First time being here and it was excellent. The vibe was great, the service was immaculate and the food was delicious. We got some drinks, sourdough bread and oysters to start. Had the beach house burger and the brewmaster for dinner and tried the lavender cheesecake for dessert. All of it was 10/10. Had the pleasure of interacting with a Robert, Jesse, Etem and Barry. Excellent customer service will be back for sure. Definitely check this place out! No TV’s, perfect for date night or a night out with friends. Four winds gives you more of an intimate vibe. Loved it! Oh and try the lemon aioli with your fries.

Four Winds is a new dining spot in Tsawwassen that offers an a good selection of food and drinks. One of their standout options is the beer flight, which provides an opportunity to sample various unique flavors. While I found some of the dishes a bit on the oily side, the overall taste was good. The cod burger was difficult to eat as the fish was super soft. If you’re looking to avoid long wait times, making a reservation is highly recommended. The booking process is straightforward, and it even allows for specific requests like special occasions. However, while they do ask if you're celebrating something special, the service doesn’t come with perks like complimentary desserts, which could feel like a missed opportunity for adding a more personalized touch. The all humans bathroom is very uncomfortable experience. The patio is a great dining option on sunny days, adding to the vibrant ambiance. Inside the place is too loud and it is difficult to enjoy a conversation. Additionally, the customer service is outstanding; the staff is attentive just no need to ask if everything was ok so many times. In general they are very friendly which enhances the dining experience and makes you feel welcome.

Went to Four Winds post Boundary Bay Marathon for some celebration drinks and food! I have been to the Annacis Island location in the past, which I really enjoyed, however first time at the Beach House! I love the open space, high ceilings, decor, and ambiance! Had a big selection of food at the table, which was shared! Everything was so delicious, my favourite being the chowder (special) and Brewmaster burger! The s'mores dessert was so tasty too! As always, excellent beer with my favourite being the dark lager! Our server Izzy was super friendly and efficient, and that goes for the other staff too! Very wonderful experience! I would recommend to friends/family and will be returning!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Winds Beach House and Brewery is a gem in Tsawwassen! They offer some of the finest beers in Western Canada, and the food is equally impressive—truly top-notch quality. The ambiance is sophisticated yet welcoming, and the outdoor patio is perfect on sunny days, making it a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy. Prices are great for the high-end experience they provide. You really have to come and see it to believe it—hands down the best brewery in Western Canada!

Checked this place out all the way from Vancouver and it was defintiely worth the trip out! For a brewery, we were surprised by how good the cocktails were. We had their version of a Paper Plane and a Negroni, both with a fun beer element to them. The food is the real standout though. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the bread roll and fancy butter, but it was literally to die for. I would have ordered just the bread. We had the chicken piccata which was like a schnitzel but chicken, it was flavourful and crispy. The sald of golden beets and stone fruit was really nice as well, peach with basil? What a combo. If it's cold outside we'd recommend asking for a spot in the main dining room area. It's so cool and has an amazing fireplace.

This was our first time at Four Winds Beach House and Brewery. The experience exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was perfect and the patio was an ideal complement to the gorgeous weather. Loved the open concept inside and out. Our server, Annalise, was phenomenal and made our experience one we will never forget. The butter on the pull apart bread set the stage for even better mains. Order the Smores Bar—it will blow your mind. We paired dessert with an espresso martini and a rum spiked root beer float for a flavour combination that was truly world class. We will be back as often as we can.

I am a visitor from Australia 🇦🇺 🪃 and we decided to check out the recently opened establishment. Ambience nice - decor very pleasing to the eye. We only had drinks, and the kids had some truffle chips. Water or sparkling water was offered - nice touch. The beer we decided to have very tasty - the consistency of pouring a beer - was not 300 ml as stated on the menu - every glass was different levels - judge for yourself. I am sure after a couple of weeks all the new staff will have all the training necessary, to work in such a nice and new upcoming restaurant. After writing this - I checked other reviews - customers made the same comments about the beer pouring. Overall, the place looks inviting - it is going to be very cosy, with the beautiful fireplace - when the weather gets cold - so all the best to the staff and management. My family will be back - the kids loved the sheets of drawing options, and it kept them entertained. Thank you!

Superb, and not just by Tsawwassen standards I ve been cautiously expecting quality to drop but I ve been here 3 times since opening. It s no wonder the restaurant is still consistently full! We ve tried an array of appetizers, entrees, desserts, beers and cocktails. There is not 1 item I ve gotten that hasn t impressed me! Keep in mind, prices are a bit high for the portions but I ve felt it worth the ambience. Because for me, a night out isn t just the food/drinks but includes the experience and atmosphere. They deliver on that every time. The thoughtfulness from design of their menus, interior, to their bathrooms, you can see there were no expenses spared. Beyond all of this, I ve seen them take feedback over the months and implement changes - appreciate that so much! Don t forget to reserve ahead!

Finally had a chance to visit the FW Beach House over the weekend. They carry some of the OG FW beers but have a great selection of new ones. As I saw on their Instagram post the Seafood Chowder looked amazing so I decided to order it. She came back and said they sold out, but I said its only 12 noon while you opened at 11? She then said, yes we sold out and making a new batch for the dinner rush. Sadly ordered the Fish Burger with side salad (which tasted very good) but found the salad to be extremely small (not to mention paying extra to replace the fries). Shortly after finishing my meal, what do I see? The Seafood Chowder being served to other tables... What happened to selling out? Extremely disappointed with how the server gave me false information. Pricing on food was a little high.

Our bartender, Robert, truly made the evening special. His attentiveness, charm, and deep knowledge of the menu and House Crafted Brews, helped elevate our dining experience. Robert went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering great recommendations and checking in just the right amount. A Must-Visit Gem! Four Winds Beach House and Brewery knocked it out of the park! Let s talk about that burrata a dreamy, creamy masterpiece that belongs in a culinary hall of fame. I literally bread swiped the plate clean! The mussels? Oh. My. Goodness. These beauties were plump, juicy, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Honestly, they could write poetry about those mussels, and I d read it! The service was spot-on attentive, friendly, and the kind of vibe that makes you feel like a VIP. Add to that the fact that the place is immaculately clean and effortlessly stylish. It s the kind of spot where every corner is Instagram-worthy without even trying. Bonus is they are family friendly! Sure, the fog decided to crash our party, hiding the view, but who even cares? The food, drinks, and atmosphere made up for it a hundred times over. Now we ve got the perfect excuse to come back on a sunny day and trust me, we will! If you haven t been yet, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to Four Winds, and thank me later. This place is a straight-up experience!

Great shellfish, salads, truffle fries and heartier fare, with big, open, stylsh seating by the windows amd more intimate in the bar area. But what really makes a pleasing brewery/eatery jas a lot to do with the staff and their recommendations based on ones tastes. I have been fortunate to have Etem as a waiter and brewery guide on several occasions. He is charming (he had my name and my partners down after the first visit!), very efficient, and has super food amd drink suggestions. I plan to return often and work my way through all the beers, ciders...Ill also be back for the mussels in the slighty spicy red sauce --a great preparation. Honestly though everything we tried was delishous and beautifully plated. ! Parking: Right out front if lucky, or a short stroll from larger lots. Very chill.

Tsawassen has a new brew and its delish! Actually many varieties of their own brewery beers, ciders, plus interesting takes on cocktails (good not too sweet margarita). Excellent seafoods and salads, truffle fries ..loved their peppery mussles in a tomato broth. They also have a very charming waiter named Etem who can give you some tips on what else you might like. You re going to get the best of Vancouver s dining scene but in a chill, small-town setting. Expect it all to be different than what you re used to, that s a good thing. The differences are subtle but clearly polarizing to some people. and thank goodness!! How refreshing. That s what food and restaurants are supposed to do. The good ones make you think and talk about food. it s engaging and just beautifully thought out, decor & design included. There is NO LACK of care, heart and soul that this family has put into this restaurant. So many things to appreciate. I love that Four winds is trying to expand its repertoire, people who own businesses have minds that just keep going and growing. Our town is lucky to have another small business try and make it in this crazy world. Otherwise all we ll get to do is compliment or complain about another chain restaurant if we re not careful. You HAVE to have the oyster mushroom appy even if you don t like mushrooms (same thing in the po boy. NOT actually oysters PS) , it s the perfect dish IMO. And the best spicy Margarita I ve ever had and probably the best one I ever will. Prices are totally fine to me, it s casual fine dining. Completely reasonable.

Got seated at the bar very close to another couple even though there were quite a few seats/booth available. Beer could have been topped up a bit more than it was. Asked about a second piece of fish for the Large Plate menu section Crispy Batter Ling Cod. They said another 18 bucks on top of the 26 bucks. So 44 bucks for a two piece fishnchips that came with a small bowl of short fries? These were served on small plates....I thought the menu said Large Plates? The every human for themselves bathroom freaked me out at bit at first and the people coming in and out of there were saying how uncomfortable it is to have all humans in such a private setting. The pantyhose on the lemon was a nice touch though.

Huge, new barn type building. High ceilings, one open place makes it very noisy. Waiters are friendly but unable to explain the food on the menu. Still learning..... Trying to present a new concept does not justify the pricing for deep fried fast food.

Been twice and found the service and food to be very minimal. Servers are good but the front of house is not welcoming or very helpful. Food, salade was over dressed with dressing , you tasted dressing nit salade. Fish burger was so so again to much dressing and the bun would have been better with sourdough bread not the plain hamburger bun type. No presseco to have. Stopped in here for some drinks and food. The building is beautiful and its in a neat spot. We joked with the server about the lack of beach (not an actual complaint, just funny). Beer flights are 3s, which is kind of weird. Especially since theres a lot of options. Food was alright, on the pretty good side. I liked the fries that came with my burger, its a better burger than the other location. My friend liked her cheese and bread dish. We would have maybe liked some more mid-level food. Theyre trying for upscale and it works, except... Its not a big deal if theyre going to allow kids, however, it does seem that theyre trying to draw a different crowd. When we were just about done, a family with two small children were sat right next to us. There had been other kids around, that wasnt a problem. These kids were LOUD. We asked if we could move over to the other side of the fire, which I realize is a pain and I hate that a server would have to clean an extra table, but it was already really loud in there and these yelling kids were making conversation really difficult. We were grateful they allowed us to shuffle over, however, not long after that, the kids started running around like a track in the area and yelling. Nothing was done other than shut the fire off (Im guessing thats why they shut it off?) which was really unfortunate as my friend has Reynauds and doesnt do well when its chilly. The parents sat and ate their meal while the children ran around disturbing everyone and everyone was looking around in frustration. We left pretty quickly after that as I didnt want my friend to get chilly and it was so loud. I wish someone had stepped in. If they are going to allow the bar to turn into a playground, maybe they should have some adult areas where we can not have to listen to that. Its hard enough when its so loud, but no one wants to listen to that. Sounds like a typical McDonalds, which is a shame because its so nice in there. Other than that, they have merch (of which I didnt buy any) but beer and such is 10% off when you have your bill. Bathrooms were clean, would have been nice if there were paper towels. Id probably go back, but maybe not. Kid-friendliness: Theyll let your annoying kids run the place without doing anything. So yeah, kid friendly. Adults that are looking for a nice place to hang out, not so much.

Great location, beautiful space, excellent food, service and drinks. BUT the bathroom situation is so strange; It gave me the ick. One large gender natural washroom. Everyone enters through the same door, separate floor to ceiling stalls, and shared sinks in the middle. It made my self and our group feel uncomfortable. I ve been to restaurants and lounges where this concept is executed more thoughtfully so it still feels safe as well as inclusive. Unfortunately this is not the case here.

My husband and & I went with another couple for our 1st visit to this recently opened Four Winds location. We started off outside at the patio while we waited for an inside table. The evening was cool and we were offered cozy blankets. We were still sipping our first drinks, when a table inside became available. As a group, we were all quite hungry so decided to share several items: the hot oyster mushrooms, grilled sourdough, wedge salad, & fried olives as starters. For Mains: we tried: Salt Spring Mussels, Bratwurst, Beach House & Brew Master Burgers. For Dessert, we shared, Lavender Cheesecake & soft serve ice cream with caramel sauce! Our server Pam was wonderful and provided great recommendations on food and drinks! We were all really impressed with the quality of food, the service and the decor. We had a fabulous evening and most definitely plan to be back. Would recommend reservations!

Myself and my 4 adult children ate at the new four winds on September 8th. I was stoked to eat there because I love their OG restaurant and we are regulars there (right by the Tilbury Rink). At the New Four Winds: Our service was great, the place is absolutely beautiful, and full of light. Love the ambiance. Our food was not good. I ordered the Oyster PoBoy and I could not even tell the small, dried up pieces in my sandwich were oysters. For the price, it should have been chock full of plump, juicy, delicious oysters. I took one oyster out of the bun and cut it in half and it still did not seem like an oyster. The fries were not good either, so I was not happy with the meal. The sauce on the Poboy was a little tasty but not enough to save the meal. If I was them I would go with a new type of French Fries completely. I am not a white spot fan but at least they nailed good fries. I also ordered the Mussels and they were decent but not great. All my kids got fish and chips and for the price, it was not good. To be fair, we are all foodies, and we seek out the most amazing food. We also fish halibut and cod and make homemade fish and chips. Ours are so good! We are particular to be sure. We all left disappointed. My daughters had already been there once and they did not like their food the first time. We are all hoping they iron out the kinks so we can go back for good food!! Put some of your killer tostados and Tacos on the menu. You do those well. I have heard many people say to me - there were no tacos on the menu! I think people were looking forward to good tacos in T Town. I noticed Pat Quinns was not tasty at all for the first few years, and every now and then we go back and I have a few good meals there in the past 2 years; I have High Hopes for 4Winds to up their food game!!! The Tacos at the OG spot are usually amazing. I dont think I have ever had bad food at the original restaurant. A few things to note for the owners though: You seem overstaffed or at least you were Sept. 8th. Lots of young staff standing in groups, not seeming to know what to do - this is a management issue. One bathroom for everyone. I have travelled quite a bit, this is normal in lots of areas of the world but usually there is a choice b/t a bathroom for everyone And one for women, one for men. We sat right next to the bathroom and a man walked in on a little girl when she was out of her stall but pulling up her clothes. She looked shocked and a bit scared. For all the woke people shaming others who think little kids should be subjected to this, grab a brain cell. There are always 2 sides, As a rule, everyone welcome bathrooms do not bother me but lets be sensible and acknowledge this can also be an uncomfortable and sometimes even dangerous situation for young children.... Unfortunately nefarious people do exist, so please stop shaming the people who are NOT supportive of mixed bathrooms. We all saw the little girls face, and we all talked about it!!

This was hit and miss for us. The space is clean and stylish. The designer however seems to have favoured form over function. The acoustics are not good. If it s busy, it s going to be very loud. Our group was mostly uncomfortable with the washrooms as was the table next to us who overheard the conversation. Other restaurants in the area have gender neutral washrooms and their design makes it a non-issue. Il Posto, Harry s, and Marios have them for example. The ability to wash your hands in the stall and then return to a public space is a big difference. Two misses. We started with the Grilled Sourdough and Oysters on the half shell. The Grilled Sourdough was very good. The Oysters themselves were delicious but not from BC as advertised. The horseradish and lemon were great, the fermented hot sauce and beer mignonette were just about tasteless. Hit and a miss. For mains we ordered Golden Beets and Stone Fruit, Steak Frites, and Dungeness Crab Spaghettini. Golden Beets and Stone Fruit was delicious. The steaks were also very good but the horseradish cream meant to accompany it was not to our taste. If you order the Dungeness Crab Spaghettini don t expect much crab. In fact it took some poking around to find any. The pasta as delivered was also quite dry. A request for additional white wine citrus cream resolved that and they enjoyed the meal. Our server was great - very personable and attentive. In a town used to established restaurants in strip malls this opening created quite a buzz. Without changes we probably won t return. Then again, we may not be the demographic they are targeting.

I rarely post reviews but really felt this one was needed . Had lunch there today . This was my second visit . My first was just a stop in for a cold beer on a hot day , the patio was too inviting . Our server today Jade, was exceptional . She had recommendations for what we asked about and funny at the same time. Great selection of beer . There were 4 of us and between us we had fish dishes ,chicken schnitzel, and Caesar salad . All really good . The building itself ( a couple years old I think) , was well thought out with great details finished off. Personally I liked the very high arched ceiling so as it became quite full ,noise didnt drown our conversation. Ill be back !

My first experience at Four Winds was great - the service, the ambience & the cocktails. I had a Caesar salad & fries, which the salad was bland & the fries were cold and didn t come with the malt vinegar aioli HOWEVER I was able to chalk this up to maybe a bad couple picks. I returned yesterday to try out the menu and unfortunately we were disappointed. The beer was inconsistently poured, either with too much or too little (or even no foam), which is disappointing given their claim to be using Czech pouring techniques that focuses on a lot of foam, as well as a full measure pour. Cocktails were good, though. The burrata was ok, nothing to write home about but the sourdough was burnt, which ruined the dish. The crab spaghettini was really good, however the chicken schnitzel was a flop!!!! Sesame seed baguette was closer to a sesame seed hot dog bun (which was burnt). The chicken was over done & dry and the fries were overly salted. werent even given a steak knife to cut the rather large sandwich :( Our server was really nice, but she often came to check on us before we actually had taken a bite or a sip, so we never had the chance at being honest about our dishes. I completely understand the restaurant is new, and everyone is still learning, but it was just a disappointment given the raving reviews so far! Beautiful ambience though, and really nice cocktail list.

From the friendly greeting to the fun and gracious service and tasty well prepared food we enjoyed all aspects of our dining experience. We tasted a couple different beers from a good selection and each of us (two people) had an entree. The price is about what you d expect (~$100) but you get so much value added with the excellent service and great setting. We already have plans to come back with friends. The most gorgeous brew pub Ive ever been to! Was a bit disappointed with the lack of vegan options compared to their Delta location. Id give a 5 if they had the same vegan impossible cheeseburger. The cauliflower steak was a delicious vegan entree, but was a typical entree created by a non vegan with almost no protein. Maybe crispy tofu instead of polenta with it? Id come back for the fantastic drinks and vibe but will wait on food until there are better vegan options. Beautiful place overall!

Opened about a month ago in this newly developing neighbourhood ... Four Winds Beach House & Brewery is the latest addition of a vibrant business in the community of Sunny Tsawwassen!! Openness is the feel you get ... from their house patio to their open dining area, you feel comfortable where ever you sit in this lovely space. Service is super friendly and we were lucky to be looked after by a Bartender turned Server for the Day his name is T and we totally enjoyed his friendliness and professional knowledge! Thanks again!! Fresh Oyster on half shell, Grilled Sourdough, Crispy Lager Ling Cod, Chicken Piccata and the super fresh Wedge Salad .. all the dishes were prepared with care and you can tell, the skills of the kitchen staff shines in all their creations! Local brew .. I had the Hüftgold a German Style Pilsner .. crisp & clean + a Pink Guava ( pale ale with pink guava .. goes well with fried foods! All in all, I am glad to see a local business being welcomed into this quaint neighbourhood and I am sure, I will be back to try out their other dishes too! ... already have 2 items in mind : )

This is an absolutely gorgeous establishment! However, our experiences were not so great. Our first experience we came during the first week of opening; completely forgot about our food. It was really busy so we assumed it was just slow, which we were okay with being new. We inquired after 45 minutes after we saw a table near us who ordered after us get food, the server said it was a glitch in the system that has been happening and that our order was not placed We ended up not eating that time. Didn t want to review especially with the opening week! We then went again hoping for a better experience. The food was great! But we definitely felt rushed and wanted us out the door. There were a lot of staff with not that many people so we felt her anxiousness for some reason. To top things off, it was a birthday reservation and unfortunately there was nothing special done We live locally so hoping to try again in a few months for a better experience.

We recently visited the Four Winds Beach House with our 2-year-old son and were deeply disappointed with our experience. Initially, we were seated at a small table next to a couple on an intimate date. To respect their privacy, we requested to be moved to an available table and were willing to wait for another option. Unfortunately, the response from a male manager was extremely discourteous. His attitude was both rude and dismissive. Despite my wifes attempt to address the uncomfortable nature of his tone, he disregarded her concerns and stated that no other tables were available. This was surprising because at 8pm on a Sunday the restaurant was only half-full and walk-in patrons were being seated at other tables. We understand establishments have reservations and they need to hold tables for those patrons but like I said, we were willing to wait. The situation worsened when the manager raised his voice and exhibited unprofessional behavior in front of other patrons, which further added to our discomfort. We made a quick decision to leave and not escalate the matter any further. My wife, visibly upset, was approached outside by a female manager named Jack, who had witnessed the incident. She was kind and apologetic, offering to seat us at a different table with a promise of no further interaction with the previous manager. However, by then, we had lost our confidence in the establishment. As locals of Tsawwassen, we were eager to support a new restaurant in our community but now have no intention of returning. We hope the owners will address these issues and reconsider their leadership team to ensure a more welcoming environment for future guests. For those planning to dine at Four Winds Beach House, we hope your experience is more positive than ours. Photos below were taken on arrival, entrance and patio.

This restaurant is going to require that you give it a large berth. I really hope somehow that it works out because the restaurant looks great. Our visit was not good unfortunately. The food was not great although the opening beet dish was actually quite wonderful, cocktails OK The larger plates however were off the charts not good. We had the schnitzel and the Bratwurst dish and both were poorly presented and very bland. I don t understand why Four Winds would take such a departure from what got them to this point in time in terms of the food?? Build on what you already established and expand on that. Do not trying to reinvent the wheel with food that is trying to be mainstream and yet very lacklustre. Unfortunately, the value just isn t here. I really don t want to see this restaurant fail because I think it could be great plus I live in Tsawwassen. I want to keep coming back?! However, with the current menu, I can t see myself coming back anytime soon.

What a wonderful place. This is my 3rd visit here in just a week. We came here last week with a friend and the food, service and surrounding blew us away. We came here again a few days later and there is obvious consistency in food and service. Today I stopped by again and had the best burger ever! When I took the first bite of their beach burger, it reminded me of the 2022 movie The Menu. In the movie there s a moment where the internationally know chef just wants to cook a great burger. The character played by Anna Taylor-Joy, tells the chef she wants a cheeseburger. He s thrilled to make something so simple and he allows her to leave the restaurant and to live (you must see the movie to understand. In any case as I thought about how delicious the burger was it made me think of the movie and how the burger was great enough to save a life! Highly recommended restaurant!

From the moment you step into Four Winds Beach House & Brewery, it s clear that this place is something special. Nestled in the heart of Tsawwassen s Southlands, it feels like a natural extension of the community, where every element, from the décor to the menu, has been crafted with care. The pricing is competitive, but the experience you get far exceeds what you d expect. Their French fries are the best in town made from local potatoes, rustic, crispy, and full of real potato flavour! Their beverage options are just as impressive. We ordered a spicy Margherita, refreshing and full of flavor, and a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine that was a hit with my friends visiting from Toronto. Of course, we couldn t leave without trying one of their house-made brews, and the Centennial IPA did not disappoint. The atmosphere is thoughtfully designed, with unique details that make the space feel personal and connected to its roots. Our server told us the bar top was made from seashells the owners children had collected, a small but touching gesture that ties into the family s story. We ve followed the owners for years, and seeing this dream realized is truly exciting for the community. As for the food, it s everything you d want in a beach house dining experience. We started with oysters, because what s more fitting? The Chicken Picatta was crispy, and paired with a fennel salad that was fresh and bright a beautiful contrast. The mussels were packed with flavor, and the crab spaghettini was another standout. Even the Wedge salad was a refreshing twist on a classic. The overall vibe is heightened by a playlist full of nostalgic, feel-good tracks that keep the energy up. The large communal patio table was full of strangers connecting over food and drinks, embodying the laid-back, welcoming spirit of the place. Four Winds Beach House & Brewery is an intentional project in every sense, and for those who appreciate the details, it s a must-visit for a shared meal or a few drinks in a vibrant, growing community.

I live very close to this new Four Winds Beach House & Brewery which is very convenient. That said, even if I didn t I would make the trek to get there from anywhere in Metro Vancouver. Things are getting well tuned now that they have been open for a few weeks. There is no question it has become a very popular spot. It can be very busy on weekends and I suggest you make a reservation when you are able to. I have had several items in my visits but the Double Stack Burger comes out as my favourite so far. An expected long beer list of all of your favourite Four Winds beers to choose from. You can grab beers to go from the onsite store and they also offer soft serve ice cream which is fabulous. If you don t drink beer no problem, the espresso martini is made with vodka, kahlua and stout and is totally amazing. They make a mean Margarita and have many other options to choose from. Don t miss out on this new gem in the Southlands development in Tsawwassen!

Let me start off with the fact that I was a patron of the River road location for the last few years and absolutely loved it. I literally cant say anything negative about my experience tonight. I was wary going at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night, but I felt with the festival going on it wouldnt be too busy and I was right it was just the perfect amount of patrons which allowed us to be seated immediately. The staff was friendly and upbeat the second we walked through the door and within 5 minutes we had a server at our table that had a great knowledge of the beer selection and helped me choose wisely. Both myself and my friend are vegetarians and we found a ton of options on the menu! I started with the sourdough bread with ricotta and garlic (holy Jesus next time I might just eat four plates of that) and then I followed up with the oyster mushroom po-boy with a side salad and let me just say Im an extremely picky person and this was delicious! My friend got two starters with the house made potato chips, delicious! She also got the hot oyster mushroom with honey. I think our favorite aspect that we kept talking about was the vibe. The whole ambiance of the place gives a very European brew house mixed with like a Swiss chalet. It seemed that whether it happened organically or done by the staff, all of the younger 20-somethings were sat in the large room area that has several huge tables (20+) to share or lounge like seats which just gave such a comfortable vibe and everybody seemed to be having a good time. Our area was more of the older crowd and families and we were quieter and we never heard the other side of the place and we could talk at a normal level and hear each other perfectly. The music was also a fantastic selection, I was so surprised to hear Portishead which is one of my favorite bands. The fact that its open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and I believe 11:00 the rest of the week is going to give a local option for those of us who dont get off work till later. All in all we had an absolutely fantastic experience and we will be back soon!

There was a great vibe in the impressive expansive beach house.. which is a soaring but comfortable space inside. The menu had many great selections, a lot of which featured locally grown/harvested ingredients. I ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich which was on a nice sesame sub-like bun. It was nicely presented and very tasty and was accompanied by my favourite Kennebec fries made from potatoes grown on-site at Southlands. Service was great relatively quick as the dinner crowd was starting to assemble. The Beach House burger was fine but I had ordered the Brewmaster burger which apparently the kitchen confused. Staff and management were very apologetic and comped that meal however, a nice ...and appropriate touch! Its so great to have this new spot open finally and no doubt it will be successful. Well be back soon to try dinner!

Amazing location! Beautiful atmosphere inside and out! The food took a while to get to us at lunch time. But the restaurant was packed and it was just day 7 of operations, I suspect theyll get faster as they go. The Golden Beet and Stone Fruit share plate was out of this world! Ill definitely go back!

Space 5/5 - Beautiful space; Great vibes; Note that they have Limited seating for large groups Beer 5/5 - I wish they had some brews limited to the location. Otherwise no complaints. Food 4/5 - The oyster po-boy was a bit meh. They use oyster mushrooms in place of actual oysters. All other dishes were solid (ling cod, salad, croquettes, clams) but dont expect to be blown away by the food. Service 4.5/5 - Service was prompt and the waitresses were all friendly; no complaints Overall a solid 4.5/5

Disappointing menu. Not too many options for vegetarians. We came once without reservation and they told us that they dont have enough food anymore. 2nd time we came with reservation and 3 items were sold out. Bad opening planning. Both our dishes were pretty small and costly. Will not come again anytime soon.

Finally! Was able to visit the beach house and was pleasantly surprised with the amazing patio and large interior. Had the Oyster mushroom appy and loved the creative flavours. Oyster platter and both mussel dishes also very good. Thanks for bringing such a good vibe to the community.

Very pretty location on a sunny weekend day! All the food we ordered was above and beyond our expectation, the beer was of course great and the service was really lovely as well. Will be returning! Worth the drive out from central Vancouver.

Don t bother reserving, I did and they had given all the nice tables to walk ins first come first serve. Also if you like salad be careful, the beet and stone fruit salad was pretty odd, just cut up nectarine, a small amount of beet and sauce on bed of cream cheese, no lettuce or veg!

Absolutely a place to go. Lots of space with a huge bar area. Food is average if not nearly top level. There is something for everyone on the menu and its so good whatever you take choose the right fresh beer from the tub, served European style with lots of foam. This spot is a must place to go

As locals to Boundary Bay and big fans of Four Winds for years, my husband and I were really hoping to enjoy this spot. For context, we have been a few times since opening and have tried multiple menu items. The good: The spot is cute and clean and staff are friendly. The beer is good and as expected. If you live in the Bay, this is convenient. The needs improvement: the menu has very few options for people with intolerances or dietary restrictions; portions are incredibly small - we didn t expect US sizes but WOW talk about tiny portions for even the large plates ; most staff are new to service and don t know how to pour a beer properly - way too much head which results in glasses that are only 3/4 full; given portion sizes and quality/flavour, prices are expensive and way above local comps; they seem to run out of menu items and beers so that s disappointing. Overall, this is a good local spot to have a Four Winds favourite brew but don t expect much for lunch or dinner. I hope they update their menu to better reflect beach fare and the locale, and please get some better GF and casual options!

I like four winds but the menu was limited and small portions. Beer was out of what I wanted, so menu isn t up to date. Will happily try again but fool me once shame on me, fool me twice you get one more chance I ve never seen it packed driving by or while siting. Hope for success. Reservations? Hope this becomes a more accessible local location. With more relaxed food like the Tilbury location.

My experience at the beach house certainly exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Hot oyster mushrooms, the fried olives and the Dungeness crab spaghettini Beautiful decor and a lively energy made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I m so happy to have this new addition to Tsawwassen! Can t wait to visit again soon!

Super super super disappointed. Beer is undersized and head either too little or too much. The schnitzel was dry as bone! Both sourdough and baguette were both so burnt black crumbs were left of my fingertips. Low quality ingredients and zero consistency. Won t come back for the beer nor food! It gets a 1 star for the ambience, I guess
