I have been going to this restaurant for several years. The cuisine has declined in quality apart from the ingredients which are of excellent quality. The cream poured directly on the dishes, including on my cod, deserves to be worked on. Ditto my neighbors at the table where their fish were bathed in the cream out of the pot..

Restaurant featured in our usual addresses when we come to Dieppe for the weekend and the...disappointment! Although the mussels were excellent, it is always surprising to be greeted on a Saturday evening at 8 p.m. only to be told that they no longer serve a seafood platter nor a 37 menu! The fries were way overcooked and the Normandy tart was overheated and supposedly homemade... but I doubt it ! To sum up, almost 80 for two for an aperitif, a mussel and fries, a pitcher of wine and a dessert.... It s a lot to pay for an overall relative quality! Damage

Passing through Dieppe for our trip to Bruges, we chose to reserve a table at the restaurant Le New Haven, trusting in its popularity. We in turn approve of the quality of the dishes and the service. Remember to book to taste one of the best fish and chips and treat yourself to a fruit pavlova. An army of staff will be at your service to ensure you have a pleasant time in their restaurant. We tried to eat at this restaurant twice this month. Unfortunately the first time I called to book by phone, I was told that we do not take reservations over the phone. I explain that I only have a 15 minute drive, that we will be there in 20 minutes. No, its impossible to reserve, you come and youll see if theres room... So I ask if at this moment theres a table of 4 left, he answers me, now yes but in 20 minutes, I dont know .... So we moved on and went to the competition.... 15 days later, we decide to go there, choosing to arrive early (7:20 p.m.) since we cannot book.... The waiter begins to explain to us that they are full and as we have not reserved he does not have a table for us. I show my incomprehension by explaining that 15 days ago I was told that we could not book. And then a waitress who was behind intervenes and tells us with incredible condescension: well if you are not able to understand the difference between we do NOT take and we NO MORE take reservations its still serious! I looked at my husband stunned and we left. We were surprised by this way of speaking to us when the waiter was simply going to explain to us. We were left with our misunderstandings about the reservations. The New Haven is over for us, too bad the food was good. So we landed at New York a little further away where we finally made an excellent discovery. Good luck at this restaurant, hoping that the young waitress realizes that she cannot attack customers just because of a misunderstanding, you just have to explain things but apparently we are too stupid for her to take the time to do so. with us.

Perfect and friendly welcome for this essential restaurant in the port of Dieppe. Seasonal, local and careful cuisine. I am currently recommending the Vire andouille and scallops duo with Neufchâtel cream, an original and subtle combination of land and sea flavors from the region (see 1st photo). Happy tasting!

Very warm welcome and smiling service. Good value for money: 26 Euros starter, main course, dessert, on a Sunday lunchtime and on the terrace. Herring starter: don t hesitate to take it! We also went there one evening: excellent sea sauerkraut! I have often come to New Haven. The cuisine is really very good and consistent over time. The service is a little quick and the servers are a little busy for my taste. Otherwise nothing to say, very good restaurant.

Parking: No privileged parking for people with reduced mobility on the entire Quai Henry 4 in Dieppe, nor minute deposit. Customers having to park in double lines, very dangerous with traffic. Parking along the beach. Difficult return in walker or wheelchair. Many restaurateurs have designed their entrances. Well done to them.

We have been coming to Dieppe very regularly for 19 years and this is the first time that we thought of booking at New Haven where we had not yet managed to find availability before. I wont forget to book again the next time we come. The service is warm and efficient, the food excellent. We were celebrating a romantic anniversary and the place was perfect. The tables are not too close together which allows a little privacy. Which is not common on Quai Henri IV. We had a great time and we will definitely return.

A wonderful evening with perfect food in a great ambience, right at the harbor in Dieppe. As a group of eleven people with 5 children, it is not always easy to find something suitable. There are super tasty kids menus for the kids, the adults tried various variations of mussels as well as lobster. Everything can be recommended without reservation, short waiting times, super friendly staff, we couldnt have imagined it better. Much better than we expected, we had a perfect evening.

Very good restaurant overall. Small remarks all the same: For the starter of the Port menu, I find the seafood plate difficult to eat, the gray shrimps are tiny and were all full of eggs. After peeling them there isnt much left and you have more on your fingers than in your stomach. I dont really see the taste interest but thats a personal opinion. Then the mussels in Normandy (cream) were a little bland and lacking in garlic for me. There is a cooking problem and the size of the fries, they are all different sizes so some are cooked correctly and others are overcooked and are bitter to the taste, not to mention the impractical side of eating french fries. one or two cm.. Finally, the Chardonnay served by the glass was not of good quality for me or was not airy enough. The dessert (Strawberry Pavlova) was light and excellent. Good restaurant overall.

We had eaten the day before at Tout va bien and needed to forget this dark moment in our lives. Previous comment: A regular visitor to the place during my stays in Dieppe. It s 8:20 p.m. We arrive without reservation. We are given a table. Except that the rules are pointed out to us. It s a direct hot dish. No starter, no seafood. On vacation, weekend of August 15, 8:20 p.m. Its early. We refuse the table. We passed this restaurant again at 10:15 p.m., there were still 2 tables with customers. And we ate elsewhere with a main course and dessert. Not understood. Brief. Prefer a restaurant rather than a canteen.

So we arrived at 8:30 p.m. limited menu, no more seafood in the 2nd course, average. What time is the first service? We take our seats all the same and after aperitif, starter and main course, it took 55 minutes A little hasty, it was good but without added value. I saw it, I wont go back there again

We are delighted with our stay with my husband. the service was great and the person who served us gave good advice while taking the customer into account. I discovered monkfish faith which is very good.

We came for lunch during the week with several children. Warm welcome and attentive service, especially towards children. The Neuchâtel mussels are delicious as well as the chocolate mousse. We will come back with great pleasure! ! ! Kid-friendliness: Booster seat and colorings offered.

Very disappointed with the welcome. Although I have been coming 4 to 5 times a year for years, the waitress refused to allow me to wait inside the restaurant without allowing me to sit while waiting for other people. Previously very good, the welcome stunned me so much that I will never go back there again.

Another delicious moment with ultra fresh seafood. We go there once a year and it is always a pure pleasure to eat there and the welcome, like the service, is always remarkable. Small downside on the profiteroles which arrived in 2...we were expecting 3? Very little choux pastry, we were looking for the famous choux...we were more on 2 huge balls of ice cream in chocolate...what a shame! We still reported it to the waiter at the checkout. This will not stop us from coming back again and again...it remains a sure value for delicious seafood platters.

We did not have the opportunity to enter this restaurant, we were rejected supposedly not having room for 4 people with a stroller. On the other hand, 4 other people arrived just behind us also with a stroller and they returned to be greeted by a waiter. So please agree out of respect for the customers, a truly dismal welcome but we thank this lady for having rejected us and by introducing us to the restaurant right next door where we were welcomed with a smile despite our stroller, and excellent meals, copious and gourmands, and very smiling waiters despite the crowd. I wanted to denounce this practice of choosing your customers, we were for a stroller but I think that there must be other criteria, it must suit this lady whose work is supposed to welcome and respect ALL customers.

We came on Saturday May 11, a very busy day due to the very good weather that day and the 5-day weekend. We found a table for 2!!! The service was TOP, the waitress always wanted to know if everything was going well and if we had everything we needed!! The kitchen is very good! Delicious seafood!! Dont change anything!!!

Very good address facing the port of Dieppe found thanks to Google reviews. Very friendly waitresses, varied menu with tasty homemade dishes. We recommend this restaurant with a small terrace which also offers high chairs for young children :)

While passing through Dieppe, we had lunch in this nice restaurant with a view of the port. Good fresh products, responsive servers. We will come back to this.

Located directly on the harbor promenade. Its busy and you should make a reservation, otherwise its just a matter of luck getting a table. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. The service is competent and very friendly. The food, moules frittes, was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

When you are a tourist in the region, it is typically this kind of address that adds to the memories of a successful stay. We did not shy away from our pleasure, we went there three times. An experienced team works hard for you both in the kitchen and in the very pleasant service. You have to arrive early to hope to have a place without reservation. 11:40 a.m. for a table of 3 people. This means that this restaurant is popular in Dieppe! Almost just locals at the table. And when you taste it, you understand why! Tasty and varied dishes, homemade galore, all for a reasonable price. Really a good address. I think you can reserve a table well in advance.
