Café Marceau - Brasserie - Salon de Thé in Dieppe

Small brasserie a stones throw from the port which is definitely worth a stop. The welcome is warm, the setting friendly and the food is really good, we really feel the desire to please the customer more than to take us for money pumps. We went there on 09/21/24 for the first time even though we have been going to Dieppe for years, but it will certainly not be the only time we stop at this little dining bar I really recommend for the ratio / quality / price / welcome

We arrived today at the end of service (2:30 p.m.), and were nevertheless wonderfully received. A young waitress at the top and a smile at the meeting! There were 7 of us and we ate different dishes, we were all delighted: fresh products, a good choice and all that with more than fair prices. Go there with your eyes closed, you will be amazed at the quality/price ratio! Thank you for this good time. Small extra point dog welcome both inside and on the terrace (water available...)

Coming from Belgium we were pleasantly surprised. Very well received in this pretty brasserie. A great little extra waitress welcomes us for our meal without reservation, 10 minutes before the end of her service. Excellent cuisine. Waitress attentive to our requests and very friendly. To recommend without problem.

To avoid completely!!! No time to sit on the terrace, we ask the waitress (or boss) to borrow the toilet for our 2 year old who is clean and who suddenly demands (large commission in this case which cannot be done in nature ... ). The latter refused us access, under the pretext that in any case the price of a toilet flush is the same whether it is for a child or an adult. Frankly annoying having to explain to the little one that she will have to do it because the shops have 10L of water ready because we havent used it yet! Of course we left and we will never come back!!! Frankly for traders, no sense of commerce, a shame even, especially for the inhabitants of Dieppe who keep them alive in the winter!! Inflation is for everyone of course... to the wise!!

The fish casserole is to die for with a little creamy sauce. The atmosphere is family-friendly while remaining discreet and both the waitress and the owner welcome us with a broad smile and unparalleled availability.

Pour un salon de thé, c est déjà pas terrible mais qui reste collée à l assiette, là il y a un problème que la patronne ou serveuse balaie d un revers de manche. Elle ne peut pas servir sur vraie assiette. Trop de.monde! Sans compter le chocolat chaud insipide et un thé noir unique! Salon de thé vous avez dit?! Une fois, pas deux. Adieu

Tea room quite noisy especially upstairs. No decoration upstairs even though the frontage is nice and tempting. The crepes are served on paper plates: where is the ecology when we eat on site? Moreover, the crepe sticks to the plate... not great.

There are more than enough and comparable brasseries in the area. They are very unfriendly and super arrogant here. Hospitality is not in their dictionary.

Had a cappuccino here, the facade suggests a nice coffee bar, but they have no knowledge of coffee. Not recommended.

Very honestly to avoid, I took a Savoyard burger not worth the price (served with fries but there was an aftertaste of vinegar, are these home fries???) the person who was with me only took one gourmet coffee or there was a pot of rice pudding (clearly inedible) and a crème caramel? Same, everything was left on the plate except the profiterole which was a little overcooked but it was the only dessert that was eaten. I did this to the waitress who only nodded and shoved the person who was with me I think out of nastiness. Very disappointed, we will not come back. Its overpriced, in our time if you come to eat at a restaurant its at least to have quality, there was none at all.

A great café restaurant! The value for money is excellent, the service equally so and the crepes... so good! A real local business that is worth the detour, I highly recommend it! Excellent lunch in Dieppe. The owner is super nice as are the two girls who work here. Lunch menu at 12 euros with starter and main course. All delicious (small fish and salad + pepper sirloin with side dishes of Ratatouille and rice with chips) Clean and well-kept place. Its worth it.

I really liked the herring and apples in oil, much less the dish of the day, a stuffed tomato (tomato and stuffing without flavors, rubbery stuffing which seemed largely composed of bread), at the same time it will teach me to do the stupid thing of ordering a stuffed tomato in February.
