11184 84 Ave, Delta, BC V4C 2K4, Canada
Unfussy spot for Vietnamese eats, including spring rolls, vermicelli noodles & its namesake soup.
Front staff were absolutely awful to deal with, refused to provide any information on allergens in the dishes, infact at one point said they and the kitchen staff had no idea what ingredients were in the food. Asked for a manager or owner, she refused to provide a contact number and instead suggested I eat somewhere else and call back at a later time to see if the manager was in then. Would NEVER trust this restaurant to eat at or spend a dollar of my money.
rare steak, beef brisket, tendon, tripe beef noodle soup (15.99) / rare steak, tripe, beef brisket, tendon satay noodle soup (16.99) / butter deep fried chicken wings (14.5)
sadly we had to wait for a very looooong time for our food. there were only a few other diners in the restaurant and only one server who looked a bit frantic. when the meals did arrive - they were dropped at the end of the table for us to figure who’s was who’s. i did see a number of to-go orders leave and can only speculate they were filling delivery orders and not attending to their in real life customers!!!! i ordered the chicken sub. it was the last to come and not until we reminded the server we were missing 3 of our meals. i took mine to go. now i bite into an extremely disappointing cold cut sub with dry bread. sad.
Best pho in North Delta! Tucked away in the corner of the shopping complex so it can be hard to miss. But once you have had one of these amazing dishes, trust me, you'll never go anywhere else! Food comes quickly and it never dissapoints! Good sized portions for your money too! Whether it's pho, chow mein, or a simple vermicelli bowl, it's all delicious!
Been going here for more than 20 years, I heard it was operating under a new owner last year. We've been going here a couple of times, food is still good. Deep fried wonton is still my favorite, pho is still decent. Price has gone up by double though, and I'm not too sure how to feel about it. Decent food and good service, might be the last time we come here.
Updated again May 2023: Kids treated us to a Mother’s Day lunch and food, portions and service were very good. We ordered vegan as well as non-vegan entrees (see pics). Only observation to note is that peanut sauce for the salad rolls wasn’t very peanuty flavoured. Based on today’s meal, I am bumping my rating up to 4.5. Update Jan 2023 **bumping rating from 1 star to 3.5: Gave this long time ND local Vietnamese Restaurant another go after an ownership change last year. One of the owners was behind the counter tonight, very friendly and his partner Leslie, in the kitchen owns a Vanc. restaurant. Our server was pleasant, albeit some confusion with our order, also due to our unfamiliarity with the menu. We ordered the House Special Phò (L) $16.99, Deep fried Spring Rolls (2 to an order, $2.50 ea), Assorted Seafood Wonton and BBQ Pork with Noodles (S) $16.99, Deep Fried Rice Paper Spring Roll $4.50 and a Lemongrass Bahn Mi $8.75 to-go. The soups were hot (as they should be), the DF Rice Paper Roll was greasy tasting and I didn’t care for it but everything else was good. Make sure you ask for the chili oil, it’s bomb and a tasty condiment with soup and noodles. My previous bad experiences were with dayshift employees so I hope the new management has corrected that. Update Jan 2022: Went with friends for lunch to see if the poor service from hired staff had changed at all. Unfortunately it had not, food is plunked on the corner of the table without any acknowledgement. Nobody came back to check on tea/water refills. Requested the bill and same. Food was ok but the service leaves a bad taste in the mouth and doesn’t warrant a return IMO. Doesn’t seem to affect the local customer loyalty though as it’s been this way for years. Demoting to 1 star. Got take out beef noodle bowl (Phō)- large #6 well done brisket and skirt flank-$10.99. Soup was very hot but not as flavourful as Phō99 which is our go-to, but closed. Comes with generous portion of beef and the usual sprouts, cilanto, lime, basil, jalapeño and hoisin sauce. Hadn’t been for couple years, while the owners are very nice, friendly people, the servers have not always been very attentive (to the point of being rude) in the past. The food has always been quite good though. Located in a strip mall with a variety of businesses and ample parking.
Awesome food, big portions. We frequent this place despite poor customer service because of the food. Their pho is by far the best I've had in the lower mainland. Perfect balance ir flavours and aroma and generous portions. Customer service is pretty average, kinda makes you feel like you are in Asia. The staff are neither polite nor friendly or will crack a smile but they are fast and efficient.
I am very loyal to my usual spot but after seeing the reviews we decided to give it a try. I had the small #12 with the rare beef on the side. I am happy to announce that I was not disappointed!! Priced as usually for this type of dish. This is a great place and the lady who served us was quick but friendly. My only critique would be for them to offer water when you get there as we were only provided with the tea. Tea is nice but I enjoy ice water when I have spicy phò. We will definitely be back as it's so close to our home 😊🍲👌🏼 Cheers to a great phò!
Vegetarian options: Yes Food
I believe Stanleys must have sold in the past few months because the food is not what it was for 20 years or more. The house special pho beef soup was my go to choice, but the last 2 visits the meals were so bad we just threw them put and made soup and sandwiches instead, wish we would had made the sandwiches first and saved the money.
Large size is the same as small in most other Pho restaurants
Should have asked the name of the guy who helped me order got my first ever pho today spicy chicken pho was great thanks!
When I worked in Delta I used to come here between 2-5 times a week. Ridiculous I know, but unfortunately the new owners have changed things and this place just doesnt taste the same. The 16, was one of my favorites and everything about it looked and tasted different, not sure why youd change tried and true recipes of things on the menu, this place used to be so busy. Like every table taken at lunch and dinner, prices have gone up and thats just a sign of the times, but the last few times I came in it just didnt hit the same and didnt feel worth my money. Used to be such a gem, its unfortunate what has happened.
been coming here for years the wonton soup is my favourite, very friendly staff always smiling :)
Broth was good, rare beef was chewier then I like Peanut sauce was one of the best Ive ever had. So good
I went for Chicken Noodle Soup. It was good. Price was okay. Nice to have a pho restaurant close to the home.
This was excellent! I had the seafood won ton soup & my friend had the rare beef Pho. Both of us really enjoyed our meals! The waitress was lovely, the restaurant itself was spotless clean! Nice job Pho Stanley! We ll be back soon!
Server forgot items. No one really in there and still service was subpar. Hair in food. Will never go back.
I come here to eat often, I have never been disappointed with the food here, it is really delicious lemongrass chicken on rice was juicy and flavourful, pho, salad rolls and spring rolls are really great, the restaurant was clean and the waitres so nice, This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I have eaten at in BC that feels authentic.
Will be back soon it was very great food
Me and my boyfriend were in the area so we thought we d give this place a try. I ordered the bun bo hue(spicy beef noodle soup) It tastes like regular pho with sate. Not aunthenic at all. My bf ordered the rice dish with pork chop/chicken. It was decent. When my bf went up to pay at the cashier and looked at our bill. We were CHARGED for spring rolls that we NEVER ordered. Wasn t a good experience. We won t be coming back.
Must be new owners as the place is not good anymore. Did not even get the order right and when told didnt even ask what they forgot. Very much dossapointed as Stanleys used to be a great place to go with the kids.
Due to their lack of business ethics and scam tactics, please don t support them. (read further below) They gave us a menu priced differently for us to order, and when we were ready to pay, they marked up 20% more at the till. Dine in for 2. Ordered 2 large pho, menu priced $13.50 each, when we paid they billed $15.99 each. 1 appetizer menu priced $4.99, but bill receipt with $5.99. Another appetizer $10.99 on menu we ordered from, bill receipt asked for $12.50. They didn t say anything or bother to mention price discrepancy the entire 2+hours we were there. Not at the time we ordered nor when they brought up the dishes. (Store not busy, staffs sitting around barely working.) Not sure what kind of businessman operates such trickery sneaky approach. Portion shrunk. Food quality also gone down. The store was dead. Hardly any customers walked in. I bet that must be the reason. Response to owner: inflation 5-7%. Your business inflation 20% towards your new & returning customers not sure if this type of business worth your customer s support.
Excellent food. Very slow service. If you get the chicken dumplings...FYI...you get 5 peices for $14.50. Not worth it. Food
Terrible service, we waited 45 minutes for our food and the server didn t even bother to give the food to us directly, he just left it on the side of the table. other people hadn t even ordered yet, and some people even decided to walk out. they said the tv s didn t work even though they actually did, and it took 10 minutes just to get a takeout box because our food took so long to come. horrible experience.
Only pho spot close to me so I came here to try it out its actually the most expensive pho place Ive ever been Food was good Bit to expensive to be a regular thing
Highly recommend all dishes, great comfortable atmosphere, good food, and nice wait staff. Loved eating here!
Really good Pho, kind server whos leaving in February. I highly recommend.
Very good pho. We always order the salad roll too! The curry is also very good! Better than a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Richmond and Vancouver! Definitely recommend!
great food and service!
I came here with a group of four friends. All of our food was great and the service was quick. Staff is super friendly.
Im not sure if its new owners or management, but the menu and food are different. It used to be my favourite pho place. Not anymore.
For the increased price of the menu, we were very surprised to see that we were given only a half order of meat compared to what we previously had got from there. We ordered menu item 41 and received only half a pork cutlet per meal.
It s been a while since our last visit. There seems to have been a change in ownership. The menu prices have increased perhaps due to increased fuel costs, etc. The food was lukewarm and would ve tasted better hot. We ordered the wonton noodle soup and charbroiled pork brochette with vermicelli noodles. The wonton noodle soup broth and wontons were lukewarm. The broth tasted a bit off/stale. The noodles were clumped together like they weren t boiled properly. The pork brochette tasted good but the pork was lukewarm. The servers and cashier were very kind and friendly, asking how the food was. Since the food quality isn t their fault, we didn t share how we actually felt about the food. This was a family favourite spot and quite popular with the locals, so we hope the food quality can improve.
Great soups, plus there are TVs with the games on.
Broth tasted full of salt and artificial seasonings rather than a clean beef broth enhanced by Vietnamese flavors. Small portions and expensive.
Great food good service . Large selection of menu items. You can go and eat something new evertime. More people need to go to the Pho Stanley We went back a couple of days ago Best won ton soup This restaurant should have line ups to get in
My partner and I dont eat much per meal but didnt feel filled up by ordering one Small and one Large Beef Pho, which is very unusual for us for any dining expereince in Metro Van. The price is expensive comparing to a Metrotown or DT place and the broth has MSG. Hope the owner can improve.
+rep great soup, nice employees, let me start shortly before it got closed and then waited for me as a slow ester to finish my food thank you for a great experience Food
Food: Beef Noodle Soup with Rare Steak & Beef Ball Their meat was fine, but the broth was sweeter than what Id prefer. In my more recent reviews of Pho places I do not comment on noodles anymore because all noodles Ive eaten at Pho restaurants across the Lower Mainland tastes the same; the clinchers for a good Pho or not depends heavily on the broth and the meat. Service: Service was quick and the lady was polite. Atmosphere: I Shazamed a few songs because I liked them, so thats good. The restaurant was presentable, I didnt feel like I traveled to the past, thank goodness. My bone to pick though is the cleanliness. I didnt like the cleanliness of the bathroom; the floor was sticky, and the layout is odd. You open the door and it goes urinal, sink, then toilet. Back in the dining room, the napkin dispenser had some obvious fingerprint marks on it which made the thing look kind of greasy, and I didnt want to touch it. Every time I grabbed napkins I used my wrist instead to balance the dispenser while I pulled out napkins. Conclusion: I dont think Id return based off the 3 factors above, but thank you for providing lunch. 3/5
Their 10. House Special Noodle Soup is outstanding. I absolutely love it!
Best pho in North delta
The Pho was delicious and hot, portions where big and filling. The server was friendly and quick.
Excellent food and services! My new favourite spot :-)
Some of the best Vietnamese food I ve had in a long time. Very good portions.
Noodles in the pho always feel a little overcooked, but the soup broth is sooo good and the portions are HUGE!! The salad rolls are a must, you get a lot of bang for your buck with them
This place use to be the go to pho spot in delta but, it has just gotten progressively worse. From the quality of food to items not being in the order. This time it was both of those together. I kept giving this place a shot but, today is the last time I order from there. Shame.
Updated review. Several bad experiences in a row, this place is no longer a worthwhile option for Vietnamese in Delta. Will not eat here again.
One of the best pho joints around! Their salad rolls are freshly made and good also. I been going here since it was a small family owned joint. Still the same but expanded the space. Recently revisited it, the lady who seems to be the manager or one of the owners? was very rude and impatient and made rude sarcastic comments when taking order which took for ever to come. The quality of food has gone south also with the pho soup came warm and not hot. I used to like this place a lot, but no longer. Will not visit this joint again. I had 5 star before now down graded to 1 star.
I have not enjoyed this restaurant since I moved from the area more than 5 years ago. I m coming back tomorrow!
Good food
The food was ok but the staff are not too friendly
Delicious! We always order the same thing - the raw beef pho and it is consistently tasty.
Came here with my family, and I used to get lunch here all the time when I worked across the street. Good quality pho, delicious coffee, friendly staff.
its a gem hiding in north delta.
Consistently good overall. Best Vietnamese in area. Enjoy!
Fantastic! I was greeted with a nice hot cup of tea, Pho was a great consistency, beef three ways was delish. I had the house special, highly recommend!
Extremely disappointing service :/ I have tried many different meals from this place over the years as I live locally and love pho food. Ill admit that their food is good, a solid 7/10. But they CONSTANTLY get our orders wrong, and the receptionist is one of the most rude and grumpy people Ive ever had the displeasure of speaking with. On multiple occasions they have given us the wrong order, and after I called back and told them they issue, they blame it on us. Ill sadly not be supporting them again, which is especially unfortunate because I like their food when they get the orders right.
Has kind of become my default go to place to take visitors. Everything Ive tried from their menu so far has been good.
Best Pho place around! I wish it was closer to Vancouver. Worth the trip to Delta though
D A N G E R! There should be a Rating of No Stars. . . Took an order of their Best Selling #1 Dish to the office for my wife. . . The broth tasted like the water they would have used to cook the rice noodles! In Fact, that probably had more flavour! The rice noodles were one Ball of Glue in the bottom of the bowl. . . the FEW pieces of beef were some Strange Cut that looked Very Unappetizing. My First, and ABSOLUTELY LAST visit!
Bad service
Horrible service. Ladies working here are more interested in hanging around in the back talking than actually providing service to their customers.
Went and tried this restaurant again, was really clean, the girls were very attentive and the lemon grass chicken was amazing.. i am going back
I don t think I will come here again. I guess the owner changed, the noddle tastes so weird, Not good, I even cannot finish the noodle. I will go to the one in surrey center even though a little far.
Very good Vietnamese food and service. I really love the chicken on rice. Its quite tasty and delicious!
Really fast and courteous service from this longtime neighborhood pho restaurant. They havent raised their prices as crazy high as some Ive seen. And their food is the reason they have lasted so long here in Delta, BC. Delicious and quick to your table.
Great pho for the price and a healthy portion sizes makes you keep coming back. Only thing lacking is the service which can be hit or miss. *Update* Ownership appears to have changed, food seems very similar if not the same, but the service is a lot slower the few times Ive gone here. The Interior is much nicer and the building feels less run down now however.
Just as good as it has always been. One of my favourite restaurants!!!
My absolute favourite restaurant in all of North Delta, great, mouthwatering food.
Good pho, good broth!
bit shabby outside but compensates taste and quality of food and reasonable price per portion
Great food at a great price, for lunch time try to get in before noon or after 1:30pm because the wait times could be a bit long but other than that everything is great.
The best pho in town!
I just moved back into the area glad to see this place still open. No longer a cramped hole from days of the Big Scoop/Stanleys diner but a very nice open restaurant. Staff are extra friendly and the food is amazing. I was sad to find out that the beef balls were not what I was hoping they would be . But it is a family restaurant after all.
Great food. Good service. Standard pricing. I would bring my family here again.
Fast service good food
best lemongrass chicken! we usually get the seafood bowl with the egg noodles but wontons are great too
We been this restaurant so many times over pass six years, because it is closed to our home and foods were great. But this year everything changed, still same menu but they cooked completely different things than before, and foods taste strange. Very disappointed and will never come back.
Second time I try this restaurant but this time not that good. I order ice coffee but it never come and the noodle mostly beef more than flank and tendon. When I go at cashier to pay and ask about my ice coffee, the guy who take order for me that he said he forget to order for me. I don t think I will come back to this restaurant again in future.
Great food, good portions, such friendly staff! Will definitely come here every time I m in north delta
The pho here used to be so good but has changed dramatically over the past few years. This likely the last time I will visit- worst bun cha Ive ever had and hubbys pho no better.
The worst service. It felt like we were bothering them. The Pho was ok but the chicken lemon grass was served like a smashed piece of meat on the plate, supposed to come with vermicelli noodles, but when it didnt they scraped off the rice came back and slaped the plate down with the noodles hanging off the plate. Three of us got our meals 25 min later then I had to ask for the fourth meal 10 min later. Not going back.
Pho Dac biet was tasty. Would recommend this place.
New owners, seem like lovely people, but the food has become disappointing unfortunately. The soup is not nearly as flavorful as it used to be and when you get take out you get far less condiments and much less soup. Sadly will not be going here again.
Been coming here for almost 13 years. Surprised it had new owners about 7 months ago but Im glad to say the food is still top notch (and the rude waitress is gone lol)! Customer service is always friendly now. Everything we order still tastes just as good as before. And I spoke with the new owner they will soon be adding Viet subs and vegetarian dishes! Keep supporting this local gem!
The food is fantastic. Service was good depends on how busy it is and of course, like everywhere else, they can be short handed. Always greeted with a smile. And the foood
The new owners or new management whatever is going on here it s good. The food is consistently great the spring rolls just amazing. Definitely recommend.
Very tasty. Worth the drive
Ordinary Vietnamese restaurant
Best pho and wonton soup ever
I never tasted such flavorless pho broth. Not sure why everyone complained about the customer service but not the food.
Portion control alert! More food than you can eat! Everytime i get take out, its basically 2 meals in 1. love it please never change
Service can be better
Good food good service.
Meh, it was all kinda tasteless and very expensive , not impressed
Consistently excellent food. Our go to restaurant for Pho.
Food was good, the lady that used to work at guildford pho(thats how I know her lol) was super nice, but there was this other lady that was super rude, right from the beginning. I asked for high chair, she just points at it. And then points in an area to go sit. I go sit in that area, she gets mad that Im sitting in the area. I put high chair for child beside the table and move the chair beside the table, she comes by and tells me to move the chair because Im blocking people? Which it really wasnt, and she couldve moved it herself? Just straight up rude and hating her life and you could tell this was factually true.
Nuce place. Recommended for family dining
Very good soup
Amazing food, no better Vietnamese food to find this side of the Pacific ocean.
Great little hideaway restaurant we didnt see this till we were there , the food is great I had the lemon chicken and my other half had the spicy pork soup, and they also serve alcohol here as well with your meal, will be back soon
Classic pho joint
Best pho in town, come here eVeryweek
The food here is really good and we live in the neighborhood and go there very often. But the staff is so arrogant and impolite, both me and my wife really dont like to go there (we still go, just because they have the best Pho in town). Even today, we went there at 8.25pm. They bluntly refused to serve us saying they close at 9:00 and so only take out allowed. Unbelievable, how people can be so rude, especially in the service industry. These days we go out more often to support the local businesses because we know Covid is hitting them really bad. But if they dont reciprocate the courtesy, why bother
Great Pho! Our 1st choice in Delta for tasty soup, plus their deep fried wontons are the best ever
Service is mediocre. Be prepared to wait, and youll have to ask for everything forks etc. Food is ok.
Food is decent here, Ive spent a lot of money at this place in the 30 years Ive been going Unfortunately today is last time I will set foot in the door there is one staff member who is particularly rude, a waitress, today I sat there for about 30 minutes drinking tea, watching several people come in be seated have their orders taken well I was completely ignored there must have been a reason although Im not sure why. Very demanding and rude about the ID in the vaccine passport, for some reason takes a picture of them with her personal phone, which i provided. I was very polite and asked for service multiple times, telling them im waiting to order and continue to be ignored through my arms up in the air and walked out. Guess theyre doing good enough they dont mind turning away 100 dollar bills plus tip. Oh well not my loss. Unfortunate
Great food , great owners
Great food, good service.
good food and HORRIBLE SERVICE. The women here are incredibly rude, Ive never experienced anything like that.
Good food!
Its okay.
Always good!
Taste good
I ordered food twice not knowing that they use MSG. There is no mention of it on their website. My sister is very allergic to MSG. She got sick and I decided to call the restaurant and ask if they use MSG. Yes they do!! I I reported to the lady who answered the phone of my sister s reaction to the MSG and she said sorry. So I left my contact info and asked that the manager call me back. Sad to say he/she never did. If you are not allergic to MSG; their food is very good. The reason for my 3 star rating is the lack of interest shown towards my complaint. This is a health concern for some people and should be noted on their website.
Brings back memories!!! Same great food. The grilled chicken is excellent as is just about any Pho offered. Same fast and welcoming service. Same great value. Come to think of it, literally the same people after all these years. The Pho Stanley restaurant in North Delta continues to NOT disappoint.
Been there a couple of times. The food is usually quite tasty. However, the customer service could use a lot of improvements.
Good Vietnamese food.
Good soup
Old school authentic
I think I had the #35? It was a tasty spicy satay, of the sorts with beef and some other meat. I enjoyed it regardless. I ll go again as I haven t had a bad experience yet. I go here every couple of months in a rainy day.
Food is always great. Staff are good and friendly.
The food and drinks taste good! The dining environment is clean and tidy!
The chicken teriyaki and wonton soup is a good deal for 12.50
The food is great, however, be prepared for a complete lack of manners, while having your food dish slammed on the table, and zero interaction with the wait staff. Today our server was simply rude, while we handed her a cash tip, and she grabbed the tray and chatted with her coworker, no eye contact, no thank you, no nod, no manners at all. The food is not worth the disrespect treatment.
Amazing food and service
Ordered 1 order ofChicken Chowmein that was almost $16 and when I asked for some hot sce I was told it will be extra .50cents. I was appalled and so disappointed that I refused to pay this xtra .50cents as my order was expensive enough. Their prices are outrageous to begin with and on top thay are asking you to pay extra for the condiments. I would think twice before ordering from there in the future. :((((
The chicken on rice is like a plate of heaven, only better. The manners of the servers is the price you pay for going however...rude. in reading through similar comments here if they addressed that they would easily be 4.5 to 5 stars
pho so goot
Strong point is there chicken rice, although they have been decreasing the size of the chicken they serve on too gradually, it s about half of what it was from a few years ago. Everything else is mediocre at best. Service is really on and off but more leaning towards the off. They don t check up on you often and expect a tip. Also, they tend to forget extra things you order when you take out so just double check for them before leaving. If you want a convenient place to eat at in north delta for cheap you can check this place out but there are better places in surrey or Richmond if you don t mind the commute.
Delicious food by lovely people. Broth a bit too salty but still fine.
Best pho ever.
These guys have the worst customer service you will ever see! I have ordered multiple times before but today has done it! I will not be ordering from here again and I recommend u don t as well!
Good food and excellent service
Great food and service for a low cost, definitely would recommend to family and friends.
My dad took me to this place since I was a kid and it still remains as one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The food is fantastic and its a quiet atmosphere so you really couldnt ask for more, Im sad my dad isnt here anymore to be my pho date but my siblings and I try to go together once and awhile. Thanks for the memories Stanleys!
Really good pho at a very low price
Best Pho of all I have ever tried in metro Vancouver: prices are cheaper, more meat in pho soups, more variety of dishes, meat is always juicy, and broth is ExcellentOOO! My big appreciation to chef!!! I am loyal customer of yours! Ow don t forget to try their Prawn tempura, it s yummmmmyyyyy
Been going here since I was a kid! Best pho in town
I came in around 7:30, the lady that greeted me was very friendly and took the order quickypy with social distancing. I read great reviews and I was in the area so I decided to eat here. I ordered the pho dac biet and summer rolls. They gave separate dips as it was a table for two. The soup was very hot as well and it was overly salty as some places may be. They have quite a few take-out/delivery orders as the restaurant is limited seating and because of COVID-19. Be patient when you order.
great won ton soup
Clean, good food at a great price!
I like their seafood with egg noodles in soup
This place is soooooo good. Been around fir a while and once you eat here you will understand why. They even had to expand it. Excellent food, great prices. I get the two skewer combo chicken and beef. Delicious!! Hungry just thinking about it. Great owners too.
Really good food. Crispy chow mein was awesome. Lemongrass chicken was great. Got soup with brisket, tendon and tripe got one piece of tripe and the rest was brisket. Ordered iced coffee got it after bill was paid. Service was AWFUL! Buildup on seats didn t want to touch them. Floor was filthy.
Love the food here been here several times and the food never disappoints. Decor is worn and a bit on the dingy side. Service is good and can recommend this place for Pho!
Service is not good, waitresses is so rude!
Best Vietnamese restaurant in Canada.
Will not be going back to Pho Stanley for a while. They gave our take-out order to a different customer, tried to get them to RETURN THE FOOD SO THEY COULD THEN GIVE IT TO US, didnt let me know that they gave my order to someone else. I had to overhear it while they tried to get the other customer to return the food. No apologies about the delay or mixup, whatsoever.
One of our favorites
Ok if you are really hungry.
Excellent service & food!
food is pretty good, good ratio of meat to noodle. their big size bowls are smaller than most of the other restaurants. spring rolls are extra crunchy and pretty damn good, definitely recommend them. service is a bit slower than other pho restaurants. from the time I ordered, my pho came after 8 mins.. iced coffee arrived after 13 mins and spring rolls came in at 15 mins. i personally like a bit more flavor in my soup base, but the soup wasnt bad.
great good, terrible service.
Soup is consistently good...service-meh
Love the place.
Great food. Large servings. Decent price
food not too bad. Small Portions. service horrible
Good food and good service.
Love this place! Have been going to eat here for many many years! Hope to keep enjoying it for many more!
Average quality, decent, but questionable whether its really worth your loonies and toonies.
This message is to the owner or manager of Pho Stanley. Myself with a group of about 10-15 people come in to your restaurant on a semi-regular basis for lunch on Sunday afternoons. I am writing to make a complaint about your waitstaff who have not been very accommodating, nor do they seem willing to serve us very happily. When we come in, the restaurant does not appear to be busy and we usually take up the large group table in the middle of your restaurant. Each time we have come, your waitresses have seemed really put out and they seem to make a big deal about adding extra tables or chairs so that we can all sit together. They have been rude and seem to have an attitude which shows they dont want to serve or accomodate a big group. I have even asked if we should go elsewhere as they seem unwilling to accomodate us. Its too bad because the food is very good. We are happy to go elsewhere if the restaurant does not want our business. There are plenty of other Pho restaurants around this area whom Im sure would be happy to have us attend nearly every week. And we will go elsewhere if this behaviour continues. We spend nearly $10-20 per person at your restaurant for lunch nearly every Sunday. Multiply that by 10-15 people, thats $100-300, plus generous tips, your business would be losing each week. If your restaurant does not appreciate large groups and is willing to lose this income then thats fine. This attitude from the waitstaff has not just been exemplified once, but nearly each time we come in which is why we wont put up with it for much longer. We all reside in Delta and enjoy supporting small business owners, but not if our business is not appreciated or welcomed. We hope the next time we come in, we would be greeted warmly and welcomed from people who are willing to serve and not with attitudes displaying dread and literal eye rolling.
Service is effin horrible. I didnt even bother ordering food.
The Pho is good here and the portions are large. I have not been disappointed with their food, it is always flavourful.
Always love coming here
Good food, large serving size for good price.
This is the only restaurant I miss when i moved out of delta
Great local restaurant. Very tasty, made with fresh ingredients. Lots of seating and choice.
Broth is ok, meat portions were very minimal. Service was inattentive and rude. Not worth it.
