Its the good bistro that was missing in Dieppe, an excellent dish of the day every time, desserts, homemade like everything else, delicious. Fish & chips and tartare every day, succulent, all prepared by Fabrice the boss. AND every day whelks and monkfish liver for which Marie, the owner, has the secret, the cooking juices are so good that I always end up drinking them. For those who dont drink, or no longer drink, like me, a very good non-alcoholic beer. For others, a top wine list. Reservations required for lunch, it s always full. In the evening, oysters whelk shrimp, cold meats and excellent cheeses. Finally, a warm welcome in a pretty and warm place too. I have no part in the deal, but Im always excited when a restaurant does its job too. (I forgot the mayonnaise eggs cooked to perfection with a delectable mayonnaise and grilled onions, I think Im starting to get hungry! )

A pretty old-fashioned bistro, a fishing port atmosphere, a warm welcome and well-prepared home cooking, all within a reasonable budget, we love it! We will come back and highly recommend

Having wanted to try it for a long time, I am enchanted by this little bistro. Warm welcome from the owners, everything was excellent and homemade, right down to the mayonnaise!! Very fair prices. On the other hand, it is better to reserve as there is so much demand. I particularly recommend the monkfish liver and the fish and chips. My mother and I recommend it and we will be back!

This small, tastefully renovated old-fashioned bistro is home to a more than friendly team who make us feel at home. It also hides the best Fish & Chips in Dieppe, with homemade fries, fresh and tender fish and crispy breading. The other dishes are obviously worth the detour too. As well as the generous and affordable appetizer boards. Don t hesitate to cross the Ango Bridge from the Quay to come and discover this great address in Pollet. I recommend and go back tomorrow evening, remember to book, the restaurant is friendly but you cant push the ripe ones and the beautiful terrace is subject to the weather.

Very nice discovery, friendly welcome, simple but really tasty home cooking. Reduced menu, excellent whelks and fish and chips. Allow 20 euros for main course and starter or dessert. A dozen tables inside, we regret the lack of space and therefore privacy, a small inconvenience which should disappear thanks to the terrace in summer. We will come back.

Recently discovered, having had the opportunity to try it twice in less than a week. An unusual place, with charming people. Fabrice his wife offers us a pleasant place. They prepare the work in an incredible way, with a very well spiced taste with the spices, the same shrimps, homemade mayonnaise, a goldfinch in delicious white wine. Everything is delicious in a beautiful atmosphere. Not to be missed.

A Dieppe address directly on the fishermens quay. I was shocked by the quality of the products. It was so good, a simple fish and chips and presto its gone for the taste buds... A taste treat. A back of fresh saithe, yes fresh, and its potatoes, home fries, with a sauce of which only Fabrice the cook knows the secret, a killer. Im not talking about the whelks, the dozen, cooked to perfection, absolutely not rubbery accompanied by a small pot of sauce, the same, killer.....the dessert was frozen with you guessed it, homemade whipped cream . In short, I recommend without hesitation, a reservation is recommended, especially for the terrace.

We first had a beer on the terrace because the choice of taps is original! Friendly server and top managers. We decided to eat there the next day. Result: the whelks are truly incredible and have reconciled me with molluscs. As for the fish and chips, it s the best I ve ever eaten. The sauces are homemade, the beers allow you to discover new flavors. Thanks to the managers and keep it up! A must-visit address when passing through Dieppe!

This is a place that should be reimbursed by the security.... Well already, the quality of the cuisine; the products are fresh, particularly well seasoned, the menu is short and efficient. My 15 month old daughter tasted EVERYTHING with great pleasure. But what makes the identity of the place is the atmosphere, the state of mind, the decor. Today November 20, 2023 Scallop and herring fair. We decide to go for a little drink at Polettes like every year..... So we order two glasses of Pinot gris and so far so good We then want the bill and there, the waitress asks the boss who is Non Stop glued to his cash register how much we have to pay. Mr looks at us and says Pfff 12 ! No, but 12 for two unfortunate glasses of Pinot gris and also taken at the bar!!!! (and whats more, dont break three legs of a duck!) where are we going? Frankly, its overkill.... We are very disappointed and apparently it has become a tourist trap where the bill corresponds to the customers head!

Having spotted this restaurant on Google before our Dieppe getaway, we did not know that a reservation might be necessary. Fortunately, the young woman who welcomed us found us a table for two. Well, we were not disappointed. The reputation of Chez Polettes fish and chips is not overused: it is simply excellent. That of the bosses is not either, they are friendly and welcoming. We know where to come back for lunch when we come back to visit Dieppe...

Correct and pleasant bosses. However, consider installing a door bellman, it will be more pleasant for you, as well as for your customers... (the door opening by itself during gusts of wind or the door being locked for your customers to avoid this disappointment) .
