Our server Raeburn was great! Super fun night out, excellent food!

Went for lunch on a weekday at the Delta location. There were six of us and one couple was late due to traffic. Our server Donna was understanding and kept us refilled with our beverages until our friends arrived. Donna took our orders promptly and was outgoing and friendly. The food arrived promptly and was hot so it did not sit in the kitchen waiting to be picked up. The menu was varied and anyone should be able to find something they like. Food was delicious and at a good price point We will return and hope to get Donna as our server again

I came here around noon, on a Monday, wasn t super busy. Service was lovely, however I ordered the Mac n cheese and some calamari and the Mac was so salty it was almost inedible, also luke warm, and the calamari wasn t hot either. I will probably not be coming here again.

Mediocre. The food was luke warm. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich needed any spice at all. No water was served. Had to go to the front to pay our bill.

Excellent everything including clean washrooms. Used the 2 for 1 meal coupon. Server Donna W. provided excellent customer service.Also I purchased their $50 gift card with free $10 bonus card for January/february next year .

I hate leaving negative reviews but I am so disappointed with tonights visit to the restaurant. We popped by tonight for dinner, to be told there an hour wait - which we definitely did not expect on a Wednesday night - not the end of the world. We managed to kill some time and came back to the restaurant at about 45 minutes into the wait time. When my boyfriend received the notification that our table was ready (about an hour in) we approached the hostess stand only to be told someone else was seated with his reservation. Once we were later seated our order was taken promptly, drinks were quick to arrive. However, shortly after, we were approached by our waitress to let us know that the kitchen was behind. An hour later we finally received our food. The staff that we dealt with were great, however we werent overly thrilled to have such a long wait for dinner, especially when the restaurant was less than half filled.

We have had many positive experiences since this amazing establishment opened! All the staff is outstanding...cheers to all of them from the hostesses, waitress/waitors, kitchen staff, to the bartenders and even managers!. My husband and I, as locals in Delta/Ladner, will frequently come to Match not only for the food and friendly hospitality, but for also having a top notch facility locally (Casino/Spa/Rest) being a short drive away! Shout out to Donna, Raeburn, Arlyn, and Shar, and I know I have missed a bunch of names... but hats off to all of you for your kindness and excellence service!

Ate here on a Monday night around 8pm. Place was pretty empty. Service was not great - no one refilled my drink or noticed we were done eating to give us our check. Looked like the place was understaffed. My sliders were overly salty and dry. Decor was nice and updated, loved the booths. Please staff this place more appropriately.

Char had been our bartender/server a few times and she is the Best!! All our groups have been well taken care of and felt right at home. She is a trite gem. This Match is great, all the staff have been very good to us. Check out the bud room if you re looking to host a party. Thanks Char and team.

My favourite spot in Ladner! Great food with seasonal menu additions throughout the year. The summer BBQ promotion is top notch. Fabulous service with friendly staff. Shoutout to Raeburn! Ive also come here with a friend who has dietary restrictions and the staff here were very accomodating with how they prepared his meal for him. Always a great experience to come here to dine and to play! Dietary restrictions: Someone I come here with has stomach problems and cant have any spice/garlic. The kitchen here makes specially customized dishes for him that dont have the ingredients that cause his issues and they have always been happy to do so.

I had a serrated shrimp shell claw thingy become lodged into the roof of my mouth while eating my shrimp pasta. Was just happy it didn t make it down my throat The server was an older lady and im not sure if she was just tired but the service was so slow and she seemed a little neglectful and temperamental.

We had a great first time at Match on Friday night. Our server Donna was very friendly and accommodating. Any restaurant that serves kids first is a green flag for me! We had the fish tacos, steak and fries, dry ribs and kids chicken strips. All of it super yummy! Will be back again soon.

The Green Goddess Salad was very bad. The dressing was bland, veggies were soggy and the chicken seemed liked it was cooked many days ago. I could not eat it.

Such a lovely evening sitting out on the patio. Happy hour half-price wine on any selection was a fabulous surprise. Appetizers were delicious as was dinner. Wish I lived closer. I am from Alberta but next time I am in town I will be back.

I tried the brisket sandwich special & I miss Hub restaurant in New West even more. Please, if you re going to do smoked meat get the former Hub chef!

Our server Arlyn was amazing. Her professionalism and service was 100% on point and she was a very personable. The atmosphere was great. The wait times were ridiculous to get a table, half the restaurant was empty and we had to wait 30 mins. Huge sign off the highway to come enjoy the patio but not enough servers to support the business, not the servers fault, seems like corporate needs to participate more to fix the staffing challenges. Servers work very hard and are super friendly. Food was good for the most part but the calamari was terrible. Definitely need to remove that item from the menu or make it a lot better. Can t compliment Arlyn and the other servers enough, they really take pride in their work.

If it werent the only thing open, we wouldnt have gone.

Had a bbq beef brisket sandwich today the amount of meat was adequate but the meat was overcooked and dry I asked for BBQ sauce and they charged a dollar for 1 ounce of sauce that should have come with the sandwich to start !

Food was not great: obviously from frozen, shrimp were deeply fried with little shrimp inside, lots of batter. Nachos were terrible: worst than ones at movie theatre, not crisp, not fresh with cheap « cheez whiz » type cheese.

I hosted my 30 birthday in the Budweiser room. Our server taking care of the event Char was amazing! Very attentive and for having a bigger party in there she did not miss a beat! Karen the manager also very helpful with checking in periodically, excellent customer service! Will come back for more events with out a doubt.

Disappointed isn t strong enough a word. Shocked and appalled just about does it. Having ordered many meals for kids and off the kids menu at the typical $10 to $14 I ve never seen a smaller hamburger. It should not be allowed to be called that. It was half the size of a McDonald s cheeseburger! My daughter was shocked and we ended up having to order more food from elsewhere. The regular pizza tasted like it had been rolled in salt and and the Thai peanut chicken had zero peanut flavour! Basically lettuce and cold chicken. The kids pizza was like paper and no usual side of fries. Terrible, just terrible. Ordered July 19 2024 Kid-friendliness: Not at all.

The food is quite good, and they have a great happy hour offer. Additionally, there are plenty of parking spots available, making it very convenient. There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant, which is very convenient.

First thing our server Donna was amazing! I ordered dirty fries and was disappointed to hear Match has taken it off the menu. Imagine my surprise when my meal showed up with a side of dirty fries Donna convinced the kitchen to make for me. This simple gesture was everything!

Just wanted to say that I went back to match again tonight with a few friends that on the patio which is Beautiful by the way. But I was telling the people about the new gin and tonics so we ordered one it was terrible it was missing half the ingredients I have to go back in and give it back to them that was this evening we were there for a few hours. I find it hard ordering from the new menu because the consistency is terrible. Its probably the lack of training with the bar staff. Thats my only two bits other than that the foods delicious. I just wish they could get the menu right with the drinks.

My friends and I, like coming to the Match Eatery at Delta Casino, for its food, ambiance and staff and are usually served by Donna, but yesterday we met Raeburn and he was such a pleasure. My friend had asked that his The Works Steak Sandwich be cooked medium rare and Raeburn came to tell us that there would be a slight delay as he had asked the kitchen to remake it as the steak was obviously on the well done side. When it came, it was cooked as requested and delicious. My Ultimate Club sandwich was prepared as I had asked. We also like to try out new menu items and the garlic parmesan fries were so amazing and hot and crispy and garlicky that we had to have another order. Also liked the Crispy Southern Hand pies which were peach-mango. The one thing that needs work is the coffee, which is really not that great and we have found this to be the case at most local casinos. Donna also popped in to say hi to us and to our friend whom we were Whats Apping with and whom she had met the last time he was in town. Cant wait to be back!

Terrible food terrible service

Was here for a large company supper. Food and drinks were excellent. But Rayburn, Sam and Char ones that shined. Without their care and attention to such a large group with quick service despite such a high demand the experience would have fell flat. Honestly cannot say enough about Char tastey beverages and Rayburn and Sam working so hard to serve so many. 10/10 will be back again and hopefully one of these 3 are working.

Had a great work lunch there last week. The real star though was our server, Rayburn, who was lovely! Great service, excellent recommendations, and an overall fantastic experience. Thank you to all the staff who make it a great place to visit - and kudos to Rayburn whose customer service was outstanding. Vegetarian options: Had the veggie burger. It was great but I d order it with the brioche bun next time instead of the multigrain one. :-)

We had Raeburn as our server today, it s not often you get a server like him nowadays. He s incredibly personable, and made our somewhat gloomy day really enjoyable and made us laugh. First time in a Match Eatery and we enjoyed our visit for the most part. My salt & pepper wings perfectly crispy, salted but no pepper. My fiancée enjoyed the fresh tasting, well seasoned halibut tacos. The service was a bit slow, but our waiter was nice enough. What I love about this eatery, is that it was not noisy. (Good acoustics) music was playing and a larger party next to us and we could not really hear them. Noise can be a bit of a problem in some restaurants but we appreciated our visit here and will likely return. Ms. Fancy Google Reviewer 8 million + picture views

Second time here. First time was on opening day, which wasn t very good. We were seated promptly and the food arrived in a timely manner, but I think that was because the buffet wasn t open yet. Both Matches and The Buffet share the same kitchen. My burger was OK, but my fries were like the bottom of the barrel. Tiny little pieces. The table next to us had $10 Sunday pizzas, which I would have ordered if I had known. No one mentioned the HAPPY HOUR or the SPECIALS available. Seems like there are still some issues to work out.

We host our work events here and its amazing

Food is great, once they get it correct on the second or third try. This has happened over three times in the past year. And is ridiculous. And maybe worry about updating your website prior to telling a customer we dont do this or that after getting the food.

Really bad service , didn t bother to fill our drinks, gave us wrong order , and no apologies from this server wearing an NFL shirt on Sunday night . Unfriendly Made this experience really bad. I asked for warm water and she said they only have hot. Really? How lazy , your other servers gladly obliged. Previous times were here was great. Match-please don t hire servers who are lazy and teach them courtesy when they converse with customers

Had an amazing time in the bud room this past weekend. Shar and her team kept everyone fully stocked with food and drink and no wait time at all. Hundred percent coming back for my bday in the summer if I can get the same server!

On January 31st, we had a table for 2 reserved for 5:00pm. We counted no fewer than 5 servers milling around us. It was near 30minutes since being seated, without a greeting from any server. We then complained to the hostess who sat us at our booth the 1/2 hour prior and she was stunned. They then carelessly brought us the wrong food-- Fish instead of chicken. No apology nor break in our bill for the poor service. Whats the point in making reservations at your eatery if your servers wait almost 1/2 hour to show up at your table? Thumbs down all the way and yes we did do your invite for the post survey for wasting our time.

Raeburn and Char are the benchmark of why you choose to return to a location repeatedly. The service was nothing less than exceptional over the course of my 19 day stay here; the staff had no idea I was staying onsite for three weeks. The food was consistently flavorful and the atmosphere was welcoming and the staff friendly and attentive. If you love sports: there s always something on the thirteen tvs s. Have to wait for the traffic to subside going through the George Massey runner: stop in for bite and keep an eye on the traffic to find the perfect time to head home if you live North. Ask for Connelly and Jaedyn at the bar and you will not be disappointed.

Decent food during dine out Vancouver event. Slow service and didnt get offered drink refill. Had to get another server to get the bill.

Had an excellent date night outing at Match on Saturday night. The wait wasn t long at all, and the atmosphere was nice and comfortable, not too noisy. Service was prompt and super friendly, and food came within a reasonable time considering how busy they were. We had the sliders, the match burger and the seared ahi tuna bowl. All three dishes were exceptional, and really hit the spot. I definitely recommend the sliders!! The management were very attentive and did not make us wait for anything, especially Robert. He made sure we were well taken care of! All in all a great experience, we will definitely be back.

The most outstanding feature of our visit was our server Samantha W. This was our first time and found her not only personable but knowledgeable regarding the drinks and the menu. There was four of us to start and our other two were delayed but Samantha brought our drinks and kept checking back. It was a birthday celebration so bringing a dessert was a pleasant suprise to top our evening. Kudos to Samantha who is a plus for your establishment. Well be back! First time at this restaurant & I probably ordered the wrong menu item. If I have eaten 20 burgers this year (my favorite restaurant food) this burger & fries was not that good. The dirty fries would have been better if the fries were hot & fresh. Probably wont eat here again. The outside patio and the pool table room looked amazing. Walked through the Match buffet & atmosphere was cafeteria style noisy & would not eat there even with todays 2 for 1 coupon.

Our 1st trip here was not very good. However, the service manager provided us with gift certificates to come back. Thankfully, we did come back and what a completely different experience. Our server (Rayburn) was warm, welcoming and very attentive. He went above and beyond. The service manager (Kelly) was also very hospitable and I saw him working as hard as the servers, making sure food got to the tables hot and was making sure everyone was enjoying their dinners/drinks. I would definitely recommend Match as a great place for food at very reasonable prices, not to mention their happy hour specials are best in the area!

I don t usually like to comment on the service, but we left dissatisfied tonight. The server never came by to refill our waters, she offered my gfs pop refill when we were paying for the bill and charged us for the hot sauce that was supposed to come with the hot wings we ordered.

Delicious food and I think I would have been happy with anything on the menu. Rayburn was our server and a total delight. Engaging, friendly, big smile help lifts the mood of a room. The mini hop burgers appetizer hits way above its weight class in terms of flavour and being fun to eat.

That was the biggest waste of money I ve ever had to put forward for a meal. My waitress was a miserable mess for the best use of words. The meal was beyond sub par, my chicken was unseasoned, my ribs were dry and my fries were 300% overcooked. Not worth the time. Terrible experience
