A must visit this Indian restaurant every time you come to Dieppe. This restaurant is not as well located as the other restaurants in the port but it is well worth the trip there to discover new flavors. Warm welcome. We recommend and will come back again.

Coming from London, Im used to being surrounded by quality Indian restaurants. France needs more quality Indian restaurants like the Taj Mahal Dieppe! The food is delicious and as it is a family restaurant, there is a pleasant, family and warm atmosphere! This is my first visit and I will definitely return in the future. Well done to the family!!! We discovered this Indian-Pakistani restaurant during our visit to Dieppe, and it was a real revelation. The dishes are tasty, spiced just right, and the portions are generous. The chicken tikka masala and cheese naan were delicious, everything was perfectly prepared and authentic. The staff is warm and attentive, ready to advise on dishes for a complete taste discovery. The setting is welcoming, with an exotic atmosphere which adds to the pleasure of the meal. We highly recommend this restaurant, a true culinary gem in Dieppe!!! Very nice discovery for this small restaurant located along the port but a little away from the city center. Refined and copious cuisine served by a gentleman who takes great care of his customers! It is certain that during our next visit to Dieppe we will not fail to return to the Taj Mahal.

Order placed via Uber Eats. I chose the Mix Grill composed of samosa, prawns, chicken and lamb. I dont know what spice blend they put on it but the taste is truly amazing. Theres just one piece that was hard and its so good that we would like more

We have been customers of this establishment for several years now and are very satisfied. Quality Indian cuisine, tasty and generous, with the sublime aromas of spices... what a delight for the taste buds! The boss is adorable, friendly and very welcoming. We are loyal to this restaurant which is a real great discovery, so if you are hesitant, go ahead, try it for yourself and you will probably be won over just as we were. Good value for money and varied choice.

I just got takeaway, I ask him how long, he tells me 5 minutes. 5 minutes later the order is ready. In between the boss offers me a drink even though there is a 5 minute wait. Too kind, hardworking, helpful, fast, welcoming. Arrived at my accommodation 7 minutes later. Hot and hearty dishes perfect for a big eater and perfect for an average eater. The cuisine responds to what is marked on the menu and is well done, the samousas are well cooked with guaram masala and many other things that please our taste buds, accompanied by 2 typical sauces. The cheese naans are hot from the tandor, light, tasty, colorful and hearty. The light and very fragrant long basmati rice and the tandoori chicken curry with fresh coriander TOP and hearty. I highly recommend this restaurant to all Dieppe residents and passing tourists.

Frankly big disappointment, after reading the reviews I expected a minimum but we have to stop misleading customers. Restaurant not clean, very small, the taste is dsl but there is no ice cream for children. The lassi (Indian drink) is not at all there. The truth is not to spend your money for nothing, chart your course better and for those who test you will see for yourself...

The staff is very nice Unfortunately thats not all. I took a mixed grill, for 15. The meat must be cooked separately. It is presented reheated on a pan filled with oil. 2 pieces of meat out of the three on the plate, in addition to being small, were dry, there was also a prawn the size of a green bean, dried out, all without any accompaniment except for strips of fried onion in 1cm of oil. My son had some Balti lamb which he found very good, however, this morning he has a stomach ache... The food still tastes good. the portions are small. The cheese no, Ive eaten much better ones. That being said, I will not return, the value for money is not there. And the restaurateurs family eating at the same time and making a lot of noise doesnt seem too serious. I would have given 2* for the food, the 3rd is for the very nice staff.

Nice service! Excellent cuisine, I loved the cheese and eggplant nanas, they were killer!

Unfortunately only a very mediocre experience. The Mixed Grill starter was far too little for 15 euros, the shrimp was like it was made of rubber. The Agneau Tandoori was drowned in far too oily sauce and the meat was of poor quality. The Palak Paneer was oily and unappetizing. Tasted old and had been warmed up several times. The Kulfi for dessert was also of inferior quality. Full of small water-ice crystals, the kind that form when ice is thawed and refrozen. Only the rice and the Garlic Naan were good, but unfortunately the garlic was also saved on the naan. Everything was somehow boring and spicy and overall far too expensive for what was on offer (even a free coffee at the end doesnt help). I cant recommend the place. There are much better ones with higher quality and more authentic Indian food.

Probablement récupéré dune assiette dun autre client ( jai pris à emporter) . Un shahi korma orange et très sucré à vomir. Le lieu nest dailleurs pas très propre FUILLEZ !

Disappointment ! Dish does not correspond at all to the description on the menu. A mixed dish with pistachios, I had a bowl of rice with almonds and peas, spicy at 13.50 EUR per bowl. Without the sauces to accompany a vegetarian dish. Disappointed by the dessert, at 5.50 euros I would have liked to have had a slice of normal cake but there we were served a very small square rikiki..uh? Im not saying it wasnt good but the quantity wasnt there. I will not return to this restaurant, too bad.

Two people ate there last night and were pleasantly surprised. Courteous and very friendly service. The Garlic-Nan was very fresh and a great appetizer, the main course was also very tasty and not too spicy, but cleverly seasoned. I was just in Germany a week ago with a (good) Indian guy, and this one definitely took the crown from him. The shrimp was already pre-peeled in the middle. The red house wine is also surprisingly good in terms of price and taste.

Already we arrive, they dont bring us the card. Then I am served a glass of cider without bubbles from the day before. And then, again, we have to go to the counter for our order to be taken. We ask for bread to eat the sauces they give, they bring us cheese naans (for which we are charged of course). My husbands starter and mine were served on the same plate and Ill let you guess the quantity. The main course was definitely not enough. The baby chair was dirty. Catastrophic, we will never set foot there again. 65th to come out of the restaurant hungry run away.

Huge disappointment... We ordered samosas as a starter. These were still frozen inside. For the main course I ordered madras shrimp for 15 euros for 6 shrimp... supposed to be spicy but I had the same sauce as my husband who had a chicken with pepper sauce. I made the comment to the waiter... no commercial gesture. I wont set foot there again...

Very narrow restaurant. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. The owners children ran around eating and touching the guests cutlery. The size of the food is outrageous for the price - more suitable as a starter. In terms of taste, its really just lower middle class. Once and never again!

Hi, I ordered basmati rice with dried fruits, eggplant curry with spiced tea. I had basmati rice with candied fruits with banana slices!!!!, papaya!!!! among other things super sweet I had never seen such an original combination.... disgusting the aubergine curry was dull to death... plus they added cheese!!! except I had specified that lactose was not my thing at all..... so I saw that the tea... I complained about 24 it made me 16 super expensive for the tea because the rest I didnt touch I didnt want to bother or trust the imitation cook again, not serious otherwise in tea ingredients even 0.50 they wanted almost 5 an abuse... afterward I paid 16 there you go allergic negligence

After being miserably caught by a bewitching sign next to the Ferris wheel where EVERYTHING is NOT WELL AT ALL!!! The Taj Mahal was able to make us forget this misadventure and transport us to a delight of flavors.
