Since moving to New Brunswick in July, we ve tried a few Japanese restaurants in the area, and Sugar Roll has definitely been the best so far. The flavors were authentic, and the ramen was outstanding the broth was rich, and the noodles were just right. It really hit the spot! The only downside was the meat, which was a bit tough, but overall, this place exceeded our expectations.

A bit chilly but cute lively makes it a cozy atmosphere! Loved my experience here. Will be back when I am back in the area!

Staff was very friendly when we went in and the 70 piece sushi platter was fantastic. Nothing was soggy when we got it home. All tasted great, and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. Its been here in town for a while and I hadnt gone until now. Ill be back for sure now.

Had the creamy veggie ramen and an avocado roll, with a green tea share between my group. Everything tasted amazing, and the food was served incredibly quickly. The server was busy but on top of everything, and the restaurant was well maintained. Vegetarian options: There was vegan and vegetarian options available.

THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! As soon as I walked in, I noticed the authentic feel of the restaurant. It is so neat, there are cute decor everywhere, and there are vintage and unique spoons in the tables! Great place for dates also. Waiting wasn t too long either, and the sushi and soup were DELICIOUS. Felt satisfied. Prices were very reasonable. This is now my go-to place every time I visit Moncton. ^_^ Parking: There s just about enough parking spaces. On some busy days, however, I wished there were a bit more.

Got the tonkatsu ramen and korean spicy dumplings. The soup for ramen was really good and the korean sauce helped add a bit more flavour. The eggs were tea eggs rather then ramen eggs which was interesting. Would have preferred goey ramen eggs but tea eggs were quite nice too.

Seevice was good , food was not very tasty for Japanese cuisine. We were here for lunch, and it wasnt too busy. Service was fast. In and out in 30 minutes. Sadly, the dishes were not rush back kind of experience calamari seemed like it was premade from frozen. No sauce with the Tuna tataki. Spring rolls were just ok. Shrimp was the best thing we had. The large avocado salad was tasty but certainly not large.

Top notch eats! We ordered the bulgogi bento and it was delicious. I had their miso soup as well and it was just as good as the last time I had it. It is not the cheapest but that is the same with the quality that they put out. You get what you pay for it. This is my new fave spot in the greater Moncton area.

Great food and service. This place was hopping with takeout orders. Even with all the takeout, our food was reasonably quick, and it was fresh and hot. Parking: There are a good number of parking spots, but on a busy night of sit-in dinners, you might have a problem.

The food is delicious, but the server isnt. He s very rude. Every time we dine in, I always hope he wont be the one serving us. He is really rude. Doesn t even bother to say excuse when he clears our plates or ask if we are done or not. Its a shame about the food if the server is rude. I think that guy is the longest-serving server at the restaurant.

Dropped in on our way home to NS Saturday not knowing anything about the menu and found our server, Hong very helpful and friendly. He took our questions and requests and came up with a wonderful variety of sushi, Tempura shrimp and a spicy pork dish called Jeyuk. The pickled ginger and wasabi were the perfect compliment to the meal. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!! We will return next time we are in the area!!

Extremely disappointing experience! Ordered online through the site. The order did not complete. Had to call to confirm. Credit card was charged double the amount and twice (so 4 times the amount total!) Then the food never was delivered. I had to start all over again at 8pm (as places were closing) during a snowstorm, to feed a child stranded in the storm. Could not have been any worse for an experience! When I called to rectify the situation, the staff was horribly unhelpful and refused to help or remedy the situation! kitchen closed, sorry, good luck! Disgusting! Never again!

Ive yet to had a bad experience at Sugar Roll and Ive eaten there MANY times. Their lunch combos are so good and reasonably priced! The cheese fire roll is our favourite, a must try! You wont be disappointed so stop by and give them a try!

Went here for late lunch on the 19th with friends because they were raving about this ramen place. My workmates have been here previously but it was my first time to dine here. I ordered Tonkotsu black and simple salmon roll. I can t get enough of their salmon roll I had to order a take away for me to enjoy for dinner The tonkotsu black is very aromatic and it was assembled perfectly. They say we eat with our eyes first and they did a perfect job in presenting the food and the smell just tingles your senses to the highest level My first sip of the broth is heaven! Would I recommend this place? Definitely! A side note though, I know staff are busy but smiling more would not hurt y all handsome boys (ps. Made a reel and tagged your facebook page)

I ve been ordering from this restaurant for a few years now, food is so good, staff are always very nice and welcoming. Recently, one item was missing from my order and we only realized after we got home. I contacted them and the issue was resolved quickly. Can t wait for my next visit!

Sushi is very tasty and bigger than most places in town. Salmon roll has a decent amount of salmon and everything is super fresh. They usually send us extra unagi sauce at no cost (love it!). Price is reasonable. I usually order take out and it never disappoints. The yakisoba is amazing, I wish they offered the option to purchase extra noodles because I always want more

I go there for lunch. The bento box is well worth it for 20$ approx and there is a lot of food for what you pay. Servers are very nice and and service is quick. Would recommend!

I ve been a fan of Sugar Roll since it first opened. My order is fresh everytime and it s reliable service and food quality. I find the portions to be well-sized for price and the fish is generous and fresher than most sushi spots in the Moncton area. Big fan of the Ramen and Fried Tofu as well. Service is always great, keep up the great work!

I started dining here in 2019 during my nursing degree and would meet up with colleagues at Sugar Roll for brain food . Even after I moved away from the area, I have been taking nursing contracts in the area just so I could have the same amazing sushi.
