OK but not amazing - The Steak sandwich is good - The Beef Dip defiantly shrank down from a sandwich bun sized to a dinner bun in the past year Staff is nice but the wait staff wear way to much perfume - Its off putting - Please lay off on the scents!!!! Food

Disappointing service on entry, bordering on rude. Told to go seat ourselves at the pub patio when the restaurant patio was 80% open. If you don t want repeat customers this is definitely the way to run your business.

Service didn t exist and the workers definitely don t enjoy working there lol. They couldn t care less. Food was so mid and the only edible thing was their deep fried stuff. Seafood pasta was gross. Not fresh. Watery. Had a bad smell and aftertaste. Area wasn t really clean and I probably will never go there again. Calamari was overpriced and not even worth. If you re already sitting and reading reviews I recommend getting the fish and chips and that s about it.

There were 10 of us for dinner and our waitress did a really good job taking care of us. The food was delicious!

Excellent location, on the river, stunning sunset views to enjoy your dinner. Dine outside on deck, or inside in a cozy atmosphere. Food is really amazing and delicious. Good menu selections. Reasonably priced. Excellent wine bottle prices. And, on River Nights wine bottles 1/2 price, with a great Chief Special dinner ($20) Monday to Wednesday. Always a Chef special menu every day with select items. Staff are excellent and attentive. All around an excellent place to go if youre a party of 2 or 20. One of our favorite places in Ladner. Try it, you will like it.

Sitting on the patio in the summer is amazing! Love this location, its quiet, cool building, sweet patio, and really good food. We ordered off the Happy/Appy Hour menu so our bill was pretty cheap. It will be one of my go to places!

Party of 6 seated right away with no reservation. No server for at least 10 minutes. Service throughout was spotty, no dinner check long waits. My wife had the sirloin Oscar and it was fantastic, I had the beef dip and it was ok the dip was flavourless. Fries were awesome. We left by 8pm and were the only people in the place. Nice view.

Drove like 1.5 hrs to get here. Happy hour food was alright the seafood linguine was bad. Pasta and calamari was bland and over priced. The curly fries were good though and the cod was pretty good as well. Service was pretty much non existent even though it wasn t busy. The seafood linguine was super watery, not fresh and had a bad aftertaste. The only reason I m not giving 1 star is because the Asian server was super chill and nice but she wasn t our main server.

I brought my family here with my aunt. We sat outside and the view of the boats was fantastic. They accommodated the 7 of us on the patio against their standard max of 6 thanks to our wonderful server Neil. Our order, as is the case with picky kids, was quite complicated and everything came out as ordered. The kids enjoyed the butter / parm pasta and salmon. The steak sandwich and pulled pork were both very good and I would highly recommend the wings I had. I didn t find the Cajun chicken sandwich great as the chicken was dry and it lacked flavour however it s possible my carnivore tendency of removing the veggies was part of the issue. The fries were a hit and they even made a poutine for my 3 year old. I also ordered a non-refillable peach lemonade that was delicious, however considering half of the glass is ice, I don t think allowing a couple complimentary refills would be too punitive to the restaurant s bottom line. All in all an enjoyable experience and likely somewhere we would revisit given its kid friendliness (kids menu, $12 with good options and add-ons available, high chairs) and the excellence of the wait staff. Total bill including tip was about $200. $65 for the 4 kids (4 kids meals + poutine, salmon was additional $6), 3 entrees and an appetizer plus a couple drinks. ($90) and a tip. Parking: There was good parking on a slow night. It may be worse if busier. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with kids menus and high chairs. Kid safe glasses with a strawed lid as .

The riverfront patio was great. Cod and chips were great for lunch and service was excellent.

Great hidden spot with amazing patio views. Really enjoyed their seafood salad and spinach dip. Overall a hidden gem that the locals go to.

First visit to the RiverHouse and I was impressed. We sat on the pub side outside which was gorgeous and not too hot. Our server she was excellent. 3 guests had brunch eggs Benny, omelette,and eggs and bacon Everyone said it was very good. I chose the fish & chips which were one one best I have had and chose the curly fries. We live in Vancouver and it was definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend.

The food was okay but the service was horrible. We were the first ones in the restaurant but last to leave. The waitress pretty much forced us to pay tip, she was extremely rude. Definitely not ever going there again

I have no idea how I just found out about this place yesterday but I did. What a pleasant discovery. The food is delicious here. I ended up ordering the Thai curry muscle pot and the tuna poke. Both were amazing. I was still kind of hungry when I left but gonna lie. Portions are not huge. They are very tasty though so it s still definitely worth it. I will be back without a doubt. The server was great and the view of the river is also nice to sit and enjoy.

My go to Pub in Ladner etc. I love this place especially when it is a dark and wet day or night. Wanted to come here with my mother-in-law wife and one of her granddaughters but unlike a lot of pubs they dont accept any minors. We sat on the restaurant side but I wouldnt do that again. Not the same. I do think they should amend their policy on this.

I think the service was great but would have appreciated if we were told in advance that a 20% service fee would automatically be added to our bill for a party of 8. We came here for the Mothers Day brunch. The set up was terrible where there was just one way in and out in a little area to get food and back to our table inside. Selection of food was small.

A very nice restaurant by a river, with some great food and cocktails! Theyve got plenty of seafood options here, along with many handheld items. It is kind of out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend their prawns flatbread :)

This is my favorite place to sit with my wife for any occasion. Its a long way from Abbotsford but any time we are in Vancouver we will take the long way home and enjoy an Original 16 Copper ale, and some food. Water view. Boats we would never own but enjoy seeing. Original 16 Copper is my favorite beer.

Classic restaurant with an uplifting atmosphere. With such friendly staff and beautiful views of the water results in a very pleasurable experience. The food was perfect, definitely will be returning here in the summer.

Food quality n taste fell waaaay short of expectations. Freshness, presentation, flavour not there. Great location but considerably a disappointing experience. The waitress while pleasant, she was sloppy and came across as imprudent in her service delivery. Not a repeat in the near future, unfortunately. Had the jumbo prawns, salmon entrée, clam chowder, chicken wings, spinach dip. All overpriced, tbh. Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome

Restaurant is a little dated. Great location right beside the water and marine view. The Beef Dip was perfect for lunch. Service was efficient and friendly.

A local legend on the water in Ladner. Great patio on both the Pub side and the Restaurant side. Decent happy hour menu and great food regardless of price. Highly recommend this place for brunch or dinner anytime

Always a pleasure to dine in here! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I always order the same thing (chicken and chorizo penne) and it never disappoints! I will regularly go here for my lunch break and I encourage/recommend all my friends and everyone else to as well!

Food was typical pub food, but the service was amazing

Whoa - not too sure what happened here tonight. We have been coming here for years and have absolutely loved the place. Tonight, the tuna burger and bacon cheddar burgers were just about inedible. We couldnt finish them - they were horrible. Is this just a one off with a chef having a bad night?

First time there. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. I had the seafood club sandwich with fries ... fantastic! Will be back next time I travel to BC.

An excellently located place. We had a patio reservation for 6 couples +1 single. They do not have a large enough table nor would they allow a joining of tables. This we had a split seating - wives on one and spouses on the other table. Certainly not comfortable and did not enjoy as much. If they did not have a large enough table outside, they could have told us in advance and we could have made an informed decision if we wanted to come or wanted to sit inside (where they had larger seating tables). The waitress did have a challenge on her hand during billing and we all got mixed bills. No idea why, maybe due to the confused state of seating, the waitress was curt and there did not seem to be any warmth in the way we were greeted or while serving. Food was just ok. Yam fries were OK, chicken penne 3/5, fish and fries (4/5). Dont know what the other table ordered! Location 5/5. And weather was great too.

Ordered the Cod and Chips. Chips were average and the fish was terrible. I was told that they are 3oz pieces(very thinly cut) dried out. It was like eating cardboard. $22 is to much money for what you get. Very Disappointed.

My husband and I met here for lunch on a sunny day and it was perfect. We sat on the beautiful porch, overlooking a small marina, and had a great lunch. Our waitress was really friendly, helpful and attentive and the food and drinks were excellent. After lunch, we walked along the pretty pathway that surrounds the property. A great spot for lunch or dinner!

The tuna poke appy was perfect for a sunny day on the patio overlooking the marina. Highly recommended.

Sat for literally over 25 mins and no waitress even acknowledged us sitting there. Not even busy. Watched 2 waitresses chit chatting directly in front of our table still no one looked at our table. Has to get up and leave, staff didn t seem to care.

Sat down for 25 minutes before our waiter came. Claimed it was busy when most of the tables were empty. Food was pretty good but whole experience was ruined by literally only seeing him twice the entire time. He even said one of the times how he had barely seen us but wasn t apologetic at all. Waited another 25 minutes after eating for the bill which we had to beg the host for. Decided to not tip for literally not getting any service and this man had the audacity to say wow no tip?!! He literally admitted that he barely saw us and was baffled when we decided not to tip? Tips are earned not given. Will not be returning. Please give your older waiter more training and a lesson in human decency. This was by far my worst experience in a restaurant.

I went on a Friday night a couple weeks ago and it s easy to say that the only redeeming thing about this place is that the food is good. And even that I rated low due to what I witnessed. I witnessed staff being harassed by customers only to have the management of this establishment ignore it. I watched a waitress get groped due to the managers not cutting off people who are clearly intoxicated. Customers are let to do whatever they want with little consequence as long as they re regulars or paying enough . The ethics in this place are disgusting and the way management allows staff to be treated is despicable. I watched some of the older waitresses who d clearly worked here for a while, Drinking while working. Also watched very clearly intoxicated people get into their vehicles after staff didn t cut them off. Overall gave the experience of a very poorly managed and cared for establishment. Upon leaving I saw that waitress who was assaulted outside crying. To which I was told the managers do nothing to assist them and the order staff members tell them to get used to it. Don t expect to ever return, maybe in a few months due to the food being good or just to see if management had bothered to do better by their workers. I also don t really see this happening as usually when a work place is like this, it doesn t change till management does. Do better. Or just go out of business. For everyones sake.

I am often a customer of the River House. The food is consistent and really good. The staff are courteous and professional. The establishment sits in a cozy nook on the river and is comfy in bad weather and provides a fabulous outside deck in the Summer early Fall.

One of my favorite spots in Ladner. Service is amazing, food is delicious and the patio is my favorite in all of South Delta. Management does a extremely great job in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. They treat the regulars like family. Happy hr is one of my favorites. Great prices!

I recently had occasion to host a Celebration of Life for my Son at which there were 50+ people in attendance. I commend management and staff for how competent, friendly and professional they were. Also I would like to commend the kitchen staff. The food was excellent and was ready when needed. Thank you RiverHouse for making a difficult day much easier.

Went for the first time for my moms birthday. Our server was wonderful, went out of her way to take some photos, and offered complimentary dessert to my mom. The pulled pork skillet was amazing!! Cant wait to go back.

7pm Sat. Wife & Son had seafood pasta . I had the lamb shank. Food arrived super quick & was excellent as was service. Well be back!!
