The decoration is so warm. Its all you need in winter to take your mind off things. Superb terrace

Ouch! The location does not fill our stomachs. Chairs with dirty, unironed cloths on them. We asked for a clean bread basket because the cloth was quite dirty and the bread was old and hard, and luckily this time fresh bread was put in and not a cloth. With the cheese (much too cold) bread from the freezer again... The duck was fine, the diced vegetables very simple and the puree was from yesterday. All in all a bit disappointing. Shame. We were the only ones in the restaurant.

!! WARNING - Strongly not recommended!! We had booked a room for a little over a week. Unfortunately due to health problems of a loved one, we were forced to cancel our reservation. The cancellation was accepted without problem, for which we were very grateful. The cancellation confirmation was confirmed to us by email, asking us at the same time to send our bank details so that the deposit could be refunded; which we did immediately, as this was a non-trivial amount. Unfortunately, to date, we have never received a refund of the promised deposit (the cancellation dates from June 18, 2024). After several emails went unanswered; we called, the person on the phone apparently has no problem lying, informing us that they see that the transfer has been made and that we should receive it within 2 days... the height of nerve!! Now all our emails as well as a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt remain unanswered... we are completely ghosted. We find this behavior very regrettable! Fortunately there are individuals we can trust, we have never had any problems with our rentals through Abritel.

We wanted to try a restaurant other than those we already know in Dieppe. The Auberge du Vieux Puits was an excellent choice for this. Everything was absolutely delicious. The lobster bisque cappuccino as a pre-starter is fabulous. The turbot and sea bass were cooked perfectly.

Rooms: Oppervlakkig .gepoetst.Niet netjes, onder het bed reeds enige tijd niet gemopt. Geen handdoekwissel, ondanks nota op kamer ( ndien wissel graag op grond deponeren). Ramen sluiten niet goed, onfrisse geur in BK. WIFI werkt totaal niet! Gemeld . maar niets mee gebeurd. Food and drinks: Zeer beperkt ontbijt, .. beetje ontgoocheld. De gastronomische menu ook niet michelin-melding waardig .we hadden beter verwacht voor die prijs.

Gift to go there 3 free nights for our wedding. We were very disappointed with the room booked. No place to store your clothes except a rack and a very small piece of furniture with 2 shelves, the Wi-Fi never worked, the bedside tables which are just bottle crates on which you cannot not put much down since they are openwork (vintage?), the shower which stops every 5 seconds, so we end up in the bathtub... On the day of departure, we realized that under the bed, cleaning had not been done for a very, very long time, huge kitties were there. We reported it. As for breakfast, on the 2nd and 3rd day, we had croissants (frozen) but not cooked at all inside... it seems to be a problem with the oven!! The bread also frozen... Its a shame to put such a review but apart from the location of the hotel, I absolutely do not recommend it. Rooms: Not very practical, cleaning under the beds which leaves more than to be desired.

I hesitated for a long time before writing this opinion but traders and bosses really need to become aware of their attitude. Very friendly staff and boss, everything was really excellent without exception from the starter to the desserts to the wine but unfortunately there is one but which still leaves me incomprehension. When it s time for cheese, I ask for a piece of Neufchâtel. I see one that looks newer than another. I was served a piece of one that was really well done. Surprise, a white worm comes out of my piece of Neufchâtel. This can happen, so I DISCREETLY point it out to the boss (it seems to me that he was the boss) and he collects my plate and brings it back to me with a new piece of neufchatel. Okay. Dessert arrives, I ordered a tarte tatin, it arrives but on its own, that is to say without the scoop of ice cream that goes with it, I take the liberty of pointing this out and they bring it back to me. If I hadnt asked for it, I wouldnt have gotten it. Okay. The bill arrives, I see that we are being charged for 2 coffees even though we dont drink coffee and therefore we havent had any, I point this out and they remove them from the bill. Okay. Where Im not ok is that the boss asks us if everything went well? overall everything went well except for these 3 points mentioned above which he is aware of. well NOTHING! no digestive offered, no gesture on the bill, Im not asking for an apology but a little word would have been appreciated. There were 2 of us, we still paid 156 EUR but no action... We are really disappointed with this attitude.

We had a truly fantastic meal here. Everything was perfect, the ambiance in the restaurant, wonderfully no music, the view and the very friendly service. The dishes were perfect and all had an original twist. This is really French cuisine as it should be! Food and drinks: Top quality!

Restaurant recommended wrongly because the meal is not up to par with an inn which charges 55 euros for its menu. Frankly mediocre experience on several aspects: furniture, tableware, quality of service, presentation of the menu, choice, quantity served for à la carte dishes, quality of desserts. In short, a restaurant far from gourmet expectations.

Disappointed, dear Valentine s Day. 1: Menu imposed without having been informed when booking. A single menu at 55 . 2: amuse bouche, a glass of mushroom soup to drink. 3: the vegetables that accompanied the fish (frozen vegetable pan): green beans, peppers, peas...) I dont think its in season. 4: cheese, 3 parts to share on a slate with 2 salad leaves. 5: dessert: a Bavarian the size of a slice to share, 2 small verrines each, everything was with red fruits, and a strawberry (seasonal) dipped in chocolate. 6: and the menu at 55 excluding drinks

Superb inn in a magnificent setting, warm welcome and service with Virginie, gourmet meal with fresh produce. A small room was made available to us as we were accompanied by 2 young children.

A contemporary and refined room. Attentive and professional service. The fish is excellent with its very varied small vegetables. The highlight of the dinner is the revisited apple rum French toast, a delight. During the day the view must be magnificent.

We had dinner at the Auberge du Vieux Puits and had a great time. The fish of the day was delicious, as well as the local cheeses and dessert. The wait between courses was relatively short. You will find a wide choice of meat and fish on the menu, all cooked with local products. The welcome is warm and the whole team is helpful and friendly. We advise you to make a reservation as the room is quite small.

This is what I would call a magnificent discovery. In a magnificent setting facing the sea, the chef and his team prepare dishes to die for. The welcome and service are impeccable... My advice, if you want to sparkle your taste buds, dont hesitate to visit this very nice place.

Reservation for one night. The room was very pleasant with a magnificent view of the sea. We also reserved a seafood platter which was excellent and thanks to the team who advised us on the wine. The room is very refined which provides privacy. The young girl who served us was cheerful and smiling. We had a great evening. The food was quite good, and the portions were surprisingly large. Nevertheless, the price/performance ratio is not ok at the prices quoted. The only menu was available for 55. A la carte prices were correspondingly high. However, the service did not keep up with our own standards. Glasses and bottles of the aperitif were not completely cleared away until the end, foamy beer, which was not the brand ordered, was served but nothing was wiped away afterwards, the cheese was served on rather dubious wooden boards, etc. The toilet was pitch black and the womens room was completely out of order. In the summer on the terrace with the great view everything may seem better, but in March it is rather disappointing.

Simple but successful cuisine with a nice setting.

Simply delicous and beautiful experience to dine here for lunch. We had a fantastic 6 courses which lazily spread over 3 hours. The portion size was good so you got to truly experience and share a range of flavours including lobster cappuccino!, oysters, pate, veal, lobster and a superb, generous and theatrical selection of cheese. Special mention for the desserts chocolate pot and tarte tartin, simply superb with lovely flavour touches. Top food and top service from our waitress just enhanced the experience. This was delivered efficiently and most importantly engagingly and with humour throughout, despite our limited French. With views over Puys village and beach even on a rainy day the location is great. We all felt very comfortable here and it was relaxed and special experience. Its not cheap but it is really good value for what is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Worth every Euro. The perfect end to a couple of days in the wonderful Dieppe Only minutes from town and easy access to the ferry simply go if you can. The location of the restaurant is great. We had lunch on the terrace despite a strong (cold) north-east wind, fortunately we were well protected by the plexiglass, the waitress and waiter were welcoming and friendly, however a big downside.. The quantities!! !!!! having chosen a sea bass fillet still billed at 30 euros per dish, you should not be very hungry these 2 fillets corresponding to half (or certainly less) of a full sea bass. Too bad because the quality remains correct overall. 1 single menu at 55 euros, it would really be appropriate to offer a less expensive menu for lunch.

Unfortunately, the bridge was closed for the entire weekend without prior notice, which is quite a detour for pedestrians.

Suite à notre repas en groupe le samedi 17/06 je ne remets pas en cause la qualité des plats, le service mais je me demande encore pourquoi jai payé un menu à 48,50 alors que la majorité des copains avaient pris celui à 39,50 et quà part lentrée, le plat de poisson et le dessert étaient à lidentique, le menu na pas été respecté , cest dommage...

Perhaps there was a change of ownership, during our visit in June, we were offered 2 menus, I sent the list of choices to the restaurant to facilitate service, apart from between the menu at 39, 50 and 48.5 we should have had 2 different fish including one with mushroom sauce, in the end we had the same fish as the menu at 39.5. Same for dessert, the bean panacotta, same for the two menus, were still waiting for the white chocolate ball. I discussed it with the manager who told me that it is the cook who decides in the meantime, there is deception on the goods. In addition, the manager is blocked to cut the conversation short, a great reaction. I really like this hostel, the welcome is very friendly and correct! The restaurant is superb, the food is very good and the service is very friendly. Breakfast, I recommend this stay!!

We passed by here during our walk and were surprised by the menu. 5 courses for a reasonable price of 55, we were actually planning to eat something small, but the prices rose. So . Delicious choices, tasty food.

Thermostatic tap in shower becomes scalding hot while showering. Dangerous. 1 cushion with stains. Many flies in the accommodation and room. Sound from other rooms is clearly audible. Friendly staff and delicious dinner. Sparse breakfast with pots of yogurt that were expired.

Poor service, were grumpy and not customer friendly, the food was also not good and the tables were not cleaned properly, it looked like a fast food chain. So not recommended!

A very nice discovery! The view is simply sublime! We ate facing the sea, with attentive staff and an attractive menu. We already came there 2 years ago and its still a very good address. A menu for 55 with 2 appetizers, starter, main course, cheese platter and dessert. A treat! One thing is certain, we will return there if we pass through Dieppe!

We were served in the tea room this Sunday by a very welcoming, helpful and smiling young girl. Well done !

I will only give my opinion on the catering part because we did not stay here. The restaurant is of very good quality. All the dishes are sophisticated and the taste is excellent. The only thing a little less good is the service, one of the waitresses is not up to the level of this restaurant... But I highly recommend this restaurant

Desolate, shabby and dirty We were really looking forward to our stay at the Auberge du Vieux Puits gite. But what a huge disappointment. Atmosphereless, dreary and above all dirty and shabby. And that for a considerable amount. OUTRAGEOUS! Rooms: Bad beds, wallpaper falling off the wall, only bulbs on the ceiling for lighting! No atmosphere!!

We only tested the restoration. The products are very fresh and perfectly cooked. The value for money is perfect, the chef could claim a star. The location is magical, facing the sea, a terrace awaits you during sunny days. The team takes great care with an ever-present smile. I highly recommend.

Chambre de qualité médiocre : la porte des sanitaires de ferme pas (trouver une astuce pour ne pas quelle souvre avec une serviette par exemple), sol plastique, brise vue cassé qui tiens avec une pince à cheveux, literie bas de gamme. Accueil désagréable avec le personnel prêt à se battre devant les clients.

The hostel looks great when you arrive and the view is indeed magnificent. The bedroom which is accessed from the outside is spacious, very clean and the large bed is comfortable. Unfortunately, the furniture is old (except the bed), the mirror placed on the old desk and not yet hung on the wall, the chair passed over and therefore covered with a cushion, the bedside tables are 2 boxes, as for the door from the bedroom it is closed with a large padlock.... The staff is friendly but clearly lacks experience. Its a shame. Maybe to do it again in a few years when everything is put back in order.

Beautiful location, great food and friendly staff.. The hotel is very quirky and has amazing views of the sea. Its located 15 mins away from the port of Dieppe and is far enough away to enjoy the piece and quite you would expect from a small village.

We are having meals that are out of the ordinary and really very hearty (two appetizers, cheese and dessert, etc.) However, some small details could be improved a little given the level of the restaurant (content and cleanliness of the menus differ from one menu to another, service a bit slow even given the richness of the menu,...)

Everything was perfect except the bread, really not good, please change that quickly its the only thing that shocks but the bread is really disgusting! For the rest, the menu with foie gras and lobster is just subliminal
