Excellent ! Very professional waitress, helpful and friendly without being stuffy (Bistrot spirit), and top-notch cuisine, from starter to dessert. Tip: book in advance.

Very good address with very good value for money at lunch (starter/main course/dessert for 32 euros). The list is quite short (rather a guarantee of quality), the prices of the wines are reasonable and, this is rare enough to be noted, a lot of wine by the glass, by the 25 or 50 cl pitcher and by the bottle... On our lunch menu: shrimp ravioli, snacked cuttlefish and dessert variation of crème brûlée. Everything very good with a special mention for the dessert The only downside: the small industrial aperitif biscuits served with the glass of wine. From a master restaurateur we would prefer to have a little homemade appetizer to discover his talent.

When you ask what the sauce is that accompanies the fish on the slate, answering ah I dont know its marked on your menu is very limiting. Dont expect to accompany your meal with a good wine either, its the worst Ive ever drunk (more than 8 euros for 12 cl is a steal for the execrable quality). After being seduced by the recommendation of the backpackers guide, we wanted to try this little restaurant... The choice was difficult because everything looked so good, and we enjoyed ourselves from start to finish!! The monkfish liver terrine was a very pleasant discovery, the crispy Neufchâtel was also very good, but the fish in the dishes were at a high level of excellence! We took a fillet of whiting (fish cooked to perfection) and a Dieppe pot full of excellent fish, all served with small seasonal vegetables which were a pure delight (small, fresh and well prepared vegetables such as you rarely find ). We already thought our meal was excellent, but the arrival of the desserts shocked us... Our Topsy-turvy strawberry millefeuille and the bouchon-style baba and his little rum were really the icing on the cake if we can say so. say like that. I had a priori about millefeuille but when I saw it that immediately changed, and once in my mouth it was delicious! The rum baba was generous and well soaked. The service was impeccable, smiles and good humor at the meeting, and the dishes were served quickly. You could hardly expect better from a restaurant!

Well, its hard to judge the food, we got thrown on the phone for being 15 minutes late...!!!! When booking by telephone, I felt a certain coldness that was not very friendly in this young lady...I had booked for Wednesday June 5 at 7:30 p.m., poor assessment on my part of the driving time, I feel that we are going to be late, its 7:20 p.m. and well never be there at 30; I ask my son to call CORRECTION and the young lady, in a bad mood again, says that if we dont arrive at 7:45 p.m. it wont make it, and then she suggests canceling the reservation!!!! !! What my angry son accepted... would rather eat anywhere than at sour places without flexibility... Disappointed, we called the Turbot, the very nice lady apologized, telling us that it was full , thank you for your kindness Madam! Quality traditional cuisine mixed with well-found innovations. In a calm and pleasant setting. The entry of scallops into profit role is original. Largely drizzled with a delicious shellfish coulis, the very beautiful scallops with their coral are seared to perfection, tender and caramelized. The cabbages serve as a delicious sauce for the rest of the sauce. The Dieppe stew is tasty with beautiful pieces of fresh fish. Copious. A small appetizer offered with the aperitif is rare! Hot plates to eat hot are rare too. Changing cutlery between courses, not everyone does it... A table that I also recommend for its pleasant and efficient welcome.

We booked this restaurant for two people on a Saturday evening based on the many positive Google reviews. The very kind waitress welcomed us and guided us on the dishes that she knew very well, my partner being pregnant, she knew the foods present well. The cuisine is excellent as is the value for money on the menu (32nd main course and dessert). The only downside: 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting between the main course and the dessert, the lost brioche was a little burnt on the edges. Almost faultless, I recommend this restaurant.

Our experience at LA CALE restaurant in DIEPPE was mixed. The quality of the food was excellent, but we were disappointed not to find a childrens menu available. In addition, a poster at the entrance to the restaurant made a tasteless joke about children, which deeply displeased our 8-year-old son and us as parents. We expressed our concern to the waitress, who explained that it was humor, but we didnt find it funny at all. We believe it is important for establishments to understand the sensitivities of their customers and adapt their communication accordingly. Despite the quality of the cuisine, these aspects left us with a mixed impression. In response to your response: I assure you, I did not say thank you, nor goodbye when leaving: like father, like son would say you to me. We preferred to put a headset and a console on him... in the end its a bit like a leash.

I had already heard about this restaurant in good terms, and I had wanted to discover it for myself for a long time. So I went there, accompanied by my father, who is not the easiest customer... Fish soup as a starter: good, but it would have been even more delicious to have some garlic croutons for example, in addition to the grated cheese offered. The rust was a little pale for my taste (see: color). But the whole thing is quite honorable. Then my father had scallops which he was delighted with, served with fresh vegetables and sweet potato puree; if I remember correctly. Six beautiful nuts (!) For my part, skate wing with always fresh seasonal vegetables and a little homemade puree. Generous quantity and taste pleasure guaranteed. We are therefore satisfied with this visit to La Cale, with a pleasant welcome and efficient service. However, the prices are perhaps a little high à la carte. We paid 100 euros with a bottle of white and a single shared dessert + two coffees. I recommend anyway. Restaurateurs are all lazy, that s it! » while I made no comment - it was very bad timing because I come from a family of restaurateurs and I would never have allowed myself to say that. So if catering gets her drunk, change jobs ma am! This job is made for passionate and generous people.

Well done to the La Cale team, we had a great time and will recommend this address. Menu at 32 starter, main course, dessert, very varied with great quality for a price that would put other restaurants in Dieppe to shame. We had Neufchâtel aumônière and apples and tataki as a starter, haddock fillet with Dieppoise sauce and dry steak as a main course with, I think, an epautre risotto, demoiselle de Dieppe and French toast for dessert. Beautiful presentations, very good dish/sauce pairing with seasonal vegetables. Pleasant, friendly and very efficient waitress, in a pleasant, well decorated setting.

Small restaurant worthy of being one of the master restaurateurs, top cuisine with top quality products, originality in the dishes offered as well as flavors that can take us on a journey with local products. The service is a real performance both in quality and efficiency and all this with just one person, congratulations to this person especially since all this is done with a smile. My wife and I wanted to have a good time at the restaurant and tonight it exceeded all our expectations. A big thank you to the whole team and see you very soon I think.

Another successful visit to this beautiful establishment! The menu smells fresh and local. The cooking of the fish pays them a beautiful tribute, the quantities served clearly justify the price of the dish and the good atmosphere ensures that you always have a good time. Eating in another restaurant is like going to Dieppe without seeing the sea!

We arrived at this superb restaurant by chance. What a very nice surprise. A very important choice, and when we have chosen... we enjoy it. And all this in a very friendly atmosphere (we exchange between tables), and with perfect and very cool service. We eat very well and we never get bored. Thank you.

Bistro atmosphere guaranteed! Good value for money and a nice team! Sometimes you have to move a little away from the tourist center to find this kind of place.

I think its too expensive for what it is. Menus at 25 and 30 which are usually found at 17 in other brasseries of the same type. Copious plate but not more elaborate than that. Waitress not nicer than that... we arrive at 1:15 p.m. and we feel that its bothering her... in short, I wont go back there.

Typically Norman restaurant. Homemade dishes, fresh and quality products, more than appreciable service. We can see the kitchen, I can assure you that the hygiene is impeccable! It was clear, even though we were at the end of our shift. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Well done, this kind of bistro has become very rare.

Very good restaurant. My husband had whiting which was divine, superb, he told me. My daughters and I opted for a very good homemade burger. Fries with the taste of our grandmothers. Delicious desserts, special mention for the rum baba. Refined decoration, you feel like you are in a small corner of a living room, an intimate and joyful room at the same time. Efficient and cheerful service. Very good address.

Already on the phone it was off to a good start! Top welcome, friendly while being very professional. What can we say about the food! Just divine, incredible, the scallops were superb, very good advice on wine. The childrens menu was really copious and cooked, good homemade, generous quantities, its nice to see a restaurant that also invests in childrens dishes! The desserts were on par with the rest, which is increasingly rare to deserve to be highlighted! All this in a bistro atmosphere that we love, with great service Congratulations to this whole great team, you delighted us!

Remember to book to have space

I removed the photo of the whelks which were partially eaten, it wasnt fair play but its what I preferred during the meal. However, I found that the presentations of the dishes were not highlighted, a little too much like a canteen effect. For the whelks which were really good quality, the half cherry tomato and the small pieces of shallot gave an air of lower quality while the whelk + apple products were delicious!

We came yesterday noon at 4. The welcome was pleasant and the service perfect and attentive. And what a treat! Simply delicious scallop dishes; we tested all the sauces! A tasty French toast to end the meal. We will come back with pleasure!

Friendly places with a very warm welcome. The scallops and the fish pot were excellent, followed by the Norman ladies, a treat. A great address to recommend without moderation.

All Saints Day holidays 2022. Its very good. We went there to see, it was good. We booked for the next day as we had to go back soon, and it was still really good. The welcome was perfect, we loved the flight attendant . Take advantage of it while this type of establishment exists if tourist tables dont attract you.
