but the food is very earnest, very good price, and especially their sushi rice was perfect. They got busy at around 6pm, and lots of people came to pick up their order. I ordered a Dynamite roll, Tempura Udon, spicy chicken karaage, and sweet chilli shrimp, and some nigiris. Udon soup was really good, tempura batter was little bit thick but crispy. Their chicken karaage is boneless, which is more like a real Japanese style, and the spicy sauce was amazing. They said they make the sauce in house, and I think they can do really good Korean fried chicken with that sauce. (I was almost gonna ask if I can buy a bottle of sauce..) The sweet chilli shrimp has the same sauce I think. But for this one, it would be much better if it is coated with the sauce, instead of just drizzling a little on top. They put a lot of care on their food, service was fast, food came fast and hot, people are really nice. Its like a hidden gem. Definitely will come back to try more!

Very small but cozy. It was packed when we went on a Friday night, service was very slow, I mean very slow. The food was ok for some like sunomo salad was good but the sushi rolls were kinda plain, tasteless in my opinion. Sorry but I didnt have a good experience.

Id like to give it a 2.5, cause the restaurant seemed cute and cozy, and the staff was really nice. Having just moved to the area, Im making a point to try out some restaurants nearby to see whats up. I ordered four items from the menu. The spicy chicken karaage was barely warm, dry, the batter was quite thick, and had too much sauce. The remaining items were similar in quality. I might be willing to give it another chance, but my first impression was not great.

I tried the chicken Yakisoba. It was decent, noodles were almost too hard. I had asked for the skinless chicken, however they did not follow the instructions. I ordered from here reading good reviews but maybe it was that night or the yakisoba that s not good. I probably would not order again unless it s my last choice?

Wonderful local sushi restaurant. Great quality food, better people and service. We love it!

The restaurants pickup time went from 7:40 to 8:10. Arrived at 8:10 and the order wasnt ready. No time was given for when it woild be ready. Finally at 8:30 it was ready, however... the restaurant proceeded to give my order by accident to another customer who took it into their car. The restaurant owner ran out when they realized their mistake and took the order back from the other customer and back into the restaurant. A few minutes later they came out and gave my order back to the other customer, and back into their car. then quickly realized the mistake again took it out and gave it to. I expressed my frustration that they had given my order to someone else. The owner lied to me and said the other customer never touched it and it was never in the car. When we finally got the order home, the beef, chicken, rice and miso were all cold. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant again.

This is mine and my bfs favorite sushi place in town, and we have tried many many spots. Everytime the sushi is sooo tasty, and the ladies are so friendly with a huge smile. Also it is very cheap!

Best sushi in town spicy chicken karrage for sure try

I dont know how people say this place is good. I tried it one night with a friend and we were both disappointed. The sushi even smelled off when it arrived to our table, we had only a bite of each roll before leaving it. The lady kept asking us if we wanted to take it home and finally after the 4th no I had to flat out tell her it was disgusting. She asked us if maybe we ordered the wrong thing but I am a creature of habit and get the same rolls everywhere I go. We only ate 3 pieces out of a total of about 21 that we had. Did not even offer a discount! Disappointed.

Ive been to many sushi joints. Minori is by far one of my favorites

Been going there since they opened and have never had a bad experience. The owners and staff are friendly and work very hard to make their customers happy. They do get very busy so its a good idea to order well in advance if doing take out. I usually give them 1 1/2- 2 hours notice.

Good eats! Been coming here for a few years now and the food quality and tastes have been very consistent. Reasonable prices as well. We come here fairly often, maybe once every couple months and always eat-in. The environment is very family friendly and the kids like it as well. Havent tried take-out but always see a good number of people coming in and out to pick up orders every time we are in the restaurant. Its a nice local spot to hit if youre in the area.

Good food but took long time to get food

Called in a take out order, the food was prepared on time, and was well prepared. Rainbow roll was tasty. While this would normally give at least 4 stars, Im inclined to drop a star or two because of the way they handled the order: there were discrepancies involved (one item had two sizes, and another had sushi they ran out of). Instead of contacting me to ask and clarify what i would like to do, they simply made it how they saw fit. In this case, i had to pay for full order instead of four pieces. They also downgraded the sushi replacement, yet i paid the same price and received nothing beyond that. They werent even apologetic about it, which leads me to think this is normal for this establishment. Whats the point of taking my phone number for the order if they dont bother using it for the very purpose they requested it? They need to be a bit more proactive. I would reiterate that the food quality itself is very good. Eating in would probably make a better experience.

Staff was friendly hence why Im not giving it 1 star, did not like the food AT ALL. MY wife and I both shared the same opinion. Maybe weve been spoiled by some good sushi at other places but I could barely choke down the avocado rolls never mind everything else. Prices were high compared to other places Ive been. I would not ever go back.

The staff here is great! They are accommodating to our dietary needs and use quality ingredients. We eat sushi at least once a week and we have found this sushi to be the best. We have tried other places but always come back to Minori sushi!

Best Sushi Ive ever had! Great prices for fantastic food! My family and I go back time and time again. We mainly eat plant based and Minori has the best selection for us. Even more so now that theyve updated their menu! The staff are wonderful! Always greet you with a big smile and a lovely hello. Great atmosphere! Great service! Would definitely recommend trying Minori Sushi.
