Good quality food although the quantity is not great for the prices. Quite nice place even for a simple drink.

Great restaurant, I highly recommend mussels and scallops which are very fresh and impeccable service, go there with your eyes closed!!

First encounter with a very pleasant and competent young waitress, then service taken over by the owner who was abandoned.... We had to ask twice for a carafe of water, the starters arrived cold and uncooked (scallops and egg casserole) yet there was no crowd... For the dishes (mussels and breaded fish), nothing to say, it was very good except that there were only fries on the side even though it was 12:15 p.m.!

Very long wait, sparsely stocked boards especially for the price, overcooked cheese that looked like melted butter. The staff was more busy chatting with regulars than preparing orders. We dont recommend it, which is a shame because the cocktails are quite good!

We came for lunch, the staff were welcoming and the meals were very good. Excellent fried mussels for me and a very nice steak for my husband. We loved it and we are keeping this address to come back.

While passing through Dieppe we stopped at this restaurant seeing the affordable prices compared to other restaurants in the port. Good value for money Super good and very generous cocktails! Very fast service on a Tuesday lunchtime. The servers are super nice and make little jokes.

We entered without looking at the reviews and we did well. When we are disappointed we post negative comments, too few post comments when they are happy. We arrived at midday for lunch and were not disappointed. The staff is welcoming and pleasant, full of humor. We ate mussels, which were well cooked, well filled (no empty!), plentiful. My partner ate an absolutely delicious vegetarian burger: thank you for thinking of people who dont eat meat, without offering tasteless dishes! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian burgers are original and delicious.

We had heard the atmosphere and this great singer-guitarist who created a superb atmosphere (07/27) so we sat down without knowing that we were going to sing, laugh and dance!!! TOURISTS, ATTENTION: We order 2 beers, total 16E. The waiter, when cashing, hands us the terminal upside down, we ask for the ticket. He gives it to us: 18E. More apologies etc.. I confused it with the table next to it.. etc. We order 2 dishes, small whelk/shrimp plate and fish n chips. We calculate 27.5E (12+15.5). And then there: the server tells us 29.5E. Oh damn, the price of the plate is 14E on my terminal (yet displayed on the menu at 12E), I ll check with the boss the boss sticks her head out, LOOKS at us, without any embarrassment, then brings her back in head. Obviously we paid 27.5 but we wanted to warn newbies, BE CAREFUL! The cocktails are good. Tapas are very expensive for chips, frozen fries, canned feta peppers and sandwich bread with snail butter on it (so-called garlic bread). All served in plastic bowls. If you are looking for a tapas bar, go your way. The servers are overwhelmed, it is impossible for them to keep up, which leads to rudeness to customers and sometimes long waits.

First time going to this restaurant and very disappointed. we ask for a banana ice cream and we realize that there is everything except the banana, we tell them that there is none, they come back with chopped bananas in a bowl. I had food poisoning and had some mussels and fries, so they were already cold and they were frozen fries with disgusting coffee. The menu does not list all the ingredients and a friend is allergic to one of them. Despite that, the waitress had a very bad attitude and in the end wanted to overcharge us. The only Mexican thing it has is the name.

Superb establishment. Beautiful setting, located on the port of Dieppe. Warm and efficient service. Very friendly atmosphere with a Cuban tendency. A very dynamic and very friendly team. There is a multitude of exceptional Cocktails prepared with love by Barman Hugues. His wife takes care of the different and excellent dishes. Tapas, meat, fish, seafood, desserts... In short, there is something for everyone. Original dishes like a variation of top Canadian poutine, a homemade chedar guacamole sauce to accompany your tortillas.... A must-see place that I recommend.

Unfortunately the moules werent fully cooked. The raw meat was hanging on the shell. That wasnt interesting. 2/3 was therefore inedible. Later, of course, a stomach ache. The cafe gourmet was good. The service was asleep. There wasnt much going on. In between, furniture was unloaded and carried across the restaurant. The staff stood smoking in the entrance the whole time. Not so tasty. Unfortunately, the garbage was being emptied on the street... That was really bad, the restaurant cant do anything about that. But the place should perhaps not plan this service at lunchtime, when everyone is sitting on the quay and eating. Its a shame the situation promised more.

Hello, I just shared this comment to tell you that your waitress (elderly lady) is really rude and not respectful. She yelled at my parents in front of customers because they moved a chair 5 cm and no more. Its really unbearable and I really stayed calm otherwise I was going to beat the shit out of him. Ps: two customers in the same situation with the same waitress. I pray the manager does what is necessary or he will lose most of these seasonal customers. On the other hand, the dish was fresh, not like the service and as they say, a dish without service is a dish lost. While passing through Dieppe we wanted to try this bar. A shot for 10 euros!! Slow waitress with a panther outfit. 30 min for an order we had to order at the bar to ask for the menu. I do not recommend staying at home!! Take earplugs, the music and the singers are catastrophic dirty toilets, it looks like a pigsty. Customers wait while the team chats with each other!

Quite disappointed with this restaurant. Came to Dieppe on vacation. Drink service quite fast but for the dishes we waited 30 minutes. And then the prices were quite excessive for frozen burgers and fries, which we didn t finish anyway. OK for a drink but not for eating.

Surprised to see bad comments. We ate there this afternoon, without looking at the comments, just passing by in the street. We ate on the port side, just nice. The interior decoration is superb. We arrived at 12pm sharp and sat down, the very friendly waiter took care of us straight away. We took advantage of a menu for 18 Euro, which was quite nice. Our starters were delicious, our main courses arrived without much delay, everything was very good and plentiful enough for me. We had an ice cream for dessert and a fromage blanc, very good. Personally I recommend +++.

They dont even deserve this star. First of all, an hour of waiting before taking the order, then 30 minutes of waiting to receive the tapas (garlic bread for 8) which is not even real garlic bread. After 1h30 finally the dishes! But cold dishes, frozen food, and dont follow orders (get it wrong several times). Pretty good dishes. Waiter who insults his team to customers. Carafe of hot water without glasses of water and having to go get it ourselves because otherwise an extra hour of waiting. Wobbly table and parasol that almost fell. The cocktails were expensive and Im still looking for the alcohol... we ordered a platter to share... what can I say except that for 21 we got 3 nuggets, McDonalds fries, 2 small fried camemberts and 2 chili peppers served not on a board or in a nice dish but in a plastic tray. Its simple after 1h15 of waiting we left without eating. Of course, there were a few people, but not too many people either. Arrived at 1 p.m., 25 minutes to get the card which had to be requested twice. We had an activity at 2:30 p.m., at 2:15 p.m. still not our dishes, no choice... I want to understand that there was a lack of hands in the kitchen, we know the current problems of the profession. But we warn customers in this case that there will be a wait, there are around ten restaurants in the street, we would have moved on.

Table close to the port terrace, no set on the tables, no cutlery set, dishes are brought before drinks, and dishes not served at the same time for a table, incompetent waiters who do not know the table numbers, the dishes travel, no childrens menu, nuggets and fries retail price i.e. for a child a dish at 14 euros..... (8 euros handful of industrial nuggets served in a plastic bread tray, without towel, hygiene... .. + 6 euros barely cooked fries). Dish of dieppe mussels and fries, cold cream, almost non-existent shrimp, cold mussels. Jazz hamburger 17 euros industrial bread, little sauce, bland. Kite festival so you can take advantage of making easy money on the backs of customers. Bill of 78.50 euros is steep for 2 mussels and fries, 1 plate of nuggets and fries and 1 hamburger, 3 cokes. Ashamed.

On the menu was a bottle of cider from Brittany at 6% and we received a cider from Normandy at 5%. The patron saw no problem with it. We also ordered a Mexican tapa dish for 21.00, but this was nothing more than a mixture of fried snacks.

First, we waited a long time for service, then it turned out that we would not get anything from the extensive menu written on the boards, then we learned that of the 5 selected dishes on the paper menu, three were not available (including mussels, which are available in every restaurant near the port). I think the lady just wanted to get us off quickly. Next to the guests, if the waffles were eaten and they left half of them, they were probably not tasty. So if you are looking for a restaurant where you wont eat anything despite the extensive menu, I (DO NOT) recommend Cactus Cafe.
