I love this place. A nice cozy spot with great food, healthy choice of smoothies, tons or warm beverages. Breakfast, brunch or lunch you can count on them. Also, they have coffee beans, frozen bagels and all sorts of goods for you to shop to bring home.
We had a lovely experience overall, but the excessively loud music inside the café forced us to sit outside. Despite it being a Saturday morning and the interior being nearly empty, the volume made it difficult to even place an order. The outdoor seating, however, was pleasant and allowed us to enjoy our meal in a more comfortable setting. The staff were friendly, and the coffee and bagels were delicious, making it a worthwhile visit despite the noise issue.
Went there with our friends and have a sandwich which is delicious and come with a soup or salad (choose by you) pretty good size and quality of food! Pardon my French lol I think there aren’t any English menu or info as we ask for the lady she said nope~ Thanks we have the iPhone and google 😂 Anyway good cafe near by the royal mountain.
Cute little place , very clean , polite staff , the food is very good but on the pricey side We took the salmon bagel wich was so good and a decaf latte also very good and love the design
I was amazingly suprise by how good their bagel tasted, i took the bacon and cream cheese one and it was exceptionnal. The price aswell of the presentation of the bagel was awesome !!!
Every time I go to Garage Jack to fix my car, I head there to have myself a solid breakfast. Their food is really special and great. Last time I brought my girlfriend with, she was also fixing her car and really enjoyed her experience. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the pastries were a bit dry. Freshness is always key, but the bagels were made on the spot so these tasted very good! Thank you for the experience Updated: 2023 5 stars everything is great and fresh including pastries!
Awesome spot! The coffee was so so good, really well made. The service was very friendly. I found that the bagel I ordered didn't have much in it for the price but it was more than fine. I had the soup of the day which was spinach and squash, so good! Bagels are amazing. Tried the brownie which was an average brownie, a bit dru but not overly sweet. Enjoyed my experience and would go back!
Had a cappuccino and waffle. My girlfriend had a black coffee with sesame bagel. Very tasty and fresh ! The attendants were really polite- great ambience with indoor plants and a vintage wall clock 😄👌 Will surely visit again!

On est le 12 octobre, il fait 12 degrés à l extérieur et on gèle à l intérieur, il y a du vent froid comme si l air climatisé fonctionnait encore. C est très inconfortable pour relaxer en mangeant. La nourriture servie (potage et bagel) était froide également! Assez déçu car bel endroit et ambiance. Prix vraiment trop élevé pour ce qui est offert.

Really cool place, its the kind of place I think of when I want to go to a cafe... not Tim, Starbucks etc... Everything is delicious, the coffee is good and the staff is super welcoming and smiling .
We had to wait because of the employee who received the wrong order. The new order was prepared so sloppyly. I had to eat it because I was very hungry. It was a place where I came with love, but the behavior made today was not pleasant at all. The mistake behaved like we did and was not polite at all.

Very nice coffee
This restaurant being close to our home, we really wanted to like it since we like to encourage the local economy. However, after several tries, it is evident that the service is still very, very slow. Waiting more than fifty minutes to be served simple dishes, in addition to frequent errors in orders, is particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, Im going to start looking for somewhere else to get my bagels and have a meal.

I love the atmosphere, the decoration. The products are good and relatively affordable. In my opinion there is not enough space. Its often full, especially with students spending a lot of time there. Beautiful outdoor seating in summer. A little passing, but still pleasant for a chat.

Service much too slow even when you only buy bagels to take away. No sense of priorities in the service. No one at the checkout smiling.
I would have liked to give a lot more stars because the food is good and fresh... But, extremely slow service, we waited more than 45 minutes for our order. We could put it down to the shortage of manpower, however people who ordered a meal after us, were served before us and even finished before we were served... There was no real sincere apology from them
The food is excellent... But if you call it on the go and you wait 20 minutes to get two bagels... the atmosphere is great! But the service is slow..

Tasty fresh bagels, probably the best you can get locally, great service and environment/ambiance. Perfect for a quiet morning cafe & bagel-breakfast-sandwich by yourself or to catch up (meet) with a friend. Parking: Since you cant park on Chemin dOka, you need to park on adjacent street (8th Ave) just in the corner of Bistro. Although never had issues with parking, the proximity spots are limited, I suspect one might have to park a bit further down street if local area is busy.

Slow service for a mediocre breakfast experience. Went back 3 times because it s close to my house and 3 times we had errors in our takeout order. Save your money and go to Bagel Ste- Rose instead.

I buy bagels for breakfast. They are always soft and chewy. Fresh. Also its a really good price. I stopped buying bagels at the iga across the street.

A nice little coffee for lunch. Good selection of coffee at different prices. Large quantity and choice of breakfast bagels, salmon, bacon, cream cheese, avocado and more. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, very good taste. On the other hand, if you have a big appetite, the portions are not that big.
Very nice place to enjoy or take away a good bagel, no need to go to Mtl. when I have a craving for a bagel. they are just the way I like them.

Air conditioning super noisy and also too cold for the existing temperature, very unfortunate. I really liked it but Ill have to find somewhere more interesting. Sad.
The bagels are super good, the staff is very courteous, but the service is really slow unfortunately. If they can improve that, well come back more often.
We went around 11 a.m. on a Sunday, welcoming service, beautiful place. However, I will blame the 20 min wait between my order and receipt of the dishes for 2 plates of bagel with salad, there were 5 customers in the restaurant but I understand that there is a shortage of labor so I dont know not if the cause is the fact that it seemed to be only 2, its possible and I dont want to burn the restaurant at the stake for that reason. I would have appreciated peppers cut more carefully on my Monsieur, I took the salad of the moment chickpea and vegetables which according to us lacked taste. We will probably try the experience again anyway in order to give the runner a chance in these difficult times.
I recommend the bagel sandwiches to all the cyclists who pass in the area. The service is a little long but its worth it

My girlfriend and I had a bagel and cream cheese here the other day and coffee/hit chocolate. The cream cheese they have is good, as are the bagels. The drinks were good but somewhat pricey, but they are coffee shop style drinks so its to be expected. Its nice to have a place like this nearby. Hours are sort of restrictive as they are only open to 3pm and are closed I think Tuesday and Wednesday which is a little inconvenient but its a small shop so the people who work there must need some breaks and days of obviously
The bagels were ok. Average. The coffee, however, was way over priced and tasted burnt.

Excellent service, good selection of bagels, sour cream with chives (yum yum). Freshness guaranteed because the bagels are always fresh. Didnt have coffee, I have to try their Scones and other pastries next time. Very welcoming and attentive staff. We cant wait for the terrace and the dining room to eventually open post-pandemic. A must-have to start your day off right or to compliment your weekend brunches.
